Honda Motor replacement of fuel gauge within warranty period

I have purchased a Honda activa from Ronak Honda, Tosham Bhiwani on 10.05.2014 in cash. In September 2014, the fuel guage of the scooty became dead. I lodged my complain for replacement of fuel guage during service of scooty in Oct 2014 at BRS Honda, Agency, Narnaul(HR). The store keeper as well as manager of BRS Honda agency have shown unavailability of the said accessory and told me to visit later. In pursuance with manager BRS Honda, I visited the agency time and again but infructuous. I repeated my complaint during service of scooty in Mar 2015 but the same reply was received from the manager.
It is therefore requested that necessary action in this regard may be taken at the earliest.

I HAD PURCASED ACTIVA THIS WEEK AND THE MIRROR ARE NOT ABLE TO FIT PROPERLY WHEN I GO TO DEALER THEY TOLD ME THAT THE PROBLEM IS OF MIRROR BRACKKET AND HE TOLD ME THAT IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN WARRANTY

Honda Motor refusal to allow test drive

I went to buy a honda activa today. The first striking thing to experience at the showroom was the indifferent attitude of the sales personnel towards a customer. It seemed that it doesn't matter if I take the scooter or not. After that they said that test drive is not allowed. Is this a settled company policy not to allow test drive? If so then don't you think that it is unethical to tell a person to buy a 70000 rupees thing without even letting her ride that thing once? Isn't this confidence that people will buy their scooter without testing them too much?

My name is Rajshree Batra. My Scooter Booking No. 300017 dt. 25/09/2011 – Receipt No. 4593 dt. 22/03/2012 paid Rs 53415 - Delivery promised on 31/03/2012, however, inspite of repeated phone calls and personal visits, delivery is not made till date. The dealer Pilot Honda, Chembur, Mumbai is only making false promises. Today also they have told it will take one week. Please look into the matter and reply at the earliest.

Honda Motor engine/crankshaft/oil pump

in the month of august my scooter(pleasure) 2008 model started showing problem in starting as well as there is a strange acreech voice coming from engine.the showroom/servicenter mechanic told us that its crank shaft is bent and need to be aligned in a lathe machine n he said piston rings also needs to be changed so it costed us 3000 rs. then again after 2 months engine was producing much worse sound and this time they told us oil pump is not working ad becouse of this. many parts are worn out got scrathed and the reapair cost. was 2500 rs . now onlyonly been one week since that repair now again same problem striked again.. and i think this service center is fooling me and everytime. looting me by telling us false faults what shoud i do with him.

Honda Motor paint warranty

i have owned several Hondas over the years because they HAD a reputation for reliability and quality.In 2008 I purchased a 2002 Accord that had some paint issues.

The car had not been in an accident but had crows feet in the paint and several areas that were big white splotches. Because the rest of the car was nice I put up with the obvious quality issue with the paint. 2 years ago we purchased a 2008 Civic that has started showing similar issues. Honda advised us that they are extending the warranty on the paint.

I can only assume it's because they realize it is substandard. The repair has to be handled by a Honda dealer who advised me that a loaner nor rental car are covered even though it will take up to 2 WEEKS to complete the repair! we purchased a vehicle because we needed the transportation. What are we supposed to do?

Honda says we can rent a vehicle (at our expense even though this is an obvious manufacture defect). Their claim is that this is outlined in their warranty.

So, they're covered but this is still *** poor customer service.This will be the last Hoda for me and I'm telling everyone I know to stay away from this company who has apparently been cutting corners for years with no consequences since they put in theor written warranty that they're screwing us, the consumer!

Honda Motor issue of defective vehicle

good evening sir,
I am Capt Kavita, working in Army Hospital R and R, New Delhi. I Purchased a white Honda Activa from your dealer(Yume Honda, Old Delhi Road, Maruti gate no 2, Gurgaon) on 16th March 2015. I hardly drove a few kms, the vehicle started having starting problem. It stopped in mid of highway, many times, becoming a cause of embarrassment and danger. I contacted the dealer and they assured me that it will be taken care of and it’s just a minute problem. despite my hectic schedule, I visited them again and after doing some adjustment, they promised that it will not happen again. After driving for 5 kms, it again switched off. I called them and they sent one mechanic who after doing some more adjustments, finally started it. The same story followed many times, by the time I reached back to my place. Next day, they took the vehicle for three days, as they need to check it through some highly sophisticated machines and by the experts. After doing all this, they called me to take it back as the problem has been rectified. I was happy that its finally been done and was juvenile with the response of Honda. But it was very short lived. After driving for 7/8 kms, the engine switched off and the vehicle didn't start. I called the dealer and he sent the mechanic. He, after trying for half an hr, started the vehicle. I drove back to show room and handed the vehicle back. I asked for replacing the vehicle, as it’s been a severe head ache for me, as I being in army, hardly get any free time, and from the day I have taken this vehicle, it’s just causing worries for me. Regarding changing vehicle, the manager replied that they can’t as its been registered on my name. Today they changed a few parts, but the problem remains the same. They have finally told that they will keep the vehicle & they will call expert engineers and show it to them. when I am asking to replace the vehicle, he is telling he can’t as its been registered and he can just change a few parts. I am paying for a new vehicle, and I bought honda, thinking it will cause no worries to me for next five-six years. Changing parts in a new vehicle is as good as buying a second hand vehicle, which could have been cheaper and convenient, also. But the response of dealer is against the Honda company and its causing bad name to Honda. I please request to take necessary action and change my vehicle at the earliest, as I am about to get posted out of Delhi very soon.

