Honda Motor honda declared that they will not compensate the misconduct of honda service center nor panel workshop

Misconduct of honda service center @ jln ipoh kl / honda panel workshop tiong nam "leaving tissue paper inside the fuel pump casing causing blockage of fuel delivery from fuel tank thus causing car engine to stalled anytime during driving"

I bought a honda city vtec in 2007. my car has been sent for services under warranty in angkasa motor sdn. bhd. located at jalan ipoh k.l. since jan 2008.in 2 aug. 2009 I met a car accident and upon calling honda service hotline they arranged my car to be towed and repaired at their panel workshop tiong nam motor (m) sdn. bhd. located at segambut k.l.

My car was returned to me from tiong nam in mid oct'09. few days after the car was returned, I have complaint to the workshop that the car will "pull / choke" sometimes when I drive. the workshop has checked my car a few times when I brought back to them about the problem but everytime they inspect they cannot find what went wrong with my car and they just told me to continue driving maybe the car need more driving to make it smooth. the problem was initially not so serious/significant and only happened occationally so I did not pursue further. however, the problem became very serious on 23/4/10 (fri) when I drove on the highway from kl to johor. the car choked and auto stopped many times. some times the engine died off but still can start again some times the car just auto stopped but the engine didn't go off. I called the tiong nam workshop immediately when the incident happened but they told me that they can't do anything until they see the car and inspect it again. initial suspect the car overheated causing the car auto stop. the next day the car was back to normal again when I drove in town so I decided to drive back to kl to tiong nam again on 25/4 (sun) for them to check the car. the car again auto stopped many times and took me 2x longer hours to reach kl without aircon due to the suspect of overheated car. on monday 26/4/10 I brought the car to tiong nam and they have confirmed that the fuse / chip which connected to the cooling fan has broken / cracked (obviously was broken during 2009 aug accident) and needed to be changed. they changed the fuse/chip immediately and did some computer analysis and confirmed to me again that my car will not give me any more similar problem. however, the same problem happened again on 5/6/10 (sat) & 6/6/10 (sun) when I travelled on the highway (1st time I drove on the highway after the repair done on 26/4). on 6/6/10 after the car auto stopped a few time it totally died off at the highway and couldn't start anymore. I called the tiong nam workshop and this time also the insurance agent whom I bought my msig insurance policy from. msig has arranged together with tiong nam to tow my car from the highway (just passed melaka toll) back to kl tiong nam workshop.

Tiong nam was again not able to find out the problem until thursday (10/6) evening they called me and informed me that finally they found out the problem which was due to "tissue paper used to clean the car was left in the petrol tank". they claimed that they never repaired that part of the car before with the proof of their repair list approved by adjuster and they claimed that was mistake of the honda service centre when they service / change the fuel strainer in 28/2/2009. however, the angkasa motor at jalan ipoh where I always sent for car service (mr. tan hl the manager) denied it was their mistake and request for proof / evidence to show their mistakes. both parties denied they caused the mistake and nobody wanted to pay for the costs incurred for towing and repair.

My car was left unrepaired and not able to released to me until this morning! (total 23 days I lost my car). during this period, I have to call up many parties (insurance agent, insurance company, tiong nam, angkasa motor, honda, my honda car dealer... etc) to request them to settle the case asap but all the responses I got were "miss... please contact who and who on your case as this is not my problem..."

Complaints have made to the insurance company msig as well as honda hq via the only number that I can get [protected]. 3rd party adjuster sent by msig has confirmed the cause of the car broke down as above mentioned with photos attached. the report was sent to honda hq to handle the case between the dispute between the service center and the workshop of honda.

