Grab driver told me to cancel and assured I was not going to be charged and now I'm charged with $5 penalty fee. Grab Singapore told me there's nothing they can do about it. I will think a thousand times before I use the app again. Never going to recommend it to a friend again. The grab app has a flaw no cancel button when it was searching for cab. I got a driver and it will continue to search for another driver for "grabhitch". There was a few times multiple driver show up and the app couldn't detect that. And I still was penalised for having to cancel one of the bookings caused by the flawed app. For once an international company didn't know how to win a customer back. I take 3-4 grab rides per day. Now I'm not going to.

GrabCar / GrabTaxi the driver ngauw jin seng sjd9527j honda civic

As I took grab service with you grab often but this is the first time I encountered such a irresponsible driver, I book his service at around 10.45pm around this timing, and I waited for him to arrive . As I afraid that some drivers may not know the location I than text him twice to make sure he knew the place . I still specifically told him in text the Bencoolen drop of point, second text I told him is just opposite the Burlington square which always all your grab drivers know for sure . I waited for ten minutes and I see how come the map shows that his car have already pass my location . So out of courtesy I call him up instead of texting him, he pick up I ask him nicely where is he now, and he can immediately reply me he left the place without giving any reasons, than I ask him nicely how could you take my call and you don't even let me know that his not coming to pick up me . He straight can say hello Bencoolen so long how I know where is your drop of point, which I find it very ridiculous, and irresponsible reaction from him . I say to him the Bencoolen is always in the gps maps in your grab gps n in google map for sure . How could he say Bencoolen is so long how to find, am I right to say that. Than I say to him at lease if you don't know the location you should give a call or a text to me and check out the location of my location am I right to say that . Plus he say he left ask me to cancel the booking . This is very very disappointing and irresponsible attitude from your grab driver. He wasted my time, his time to find another customer is important to him and what about my time, my time is important too, and I wasted for the 15mins or so . That's very bad attitude from your grab driver, I'm very disappointed from you guys grab car . I hope you guys can give me a good explanation why such working attitude driver . If I don't get a good explanation from the driver and from you grab . I will boycott grab car . And I will spread this bad experience I have from you grab car service to all my friends, relative, who ever,

GrabCar / GrabTaxi driver 'hitting on' and asking for my 14 year olds number

My 14 yr old daughter took a grab taxi home from school yesterday, the 15th of may 2017. Drivers name was mohammad sadik bin mohid said of car number sgu6907b. This driver made her uncomfortable throughout the journey and asked her for her number before she got off. When she said to leave her alone and that she's only 14, he said thats not a problem! We assume living in singapore that drivers of uber and grab are analysed before allowed on the roads. I would really like to know what action companies take for such behaviour as it makes a parent feel insecure. Thank you

GrabCar / GrabTaxi I am complaining about the sudden change of bill, from 270 php during booking to 541 php as I arrived on my destination

My route is from General Ave. Taguig to St. Mary's College at Diliman Quezon City, I used GRABSHARE and my rate is 270 Php, and to my surprised my rate became 541 Php as I arrived in my destination...
I am a regular grab passenger and one thing I like about GRAB is the fixed rate upon booking.. That is why I feel disappointed earlier to the circumstance I've been thru, especially that the money I have in my wallet is just enough for my Grab bill the (270 Php) and for the food I ordered for my meeting at St. Mary's College but because of what happened I have to borrowed money from my colleague, to pay for the extra bill for the food. I hope you understand that what happened had burdened me in borrowing money which is something I don't like. I've been booking the same route way back and never experienced the scenario I had earlier. I hope this will never ever happen again.

GrabCar / GrabTaxi grab application server down

I am complaining abount the suspension of my account at grab app.it wasnt my fault for such canceling of the booked grab...the driver advised me that he cant pick us up in my destination so i need to cancel the booming...while canceling my connect was loss and i can not retrieve it... And I did call so many times to grab and lodge a complaint but none of them attend my complaint or call me back.. My application of grab still showing signal issue and te customer service all is rude from beginning.. Technical support doesn't help me at all since 4 days I cannot use my apps they keep on mention I done so many cancellation. They purposely blocked you grab app.. I need ur solution to get back my app n use the application..

GrabCar / GrabTaxi grabtaxi driver didn't show me the meter

I noticed the driver was covering the joystick with a small towel. I didnt put much though about it until I arrived at my destination. I leaned over to look at the meter which was behind the car's joystick. The driver did not remove the towel as it was blocking me from looking at the meter. Instead he just told me "140 pesos". I paid him 150. i booked that cab with a 20 off promo. He gave me 20 pesos for my change and left. I received a grab E-receipt email. It said it said

GrabCar / GrabTaxi driver cancelling booking without reason

On 20 january 2017, i booked a grab car to go to ss2 from paradigm mall. A driver named ting chiong ping (Qaa8515m - toyota vios) accepted my booking and made his way to my location. The map showed that he was reaching in about 5 minutes as he was nearby paradigm mall. Instead of coming over, he circled the mall for another 10 minutes before cancelling my trip abruptly without any valid reason!

