Gregory R MacDonald who works for the City of Carson, is not a good neighbor. His abusive and rude actions have done nothing but cause grief and irritation for the residents of Torrance at the cross streets of 234th Place and Carlow Road for a year! He has made it clear that he "owns" the street buy his abuse of city property.

Each and everyday he makes sure that no one can park in front of my home including me, by moving each of his vehicles-a City of Carson pick up truck and his own Ford pick up truck, back and forth, one replacing the other. In this process he crosses over my neighbors drive way, the grass right of way and my driveway to park as close to the curb as he can with no respect to our properties. The tire marks are so bad that it has taken my residents number off the curb and the grass is completely ruined. He has also made it a point to park his trucks across the sidewalk so that anyone that walks by his home has to walk into the street to get around. He has even mocked me by throwing coffee and soup on my vehicle by trying to report him to the City of Torrance parking enforcement. They are well aware of his actions and have been tracking his abuse and have issued a warning. However, it takes time to get the wheels of justice to work to punishing this type of abuse. I have even contact his employers at the City of Carson.

The worst part of this person is his rude, condescending and abusive actions. I would think that a city employee would be a better neighbor to all people since they have devoted their life to working for the people. I guess I am wrong...Hopefully this man can be taught a lesson in courtesy and kindness or the minimum fined for his actions.

Yes, it is a for sale sign. He has been trying to sell that house for over a year! I cannot wait until he leaves the area. What a nightmare or should I say monster of a human being.

Torrance has a crappy ordinance on parking in the city. You cannot park more than 72 hours in one spot, so hence that is why he keeps switching his trucks. Parking enforcement has been trying to catch him, but he manages to keep mocking them by moving his vehicles. They are well aware of his trickery and working on a solution to stop him.

Can you believe it. He is still, since I originally posted this complaint not letting me park in front of my house! It has been over a year and every day he moves one truck out and one truck in. The weekends, Thursday to Monday, he just leaves his City of Carson truck there when he can park it in his drive way. He will only do that if he plans not go out at night during the week. He is one of the most inconsiderate and childish people I have ever met. He is truly the "Grinch that Stole Christmas" everyday...

Thanks, at least I have this forum to vent my frustrations. Unfortunately, the For Sale sign has come down and now I am stuck with this ugly soul for a while. He sure does set a great example for his kids...

Gregory MacDonald now has a new routine to make it easier on him...He moves his City of Carson Truck at night into his driveway so that he does not have to move it in the morning. So yes, he can use his driveway only when it is convenient for him. Plus, the power company had to replace the street light in front of our home. However, Gregory MacDonald has never moved his vehicle and they have to work around both his City of Carson truck and his personal truck...unbelievable. I still have to look at his City of Carson truck in front of our home every weekend from Thursday to Sunday! He knows that the City of Torrance has a parking ordinance that says you cannot park more than 72 hours in one space at a time. He is one of the most inconsiderate human beings I have ever met! Hopefully, his supervisors and city leaders will have something to say about this in the coming weeks.

Well, can you believe it. After almost 3 years he finally moved out. It took his ex-wife and a great real estate person to motivate him to leave so they could fix up the house so it could actually get sold! They said it was in sad shape and no wonder it never sold. He did nothing to make it presentable for potential buyers. I got a good overview of what a jerk he really is from them. It is like a breath of fresh air not coming home to his piece of crap Ford pickup and that ugly City of Carson truck in front of our home every single day. He will not be missed or mentioned again in my lifetime. What a waste of air and space on this earth I wish his new neighbors luck in dealing with Gregory MacDonald...

Thank you City of Carson Employee. I know that this is not appropriate behavior for someone who represents your city in another city. I came very close to talking with his supervisor, but was afraid of what he might do to our property or us. I even have pictures of a Carson dump truck, backhoe and several other employees moving abc or dirt from his driveway to take back to Carson. I'm sure the City residents would appreciate their tax dollars being used to go to Torrance and do that.

Thank you theneighbor for your comments. Unfortunately, your comments are oblivious to the responses from co workers and people that know him and have commented on this site. Wow, I could not believe what people think of him. They even gave me the names of his bosses to call. I can see from the way you speak of him you are either Gregory, friend or a family member. It's sad that this is still a subject for you. There are several points you would not know since you actual never talked with the parking enforcement. I was always there when they came by and I got to know them every well. I unlike him was always courteous to the Sergeant and the parking enforcement officer. They told me to keep a log of his behavior in case he did something destructive. They had their eye on him just in case. His reputation in this neighborhood was not good...I talked with several of the neighbors that have known him for a while before I moved here and told me about his unfriendly behavior throughout the years, even his Realtor! I know you want to try to spin this in his favor, but I think the whole thread speaks for itself. I do appreciate you adding to this thread so it stays current and high up on searches. I wish you well in your pursuit to repair his reputation (your in the minority), although I think he created his own misery among his family, friends, co workers and neighbors. Oh and by the way, my other neighbor is a police officer so he knows as well.

