Gulf Coast Western
This will be short and too the point. My Father invested over 700k back in 2014 and the return was around 10% for two years...he then lost everything else.
Run as far and as fast as you can...why this company is allowed to continue I have no clue. If only this information would of been available to him at the time would of saved a lot of heartache and a lifetime of savings.

GCW Dual Creek and Barataria Projects
They provided a hard sell promising good returns and never produced anything but requests for more money. The project had a new recompletion on August 13, 2019 to allow us to reinvest in the project and to my knowledge nothing ever happened to the well. I don't know if it was bad luck in the field or a roos to have people depart with their hard earned money, from what I have seen from others, none of GCW's projects have been fruitful for their J.V. partners.
Desired outcome: return of all monies
Thank you everyone of these reviews. My name recently must have come up on their marketing lists. I received a call from BH who asked me about my interest in Oil Well etc. I said I had none and then pitched me their $50K will turn into $300K in 7 yrs and the $50K is tax deductable. He then started to ask several very personal questions on my financial position / if I paid the IRS this year etc etc. I agreed to get their information but after 24 hrs and reviewing several posts, I called him back and said do not send the information. He went into the pitch again and when I brought up my risk concern and the information I have read, he said it was all false. So every post was false. You are welcome to fall for these calls but I believe my money is better invested else where.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. Please run from this company. They use the same lies and manipulations to get you hooked and then consistently have problems and come back to get more money. The pattern continues. There should be a lawsuit against them for evasively defrauding their investors while they live high off the horse. Worst decision ever made. Matthew fleeger should be ashamed of his actions. No moral and ethical person would do what his company has done.
Fraudulently taking money
I am an investor in budda #4, a oil partnership with gulf coast western. I have read all the complains from other investors with this company. I am in full agreement. if you are a partner in the budda venture, you will notice that they are giving us a choice. drill, as per the contract we signed, or some other stupid and non-sense option. please look carefully at the option. the wells are located in east texas, where most of the wells are shallow, old, and "petering out" they want to rework some of these wells, not deeper than 3, 700 ft. and then they want to drill a salt water recovery well and charge well owners around the area to "dump their salt water into this well. please look carefully at the wording, these people are limited their, (ours) investment to $500, 000. what the hell does that mean? it means nothing! how are we to know when the $500, 00 is reached and what happens after that? they would want more money from you and me. if you are in budda 4 or 5, please, don't be stupid. make them drill the damm well, at least there may be a chance of a oil it. do not vote for the other option... do not give these people an opening to frauduly take any more of your money.
I truly believe 110% that no one should invest in this company. This company has learned more about how to be evasive without reproach coming back on them Matt Fleeger is a scam artists who enjoys promoting himself as if he’s a person giving back to the community. He’s is proficient in scamming in such an eloquent way. Stay clear of this company
