I also bought a set of Hampton Bay solar landscape lanterns model # 585 028 at Home Depot and both worked for about a week or so and now one does not. I emailed customer service and never received response-I saved my receipt and will now return them to Home Depot even thought it says not to.
We purchased sku# 555-208 model#79778 at Home Depot also and the solar panel will not work or charge. It is a solar panel with 3 flood lights attached.
I have replaced the batteries and nothing happened.

We called to complain they said the part was on backorder and it may take 6-8 weeks to get it.
I still have not received them and will never buy their products again. I am going to Home Depot and get my money back and let them deal with these people.