Honda Motor petrolleak and starting

I Purchased Herp Hond Pleasure for my daughter, In the beginning I felt that I might have got a defective vehicle as it was not starting on the second day itself. Even after continuous kick starts it was not igniting. I thought to myself if this conditionon is in summer, then what will be in winter and rainy when the vehicle gets colder. No respite and resolution from KUNDAN AUTOMOBILES and even after contacting CHIEFS from HERO MOTOCORPS. There manager said me, even he owns a pleasure and he gives 5 kicks daily. Pitty on him. One 750 ml petrol was consumes for less than 2 km distance. The tank dried out in seconds. God alone save our young drivers (our children) for whom we buy as their first bike.

I am fully agree with above complaint, because i also received new bike with scratches.

After paying a big amount if any thing happen with our bike, it is not acceptable & it is showing the company is taking care of customers.

Honda Motor ineffective working of vehicle

Dear concern,
It is to inform you about the poor, inactive, irresponsible behaviour of the ' Samarth Honda service centre ' Udaipur.
I had purchased activa RJ 27-JS 8915 on 4th of may 2014. After a regular service and regular complains, the service provided was ineffective and careless moreover the serviceman didn't provided any attention regarding the engine problem which heats up faster and produce a low frequency sound with bad burning smell in small travelled distance of about 4-5 kms. Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible. Else I need to take some legal action against the company and the service centre.

sir, i beg to say that today i was gone to honda showroom in morena(roshan honda) i jus collect info for honda activa but the dealer was face me a bad behaviour...for that... he said me, it is coumpalsary to take accesories in scooter, and faced me demand for 5000rs extra for accesories... pls take some action on it...

Honda Motor bad service

I purchase activa in June, 2014.
When I went for first service though it was mentioned free but I got the bill for around Rs.450 when I asked, I was told that following oils are compulsory to purchase :
- Engine oil
- Adhesive oil
- Gear box oil
That seemed so weird that last two oils are compulsory.
In second service I was charged only Rs.240 for engine oil but my complaint regarding activa creating noise was not resolved.
In third service, It is mentioned that they will change the spark plug but they refused to do so. Moreover Activa was having problem that it use to get stop whenever let on at 0 speed. I was told that it was resolved but still not. Moreover when I got my activa after service, activa was full of dust and when I complained that u r handing me the activa after service in such manner then they took step and cleaned my activa with polish.
I mean thr is no process they are following whther activa service is correctly done or not.

Company should take strict action agains these service centres and audit should be done surprisingly.

Honda Motor poor service by dealer

I have purchase a Activa from Sohan lal & Sons (Akanksha Autozone), Moradabad, they have given me a defective product, even after 2 days of driving their is a problem occurred. when i complaint about the same to dealer, they misbehave me. I am speechless now, spent 60K odd bucks and still facing problems.

Big problem is that their staff is misbehaving.& use words like - "GO Home & SIT", "Bring that person who has purchased the vehicle".

Please dont purchase any vehicle form Sohan Lal & Sons, CHandausi & Akanksha Honda Moradabad.

Honda Motor damaged window

I purshased Honda CR-V on 13/12/2014 from Honda The Glen and on 15/12/2014 the rear lef window was smashed by thugs. I realised later that the front left door had a deep dent which cause disturbing noise when you open it. I then informed Honda The Glen on 17/12/2014 since 16/12/2014 was a public holiday and they informed me that I must fix the damages since its my responsibility. Much as I know that it is neither their doing or mine, I thought since the car was less than 3 days old it will be covered by the car dealer. I then call them again after running around and calling companies that replace glasses who told me that the car is still new they dont have glass for my car. Honda then emailed me the invoice and informed me to pay the amount before they can order the glass window for me. My frustrations with the whole thing is that the way the dealer is dealing with the situation does not help in enjoying the car I bought from them. I even ask them if I can cancel the deal and return the car and pay total cost of damage, they did not respond. Please advise as to the best way to do to in order to be a happy customer. Honda Motor scammers

From the sales persons to the managers to the general sales managers are all about nothing more than money.

