Dear Mr. and Mrs. Eisler:
First, I wish to say I am deeply saddened you have taken offense at our terminating your daughter's enrollment at our school. As our website states, I have been a Montessori educator for more than 30 years.

At Ponderosa Montessori, the education, health and safety of our students are and will always be our primary concern. My staff and I have worked very hard with Ansley to make her preschool experience a pleasurable one. However, as you know, we have had one disciplinary problem after another with Ansley since her enrollment in our program last year.

My staff and I have had numerous conversations with you about Ansleys defiant and destructive behavior. You have been told many times Ansley was not following our code of conduct. When children repeatedly misbehave they naturally jeopardize the health and safety of fellow students.

Ansley began her enrollment in May 2012. We typically afford new students a 3 6 month adjustment period. However, by October 2012 Ansley was still unable to follow classroom rules and adult direction. Ansley repeatedly destroyed her own school work and the school work of fellow students. Ansley tore up books, chewed up pencils, wrote on the walls, tables, and chairs and repeatedly damaged expensive Montessori materials. It was at that time we began documenting her acts of misconduct and notifying you.

In October, I personally spoke with you about Ansley's misconduct. Your response was you had ADD as a child, so maybe Ansley has a little of what (you) had. At that time you gave your verbal permission for us to record Ansley's misconduct so you could gain a better understanding of the nature of our complaints.

That same month, Ansley took a crayon and marked up her chest so aggressively that bruising occurred. We were video graphing the serious incident just as Sarah arrived. Please note Ansley is on record harming herself. Your wife Sarah can be heard on the tape talking to Ansley as she admitted abusing herself in class.

On October 30, 2012, while seated at the snack table with fellow students, Ansley spit on the table and smeared her spit all across the table with her hands. As a result, all students had to be moved from the table and the table sanitized. At first, Ansley blamed the unsanitary incident on a fellow student. Everyone saw her smear the spit. When asked again she admitted to the incident. This admission was also recorded.

Later that same day, Ansley intentionally dumped her entire lunch plate on the carpeted floor. At pickup that day, I explained to your wife Sarah that Ansley's behavior is far beyond the average age-appropriate naughtiness; that Ansley's incessant refusal to follow adult instructions, her frequent temper tantrums, and her deliberate attempts to upset and harm other students were all classic signs of Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I gave Sarah an ODD informational printout. Sarah signed the incident form and acknowledgement of receipt of the printout.

On November 7, Ansley scratched one student on the leg.
During playtime on the same day, Ansley picked up a wood chip and scratched a fellow student on the arm. I have written reports on file from both students outlining their injuries.

At pickup that day while Sarah was telling Ansley she should not scratch fellow students or destroy their work, Ansley stood on the rug and peed right in front of your wife. Your online review of our school states: "She had a few (2-3) potty accidents where she peed while crying. Our interpretation was that this was her losing control while emotional. Their take was that it was somehow intentional, and I quote "jeopardizes the health and safety of other students".

However, when my daughter later talked to you about the peeing-in-front-of-your wife incident, you admitted that when placed in timeout at home Ansley urinates on herself out of defiance. The school environment is not the place for a student to become emotional thereby losing control and urinating on themselves in response to being re-directed in there misconduct.

On November 20, 2012, we called Sarah at work and requested she come take Ansley home for the day because Ansley went into the bathroom, defecated and then smeared feces on the bathroom walls, floor and step stool. (We have photographic documentation of this incident.) Your wife's response to this incident was Well, that's normal. All kids play in their poop.

On January 15, 2013 Sarah signed a disciplinary form because Ansley was cited for spitting on other children.

That same day at evening pickup Ansley sat in her chair and urinated on herself as soon as her mother entered into the classroom to pick her up. She then threw a tantrum and your wife had to forcibly remove her to take her home. On January 22, 2013 shortly after Sarah dropped her off in the morning, Ansley sat in her chair and urinated on herself again. Sarah had just left the doorway. We called her on the phone and asked her to return to the school. Sarah said Ansley was upset that morning and did not want to come to school because she wanted to stay home and play dress up. Ansley’s pattern and habit of urination is no accident. And contrary to your review assertion: intentionally urinating on a carpeted learning environment does indeed pose a health and safety hazard for other students. The carpeted Montessori classroom is no place for a child who repeatedly urinates in the learning environment because she cannot have her way.