Honda hq customer service dept was really - suck! despite they did not provide prompt feedback on their "investigation" as what they have promised to do so, please read below the message they told to me on the phone when I have to call them yesterday again to follow up the status after they have been kept quite for a week :

... "miss.., angkasa motor has just repaired your car, but you have to look for the insurance company to pay for the towing fee and settle other costs incurred. on behalf of angkasa motor and honda hq we will not compensate you any thing on your lost of transport during this period nor your suffers of near accident car broke down on the highway as there's no proof that the tissue mistake was done by angkasa motor. and we will not respond on behalf of tiong nam (even though they are our appointed honda workshop and we sent your car to their workshop for repair in 2009). you have to do all the settlement by yourself!... if you like to complain this in the press feel free to do so we cannot do anything more about this case..." the customer service advisor's name is izzudin! what a lousy and unprofessional attitue that I will never expect him to be qualified in a customer service position but honda employed such a person to handle customer complaints!

I have requested to speak to the honda hq management but he refused to provide any names to me until I have to insist many times then he finally provided one name "mr. jahabarnisa - the head of customer communication centre" but at the same time he told me that mr. jahabarnisa is currently outstation and not contactable. I told him he really was pissing me off and I was really out of patient with this guy finally very reluctantly after he kept me holding for 5-10min. he gave me a lady's named izatul who is the assistant to mr. jahabarnisa. I requested him to transfer the line immediately but this was what he said : "oh, izatul is on the phone so I am not able to transfer the line to her now!"... my anger just gone up to the top! then I told him, ask izatul to return my call by today (28/6) after she put up the phone! I have confirmed with him my mobile number before I hang up.
But... until now (6pm 29/6) I still received no call from izatul!

This morning I have to go to the tiong nam workshop to get my car out of this workshop after I was told yesterday by the insurance company that this workshop will stop operation / close shop very soon. it was confirmed that all the mechanics will stop work tomorrow (I was very lucky I went today). since tiong nam will not release my car without the towing fee being fully paid, I have to settle the towing fee myself first in order to get my car out of the workshop. honda still refuse to settle the full amount of the tow charges (rm600 tow from melaka to kl tiong nam)

I am putting up this complaint to seek help from people who know the best and fastest way to get honda to compensate all my losses. they have to be responsible for the misconduct of their panels either the service center or the workshop. it's either one of these as nobody else has service / repair my car other then these two during the mentioned period.

First thing first, me and my boyf both went to the same honda service centre Jln ipoh @ kl. I advised my boyf to bring his car for inspection since the one near his place (cheras) has been closed down. However, they charged him a big bucks without solving the real problem which was the car is shaking whenever he start the car in the morning. He even left the car there for weeks but the technicians can never identify the problem! His father was so frustrated and sent to some other workshop outside, they can quickly identify the problem and get it fix... It said to be engine mounting problem, once they changed it, the car is no longer shaking now. So tell me what can this Honda provide even u're paying a big bucks! Secondly, I bring my car to service since mine was a new car and it's a second time service. I told them that the viper has a tick sound whenever it's moving slow. I was unable to collect my car at the same day before 5pm. I decided to collect it the next morning before I go to work. When I reached there, they told me that the cashier is not here yet, I have to WAIT! As for the viper problem, they said its normal to have the sound when the viper is moving slow; it doesn't have sound when the viper go faster -_____- they can't do anything to fix it without the sound. I understand that the sound is normal for evey viper, evey car. But why would the other cars won't have this sound yet my car must have it? Can't just do something to get it fix?!

Today i bought a Honda City Black Colour but it's body got some white dot on it and scratched.When i ask the saleman, he say that it's not contains polish and if feel not satisfaction, can paint again but not the original colour .So, can you give me an satisfactory answer about that as fast as possible or i will complain to Consumers Association.

Its about time for us to join force and put this kind of irresponsible junks out of business. Honda Motor sucking service

i have given my ride which met with an accident, at workshop on 9.6.10 and today is 29.6.10... and it has not been repaired... im freakingout with their service...

when asking them 4 the reason they are asking that the spare parts has not been yet discharged by the Delhi manufacture company

Honda Motor they sided with the dealer and refused a refund under warranty

We have a Honda 2007 Honda Pilot. Our air condition was not working well so we had it serviced because we were going out of town. We were told that if all it need to have done was it recharged was would be a cost envolved. They recharged the unit and stated it was fine. This was on done on April 30, 2010. We left on a 15 day vacation on May 7th, there was only one day over 80 before we left.