If you are not paying what they want you to pay, then you are treated accordingly.

Very bad reputation from others in our community and have thus started our annual purchases elsewhere.

Surprisingly money makes money, but only time will tell how deep are Bob's pockets which are being filled by ignorant consumers...

Consumers, go spend your money elsewhere. All these guys want is to sell their car at high prices while giving you pennies for yours. Stay away from these greedy and very bad people. May God teach them a lesson for life and end up being broke forever. Amen!

Honda Motor in warranty asking for money

Purchased honda activa reg no - dl5sbe4175,
From rajindra motors, bhajanpura branch, lock not properly working, in warranty they are asking 750 rs for replacement, earlier there secondary branch usman pur in warranty taken charges for replacing sw unitdimmer switch. If for every parts u peoples asked for money. . . Then what`s is warranty. . . Spoken with bhajanpura incharge alok pandey [protected]. He even don`t given any response.

Sir,
This is with reference to a Honda Activa purchased by me on 30.06.2010 with the registration number TN-01-AL 4627 from the delar Didar Honda Chennai (Dealer code TN01-0001) .

Although the vehical is under warranty both the wheel disks are fully rusted in spite of my regular service and maintenance. The same may be replaced at the earliest point of time.

Honda Motor manufacturing defect

I have purchased new honda activa, when i drove it some noise and vibrations occurred, i told to dealer, he said the vehicle is new that's why problem has been occurred, after few weeks some other sound started to come, then i went to dealer, he was not ready to accept the problem after a long discussion he was ready to accept that this is the manufacturing problem in this vehicle.

Honda Motor unhelpful sales representative & car defect not handle properly

I have collected my brand new Honda Accord 2.0 VTi-L at Peringgit Honda Old Klang Road on 24 October 2014. I would like to raise few complaints to Honda Malaysia for your attention and i would like to hear from your reply too.

1) Customer Sales Representative issue:
Before aquiring the above car, I have requested Mr. Isaac of the above dealer to arrange for my old Honda Accord Year 2005 to be traded-in but unfortunately, I have to personally meet him at Old Klang Road 3 times and yet the matter was NOT resolved due to processes issues which I was NOT informed. In the end, I had to trade-in the car myself using another used car dealer. Please note my office is in Bandar Mahkota Cheras. Imagine the hassle of taking time-off and the travelling distance just to settle this matter! Plus, the collection of my new car was try to delayed until Monday despite me having personally delivered to him the JPJ car registration number, and the requisite insurance documents on last Wednesday. I requested my car to be delivered on Friday but it Isaac was trying to delay to Monday citing JPJ registration, ownership transfer issues as the cause of delay. I was very unhappy of his sales service quality.

2) Car Defect Not Handled Properly
I immediately noticed there were several defects upon collection of my car and requested for immediate rectification of the defects (which will be more specifically listed below). Mr. Isaac refused to rectify the defects immediately and have asked me to return upon my first 1000km service for the rectifications to be made.
Please take note that these were the defects found on my car:
a) Rust on panel adjoining bonnet hood (front passenger side (enclosed photo) which was only touched-up during the first 1000km service. NOTE: The touch-up job is very BADLY done resulting in a coarse surface!
b) Water condensation on both fog lamps (enclosed photo) (fixed on first 1000km service)
c) Spray paint marks on rear windscreen (fixed on first 1000km service)
d) Dust particles on both front headlamps (enclosed photo) - NOT fixed
e) The most unsatisfactory of all defects: wheel alignment problem. The service advisor, Mr. Lam Cheong Hoong, mention to me that: This is a factory defect, as in alignment is already DONE at factory before delivering the new car to them. If I wanted it done, it can be done at MY own COSTS and EXPENSES!

This service centre is a disappointment. I also serviced my CRV there a few times and gave up after a few attempts as the service reps are just unhelpful or lack knowledge of their product. I have been a Toyota man for many years and the 1st foray with Honda and what a disappointment. It is just a matter of a year or so when my CRV reaches 3 years and I will dispose it. Nice car but in wrong hands!

Honda Motor undeclared damages on used car

On 2012 I bought a used 2009 Honda Odyssey with a Carfax history report saying no accident/ no damages report on the vehicle.
Recently, 2014 I had the vehicle appraised by Carmax and I was told because of the accident data on the vehicle, the value was affected by almost $ 6, 000 difference. According to Kelley's Blue Book the value would be about $ 15, 000 something.
But because of the replaced front driver's door & front passenger door, I was offered only $ 9, 000.
I went back to the dealer ( Diamond Honda ) and complain that, they didn't declare any damages on the vehicle when I bought it and I want compensation on it. Because I can't sell it for the price that I want. I want the vehicle but I want my payments lower.
They basically told me, that I am stuck with it coz they ( Carfax ) didn't report to them that there was damages with the car as well.
Now, I am stuck with the higher car payments.

