GolfNow Took payment twice off me for same course

I booked a round in city West golf course for three golfers when I confirmed it the page said error not processed so booked again and it went through but was charged twice as a result the tee time was for 3.32 and wasn't processed but I was charged booked again for 3.24 and was charged aswell I would like this issue to be resolved as it was not my mistake the page said error not processed but I was still charged anyway

GolfNow Cannot reach customer service to get a refund on a gift card.

My daughter gave me a $50 gift card for Golfnow for Mother's Day. The gift card is only good for Hot Deals and those are too late in the day for me or anyone else I would like to play with. Way too hot! I told my daughter I would get her refunded. It is their written policy that a refund is available if the card is never used and the refund is requested within 10 months and the original email receipt is shown. We meet all of that criteria but can't get through to anyone. Everytime I call it is a 3 hour wait time! So I emailed 2 weeks ago got a rebo response saying they are working on my problem and will get back to me. But gave me no time frame. I don't understand how they are in business with this total lack of concern for their customers!

GolfNow is a waste of time and money. I let my VIP membership expire because several tee times I booked ..the tee time was canceled by GolfNow for no reason or explanation. When I got to the course...90 minute drive...they told me the reservation was canceled for no reason whatsoever by GolfNow. Fortunately, they were able to get us on...but WHAT A HASSLE...this isnt the first time this has happened.

I have booked 31 rounds with GolfNow this past 18 months and I have a ton of missing reservation points. I played every round...and the rewards ..the hot round discounts...JOKE...you have to be retired to take advantage of the middle of the day rounds offered.

Save your money...the VIP membership isnt worth it. Its a joke!

GolfNow Booking cancelled and was still charged

I booked a tee time online., and cancelled it within 5'minutes... yet my account was charged!... Called, 1 hour wait!... I want my money back!... I have waste so much time looking for an email, a selection of contact numbers... and of course the golf course cannot do anything about it... oh yes, and PayPal... I suspect I won't get a response... go figure

Amen brother. I just went through almost the identical thing with golfnow. I hit submit accidentally. then clicked on cancel. well, they are just canceling or "processing" the cancel for you! did you get that "processing the cancellation." then it says that you are not going to be able to recover the convenience fees. im fine with that. but they should refund the greens fees. I don't care if it's a hotdeal or not. people make mistakes. I went to cancel this immediately. called golfnow customer service. three hour wait times the recording cheerfully states. it's delay tactic slimy old business practices. it's no surprise that comcast now owns them and are behind this garbage.

Sooooo, if you want to get your money back. dispute it with you credit card/debit card bank. I did and I got my money back for now pending the outcome of the dispute which can take 10 days. my bank immediately gave me temp relief and issued what's called a "card claim provisional credit"

[censored] golfnow.com they are greedy, scummy, [censored] operating in modern times. surprised actually. up until this event, I had no inclination of their greedy ways. if anybody thinks these are isolated incidents just google about golfnow scamming people that have legitimate claims for cc refunds.

GolfNow Zero customer service!!!

How do I get in touch with you people?!?! No email address! I call and get an automated message there is a 58 minute wait. At 3 PM on a Tuesday?! I used Twitter. Took over a day to get a response and then was told they would pass along my issues to someone. Never heard another word. That was weeks ago. Typical Comcast owned company. Take your customers money and then run and hide. Your website has problems when using a PC. You can't change the filters, (distance, etc.), and then research. It always defaults back to 25 miles.

I agree. Now I can't order tee times or hot deal through the app or web golfnow.com. Tried for days to reach them. But 30 min waiting time. I can't use Golnow that, was so good in the past, anymore. Try with teeoff app.

The service at Golf Now is nonexistent! sometimes you have to cancel a tee time, mine was due to the weather I don't like playing in the rain if I don't have too. I can understand keeping the booking fee, but not refunding the green fee is Wrong! at least give Hot Deal coupons or refund the money! Golf Now had good service when they first started That's Gone!

