Golden Corral products

I have not been out for a while do to cancer and brain surgery and I missed Golden Corral. I was so disappointed cause I spent $65.00 to enjoy a meal with my family and it was nasty. I felt sorry for the people who worked there who had to get on the intercom and tell people to take control of their small children. Small children grabbing food with their hands, that we got up and left the food on the table. I was actually afraid to eat anything due to having cancer and may catch something from the food being handled. Thank you

Golden Corral food

I am a regular customer of Golden Corral in Mary Esther Florida. I go here about once a week and get a to-go box on my lunch break and usually I have no complaints the food is great. I went in today and was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food that I got. The bacon was hard as a rock, the deviled eggs tasted like they had been out there for days, and the fried catfish was rubbery and I couldn't even eat half of it. Very disappointed.

Golden Corral customer service

Just went to Store#0718 in Orlando Florida Ticket#[protected]@12:10pm on 6/30/16(today)the Food yesterday and Service was so good that I came back today with two People. When we arrived the Cashier asked how many? I said 3 of us but only 2 on 1 Ticket She got loud with me and said it don't matter I'm not ringing you up now anyway with an attitude an the other worker who was with her just got together with her and whispered something; We have so much going on with our City and it's so sad that you cant go and pick up something to eat . Golden Corral customer service

Every year our family goes to the Salisbury Golden Corral for Father's Day because my father loves your establishment, we always have a large party (this year 11)because we all take him it corresponds with his birthday within a few days. Every year I call and let the restaurant know I will be bringing a large party and never have I had a problem. I called this year and Alyssa takes the call I explain how many will be in the party she tells me I can't save you tables it will be busy. I explain I call and do this every year because it is a large party. She again says she won't save us tables it will be busy and we won't be seated together if they are busy. Again I ask if something has changed I do this every year so they are aware of our party at this she says I TOLD YOU WE CANT HOLD YOUR TABLE . I always call ahead because of the size of the party as a courtesy so we don't have to wait for a long period of time. I ask for her manager. Another woman gets on the telephone she mumbles her name and then she tells me the same thing that they will seat us where tables are available. I have never had this issue before. I always call ahead because it is a Holiday my father is ill and can't stand for long periods of time. No. I don't want to take my family to dinner and not sit together. Your managers need retraining. Nowhere on your web page does it say that you will not take large parties together. The treatment was reprehensible for a customer service facility. If this is how you train your managers it will be the last year we come to your restaurant for fathers day. I feel your establishment is cultivating the wrong attitude in your managers, without loyal customers you won't have a business that people want to frequent. I called at 845 am to tell they our party would be there between [protected]

The managers do not need retraining, you do. You as a consumer needed to look at that place the last few times you have been to see how busy it is on a holiday. It is a seat yourself facility, not a wait to be seated. They do not take reservations, and they can not, and will not, reserve nonreservable tables. People like you make it impossible to work with the public with your attitudes and unreasonable expectations. For what it costs to eat here you can take your dad to a WAIT TO BE SEATED eatery and avoid treating employees like dogs, unless that is what you aim for.

Golden Corral food quality, service, unsanitary conditions, price

On 02/13/2016 a friend and I went to the Golden corral near I-66 in Manassas, VA at approx. 3:15 PM. We were charged an additional $3 each because it was weekend and told the entrees such as salmon and prime would be available after 4PM. We spent $30 for terrible food, a filthy environment, and horrible customer service

All of the food was overcooked and the vegetables floating in grease. The fold lines lacked any organization and each customer had to elbow their way into a line to get any food being served.

The tables and floors were covered with dirt, wrappers, spilled food etc. The men's room floor was covered with urine. and obviously had not been mopped in hours. The barbecue had the smell and taste on rancid meat. Upon leaving after being to eat no decent food, we approached the manned to complain the entire experience. The manager was curt and obviously could have cared less, She took no interest in our concerns, but wanted to get us out the door ASAP. I asked for our money back and she ignored us.

Golden Corral should be ashamed to provide their customers we should unhealthy and unappetizing food, and should disdain for its customer' s is reprehensible. Hopefully there will be some improvements in food quality and the dining environm4nt after the county health's department's upcoming visit.

