Richard Goddeau approached my business claiming to have hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant money for the blind and needing to purchase companies. He bought one (to appear to be legitimate) he then ordered several others stating that he had to have a copy of pertinent documents for the monies to be released. Upon receipt of what appeared to be a valid wire number docs were released. All of a sudden the wire "disappeared" after several days of jerking off and of having the wire "returned" he claimed he was issuing a cashiers check and gave what appeared to be valid FEDEX tracking number that was never shown as having been active or picked up. he claimed at first that it was sent overnight express. Upon calling FEDEX we found that it was an unissued number for ground service. When confronted with this lie he then said that it was never "picked up" and was on the dock. He then claimed he was going to retrieve it and fly out in person to deliver it. After several hours he gave flight information, then he called to say he was in town and calling from a hotel. We sent our driver to pick him up and he never appeared. Shocking. First after repeated calls he claimed to be in the building in a meeting. Afterwards he claimed to be in a meeting off property. Then he stopped answering phone calls at all. Some time there after (several months to be exact) he is attempting to reverse teh charges on product he recieved. A bogus decietful liar.