GolfNow Cancellations/customer service

I booked a tee time for 2 players at the Black Gold golf course for 12/27/2017. This was a Hot Deal which required payment in full. A couple days prior I had to cancel due to a family emergency. I reread the terms and conditions which stated that hot deals were not refundable unless I was a VIP member. I was hoping I could at least receive a credit to my account towards a future round of golf. I attempted to call GolfNow but was never able to reach a representative. I left my call back number three separate times but never received a call back.

I feel my loyalty as a customer was not honored as I was unable to reasonably contact a GolfNow representative to address my circumstances. I would like either a refund or a credit to my account for the $142.98 GolfNow collected for my reservation #[protected].

I have not used golfnow membership this year except one time when I booked tee time at local golf course. I recently found that Golfnowgolfpass had charged me $199.00 through my Visa account. I just got information from my bank that they can not help me because I never cancel VIP menbership this year. I thought that membership is annual membership and I have never been informed by golfnow on my membership charge.
I need an explanation by golfnow and like to cancel any membership immediatly.

GolfNow Eric barber using my credits

I just got off the phone talking to Eric Barbara and after maybe 4-5 request i was just told NO each time.
I've been a member for a while and unfortunately on of my credits expired. I the current credits could not be used retroactively, I could not talk to a supervisor, he would take my complaint because there was no other way to complain.
I had was force him to tell me that i could use all my credits at once, and on and on with lots of NO...NO...NO ...NO

GolfNow Very bad experience with golfnow

I was searching for a gift for my father on his birthday and since he always was a big fan of golf I decided that a golf game would make a perfect present.
I found GolfNow website and booked a game. My father was really happy and excited, but because of GolfNow everything went down the hill.
They cancelled my fathers game without telling us. Of course their rep said that they have sent us a notification, but we did not receive anything.
I wanted to make my father happy but their ruined everything!
I will never use GolfNow again and would not recommend them to anyone. Please keep that in mind and don't take the risk, especially if you are planning to make a gift or something.

GolfNow Cancelled our booking

My company was planning to play some gold on the weekend so we went online and found GolfNow website. Wee booked a tee time and paid in advance.
Two days before the game we were contacted by GolfNow and told that our booking was cancelled. They said we'll get our money back as soon as possible. They were not able to give us reasonable explanation why did they cancel our booking, but weekend was 100% ruined.
We did get our money back, but still we will never use GolfNow service ever again!

GolfNow Save yourself the trouble call the course direct and talk to the prospect

Good rates since courses give them free tee time for advertising the course but read the fine print. We booked a foursome and the day we were to play my back spased out. 3 of our group played. i called before the tee time and asked for a credit for 1 fee. No way they said. Then when our 3 some showed up they were stuck behind a tournament. They quit 5 hours and11. Holes into the round. Save yourself the trouble call the course direct and talk to the prospect. This outfit stins.

bought a tee time (for only 9 holes) which was intermixed with 18 hole tee times, with no description or info that it was for only 9 holes.
Deceptive. Real deceptive.
Golfnow.com should be shut down or they need to clearly identify 9 hole vs 18 hole pricing/times/

Waste of time! Call your pro shop and book it yourself or you will not get your tee time as advertised and they take your money on HOT DEALS but they don't reserve your tee time. Happened to me numerous times and I end up on the phone with them for 20-30 minutes with no resolution just frustration.

These brilliant idiots don't tell when a courses greens has been aerated until after the purchase and guess what "No Refunds" - I complained to them and their response was akin to flipping me off. Save your money book your own tee times.

They sold me a tee time. I drive an hour one way to get there. The course is closed for a tournament. I call customer service to complain. I get a very rude customer service rep. My situation is unresolved and would recommend that you stay away from doing business with these people.

GolfNow Not pleased with service or cost

Better to book direct. Not pleased with service or cost. The deal included power carts, but muddy conditions prevented their use. The course debated on closing, but let us walk and play as we had showed up. The course was hardly playable with mud, some tee boxes closed, and temporary tees. If I booked direct with the course I would have saved the hassle and paid less. The course said they talked with golfnow and I would get a credit from golfnow, but when I called I got a hassle and eventually they would only credit $9. WOW! Not a deal!