I'm upset because he has wasted my time waiting for nothing. If he didn't want to send me to my destination, he should not have accepted my booking in the first place! The fact that he was already around the area but refused to pick me up is simply unacceptable. As it was quite late (Around 11.20 pm), i didn't manage to book another grab driver. I ended up asking a friend to fetch me.

I use grabcar quite often, but this is the worst service i've ever experienced. I hope your team will take stern action on such irresponsible drivers who accept and cancel trips unnecessarily, as they are causing inconvenience to passengers like me.

GrabCar / GrabTaxi overcharged 4 times then estimated

In new year eve i booked standard taxi via grab estimate was 9-12 from Clarq Quay to Arab street (approx 2.4 km) but when the driver dropped me bill was 39 sgd. I registered complaint in grab customer care, 4 calls since then but everytime they say we have raised your complaint we will get back to you. Our app automatically assigns grab car if there is no available standard taxi. It is illegal but still im helpless and no money return and not even a courtsey reply call.

GrabCar / GrabTaxi over charging

this was happened last 2017-january- 05 i make a booking through grab and immediately this grab driver responded his using red adventure and his name is nestor de marucu cura, i told him to bring me to mercury drug munoz it's along edsa. While traveling we had our first stop in sucat select because he said he wants to make pee while waiting i even buy him a cup of coffee then he make two times pee during our travel because he said he's having problem in urinating. Then he said he will use alternative route to avoid the traffic but honestly in took us 3 hours in the street before we reach munoz. My friends are waiting in our meeting place which is mercury munoz suddenly i was shocked with the cost of the fare he ask me pay him 2, 291.00 i keep quite and give him 2300.00 instead. I am an ofw working here in riyadh. And i want to complain this grab taxi driver.

GrabCar / GrabTaxi handphone missing in grabcar

Recently I took a ride from Grab (Black Subaru) and I accidentally left my Iphone 7 inside the car. I activated The find my Iphone and found out that the car was roaming around for more than 3 hours. When I called the lost and found service centre the staff told me that the driver informed that my handphone was not to be found. I felt that the staff were not helpful and they were not able to disclose to me any information even after I have made a police report. Even if I have made a mistake the least they could do is to send the car back to my location so I can confirm through the iphone tracking device and let my mind at ease. As the handphone was bought out of my hard earned money I honestly lost my trust in Grab service and would say this would be the most devastating follow up that they could provide with. They left me hanging in a worried state.

I would like to complain the driver of vh 2086, around 430pm to 5pm pinick up nya ang pinsan at auntie ko na may cancer sa st. Lukes ospital, pra ihatid dito sa binangonan, sna nun una palang ngreklamo n sya na nalalayuan sya.. Eh di sna nghanap nlng ang pinsan ko ng ibang msasakyan.. Better to ban him para di na makabiktima. Tamad naman siya kaya di na siya dapat mag-hire. He even cancelled my booking.

Good pm . Ask ko lang kung nag double fare kayo kapag out of metro manila . like imus cavite or bacoor. ? Kasi 2 beses na nangyari ng nag book kami at sinisingil kami ng double rate. Nung una halis 1k plus na bayad namin sa lancaster new city cavite lng kami galing sm southmall.

Tapos last week meron nanamanna ganun tinanninh ko naman sa ibang grab driver wala naman daw ganun . Kung magkano lang daw ang naka lagay sa pinbook ganun lang daw. Meron akong screenshot ng plate number ang message nya .

GrabCar / GrabTaxi grabcar payment

I am complaining for the grabcar driver rodrigo velano buenaventura for not being honest.

Background: my colleague booked me from eastwood to delmonte ave. Using promo code nightshift so my payment should be half of 206php. I asked the driver to dropped by my other colleague to auroa since its along the way. Upon dropping my colleague, minutes ago we arrived at my destination then the driver said its 206. I was shocked thought my colleague wasn't able to confirm the promocode but when we checked, it was cleared that my payment should be half the price of the original bill. And since I was so tired and dizzy I paid the amount without thinking that it might be wrong.

Hope you can take actions to this case. We both working for living but this is not acceptable. This might be a cause of losing customer's trust to grabcar. We will wait for your feedback. Thank you.