Golden Corral theifs

I have a complaint about general manger William Smith. I lost my wallet at you location. A female customer turned it over to William Smith. According to the cashier and one of the male employee that was present when my wallet was turned over to MR. Smith and he was advise that someone lost this wallet and there is a lot of money in it. She handed the wallet to him advising him of this. When MR. Smith gave me my wallet it did not contain my $493.00. I asked him were was the money, because prior to speaking to him, when I came in I asked the cashier did anyone turn in a black wallet. She said yes and that I was very lucky because the lady returned it and inform the manger that there is a lot of money in there and so did one of the male employees. I asked Mr. Smith to come with me to the cashier and I repeated what she said to him. He said yes she did say that but I don't have your money. I said were is it then. He said he put the wallet in the office on desk and did not know if anyone went in the office after he left out. The cashier looked at the both of us as if that was a lie. So I took him over to the other employee work station and began to ask the same question and the gentleman said yes she did tell you that and you took the wallet. Mr. Smith what is the person name that turned over the wallet to you. He could not recall her name only that she is from Williamsburg. The male employee look puzzled and stated he wanted no part of this. I asked for corporate office he gave me [protected]. I called around to get the correct number and his managers name and number. I left a voice mail on Kenny Newman and is waiting for a call back. I'm so upset that a General Manger would do something like this. He did not even want me to look around the dinning area with him to see if the person was inside eating still because it was only about 10-15 minutes when I realized I left my wallet. I did a u-turn on Volvo Parkway to come back to the restaurant. I advised that I just want my money and I wont push this. I can tell by the reaction from the employee that he was lying and they were afraid to say anything in front of him. So I advised that I will be making a complaint and if nothing done I will call the news and bring them back out to location were it happen. I then went out side and waited and asked every one that came out if they turned in a black wallet. I had no luck but when one of your waitress came out she said that the wallet was turned in and the money was in the wallet because people were talking about, the person that lost is lucky that she found it cause they would never gave up that money. The lady was very loud and clear that they need to locate the owner of the wallet because they have a lot of money in it. I just left the bank and got $500.00 out went and got change and left $7.00 tip so the lot of money that everyone is talking about is $493.00. I feel that this manger has the money because everyone has same story but him and the employees action was looking like he lying too you. I will be pushing this further and further. Jehovah God knows that I work hard for my bill money. That's what that money was for. I was going to pay some bills after lunch. Please help with this matter.

So, you were irresponsible and left your wallet, with a lot of money behind, and you accuse someone of taking money out of the wallet you left behind, with no proof? You are lucky you got the wallet back. Next time, be more careful with your valuables.

Golden Corral bad food. poor / no service

I visited the Golden Corral on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, in Rockford, Illinois at approximately 4:59 PM. The cost for my meal, without a drink, was $13.10. The restaurant was not as busy as usual, so I didn’t have to wait in line to pay for my meal or wait to be seated. I have eaten at this location on numerous occasions so I was surprised at how seemingly empty it was. Needless to say, I seated myself in the section directly facing the deserts, but I sat in the rear by the window. A young white couple was seated directly in front of me; an older white couple was seated to my right, and another elderly white couple was seated to my left. From the time I sat down until the time I left, which was approximately 45 minutes later, no one... and I do mean NO one... not a single staff member spoke a single word to me or in any way acknowledged my presence. Seriously, NO server approached my table to introduce themselves (as is customary at Golden Corral and most other eating places). I received no greeting whatsoever, and I was never asked if my food was okay or if I needed anything. However, two different waitresses, on several different occasions did approach the white couples seated to my left, my right and directly in front of me to offer assistance and to ensure their dining needs were being meet. I also watch them stop and talk to other diners in my seating area. I even saw them pour drinks from some and get diner rolls for others. But NO one approached my table. After the couple seated to my left completed their meals and arose to leave, I voiced my dissatisfaction over the lack of service that I had received. I even commented on the fact that everyone else in the area was being served but I was being totally ignored. The wife just smiled and said “bad service does not deserve a tip” and then departed. After completing my meal, I approached the restaurant manager to voice my dissatisfaction of the lack of service and she offered a weak, insincere apology... that’s it. Nothing more. When I return to my table I observed the manager talking to one of the waitresses that I had complained about so I interrupted and said, “You totally ignored me the entire time I was here. You offered assistance to and greeted everyone around me but ignored me like I was invisible.” The server also gave me a very weak, insincere apology as well. So I picked up my receipt, held it high and said, “I need to take this with me so I can file an online grievance.” Both the server and the manager gave me a blank stare so I took my receipt and left, saying, “I will never eat in the restaurant again” and walked out. No one made any attempts to stop me or approach me to inquire about my experience. Besides, the food was horrible. It’s usually pretty good but today it was cold and flavorless, which may explain why the restaurant was half-empty. I did absolutely NOTHING to deserve this kind of mistreatment, so I will NEVER eat at the Rockford, Illinois Golden Corral location again. Update: On Thursday, December 10, 2015, I received a call from a guy claiming to be a District Manager for Golden Corral. After asking about my complaint and hearing my explanation he tried to justify the actions of the wait-staff by saying “one waitress was coming on and the other waitress was leaving.” Imagine that... one waitress was starting her shift and the other waitress was leaving... even thought I sat there for approximately 40 minutes and both waitresses were helping other customers the entire time. In fact, they were both still there when I left. I then stated that I will not be eating there again and hung up. Wow! I get mistreated at the restaurant, ignored by the manager on duty, and then get a call from a District Manager who tries to justify the wait-staff’s actions. This is clearly NOT the kind of company that my associates or I want to do business with.