GolfNow Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time

I inadvertently used an alternative email address to book four rounds of golf. As a result, my frequent golfer status under my proper email address was not credited - and I was charged a $7.96 online fee.

When I called golfnow.com's "Customer Service" phone line to explain the situation, the rep looked up my alternative email and could clearly see my mistake. Nonetheless, I was told that this $7.96 fee could not be waived even though I clearly have used the site to book DOZENS of rounds.

So Golfnow.com's choice is to lose me as a frequent customer over this small fee. There is complete inflexibility and a lack of empowerment given to the call center reps.

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time.

GolfNow Don't use golfnow.com

Booked a tee-time using golfnow.com and that part went smooth. When I called the course the day before just to make sure that they were aware of it they said they had no clue and that tee time was not available. There was going to be outings all day... Golfnow should be shut down! It is a scam! I had already prepaid and everything... Luckily the course's GM was very nice and worked everything out for us. **DO NOT USE GOLFNOW.COM!**

GolfNow Friendly enough customer representatives but a horrible accounting system

I have used Golfnow.com a few times in the past mainly to book tee times in Florida. I booked a tee time in March and received confirmation. Myself and the rest of my foursome showed up 30 minutes before our tee and to my surprise the course had no record of my tee time booking. After returning home I called Golfnow to to express my displeasure with their booking process and to ensure I would not be charged for the booking. I was told there had been website issues and assured I would not charged. To my surprise when my credit card statement arrived I was surprised to see that I was not charged once but 3 times for a booking Golfnow did not do. Called Golfnow to receive a refund and they cannot find my account even after forwarding my email from Golfnow stating I would not be charged. Friendly enough customer representatives but a horrible accounting system.

GolfNow Very poor relationship with the golf courses, and extremely poor customer service

Everything went smoothly with taking my money, but getting a refund is another story. I booked a course, and drove to the course to find out the gates were closed due to "greens under repair". I e-mailed for a refund, but no response. I called customer service, and they said they couldn't reach anyone at the course (duh they are closed), but couldn't issue a refund until they spoke with the course management. They also informed me it was my responsibility to call golfnow.com everyday, and remind them to call the golf course. So, basically they are holding my money on a course that may or may not reopen. Very poor relationship with the golf courses, and extremely poor customer service!

Similar problem as course closed due to heavy rain. We visited the course and they shared they had already communicated with Golfnow.com and let them know they were closed. Upon contacting Golfnow.com the response was we will call the course and verify. The call center indicated they called the golf shop 5 times but got no answer. We called and got an answer right away. Golfnow.com is excellent in taking your money but drag their feet in taking care of the refund. Also, this is the second time Golfnow.com/Miami has indicated they have called the course and gotten no answer. This gives the appearance of being a "best practices" within Golfnow.com to hold on to the funds as long as possible.

GolfNow Refund policy

I have booked tee times thru Golf now.com. About a month ago, I tried to book a tee time thru the website, but the reservation process has not been completed due to a system error (the company's system error, not my computer error). However, I found that the golf course, which I tried to book, charged a green fee on my checking account. I contacted Golf Now.Com, and a representative answered. I explained the situation, and the representative told me that I would get a refund within 6-7 business days. However, I didn't get a refund from Golf Now.com until after I talked to the representative two weeks ago. I contacted them agian. At that time, different representative answered and she told me that I should directly contact the golf course. I didn't understand why I should contact the golf course. I asked her to transfer my call to her manager. After the manager listened my explanation, she told me that I would get a refund, but she said they should get a credit from the golf course first. It means that I can not get a refund until the golf course refunds to Golf Now.Com. After I contacted the manager, it has taken another 2 weeks now. However, I still didn't get a refund from them. The main thing I can not understand is that. I was using Golf now.com website to book a tee time, not a golf course's website, and there was an error on Golf Now.com's website. It is not my fault, and it is simply their system error. BUT why I should wait until the golf course refund the amount to Golf Now.Com to get a refund from Golf Now.com. It is very disadvantageous refund policy to customers, and I believe Golf Now.Com should change this refund policy. I hope someone from Golf Now.com can explain this situation reasonably.