The air failed while we were in Georgia, with in approximately 14 days of the recharge. We got back and scheduled an appointment at our former Honda dealer (we will find a new one for serivce and will not purchase a Honda in the future as we had planned too). This time they found two pin size holes in our unit and replaced it under warranty, but refused refund the cost of the orginal recharge even though they saw their dye in the pin holes.

I called Honda America and they sided with the dealer and refused a refund under warranty.

Their used the excuse that it was almost a month between the two services visits, disregarding the fact that we were out of town and could not get right to the dealer when the unit failed.

My advice if you get your air service because it is not working well, run it like crazy in case they miss something, maybe they will honor their warranty with you!

Honda Motor not satisfied with product

Dear Sir

i would like to draw your kind attention that i purchased hero honda pleasure from Morani motors, Tonk road Jaipur on 7th July2009.i am facing the strating trouble from the date of purchase.I have registered the complain to the dealer about the defect . i was told the battery has to be replaced. i did not get any positive response from the dealer.

i do not understand the company which has brand name in the market, their dealers are not listening the customers properly. you are requested to look into this matter and instruct the dealer to ractify the problem as early as possible so the faith of the customers can be maintained.

Hoping for favourable response in this regard .

I will like to draw your attention again, i introduced a complain in your company on 25th June 2010 about Hero Honda pleasure purchased from Morani motors, Tonk road Jaipur on 7th July2009.Your being a reputative company we decided to buy your's product, but it did not satisfied us at all.It has never started itself, instead always require not a kick but kickS.A year has passed and we have not got it perfect even after many service and complains.IF This is you what about other's who also claim their product best.I hope this would be our last complain to you and we will soon get some good response from you.

Well, I too initially didn't expect this kind of service from a brand name called Hero Honda, I had bought a Pleasure, and from the initial days, the vehicle used to break down in the middle of the road, and now the engine has completely ceased and the dealer hasn't yet taken ownership of the issue. I really hope somebody from the Hero Honda Leadership team is paying heed to us frustrated customers.

Honda Motor motor problem - city 2009

I would like to show my disappointment feeling regarding the bad feed back I received from your side regarding my Honda City Car 2009
Details problem:
- after leaving the regular check from your company by one week "although my care was stopped 4 days from that week without work", my car temp becomes very height and after I go again to the company, the responsible engineer said that the car is very good and I can get the car back without any problem appears, after making trouble they told me the truth that the care have a hug problem in its motor and I have to pay the cost of the repairing!
I was shocked by these news, 3 days ago I am trying to contact the engineer but he didn’t want to answer me " I tried to contact him by another number and he answered!"

Please advice in how to get my car back with healthy status again "it is now one week in the company without any clear action taken!

Firstly I am really disappointed to write such email/complaint from the unacceptable service that I have received from your side, secondly let me introduce myself I am Ahmed Helmy a Honda Civic owner and working in Barclays Bank Egypt as System Engineer.

The problem I have is with your service center while I was doing my usual service inspection, which is the 100, 000 KM service, one of the reception engineer asked me in what I want to do with my car and I answered that all I need to do is the usual 100, 000 KM service and to check with left and right inner fender cover and the engine cover as well, despite the fact that all I found they did, was only the usual service and no one looked at the fenders cover or the engine cover while when I revert back to the reception engineer, he told me that the technicians checked the fenders and they did the required as per the policy which is if the normal holes still exist, they will put the clips on place, otherwise they cannot place another solution .

I took this comment as a committed rule and took my car going to my home parking to check with myself as if a drive my car on a speed over 80 kmph, the fenders will be broken .

I found that the clips are not in place and it can be placed normally to their holes as well as I did that with myself who is not working as a technician in Honda service center .

