I canceled my service in 2015 and then received a bill on 12/1/15. When I received my credit card bill I called to complain and I was promised a refund. In June, after not receiving a refund for 4 months I called again. I was told that it was to late to receive a refund and denied any record of the earlier complaint. He assured me that Go Daddy would not be contacting me again as the account was closed. Guess what, on 12/1/16 I received another bill and again I have been told that nothing can be done. This person eventold me that there were no records of previous contacts. My advise is to run fast if you ever hear their name,

I got the services for a year and didn't intend to renew however, I get charged for renewal and up on calling I was told there is no way to get a refund.

I am pretty confident I have cancelled my services before it is due for renewal.

The interesting thing is that the website builder which is the most expensive of the tree, is what you wouldn't usually need it except the first time you build the website and even that one is setup for auto renewal without me being prompted.

I called GoDaddy and it seems like they don't even have a complaint department.

Furthermore, please note, that I did not use the services of godaddy.com, neither intended to do so when the transfer has been made.

I would like to recommend investing in a Industrial Organizational Psychologist. Two very indecorous individuals attempted to provide support for importing a locally developed Wordpress site. Rather it be that the individuals themselves lack interpersonal skills, or the training program is not built to enforce interpersonal skills, your support has fallen short in this area. Their ability to solve issues that are not encountered often, seems to be a problem as well.(An aspect often applied in well designed training programs, commonly referred to as over-learning.) It seems that these two individuals felt the appropriate response to unfamiliarity, was to belittle and question my decisions. Frankly, I felt as if personally ability was displayed, rather than support. As a female, this is not the first time this has happened, nor will it be the last. I am more than happy with the functionality of Plesk Hosting, this is purely an HR issue. Thank you for your time.

I would really like someone to take control on this and get it done, it's been over a month, and I would like to be funded for domain and costs up until this point. I have not even had a courtesy email from anyone to tell me they are working on it. If this is not fixed by close of play tomorrow I'll have to swap providers. God knows how you guys got a reward for customer service - it just seems no one is interested and people shuffle problems to someone else, who don't even communicate. Frustrating start. I would like an answer on getting reimbursed please - just not ignored.

(I am trying to validate my domain .cn, and the validation online method is broken.)

I'm Harshavardhan, representing Techurate Systems Private Limited (Customer ID - 370 610 17), a Company based in Bangalore, India. None of our emails sent to Clients at foreign countries are getting delivered. There was huge opportunity lost since one of the important proposals which we sent didnt get delivered to the Client.

When tried contacting Godaddy customer support the response was " we cant do anything about it" and when the issue was escalated one gentle man Mr.Manish advised to inform all our clients to white-list our IP. It is practically impossible to call every customer (since emails are not going through) and advise them. We wanted to escalate the issue to the next level, however the gentleman on call said he will arrange a call back with in one hour and no one called us back. Today is the third consecutive day we have followed up with customer care. The response is completed unsatisfactory.

My website builder was set on auto pay for almost 10 years. Recently, the year on my credit card changed and the autopay this month was declined. I logged onto my account, fixed the credit card info, placed the website builder product in my cart before I went to sleep. I woke up this morning to an email from godaddy that was time stamped 12:40 am, saying my product is in the cart and ready to be paid for. So I log on and go to my cart and website builder is nowhere to be found. I call godaddy c/s who informed me that along with my renewal fee I would have to pay $60 to have my website restored! This company is HORRIBLE and they don't care about their customers. I've done business with them for almost a DECADE and this is how I am treated.

You have renewed a domain without my authorisation (mftiling.co.uk)

I didn't receive confirmation of the renewal as I no longer use the email address associated with that domain, in fact I haven't even accessed the website for over 2 years and completely forgot about it.

The only way I knew that the domain had renewed was via payment from my paypal account of just over $30. I sent a request with GoDaddy to cancel the domain and get a refund.

I received an email on 20th October (after locating my old old email address account details) saying that I am not entitled to a refund as the domain auto renewed, well I wonder how many other customers you are ripping of due to the auto-renew feature, I guess at thousands!

To say that I am outraged is an understatement, surely you must know that peoples circumstances change and 5 years is a long time! maybe you should review your auto-renew policy!

Should I not get my refund I will be taking this further until the issue is resolved as I don't see why I should have to pay for something that is no longer required, especially for the next 3 years which is what you have now charged me for.

Rest assured I'll be making sure that none of my future clients will be using your services and I'll ensure that any of my customers that are currently using your services, move at renewal and also remove the auto-renew from their accounts so that you don't rip them off as well!

I want the domain cancelling and I want my refund..I have also already logged the issue with Nominet and will continue to pursue this matter until the issue is fully resolved.

Worst email service for the last 5+ months!