Honda Motor purposely holding rto passing

Hi,
I am having a very bad experience with B U bhandari two wheeler honda pune. I booked a Honda activa I almost a month back with card payment of amount Rs 57250/- without any loan.They gave me commitment on getting all procedure be done within 4 days.On that condition i booked the activa, as it was a birthday gift for my wife.It was a week passed but no RTO passing done. I gave a call to their office, I got a reply that I have some dues pending. They by mistakenly gave me some extra accessories or some on road assistance subscription for which i was asked to pay amount of Rs 600/-.Why should i pay for it when it was their mistake.? Surprisingly their reply was even worse that RTO passing will not be done until I Pay this amount.Mistakes happens, So I decided to let it go and pay for it and get the RTO passing done as the vehicle is of no use without the number.After two weeks passed, I still had no RTO passing done, When I call to enquire, they said I have to pay Rs 900/- for some other accessory that was given by mistake.What is this? Some sort of fraud to grab extra money.Now its almost a month passed and my still the RTO passing is not done.I am fed up and done with this nowPlease help me out here.There is no complaint number for that showroom.Showroom Phone no – [protected](02)

Have 2006 Honda Element. At 5, 000 miles had front rotors replaced; at 19, 000 miles had rear rotors re-surfaced, new pads. Since the car was 2 months out of warranty, I had to pay for the re-surfacing & pads $250. I wrote to Honda to complain, but they did not care. They refused my request for reimbursement. I won't buy another Honda. Who replaces & resurfaces rotors at 5, 000 & 19, 000 miles? All the Fords I owned never had this problem!

I make my payment 6 days before it is due, but yet they keep calling me telling me that my payment was late and when I pulled my bank account records giving her detail of my account being paid she hung up on me. This has gone on for about 6 months worth of late fees at 35.00 a piece. Even though I have documentation that the bill was paid on time.

sir i have purchase Honda Activa from Tanaya Automonile meerut. They promised me to provide RC within a week. Because of their negligence they have imposed penalty on mje.though i have completed all the requirement on the same day.

My car is under warranty and there is a problem that is causing the car to severely shake and cause a lot of noise upon braking.

It is not a problem with the brake pad, which, of course, is not under warranty, but rather with the brake drum itself.

Honda is refusing to pay for the repair.

Honda Motor unauthorized, forced and bad service.

On Saturday November 8th I took my car to the Paragon Honda service center to get a quote on a few things that I knew the car needed. They mentioned they were busy and would try to take a look at it. Later that day they called back giving me the most unreasonable quote I have ever heard about in my entire life. I told them specifically that I did NOT want them to do anything to the car. It simply wasn't worth it. I asked when I could pick it up and they told me they were about to close. I went Sunday morning, November 9th at 8:30 am to pick up the car. When I got there they charged me a ridiculous price and when I asked them why they said because I authorized a wheel alignment on the car. NO I DIDN'T. I had to pay them in order to get my car back. In addition to that the wheel alignment was done completely wrong. Now instead of the wheel tilting to the right side, it tilts to the left. They refuse to fix the car. I am now going to file a major complaint with every possible bureau in the state. "Customer Service is our priority" yeah right. I would never recommend this place to any customer and I will make it my personal business to go after them for what they did to me.

Honda Motor vehicle booked but not received

Hello Mr. Abhinandan Bhardwaj/ Honda Motors,

Its been more than 50 days[Booked on 02/09/2014] since I booked Honda Aviator Black colour with disc from YUG Honda Pune[Survey No 296/1/2/3, Aundh Hinjewadi Brts Road, Wakad, Sahara Chouk, Shedge Wasti, Pune - 411057].

I was informed initially that I will have to wait for 20 days for the Product and I was ok with it as it is my first Vehicle and I trust Honda as a brand. But when the waiting crossed 1 month, I submitted a complain at Honda website. Surprisingly I got a reply very soon and I got assured that HMSI will be able to help me but to my shock I didn't get any help.

I regularly visit Yug Honda after that and they offered me Mettalic red colour scooter and said the Black colour with disc is out of Production in the factory.

So I thought of calling Honda Motors directly, but the numbers mentioned in the mail are useless as I have been caliing since 20 days and no one has answered my call. I again visited the website and submitted multiple queries but there has been no reply and now I am thinking of cancelling my order. I will never buy any Honda product in FUTURE.

I am very sure no one from Honda will reply here as well still I am trying my luck.

Comments I have booked Aviator black with disc break since 2nd September 2104 and yet I am waiting for my Scooter.