Thank you theneighbor for your comments. Unfortunately you are oblivious to what has been posted throughout this thread over the years. It is apparent that you are either a friend, family member or Gregory himself posting on this to save his reputation. Its not just me, take a look at what his co workers and others say about him. They even gave me his bosses names to call to report his abusive behavior and personal use of company equipment. What I find interesting in your conversation is that you claim to have spoken with the parking enforcement officer. Interesting, I was always present when they came by and got to know the Sergeant and the parking enforcement officer very well. The had me keep a log of his behavior in case he decided to do something destructive. They also wanted to keep and eye on him. You were no where to be seen... He had several parking notifications on his truck due to his actions. The parking enforcement officer told me that he was defiant and did just enough to keep from getting a ticket or towed. They contemplated talking with the City of Carson about it. Oh, by the way, my other neighbor is a police officer as well and he knew about it..As you can see, he is not well received by many including his neighbors, ex wife and his Realtor! I never had to say a word, people would tell me about his behavior with others...even before I moved here. I'm sorry that you feel the need to save him, however Gregory has created his own misery and that is the reputation he has and continues to leave with others. I see him every once in a while around town and feel sorry for him. Hopefully, you take the time to review all the threads about him and think hard about who was abused here.

I lived in the neighborhood just a couple houses from Gregory and found him to be very polite and never had a problem with him. I have seen him switch his trucks, but I also noticed it is in front of his house just as much as it is yours. I do think him changing trucks was a little compulsive, but not in the wrong at all. Never once did I see him do anything wrong. From my house I can see him park and have never seen him drive up on your grass like you so outrageously claim. Frankly I think your accusations are false. I even had a conversation with the parking enforcement officer who told me that you were a problem to deal with and the only reason they even came out is because you gave them so much trouble.

you should get a security camera and record this behavior. then you can prosecute him for harassment. what a dick! you should also look up your cities codes and call the code enforcement. I have similar problems on my street. i live on a cul-de-sac (don't ever buy a house on a cul-de-sac, even if it looks nice and you have kids!) when we moved in it was sooo nice. then a week later our neighbor moved his rv back in and all of his trucks that don't run that he must have moved for the previous owners to be able to sell their house (they were friends). this guys front yard looks like a junk yard. his 21year old kid still lives there and has put a couch, sound system and tv in his rapo van that doesn't move cuz he has a DUI. the only vehicle this kid drives is his gas powered go cart that he drives up and down and up and down and up and down the cul-de-sac followed by 10 minutes of donuts in the cul-de-sac...good god...I'm not violent but it makes me with i owned a gun. in addition to those yahoos the people on the other side of my moved out because of their ARM (which is skyrocketing) and rented the house to their stoner kids (the other neighbors best friends) and they've turned it into a party house. Did i mention the son is in a band (the rock band where the singing is growling...). They also got 2 dogs which piss and ### all over my front yard and run around the neighborhood loose. They are kept in the backyard (when they are kept)...and when the crap in the backyard got to be bad enough the kids began hanging out in their front yard! GREAT! well we now officially live next to a circus, they have lawn games in their front yard, a hammock hanging from the tree and attached to their GUTTER, and they also spend hours throwing knives at said tree. yes knives...while the other kid (other house) drives up and down and up and down and up and down on his loud ### go cart. now if that weren't bad enough another house had a hispanic family living in it and they turned their house into a chop shop. We had to deal with their 8 or so no operable vehilcles littering their front yard and the available parking in the cul-de-sac. They would spend hours painting cars in their one car garage and had to worry about the overspray turning our house into a tye-dye hippie hut. thank god they went into forclosure and fled the scene. I thought I would burn my own home down at that point. finally we have another house that has 4 generations living in a 3 bed 1.5 bath house about 10 people total. when the hispanics moved out they took it upon themselves to capitalize on an opportunity and tore down their dividing fence and expanded their property into the previous hispanics yard. Not only that but they also have an RV which is permanetly parked and lived in full time on their property. They were the straw that broke tihs camels back. they were braking close to 5 city ordinances. I called the city and the RV can only be there 2 weeks out of the month, they get to keep the extra 360sq ft they stole and they can only have 4 cars in their driveway.

My advice to you...I sat around for close to a year hoping, nay, praying things would get better. Afterall, how much worse could they get?... I was wrong, they get substantially worse. I don't know what you did to piss this guy off or how this all started, but he is obviously @#ing with you. I would get a security camera, a good one and get this harrassment on tape. Then I would also call your city and find out all of the ordinances and call him in. Report him everyday until something is done. File a lawsuit for harrassment. And perhaps get a protection order so that he cannot go near your property. get a lawyer and do if fast!

if you don't do anything he's gonna continue, if you do something, he's gonna continue, don't let him make you hate your home. don't let him win.