We are unable to send any emails from our mobile phones . . and the SMTP options regularly require changes on PC and Mac devices. Right now I have spent over 60 minutes talking to Go Daddy's Customer Support in India, person named M Mujeebuddin . . and the technical team failed to resolve the issue.

We waited for 15 minutes for Go Daddy's email servers to respond and we received the "The connection has timed out" issue on all domains held with Go Daddy.

How does Go Daddy expect its customers to use their service and continue to renew / repay for such poor experience? Go Daddy is hurting our business as we fail to connect internally and externally with our stakeholders and clients.

Finally the customer care has asked us to check the problem with the internet service provider. WHAT?!?!?!?! IS THIS A JOKE? Unbelievable!

GoDaddy does not unlock my domain even when I provided all the details. Company suggested me to wait for 60 days. I would like to enforce that I did not changed the contact details. Please see message below.

Is go daddy too big to fail?

I say yes. As a client of “go daddy” since 2000, they have failed me. With the size of their company, many departments to which they can pass the buck and their flock of attorneys, they can’t fail but i, the small business owner, can’t win. Even though they created a situation that resulted in my complete loss of presence on the internet, they met my complaint with gross indifference.

Through our own negligence, in 2013 we failed to renew our domain name. Over the next 2 ½ years we received few if any calls from the internet and were sustained only by referrals from past clients and our referral base that gave prospective clients our phone number bypassing our web site. Only in june 2016 did we find out we no longer had any web site presence at all. This is our saga.
Timeline of events
1. Since mid 2013, karen arnoff and the dog - owner connection paid go daddy in advance and with additional fees for protection to host the new domain and website.
2. Over the next 2 1/2 yrs. We received few if any calls from the web.
3. In 2016, karen started receiving invoices from go daddy. Confused, because of the above mentioned precautions, karen’s assistant, renee, called go daddy to find out what the invoices were for. She called on the following dates: 3/14/16, 4/11/16, 5/2/16, 6/7/16 (3 times) and 6/14/16. Initially, renee was told that the account was paid in full and they did not know what the $84 bill was for. Only in june did she find out there was serious trouble.
4. In june, 2016, karen tried to go to her website but could not find it. When karen’s assistant called go daddy again she was assured by the agent that karen still owned thedogownerconnection.com. The representative then looked into the records and said we had been hosting for 2 1/2 years, dogownerconnection.com (Not thedogownerconnection) which expired in 2016. We informed him that, since mid 2013, we no longer owned that domain name (Which go daddy knew) and that the payments we made in advance were strictly limited to supporting the domain site thedogownerconnction.com, the new domain name which was advised by their go daddy representative in mid 2013. This current go daddy representative then looked further and found that in error, thedogownerconnection.com was put as a sub - account of the defunct dogownerconnection.com and when dogownerconnection.com hosting was cancelled (Because we no longer owned it) , thedogownerconnection.com was also cancelled.In all the inquiries we had been making were never explained to my assistant or anyone else at the dog - owner connection. Renee then asked the representative if he could retrieve the website and he said he could not because go daddy only held onto the website for a month and the website was discarded 5/28/2016. As a result of go daddy’s errors, any inquiries made to thedogowerconnection.com had been forwarded to the new york domain – the domain we lost in 2013. This resulted in karen arnoff and her business being completely deprived of any web visibility for almost three years.

7.In summary:
A. Go daddy erroneously put thedogownerconnection.com as a sub - account of a website karen no longer owned.
B. Go daddy received 2 ½ years of payments and applied them to a site karen no longer owned.
C. Because of go daddy errors, karen’s website traffic was forwarded to another site.
D.In march, 2016 go daddy erroneously informed renee that everything was okay with the dog - owner account and they could not account for the $84 invoice she was receiving.
E.In june, 2016. Go daddy erroneously cancelled thedogownerconnection.com website and discarded the unique contents of that website.
F. Since mid 2013, karen has had diminished and virtually zero presence on the web resulting in, as yet, uncalculated loss of business.
We made the following request for go daddy compensatory actions:
1. Immediately assign a go daddy account manager to stay with karen arnoff and its staff, melvin arnoff and renee throughout the whole process to work to develop without charge, a new website for the dog owner connection.com to optimize and attract new business that would appear on page 1 of google and all other major search engines and continue monthly to revise the website as needed so that, if not initially on page 1, it continues to rise to that point and continue this for no less than three years.
2. The new website should be in a format easily revised by karen and staff.
3. Go daddy should attach links to make this site more easily found.
4. Go daddy should list this site with yahoo. Local and all other major locals.
5. Go daddy should host this site free of charge for three years.
6. Go daddy should assist in getting this site on youtube and other social media to make the dog - owner connection’s presents known as quickly as possible...
7. Go daddy should be in contact with karen no less than monthly to assess these actions.
8. In addition, karen would like go daddy to develop a website for her legal and forensic work with dogs.