Golden Corral bad food

Me and my wife never go or recomend any one to even drive by the golden corral food is terrible the the the breakfast oh my god the beacon is always burn evern my dog would not eat that crap if I had one we now find bitter place all u can eat buffet
Its call (carving / station) dont have all all the gunk that golden corral but you would have cheaper finger liken good dinner lunch unburn bacon delicous breakfast

Golden Corral high servers

Very rude and nasty attitude server. Her name was Shakia. Myself and my family came into eat Sunday dinner around 5:30. And it took our server about 45 minutes to greet the table, And when she finally came to the table she looked like she was absolutely rude, and reecked of marijuana smell. The food was cold and the steaks was dry. The managers are also very rude to the employees. One of the serverwas asking him a question and he told her he ain, t got time for no b**** fest...what kind of managers are running this store.

Golden Corral dirty, and poor quality of food

I visited Golden Corral in Pembroke Pines Florida with my wife for dinner. To begin with the area where the steaks was being grilled was dirty, the floor was wet. They only put out a few steaks to grill and the lines was very long. It takes about an hour to get a piece of steak.
The quality of the meat was substandard, a lot of the chicken was burnt. The guy at the grill was very rude, and would not give me my steak well done. It was rare when I got it. I could not eat the meal and left it at the table when they wanted me to move to another table. I will never go to a golden corral again. If the provide such substandard service they will lose a lot of customers. I will submit a complaint to the Broward County Board of health regarding the dirty grill area.

You saw the dirty grill and you still ate there? If its as bad as you say then you are either one sick pup, or a glutton who only wants to stuff their face.

Golden Corral very rude service

Was visiting Golden Corral in Tamarac, Fl.( at intersection by university and commercial) and set down and shared dinner with Monique at table. We had a very deep discussion regarding the perversion going on in this Country and our Faith as Christians, When this one "RUDE" waitress came up w/o an excuse me or appropriate conduct interrupted our conversation---I looked at her and said --"LATTER" She walked off in a "HUFF" and never came back until i called for her...I came in for lunch and sat down, i did not know that rude waitress was serving that section---w/o a hello, how are you, or a friendly smile----this rude waitress said, "Let me see your receipt." Like a police officer after pulling you over for some violation--She made me feel like a "THIEF!" She brought out her friend in mgmt. to get involved... I let her sign receipt and requested another waitress to serve me at that table because the attitude from the "Rude Waitress"should never be tolerated! After I got a new Waitress, she was very polite and considerate and smiled a lot while talking to me. She saved my day and made me feel comfortable. After the meal--I tipped her and came up to her side and placed my hand on her shoulder and thanked her for saving me from that rude waitress and left. Next day i came in for breakfast and noticed the rude waitress all over my server that replaced rude waitress, it appeared very suspicious and afraid she may be talking smack about me----I talked to some of the waitresses to watch that rude waitress for her disrespect towards me. I went to desert bar and she cut me off w/o an "EXCUSE ME"---The woman was simply NASTY.. After talking to one of my friends there, the Mgr. Chester--came up to me accusing me of talking to his waitresses about the rude waitress, I pointed my finger, not close to him but in a manner to make a point--but he interrupted me and accuse me of placing my hand on his waitress which was no more than a friendly side to side hug and a "THANK YOU" for a good job---Mgr. did not want to hear me out--he just said---I am giving your money back and ask you not to come back...Well after that insult--I told Chester I was writing him up. He simply acted like a "SELF-Righteous Premadonna"---I called Corporate to speak to someone to hold Chester and rude waitress accountable for their behavior---Spoke to Lisa Parker and have not heard back from Corp.Receptionist said this one Golden Corral was a privately owned business... And that is why these people treat their customers like dirt.---I do not reccommend anyone eating there because the service is atrocious and mgr. Chester should be suspended and waitress laid off with time to think about her "BAD" attitude!

