HGTV - free gift subscription with renewal

Hi,

I received an "offer" from hgtv magazine stating the above if I renewed my subscription now.

So, the thing is my subscription ends in june of 2016 so this is a bit premature.

The cost would be $24.00 for both. A subscription is $19.99 or something like that... So... Why so early and why the lie that the second subscription is "free"?

I am not sure of the exact date of arrival however you can use todays date if you choose.

I think this website cannot be trusted. It keeps asking for the same information over and over and requiring certain items that are not pertinent

This appears to be some sort of funky site...Not sure I trust it with the information that is being requested repeatedly.