On January 23, 2013, while in the bathroom, Ansley tore the metal towel rack from the bathroom wall. The rack was so badly twisted it was rendered unusable. Photos of the damage were sent to you to as notice payment would be required from you for the cost of replacement and installation of a new towel rack. (We have video documentation of Ansley admitting to destroying the towel rack.)

Based on Ansley’s prior history of spitting on, poking, hitting and scratching students with foreign objects, the damaged metal rack posed an immediate danger to the health and safety of our students. She could have easily poked another student's eye out.

So, it is for all of the above referenced reasons (and others that are too numerous to mention) that Ansley’s enrollment at Ponderosa Montessori was terminated by me on Wednesday, January 23, 2013.

We did not address the towel rack incident with you at pickup on January 23, 2013, because you were intent on discussing other matters. Yet, we clearly told you we would telephone you later that same evening after you calmed down. When we called Sarah and you a short time later, neither of you answered the phone. Hence, the incident notification and notice of dismissal via email. Please rest assured my staff and I did everything possible to help Ansley acclimate to our Montessori environment. And despite her outrageously poor conduct we opted to keep her in our care longer than her conduct warranted because we saw her potential and we hoped the best for her. Under Ansley’s particular set of circumstances, the health and safety of all other students made your daughter’s immediate dismissal prudently necessary. Regarding your claims that I prematurely reported Ansley’s missing folder to the police department: As I explained to you on January 23, 2013, Ansley’s folder not only contained her confidential registration information, but confidential disciplinary reports, photos of Ansley (from 11/20/12 when she smeared feces all over the bathroom) both Sarah’s and your personal information, including places of employment, banking information, copies of your personal checks, and your social security number. (Did you forget I recently filled out tax information for you? Your tax form contained your social security number.) My immediate report to the police was a precautionary measure to protect you from identity theft. Your assertion that my daughter and I “cross-examined” you is untrue. Your statement that officer Matthews instructed you to “return the folder immediately” is a misrepresentation of truth. I heard his conversation with you when I was at the station filing the report. He asked if you had “taken the folder by accident.” I know the folder was clearly labeled with Ansley's name. The folder was left in a personnel area that parents do not normally have access to. Therefore any removal of the folder would not have been an honest mistake. Your subsequent actions have made it very clear you have issues with honesty and integrity. You fraudulently created a Ponderosa Montessori email address and illegally posed as the owner of Ponderosa Montessori to create a YELP business page in the name of my school. You then accessed your personal YELP profile to register an inaccurate, libelous and defamatory 1-star review of my school. You also created an unauthorized link to my website and posted unauthorized photos of my school interior. You have published the same inaccurate and defamatory review on other consumer websites. Your actions hold you open to being sued for fraud, defamation and libel. I am very sorry you chose to end our business relationship on such a maliciously vengeful and sour note. My staff and I sincerely wish the best for Ansley, Sarah and you. Sincerely

Dear Mrs King -

I’m writing because I continue to get automated updates notifications from your various sites bearing my name. My mailbox is brimming with over 300, nearly 100 from 2017. It’s been almost 5 years since our original quarrel, I think it is time to close the book on this saga and move on.

I’ve generally remained silent while you have launched as many as 8 separate websites aimed at defaming me. I can understand it is driven by anger and resentment over what you feel was unfair treatment in my yelp review. Perhaps it’s time to ask yourself what you are trying to achieve.

Maria Montessori was a thoughtful, graceful, and well-spoken educator. Many of your former students remember you this way as well. Why tarnish the legacy of Ponderosa Montessori with deranged essays about a long forgotten slight years later? While intended to damage me, they instead make you look like a psychopath. Surely you see the irony in accusing me of bullying while spending hundreds of hours over years crafting websites to smear my name?

Eon, I no longer feel anger toward you, only sadness. Please let go of this vendetta for your own health. You don’t even have to forgive me. Just forget me, as I have forgotten you. At this point, I would even be happy to remove my original review if you were to remove all of your sites and these false complaints. Until then it’s helpful context for those who find your pages and wonder how this all started.