This totally unacceptable re the perceivable level of the service that I received, I am dealing with a multinational company not a local one.

Sub:- Complaint against poor service of Vahini Motors, Pallimukku, Kollam-10.

Sir,

I purchased one Honda Aviator scooter(Model Code: SCV110GA) on 13/05/2010 from Vahini Motors, Pallimukku, Kollam. It started showing problems with self-start after 2 weeks so I informed them about the problem. The service person from Vahini came to my home and I was told that the battery needs to be recharged.

I gave the vehicle for first service and recharging the battery on 17/06/10. The service persons told me that they would give the scooter back after recharging the battery and first service on the same day evening. I was asked to provide my phone number so that they can inform me when the vehicle is ready. But nobody called me and I had to call them back the next day afternoon inquiring the status of the service. They replied that the vehicle is ready for delivery. I asked them why didn't they inform me when it was ready and they replied that they just forgot to call me.

After the first service and battery recharge, the self-start problem was solved but the same problem recurred after a few days. I informed them about the issue and I was told to bring the vehicle to their show room for another recharge. I gave the scooter for second recharge on 22/06/10 at 9:30 AM and they asked me to come back at 5 PM to take the vehicle back.

I reached the service centre at 6 PM traveling 20 km but they simply told me to come next day since the scooter is not ready as the battery was showing problem even after the recharge. I became angry and asked them why didn't you inform me so that I could have avoided traveling around 20 km. This time also they repeated the same answer that somebody forgot to call the customer. Being a valuable customer of Honda, I heard the same excuse two times in a row.

Again, there was no update from them so I called them today(23/06/10). They told me that I would be updated soon. After a few hours, one Mr.Sunil from the service department called me and informed that the battery needs to be replaced. He asked me to come there to collect the battery and a letter for getting the battery replaced. I told him that I can't spent my money, time and effort for getting the battery replaced as its the responsibility of the dealer. But he keeps saying that they can't provide any further assistance for replacing the battery other than giving the letter for replacement.

I got pissed off with their poor support and service. I request you to take necessary actions to get my battery replaced and advise your dealer not to behave like this to the valuable customers of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.

I am having the same problem

I think Honda should fix this problem.

The battery is getting dischagre when I drive with head and tail lamps on during night.

the next morning I have to start it with kicks.

After first service the problem got solved but after 4 days the problem again started.

we badly need the fix from honda.

Honda Motor abnormal sound from motorcycle engine

Dear sir,
I have purchased a honda bike model shine from modern motor on dated 25-06 — 2009. chassis no - me4jc366f98276582 & engine no - jc36e9423250. during running the bike, I was felt that abnormal sound was coming from engine. I have compliant about this problem to dealer and he accepted and told me it was due to misalignment of its tabbits. during first service they checked and replaced the clutch plate outer gear. but problem was still there. after almost 7 days, again I was gone to dealer workshop and complaint the problem was still persisting. they checked and accepted the problem and replaced again clutch plate outer gears (big and small both). at the same time the rajasthan site in charge of honda mr. amol tiwari was also present there I was compliant him but he did not hear about the problem and tell me bike was ok and I don’t want to talk and altercation with you. I think this is not a way to deal with customer. again three times I was complaint for same problem, they replaced some other part but problem is same. please take of this matter seriously and take necessary action because now I have loose my patient other wise I will come through consumer court. I have spent one year for this matter. I am unhappy to purchase a honda bike. again I am requested to you please take this matter seriously and take necessary action.

Honda Motor manufacturing defect

Whenever the motorcycle passes through even a small pit the bolt fitted in the Pillion Foot Rest at the left side touches the body frame. As a result a cut mark has been made/appeared at the frame and at the same time a crack has appeared in the Pillion Foot Rest. This is major problem in the model. My wife presented me the HERO HONDA Achiever model on 21/02/06 with with great passion and with the intension that she is presenting the No.1 motorcycle of the India, but it has become a great headache to me as well as to my family

The clear coat on my 2002 Honda Accord LX is peeling on the roof, hood & trunk. After much research it looks as this is a common problem for Honda. I'm very saddened that they aren't taking action to resolve it.