Instead of offering about $2, 000 worth of services to us (Much less expensive to go daddy) we were met with complete indifference by the company’s representative and told us to get an attorney if we wanted to try to get any compensation.
If not for a fantastic, compassionate and competent employee who intelligently research the history to help find out what had happened and an offer to credit us $168. 00 for two years of defunct hosting; (Which is all he could do) i would have lost all faith in humans let alone big business.
What are the recourses for “the little” person against big companies with lots of recourses and attorneys.
The only thing i know to do is to take it to the public, social media, the federal trade commission (Ftc.Gov) , yelp, comsumeraffairs.com, /link removed/ the better business bureau complaintsboard.com, the investigative reporters over various t. V. Stations, the bbb consumer complaints, godaddypistconsumer.com forbs.com, webhostingtalk.com, the antigodaddy.com, complaint. Tvnews, consumer watchdog, consumer action: help desk, consumer watch dog and other organizations. What would you do?
Is ‘godaddy to big to fail’? Go daddy “is the world’s largest web host and domain name registrar. Perhaps they can’t fail. But, when they err with a small business client, can that client win. Based on my experience, i don’t think so. .

One of the lovely sales people at GoDaddy convinced me to switch from email using Workspace (outdated) to Office 365. Worst mistake ever made. She didn't tell me to backup my Workspace email which led to GoDaddy having to do migration for me. Then after that was done...my website stopped working. My website is hosted by Wix. GoDaddy keeps blaming Wix and Wix is blaming GoDaddy for setup issues. My website has been down for SEVEN DAYS now without any resolution and every time I speak to someone, they say "that should fix it. It will work now". IT'S STILL NOT WORKING. Lesson learned...if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Last time I upgrade something with GoDaddy and once this works, I will transfer service because I'm sick of calling them every day without resolution. I am losing money each day that it is down.

Godaddy.com not a good service at all. When I call customer service, the do not know the answers, they put me on hold for 15 or more, and again there is no right answer, because they do not know and auctioneers. I sold the host 2 domains, 20 days, we did not pay and changed the price in their favor that they should have to pay me. I called them three times a day and sent many emails but nothing helped. I sent the email to MR. Blake but he did not reply.
They sent me to renew my domains if they have already been renovated. One domain is missing from my list. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE, they are lying

5/16/16 I signed up for web hosting with Go-DADDY on 4/14/16, which is what I was told I would need to have a website. I am now working with a web designer that told me to cancel my web hosting as they do that as part of my price.

So I called to cancel or at least get an adjustment for my 2 year contract. I was told that because I was out of the refund policy period that there was nothing they could do. 30 days, as you can see I am 2 days out.

I was willing to pay for the time that I had "no used", but 2 years for something I won't use at all?

I set up a .au domain in Feb, 2016 and immediately transferred the domain management to GoDaddy and a couple of days later the domain was available and I started work on it. After 3 months, I linked a logo to my paypal account and paypal kept coming back and not displaying the logo, so I connected to my site to find out that the site was not available and "coming soon" and having prepaid 2 years of hosting I contacted support by phone. After being advised that I had a 20 minute wait I started up a chat session and after a couple of minutes I was on to an agent.

The agent did some research and found that my DNS record was pointing to the DNS servers for the registrar that I originally transferred the domain from to GoDaddy. Now because the registrar was no longer authorised to manage my DNS record I was basically provided with a "coming soon" page.

Whilst chatting with the GoDaddy support person I said that I wanted to have someone explain to me how my DNS record was changed and I was told that they do not do that and then asked if I had another question to ask, so I said yes. I wanted to escalate this problem immediately with that person's supervisor. Whilst waiting for the supervisor I logged in to the GoDaddy Domain Manager page and I saw exactly what I was told, my DNS was pointing to the original registrar's DNS server so I changed it to the default DNS servers for GoDaddy web hosts. Anyway I got on to the supervisor and by now I was able to reconnect to my site as GoDaddy's records were fixed. This also proved that the error that had been in place for 3 days was not propagated as I could access the site immediately. Then I was told by the supervisor that their records claim that there was no change to my record and that the DNS records had not been changed at all and this really go me mad as my site was down for who knows how long and it was the result of an error at GoDaddy, so how is it possible that no-one there cares. So, I asked for this to be escalated again and got the "Front of Site chat/Online Experience department supervisor". The supervisor was very slow, barely provided any information and then came back and said that the records were unchanged and the only changes DNS are the one I originally made 3 months earlier when I transferred the domain to them and the change I had made today and there was no record that the domain was pointing to the wrong DNS servers. Well I was horrified by this and I could not understand how they could not be concerned about this as if this could happen to one site, couldn't it happen to many sites?

Anyway, after a long circular argument I was told that I someone who had access to my account must have made the change (even though there is no record of this change on their audit logs), does anyone else see the problem or is it only me?
