The grocery outlet stores are individually owned .while the idea of offering discount groceries purchased from wholesalers of discontinued brands is good and consumer friendly, i've found the store in medford oregon to be less than a worthwhile experience.
some of the canned goods and frozen food items being sold are so old that they are close to being unfit to eat. Some are not that much discounted but those that are, usually are of low quality. while they advertise great savings, ive found it better to simply shop the ads at the major markets. but another thing, they will hassle customers if they return items that have spoiled.
In some cases their pricing is far from accurate and while they scan items at checkout you have to make sure you're getting the shelf price. many times ive been charged a lot more and was always told that the lower price on the shelf was a shelving mistake!

if they need to refund they do it grudgingly.
i also learned that the food items in some cases were bought from local charities and food pantries in need of cash.

i noticed that they sold items that had logos from major markets such as safeway and albertsons . these stores do not resell old merchandise to outlet stores.

i calculated the costs after having to throw away stale and spoiled stuff and found there was No savings from shopping at grocery outlet ;the bargain store, they claim. but you shop wherever you want.

lie a lot? I know you are lying because I've called Albertson, safeway and Jojnson and Johnson and others and all have told me without exception that they have no relationship with GROCERY OUTLET at any level.
In fact they advised me that it would be illegal to resell any item close to expiration or any item that contracted retailers returned. .. What grocery outlet does on the blackmarket, well who knows;maybe you do. The manufacturers and retailers like safeway and albertson told me they donate goods to charity. Why would grocery outlet machine erase expiration dates on canned goods and frozen food.

some of their daily products are spoiled sitting right there on the shelf!

Grocery Outlet buys their product straight from the company in which makes it. So stop being a lying dumb ###! How do I know this, I own it. You know they can sue you for defamation. Its a lie! Stupid!