Google Henry COffeen III, Honda of Burleson, COffeen Management before buying a new or used honda or an extended warranty. Rip Off Scam Alert. Fraud in Burleson!
Back in August, Honda announced that it would fix a software flaw that supposedly caused batteries in the Civic Hybrid to lose their effectiveness sooner than expected. The flaw affected all 2006 through 2008 Civic Hybrids sold in the U.S. At that time, Honda issued a technical service bulletin asking owners to bring the affected vehicles in for some software reprogramming that limited the battery's charge and discharge levels and reduced the vehicle's electric assist for the sake of saving that precious NiMH pack. Well, Civic Hybrid owners rushed in, had Honda "fix" the issue and drove off.

Now that these Civic Hybrid drivers have racked up some miles in their "fixed" vehicles, more problems have popped up and complaints are pouring in. One particularly detailed story posted on the CarSpace social network captures the essence of the problem:
I had filed complaints with the BBB (on the dealer and against American Honda) and with the NHTSA citing safety issues when the IMA failed to assist and the car was running on the underpowered four-cylinder engine. Finally, when the dealer wanted to get me off his back, he made me a good offer. I'm sorry that so many people are so dissatisfied and frustrated with their vehicle. I feel your pain. I don't get 40 MPG now, but there is less stress in my life.
And another similar complaint posted on CarSpace reads like this:
I have an IMA battery discharging at least once a day and the software update has done nothing positive. My plan is to take the dealer to small claims court to force Honda to give me a new IMA battery if nothing happens, but I would prefer to get a non-hybrid Civic instead. My view is the Civic Hybrid is flawed and I don't really want to deal with it even if I get new IMA batteries. The engine is underpowered, the IMA batteries are prone to fail early, and we are at the mercy of Honda's software updates

07/28/2011 Put down payment on the car and was advise allow 20 days for the perm. plates to come in.

08/03/2011 passenger window got stuck down and wouldnt roll up until i manually pulled it up.

08/04/2011 The outside driver door lock stop working which meant my doors couldnt lock at all. Contacted the carlot and was told to drop off the car anytime at 9am during weekdays which i work

08/08/2011 The car ran hot and i could see the radiator fan was not working. They informed them that it did an they instructed me to drop it off at the carlot next day for couple hours to get the locks and window fixed

08/09/2011 dropped car off an call later that day to see if had been fixed, which i did and never got an answer or a returned call.

08/10/2011 After still not hearing from the company and trying several more attempts to call. I Went to the carlot at 3 pm adn was told the car would be ready in 1 hour and they would call me. After 3 hours pass and no phone call, i called the fax machine and was told by an employee that the car wont be ready til 12 noon nect day and call the manager's cell which i was given at the time.

08/11/2011 At 12 noon i called the managers cell serveral times along with the land line to the carlot and no answer. About 2 hours later i reached someone which then was told it be ready after 3 pm. After picking the car up at 530 pm the locks were still not working on the two front doors. Mechanic advised he still needed a part to fix them which he had to order. I was advised the mechanic replaced sensors on the radiiator to stop the over heating. as i started the vehicle an drove off the lot the car was making a mysterious noise. At that time i called the carlot back and advised them of the new problem and was told the mechanic didnt go under the hood and the noise was already on the car. & to keep driving the car and the noise would go away.

08/12/2011 After driving home from work the car ran hot again in which i called Little Texas Autos to inform them about the problem that they so called resolved in the past 3 days that they kept the car. They advied me to bring the car next day to drop it of to have the mechanic look at the problem. I also advised them the mechanic still didnt fix the radiator fan.

08/13/2011 After taking the car to the carlot to be dropped off, i was advised to call back in 2 hours to find out what the problem was. I called back as instructed and was told the head gasket was cracked and they were fixing the crack with sealant and would be ready monday. However, if the sealant didnt fix the crack it would be uo to the management to decide if i would be responsible for the blown head gasket.