Don't forget to bring your confirmation paperwork with you. The course had a record of my reservation but not that it had been paid so I had to pay again. The next day the course could not find the record of my payment and Golf Now would not refund the green fees I had already paid them. Good prices but watch out for the terms and conditions.

Do not use the mobile version of this site. It's very screwy; the date that you are trying to book may change on you and there is no way to verify that you picked your desired date before booking. After clicking make a reservation, an error message popped up. Finally, when I received an email confirmation, lo and behold I made the reservation a day early and am having a hell of a time getting my money back. They are not responsive to phone calls, emails, or their stupid "contact us" forms. stay away! use ezlinks, better deals and you can cancel up to 24hrs in advance.

GolfNow I've been playing golf my entire life, and this type of technology really isn't welcome

Typical of these types of sites. It's not that convenient, since I still have to call the golf course to check on maintenance status, cart path only (if it's rainy) and other issues. My biggest problem with site and others like it are:

1. They make a strong effort to peddle the 'discounted' times (these are the times they take from the golf courses for their 'fee' so it's all their money if they sell them). These are usually not the most desirable times either.

2. You have to pay 100% UP FRONT, and the only way to get a refund is if the course actually CLOSES that day due to weather. So if your schedule changes you're basically stuck (like a hotel reservation).

3. There is a "booking fee" which I find ABSURD.

4. Their selection is pretty weak most of the time.

I've been playing golf my entire life, and this type of technology really isn't welcome. I much prefer to interact with the pro shop personnel, review and select a tee time with him/her directly, and have the flexibility to change or reschedule. Use this site if you're so inclined (at least that's what the "mind control" advertising on Golf Channel will tell you to do), but for me and my golfing buddies it's a failed experiment.

we book a tee time and it started to rain. we cancelled the reservation and were issued promo codes instead of credit. the company said that because the course had not closed they would not issue credit. i had problems using the promo codes and they expired. they refuse to refund or issue new promo codes. what a bunch of foreign thieves.

Saturday I was told to cancel my tee time bc I couldn't finish due to ponds (rain)all over the course. And I was charged 14.15 twice in the very beginning. Sheesh someone contact me [protected]. Shouldn't be this hard to contact customer support... should've read all those reviews before actually booking a time with you sheeeeeeshhhhh pay me back!

Book at Tee time went to course and course was underwater and they said we could walk even though we paid for a cart. Looked at course and it was pretty much all water. Trying to call Golf Now and phone number goes to recording and then hangs up. They charged my CC and there is no way to get a refund. Total BS and I will never use again.

i booked online under Michelle Nenedjian on 04/12 for Bluff Creek for one team of 2 people for 9 holes. I was charged 3 times for the convience fee, all in the same minute and received 3 email confirmations @ michelle.nenedjian@yahoo.com.

Booked tee time for 4, 2 backed out so took them off but I noticed I was still having to pay for 4, tryed to put them back But it wouldn't let me. So I ended up paying for 4 players but only had 2. Then 2 strangers took their spots. So someone got double payed or I paid for 2 strangers. I think I should be refunded for 2 extra players... Thanks

Booked a hot deal, weather got bad so rescheduled for next day. Was charged two times. Customer service claims that I should have played both days even though weather was terrible. Would not refund my extra charge of 207.00. So basically I paid 414.00 for one round of golf. Terrible service, terrible company, will never use them again.

I was charged $99by golfnow for a reservation that I paid for at the course. Confirmation # [protected]. I was charged on July 10th. I played the round on June 24th. I need a refund. I have been on hold for 20 minutes with support and I can't find any where to submit for refund on the Golfnow website.