Treated very rudely by 0ne waitress while having a religious discussion with a fellow christian employee off duty. Without an excuse me interrupted my conversation with Monique and left with a huff and snoot----Later on in week, I came in and sat down and without an hello, how are you, the same waitress came up to me and like a "Police Officer" said--LET ME SEE your receipt---I said --you are making me feel like a thief! She said I need to sign it... I showed her my receipt and asked for another waitress--"I do not like her attitude! I got another waitress and she was new but a lot more "PROFESSIONAL" than the rude waitress. After the meal I was so happy, I went up to the good waitress and placed my arm behind her and hand on shoulder and warmly said"you saved my dinner by being a real professional and tipped her!" And I thanked her! I left and returned for Breakfast and noticed the rude waitress hanging with the good waitress---I suspected her bad mouthing me and talked to waitress--she said nothing- I reported to other waitresses to watch her-very rude! Mgr. came up to me and accused me negatively. Gave my money back and said, do not come back...Reported to Corp. in North Carolina---Lisa Parker--- said it was a private franchise and they can do what they want...Mgr--Chester did not even asked me for anything that happened...I wanted the mgr. to be accountable for his irresponsible behavior---I will not go to this restaurant until this mgr. gets suspended and rude waitress gets laid off.

Golden Corral no food and dirty place

me and my Family got to this place and I spend for diner over $75.00 for everyone to eat and when we go to get food everything is emty no food and it is only 4pm to 5 pm in the afternoon I ask the workers if they are bring out food for dinner they say no sn now I have to eat crums this is not right the workers are rude and they don't care where the cake and stuff is there is only crums and where the ice cream is it is dirty and the ice cream is frozen water not even ice cream I went to get hot fudge and the only thing that was in the fudge container was dead flys this is bad and I told the guy behind the counter he came over and fillrd the container up with new fudge and the dead flys were still in the container wow this is bad. this place has to be looked into for the money people pay there and for the food you get to eat is bad there making money and the people are getting nothing

I tried it out today...have never eaten in any Golden Corral, so this was my first experience. I thought it had to be a good place to eat, since it always looks packed with customers. Wrong! The food was nasty and many containers were empty. I wondered why this placed always looked packed, being that I certainly did not enjoy it and will never go there again. Obviously some folks just do not know what good food is. I should have just cruised to Ultimate Buffet...my original destination, instead on trying out this place. Live and learn.

Golden Corral dirty

This was second visit to golden corral here in Conway Arkansas. Both times I have found dirty trays or silverware when it should be clean for customers. Also this time I went to use the woman's rest room. It was nasty. The stainless steel doors had finger prints all on them. There was food on the stainless steel doors like ice cream. The trash under the sink was over flowing . The toilet had to be flushed. Sinks could of used a touch up and floor could have been mopped.

Golden Corral bad service, stupid waitress, rude kept staring and getting in the way, makes dining experience terrible..