08/15-8/19/2011 the car would no longer start unless irecievd a jump from another car. &the car would stop at any givn time after traveling 10 mins. During this time ikept asking about the license plates which iwas avised stillo wasnt in yet.

8/20/2011 took car to a proffesional shop and was advised that the car was in terrible condition, The headgasket look like it had been blown for a while. And that the carlot had tried to patch the head gasket up a couple times, the radiator was bad and had a busted hose.

Honda Customer Relations - what a joke, Not helpful at all! I was inquiring if any other complaints about "checking" of black paint had been filed on the Civic (2006). I was told that they wouldn't tell me, only that there hadn't been any Bulletins. When asked if I could watch for anything on the website - I was told they didn't have one!?

I had also asked if there was anything I could do to stop it; they told me that they wouldn't know and that was up to the dealer to discuss with me. When I said the dealer had told me to call them, he said, "I don't know why they would do that, you need to talk with the dealer!"

I was so unimpressed I told him how un-helpful he was and hung up. Now, I want to officially lodge a complaint and can't find anywhere online to do that. I quess they don't really want to hear it; but trust me, they will hear it!

i bought this 03' crv used in sept. '06 . it has been nothing but a pain. i carried it in to be checked for a rattling in it. they replaced the tires & fixed a handle that was falling off due to a lost screw. after that air conditioner locked up & had to be repaired. the day i drove it home it ran hot & had to add water which we discovered was bone dry. i should had seen the red flag on this car. it was not getting the gas mileage that it should. it was using like a quarter tank to go 7 miles. i went back to ask them to buy the car back & they laughed at me basically. i told them something was not right with this car & did not appreciate being treated like a stupid old woman. they gave me every excuse not to take it back from my credit to nothing was wrong with it. my 3, 000 was good enough to sell me the car. today i was checking into a nissan & found out about the crv i was sold. it had been wrecked which damaged the frame& apron been repaired. i have also replaced a battery(understandabl). i replaced the starter(bolts was too loose on it). while it was under warranty my son-in-law carried it in & said they replaced power steering pump & timing belt. i had a '95 or '97 before this one which i was very happy with. but i had to sell it because of a heart attack & could not afford to make the payments. i've also had a '88 prelude which i loved & could kick myself for trading it. i do not want another crv & will not recommend honda mall of ga. to anyone even my worst enemy. i will not take this car back to them for any repair since i do not trust them. my name is brenda stanley & my phone number is [protected] if you need to call. email is sarggranny@bellsouth.net

Honda Motor abnormal sound from engine

Dear sir,

I have purchased a honda bike model shine from modern motor on dated 25-06 — 2009. Chassis no - me4jc366f98276582 & engine no - jc36e9423250. During running the bike, I was felt that abnormal sound was coming from engine. I have compliant about this problem to dealer and he accepted and told me it was due to misalignment of its tabbits. During first service they checked and replaced the clutch plate outer gear. But problem was still there. After almost 7 days, again I was gone to dealer workshop and complaint the problem was still persisting. They checked and accepted the problem and replaced again clutch plate outer gears (big and small both). At the same time the rajasthan site in charge of honda mr. Amol tiwari was also present there I was compliant him but he did not hear about the problem and tell me bike was ok and I don’t want to talk and altercation with you. I think this is not a way to deal with customer. Again three times I was complaint for same problem, they replaced some other part but problem is same. Please take of this matter seriously and take necessary action because now I have loose my patient other wise I will come through consumer court. I have spent one year for this matter. I am unhappy to purchase a honda bike. Again I am requested to you please take this matter seriously and take necessary action.

Honda Motor internal problem

Dear sir,

I have purchased the hero honda pleasure on dt. 19/10/2009, with engine no. Jf16ea9gh07647, and chasis no. Mbljf16ec9gh08524 respectively.