I knew you once as a good person, you can still be remembered that way.

Wishing you well,

-Hamish

Dear Mr. Eisler:

I have been made aware of your December 19th, 2017 update to this website.

I’m disappointed that you continue to use terms such as “deranged, ” “psychopath, ” “bullying” and “vendetta” when referring to me and that you continue to falsely accuse me of “crafting websites to smear (your) name.” I’m saddened you have not yet learned there’s no value in name calling.

Your recent comment refers to my online rebuttals as “false complaints.” This statement leads me to believe you’re still in denial about the damage you intentionally caused to the reputations of my former employees, my school and me. Not to mention the upset you attempted to cause between my family members. You claim to want peace. However, your words prove otherwise.

Do you not remember the following harassing and defamatory acts on your part?
1. You falsely accused me of “using special straps to restrain kids in their chairs” and falsely stated my school had a “videotaping policy.”
2. You filed a formal complaint with the Child Care Licensing board whereby you repeated these same vile lies.
3. You falsely stated law enforcement rallied on your behalf and the police suggested you get a restraining order against me.
4. You trolled the internet to locate unrelated private information about my family and then stalked my daughter and created a Google link to her Facebook page.
5. You called my dedicated and hard-working employees “fake” and “imaginary.”
6. You posted a public “WARNING” about my school and harassed Yelp reviewers who gave Ponderosa Montessori favorable reviews.
7. The list could go on and on.

Your recent comment also mentions my website updates. You give the false impression I’ve spent “hundreds of hours over years crafting websites to smear (your) name.” And you once again misrepresent the truth by stating I have had 8 websites. Surely you realize I communicate with my former students and their parents via my websites.

If you’re bothered by the fact you receive an automatic update every time I resize a photo, change an adjective or replace a semicolon with a comma: perhaps you should turn off your website monitoring software. This simple act would prevent your email from being inundated with notifications about changes being made to any one of my three websites.

I repeat the same admonition I forwarded to your attorney: My websites will continue serving as a means of rebuttal until you stop using consumer sites (including this one) as a forum for misrepresentation and defamation. I apologize that speaking out in defence of my school, employees, family and friends makes me “look like a psychopath.” I have no control over what others think of me.

In the meantime, I trust you will put forth a more diligent effort to remove all of your defamatory comments from the internet. When all comments are removed: I will gladly park my websites.

Sincerely,
(Mrs.) King

My 5 Year Cyber Battle with Hamish Eisler and His Socially Abusive Alter Ego

Visit the above referenced link if you have more than a passing interest in the Hamish Eisler comments originally posted on this site. As the former owner of Ponderosa Montessori School: I take responsibility for the posting of the original letter. “Respondeat Superior!” I’ve made multiple requests to have the letter removed and the entire column closed. But, as recently as March 2017, my requests have been denied because I no longer have access to the documentation required by the site administrator. It appears that as long as the column is active, Hamish Eisler will use it as a platform for defamation. It’s unconscionable that he believes he can post untruthful and disparaging information about others, but when honest rebuttals are made: he fires back with bogus “website” screenshots and mischaracterizations of demonism. If you have a personal or professional need to know the truth, please visit http://www.internetbullies.org. The police have advised that I get a restraining order against him. Unlike Hamish Eisler's false claims regarding a restraining order against me, proof of my statement can be viewed at www.internetbullies.org.

Sigh... Thanks for helping make my point, Eon. You expect people to believe that a parent went searching 4 years later, stumbled on this site at 2AM and took the trouble to create a profile to comment, then again 30 minutes later? I have no doubt that Mrs Padfield is a real person and I'm sure she would be horrified that you are using her as a sockpuppet to spread your own cruel commentary. Maybe you are aware that the employee roster is a part of your public file? I've attached below.

Please stop embarrassing yourself and "let this matter rest", as you and "Senior Justice" both like to say.

Post Script,
I'm a paralegal with the Senior Justice League. Hamish Eisler falsely asserts Mrs. Padfield's picture is a Getty Images stock photo. The above photo is an actual picture of Mrs. King's former classroom assistant who was listed on Ponderosa Montessori's State of California child care roster. I interacted with Mirs. Padifield on a daily basis. It's been years now since this incident happened. Mr. Eisler needs to let these matters rest.

