I just checked my debit card statement and found that money was taken out of my account! This is my child support debit card. Money that is supposed to go for the care of my children. I want this fixed and now! Jan
I have resentl looked into my credit card statments and have found that Grant Unlimited has withdrawled a total of $126.89. How can i contact this company and get my money back?
If you read the terms and conditions of the grant program you registered for, there in the fine print you will see that the cheap initial fee of $2 or so is only for the first 24 hours of use. I ran into this problem myself. I called the number on my bank statement for Grant Unlimited: 866-978-9480. When the company sees that your account was not cancelled before the 24 hours was up, they charge you each month. Call the number, cancel your account with them. I was rather perturbed with my situation as well, as I'm having trouble even getting the $500 of rent I need this month, let alone my car payment, insurance, credit card and student loan payments. Because you did not cancel within that first 24 hours, you agreed to the terms and conditions, and you cannot get that money back. Sorry. It's how these companies make their money. I'm not happy with it either, but that's life. I don't work for them, I just thought I'd pass whatever knowledge I had about the situation on to you. Hope it helped for whatever it's worth. Keep the faith, guys.
Grant Unlimited took an unauthourized charge of $63.74 and put my credit card over its maximum limit. The only reason I did authorize a charge of $1.95 was that I thought it couldn't hurt to take a look. Apparently I'm wrong. All they want to do is gouge whenever and whoever they can. They should be stopped from preying on people who are already in trouble financially.