But I am regularly facing the problem while riding this scooter:

Everytime stopped inbetween while riding on road, getting rude sound above 40 speed & stops while riding, also not giving good mileage. Using more oil too.

Now it was run on 6022 km. Where we faced problem & rushed into the service centre where they found the block piston kit, rocker arm 2 and cam shaft 1 in damage condition.

Hence I want to replace the same into new, so that it should not create more problem in future.

Hope you will do the needful at earliest.

Honda Motor navigation system

Latest update for Honda Navigation system (2010 Navteq) does no contain highway construction that is at least 2 years old. Company admits that the 2010 disk has 2008 data. Don't spend the $180. You will not be able to re-install your old disk, without help from the dealer. Honda did agree to reimbursement if you send the disk back.

own an 2010 accord w/ nav. little usage of nav. am also getting error message . contacted alpine and was told they would cure all my problems if I sent them the dvd unit in trunk for a mere $358. I understand that sometimes repairs can cost a lot because there is labor costs involved. I figured I could probably buy a brand new unit for maybe a little more ! WRONG --they told me the cost of new was around $2500 ! boy do they have a good gimmick going! don't waste your money on the repair and buy yourself a portable gps for less than the repair cost ($350) . they are more user friendly, more up to date, and give you FREE lifetime updates

I just got the new 2011 navigation "upgrade" for $200. WHAT A SCAM! There is absolutely NOTHING about it that is updated (perhaps they added a new road in Nebraska or something). The LOW quality graphics and menu interface are the exact same as the previous version. WHAT A WASTE OF $200!

I paid over $3000 for the navigation system package on my 2010 Honda CRV, and the mapping information is very out-of-date. The DVD says 2008, but I think it is older than that, at least 3 -5 years old. The buyer needs to be told up front that the navigation system is out of date before paying this kind of money. My stand-alone Nuvi Garmin for which I paid $300 was much superior. I can't even type in some street numbers that have been added in the last three years, it doesn't recognize state highways that were four-laned at least 5 years ago, has taken me off of state highways onto pig trails, etc. Honda told me to contact Alpine. Alpine told me I could buy an update (September 2009), but I refuse to put out that kind of money on a new vehicle. Consumer Reports needs to mention this issue when rating cars.

Unfortunately, I spent the $180(which I should have just bought a Garmin and saved money) and the update didn't even have data that was over 2 years ago...When I called, they said I should have checked their website to make sure the address was in their system. How am I suppose to know where I am going ahead of time... that is why I have a GPS. Then they try to tell me they personally check the info, so it is delayed...I called BS...since it still tries to send me down a dead end road for the last 6 years...

I wish the media would put the info out on this scam...selling old info as an update...FRAUD!

Honda Motor faulty parts and worst after sales services

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have purchased Honda Aviator on 06-03-2009 from JSP Automotive, 5-7-73/1, Kukatpally, Opp. Metro, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh-500072.I have been complaining of couple of problem regarding the bike from 2nd service onwards.
The problems were rectified during the servicing and the problem used to occur again after 2-3 weeks after the servicing. In the 3rd service (07/09/2009), I have complained about the faulty battery.
At the time it was rejected saying battery is working fine and the problem was due to dust in the spark plug. I faced the same problem with the battery again and in the 4rth service [protected]) it was sent to warranty to the Exide dealer. The dealer instead of replacing the battery, he has rectified and sent it back. Initially it was working fine for 1 month and again the problem occurred with the battery. The problem was rectified saying the spark plug and filter needs to be replaced on 05-02-2010.As usual it works fine for 1 month and for past 2 weeks I am facing the problem with the battery again. Now JSP service center people are insisting to replace the battery saying it is not in warranty even though I have been complaining of the faulty battery from the beginning.
More over as the owner's manual issued to me at the time of purchase, the battery installed inside is of made AMCO-7A9398996 and I wasn't issued the battery warranty.
I am surprised to see, how the battery got changed to Exide after the purchase. The JSP sales team claims that the entry was by mistake and the Exide battery itself was installed at the time of purchase.
I am disappointed with the type of service I am receiving from the JSP Auto. Below are the problems I have been repeatedly facing with the bike
1. Faulty battery from the 3rd service onwards
2. Bike pulling back been 30-40 kmph speed
I was lucky enough to escape from the major accidents in the middle of heavy traffics in busy signals due to the above problems with the bike
I got all the servicing done at JSP Automotive. I request you to take necessary action and do the needful. Below are the required details

