Gonzalo Arzamendi who owns Arzuk Productions in Ridgcrest California was most likely the only person who committed a fraud and a scam perpetrated on the internet via his production company and facebook to take the $1000 prize money away from an artist only to keep it for himself to do with it as he wished. Gonzalo Arzamendi in conjunction with an internet radio station ran a world wide Battle of the Bands which was supposed to run from September 3rd to September 30th 2011 but because of Gonzalo’s apparently dishonest behavior he aborted his own competition claiming that there would be no winner and that he would keep the money and give it to who ever he chose.
41 bands competed in the Battle for 23 days only to find out that in the end the whole thing would turn out to be a total sham. No one would win and the thousands of dedicated fans that voted for their favorite band would cast their votes for nothing. Why did they stop the Battle of the Bands? The answer seems to be that it was because of Gonzalo Arzamendi’s cheating tactics in which he apparently altered the votes and then tried to get his friend to win by asking people, via facebook, to vote for one particular artist. It seems as though the only reason they stopped the Battle of the Bands was so that Gonzalo Arzamendi would not get caught in his own controversial lies and unprofessional behavior. If anyone reading this is making plans to deal with Gonzalo Arzamendi my advice is you best beware.