GrabCar / GrabTaxi bad service

I am writing in to complain about this bloody selfish driver who only thinks for himself. Mr See Soon Heat, driving a Toyota prius with plate number SLH8995S, decided to cancel on me after I've waited for 11 mins for his arrival when it actually stated 7 mins on the app. He cancelled on me because I booked a trip to jurong from tampines and I think he doesn't want to travel that far. I don't think GRAB needs any selfish driver like him around because what if the person who was cancelled on had an emergency to attend to? Also, I didn't know that the drivers can choose their passenger? Bloody ridiculous. I hope you take this matter into consideration. Thank you.

GrabCar / GrabTaxi service of call centre staff

date of incident - 5 Jan 2017
time of incident - 2.14pm

details of the incident:

there is a promo code today and i applied it to my app. upon boarding the car, driver causally mentioned that i did not use any promo. i replied him saying i am very sure i did keyed in the correct promo code (SHARELAH) and got accepted. so he showed me his phone to convince me. i really appreciate drivers who can take the extra effort to inform passengers about the promo code not being applied. (nothing wrong with the driver so i will stop here on the driver).

so after this particular trip ended, i made a called to GRAB. An officer answered my call and after providing him (i did not managed to get his name during this call) all the details, he told me that his other department will get back to me after checking with the technical team.

at about 5.16pm i received a call from 9022313. The operator on the phone intro his name as wilson. And immediately tell me after checking, they are very sure that i did not apply any promo code and he cannot do anything for me, thus the discount was not applicable. And i said the same thing again about me typing the promo code SHARELAH into the box provided for passenger to key in promo code and i can see that it is being accepted.

so Wilson ask me if i have a screenshot of the acceptance message. my reply is : why would i have to screenshot this ? it is not like i can foresee this kinda crap from happening? must all passenger screenshot EVERY acceptance text after applying the promo code?"

I asked to speak to a higher authority eg. manager or any other authority over this issue. But wilson said that his manager is not there. so i asked when will he/she be back. he said " not sure" so i proceed to ask for the manager's name. and wilson demand to know why must i get the manager name.

my reply is : why cant i get your manager's name?!
wilson told me that i CANNOT get his manager's name. which does not make any sense to me.

i am writing this not because i want to get credits return to my account. not because of the money or promo code anymore. this is about the terrible service i get from such a reputable company in Singapore and across the globe.

I'm complaining the attached file regarding the fare that he demand to us. Pick up point was in Century mall, along the road he was telling stories that he is working in USA etc. To cut the story short aside from the fare he asked for an additional 100 pesos which I don't understand. The driver was ok but I don't know why he was asking an extra 100 pesos

GrabCar / GrabTaxi driver refuses to alight at drop off point

I would like to complain against grab car driver Chen Shenghong Alvin driving Toyota Yaris from pick up at 887C Woodlands Dr 50 (1310hrs) to drop off at 8 Admirax, Admiral Street (1327hrs) refuse to alight me at drop off point as he said it's inconvenience to him as he need to pay cash card upon entering the said drop off point so he alight me at road side. If that happens in future, might as well passenger hail down a cab. Do I given any discount for not dropping off at my desire location? May I know what follow up will grab car will take?

Hello I would like to complain grab car wnt 7799
White nissan. Service is very bad specking also got problem. Talk very unfriendly. N him car tinter very black window. I sit up the wrong grab when I call him I say sorry. When he reply answer me on the phone is dislike ok I want cancel but my grab apps have sistem down problem a shot ward, he say very lound if I no press booking he no need to drive tonight.
And finally I say nvm I ask sitting me the grab u turn back to the place. M I sit back this taxi wnt 7799 I say not dun want cancel my apps have little problem them he say my phone rosak is it. To the unfriendly talking.

GrabCar / GrabTaxi heavy smoker driver

To whom it may concern, my friend just booked a grab car on 30th December 2016 @ 1740 (Booking ID: ADR-[protected]-2-002).

Didn't take note of the car plate but is a white Proton Saga. Unfortunately for us, we just entered the car of a heavy smoker driver. He did placed a piece of air refresher there but it didn't not help at all.

My nose is sensitive to smoke. I literally need to covered my nose and mouth during the entire 45 minutes journey and have difficulty in breathing. Totally a very bad experience for such ride and I'm afraid this will definitely affect passengers experience in using Grab, although the fault is on the driver side.

I think drivers shouldn't have smoke in a car that they will use to pick up passengers. Kindly rectify this matter. Thanks

GrabCar / GrabTaxi driver cancelling booking without reason

I would like to report Grab car with Plate number VB6023 for cancelling my book request without providing any reason or explanation dated Dec 29 2016 at 10:14 PM. Im pretty sure this is not the first time you guys received a complain about such issue. Grabcars objective is to provide convenience to passengers but this one surely does the opposite. Drivers/operators like this shouldn't pursue this kind of service if they will not act professionally to what they do. "If taxi drivers pick and chooses their passengers, whats the point of choosing grab if they exhibit the same attitude"