I agree with the initial complaint against Mr. Eisler's child. My son attended Ponderosa Montessori at that time. My son always complained about Mr. Eisler's daughter. Mrs. King and her staff did all that they could to help his daughter get along with the other children but every day was an up hill battle. Teachers are educators not disciplinarians. Parents need to train their children at home and not expect the school to work miracles. Mr. Eisler's point of view makes no sense. Day care centers and private schools work hard to maintain clients. If a business terminates a student...there must be a good reason. In this particular case, I know first hand that there was. Mrs. King is retired now. We were all very sad to see her go. She ended her long career with a full student body and many grateful parents. She is greatly missed. She was a wonderful and loving instructor.

Someone asked me about this recently and given its clickbait title when you search my name I thought I’d revisit it.

Regrettably this is the fallout from a long battle that started with a simple misunderstanding and escalated to the point where this woman just wanted revenge and it didn’t matter who she took down with me.

We were fortunate to have support from the daycare board and local police as well as our friends and family but it was still a traumatic experience for us to see how ugly it could get and how quickly.

The link above has expired but the unfolding saga was chronicled in some detail here:

https://www.yelp.com/biz/ponderosa-montessori-school-south-san-francisco-4?hrid=66MEBhz1vABNRzSKR3Wrvw

For the most part we’ve avoided engaging in the public battle because really it’s our kids who lose. We have two now and with our growing experience I stand by my perspective that nobody should see malice in the eyes of a 2.5 year old still in wonder of the world.

I don’t worry about what this page means to those who know me or our family. To those who have not met me, I invite you to look a level deeper at the messenger. I don’t revel in disparaging her, and she is not without her supporters. But in her desperation to defend her business she crossed the lines of decency and honesty. She still maintains multiple sites focused on demonizing me and my daughter, which were much more extensive and egregious prior to her citations by the daycare board. You may also note that one of those websites is the same one where she taunts us with “We get the last laugh” as documented in my screenshot provided above. Through this process she also created a number of fictitious accounts including her “assistant” above which was initially linked to a Getty Images stock photo, as well as several Yelp accounts that were banned. The text she tries to attribute to others is all her own.

We’ve been fortunate to put this mostly behind us. The school has since closed. Mrs King’s daughter contacted us a few months after the incident to apologize for her mother’s continuing behavior. My daughter has been unaffected and her younger sister is in preschool with a loving and supportive staff. When they are old enough to find this, hopefully they’ll understand that their silly, silly dad always has their backs.

If nothing else let this be a reminder that everything lasts forever on the internet… behave yourselves. :)

For several months in 2013, Eon King launched a campaign of hostility against me and my family in retaliation for a negative yelp review (http://goo.gl/nqP16t).

http://law.onecle.com/california/health/1596.857.html (part b)

(b) No child day care facility shall discriminate or retaliate
against any child or parent or guardian on the basis or for the
reason that the parent or guardian has exercised his or her right
under this section to inspect the facility or has lodged a complaint
with the department against a facility.

We brought this to the attention of the licensing board who issued multiple citations. We spoke with the police who suggested we obtain a restraining order against her. We spoke to legal representation. Yelp removed the confidential and defamatory information posted by Eon King.

Censored by more level heads, she created her own websites to taunt and bully us. And finally I find myself here, ironically defending myself from HER slander, on a board designed for complaints against businesses.

Her deflecting excuses about a fictitious assistant hardly warrant a response. Anyone is free to contact me via Yelp message if they would like to see an archived catalog of the various public postings she has made with respect to me and my family.

As the owner of Ponderosa Montessori: My professional dealings with Hamish Eisler ended 2 years ago. However, as recently as October 2014, I was informed Hamish is still using the internet to contact parents of currently enrolled students to dissuade them from continued enrollment.

This Complaints Board posting was a January 2013, private letter to the Eislers. It was posted in response to the defamatory online postings Hamish Eisler initiated about my school. The former employee who made the posting did not know it would be available for public reading.. I've made multiple requests to Complaints Board to remove the posting. They informed me they DO NOT REMOVE COMPLAINTS. This is their response.