this is a golden corral on alafaya/colonial...the idiots that work at this palce are just bullies and treat customers like crap. Many people that work at golden corral seem to be very stupid, have the IQ of a donut, have no common sense, basic manners or service skills, are low class and rude... I went to eat there adn the stupid waitress, name was katelyn was just rude, stupid and kept staring at me and my party. she kind of wouldn't stop staring/annoying us or bothering. She was stupid and rude and made comments that made no sense. At one point I couldn't eat and was feeling nauseous because her constant staring and coming near the table was getting really irritating. Its' liek she wasn't leaving us alone...constnatly coming near the table for no reason and just giving me dirty looks, and trying to get in my space and botehr me and it worked...and it was intrusive and strange and kind of getting in our space and giving negative energy off. In the beginning I asked her for some things and she didn't bring them and forgot...and was careless and just didn't care at all. This idiotic [censored] was also giving rude looks, and I felt as if I was being bullied and throwing negative energy towards me as she came by most of the time...Ive been to golden corral many times and havent had a problem with this before...Finally she asked some stuipd question and I told her no, and then moved...to another table because it's liek I couldn't eat in peace...i was starting to get really sick of her annoying rudeness and constant bothering and staring...I litearlly could not eat or have a peaceful time. She seemed aggravated that I was still sitting there while she was trying to clean up...and was just being so pathetic and nasty...I moved to another table, and noticed that some other stupid employees working in the back were equally just rude or weird...a lot of low class idiots and ###s work at that place apparently...they seem to be rude to customers for no reason. When I moved to another table, there were two managers sitting on another table kind of across the room and one of the managers then began staring at me intently... like really? i just moved to get away from a stupid nasty stupid rude server and then this manager is staring at me oddly...it was just a few minutes, but still it was strange and quite a strange stare...why stare for no reason? i felt as if I did something wrong and was just getting this odd attention... maybe the manager was looking because I had moved, but the waitress's attitude was uncalled for... why are the idiots at this golden corral so unprofessional pathetic and rude? why are they making customers dining experiences so bad? I couldn't even eat there in peace I was literally being mistreated by some of the staff there ridiculously...
I've always hated golden corral, mostly for the crappy environment and bad atmosphere of crowds with stupid people, low quality food, and some of the bad staff, but ive never been there and literally felt sick to my stomach and my space invaded by rude servers who just couldn't control themselves from being [censored]es...
golden corral sucks now for many more reasons...sometimes you can't even eat at that palce without being bombarded with rudeness from the pathetic low class idiots that work at that terrible place...

I find it humorous that a person who does not have a firm grasp on the basics of grammar calls others stupid. This complaint is one run-on sentence after another. The consistent misspelling of simple words is further proof of the limited intelligence of the author. This individual radiates the epitome of "low class".

Golden Corral manager encourages bad behavior

Me and my family dined at the Golden Corral in Merriville, indiana on Fathers Day.I asked an employee i observed standing around since the last 30 min for a re-fill on my beverage.I was surprised when she ignored me, and appaulled when she blurted out "Im not gettng nobody nothing that aint tippin me!"

This was directed to another employee who i observed was on her lunch break wit a cast on her leg.So this worker looked at me then the rude employer and left her lunch to hop up to service me.I was furious and decided to call a manager the following day. Well no luck here either, This woman asked for the name of the person who was suppose to service my table so that she could repermand him and the rude employee.Totally ignoring the entirety of my complaint but making it all about why the woman didn't have to service me, forgetting the fact of the employees RUDENESS about the TIP.

Golden Corral hair in food

Sunday Feb. 26, 2012 my husband and I visited Golden Corral for dinner. As we sat and ate, I noticed a hair in and on my slice of pizza. I motioned the waitress to come forth and showed her the hair. She had the manager of the restaurant to assist us. The manager stated that the hair must have come from a customer because all of the staff in back have short hair. Then she apologized for the incident and offered a fresh pizza. I said no thank you I lost my appetite. She said that she understood. She then offered a free dine in coupon for our next visit, I said ok, but the hair is embedded in the pizza. meaning it had to have been cooked in. Manager still apologizing, but no refund was given. My husband and I walked out.

Let's recap. She apologized, offered to have a fresh pizza made for you, and offered a free coupon for next time. I'd say the manager did more than enough here.

Golden Corral rude mamager

I was a regular three times a week customer, also bringing family/friends w/me. I will NOT be back to hamptons golden corral. The store its self has been in a disseray for a long time now, things now seem to be on a uphill slide getting new managers in, except for one. I have complained and others as well about the bakery women in the blue shirt. very loud and rude. You can hear her business thru the restaurant. She never smiles so unwilling to help, lets you know shes busy doing her work. I see cameras throughout the store, is there a reason no one else is seeing this? I ask my server all the time why do they keep someone like that. The saying is true in Hampton...one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. I guess shes more important with her rudeness than the customers coming in and spending money! someone needs to paymore attention to camera tapes to see how customers are treated in there, then maybe they would see why their business is down!