i bought honda aviator for my wife on 11/08/2009 from sub dealer (chamunda motors jhunjhunu) of thar automobiles sikar.owners of chamunda motors are good for nothing, how can a company like honda can give away such a responsible job to such unresponsible persons .i had served in merchant navy and shipped honda cars all over the world and have come across lot of japanese people.they are really very responsible towards their work.how they managed to make such a mistake?
i had gone to workshop for two probles and both of them remain unresolved.
a)front pannel is making continuous sound.
b)protective grill they have fixed is of very very poor quality.i told them it doesn't seem to be from company.their answer was we know better.
overall behaviour was unworthy of a representative of acompany like honda.

Honda Motor communication with the customer-hopeless in seetharam motors, raichur

I and my wife visited the Seetharam show room Raichur on 11.05.2010 to get the Ist service for the Herohonda CBZ extreme bike purchased 1 1/2 month back. Also to provide right side mirror which broke . Morning when it was given for service, mechanic has agreed to provide the mirror and informed to collect in the evening. When both of us went to collect the bike they told us that there is no stock of mirror. When enquired about the duration they need to supply, they spoke irrelevantly without curtasy. At least pleasing reply to the customer telling, ' you dont worry we will take immediate action to get one and will inform you soon for providing' could have given. When we are residing in such a remote place we have to depend on the dealer only. If they dont have patience to deal with the customer we feel, a sorry state of affair with the advance Hero honda reputation.
We hope this matter shall be dealt with the concerned and advice them to be curtosy to discuss with the customer properly.
When they dont attend properly with the executives what would be the fate of the other customers!
We understand because Hero Honda has its name unchallanged by any other bikes, immaterial of the customer care, people are crazy in buying though them.

my wife and i purchased the "Sensation" cruise ship for a 4 day Bahama cruise scheduled for 5-9-2010. We purchased an upgrade to an inside cabin for an ocean view state room. When we boarded the ship we were told that we must take an inside cabin. My wife has claustraphobia and therefore we could not stay aboard as there were no other staterooms available. I had gone to servicing my motorcycle to the nearby Authorised herohonda servive center, Auto needs, Gurgaon on dt.26-04-10. When the person was serciving my bike i was seeing that he was draining petrol from my bike for 5 minutes. When i reached there and asked he said that due to shortage of oil for filter washing he was draining petrol. Then I asked the supervisor, when he asked the fitter he also replied the same. Then the fitter behaved me rudely & made ready the bile in 2 minutes. When I asked the servicing was complete, he replied yes. Then i brought my bike. I am seeing that my bike showing mileage 30km/hr & I am observing the engine hunting sound, causing acceletor playing more. I am very depressed after the servicing. Please advise me what to do?

Honda Motor deficiency in product

I bought a Hero Honda Splendor Plus Motorcycle from Jasodha Auto Gurgaon.From the first 2-3 days, Following problems started
1.Fire Pushing Problem
2.tapit problem
3.chain set problem'
4.shocker problem
5.bike automatically offs
I visited the Jasodha Auto and explained them the whole problem, they said we'll fix all your problems, they took the bike and they hardly took 15 mins in the service.when they gave back the bike to me said that all yours problems had been fixed.on the very day the abovementioned problems started again.I visited next day again and stated every thing.they assured me to fix the problems and did some work on my bike and returned to me . but the same problems accured again .
I have written to HeroHonda.com many times but no one has contacted me yet.I am very frustrated .
