A debt collection company, Global United Arbitration, left an intimidating message on my answering machine for my adult daughter who does not live with me. The message did not state that the call was from a debt collector. When I called the return number to tell them my daughter did not live here and that I do not have her contact information, the woman I spoke to proceeded to tell me 'That's unfortunate because she is being prosecuted for felony bank fraud and felony theft by check for a payday loan she had defaulted on in 2011.' My call was then forwarded to Mr. Phil Bifulco who is the owner of Global United Arbitration. Mr. Bifulco repeated the accusations that felony crimes had been committed and that he would be prosecuting her Monday if the matter was not resolved.
Global United Arbitration LLC, is in Alden New York, not Alden Michigan.
There was not enough room on the original post. I will continue here in the comment section. After restating the false accusations of felony bank fraud and felony theft by check and his intent to prosecute, Mr Bifulco asked me if I would like to 'cover this for her and help her out.' It is clearly evident from the illegal threats and false accusations this was nothing more than a shake down...EXTORTION.

13432 North Road Alden, N.Y. 14004. The owner of the company is Phil Bifulco. I have spoken to an attorney in Texas about filing a lawsuit against him for illegal debt collection practices.
Please, get an attorney who handles FDCPA violations. These attorneys take cases like this on a contingency basis. No fee unless they recover money for you. Their fees are paid by the illegal debt collector. Taking a stand against these bottom feeders is taking a stand for your rights and the rights of others. We have to fight back, or else just watch these ### pick the the very flesh off of our bones.

I was called three times this evening. Each time I hung up when I heard the name of the group. On the fourth call, I played along just to see what was going on. Each time they called they gave me different last four digits of my SS#. They claimed to be Global Services Group out of Chicago. Claiming I had defrauded a financial Institute of $500. and writing a bad check for $750. I asked for the dates that this happened, she couldn't give me any, I also asked to speak to her supervisor, he was in a meeting. I finally had enough. I told her that was she was doing was extorting money from people which could land her ### in prison for 20 years. I asked her who would take care of her children while she sat in Prison? She got rude towards me and told me that I was being mean. I shot back that I was calling the police in her city, (which I did). I told her that if she ever called my number again I'd find her myself and then who's gonna be sorry. Can't believe people really fall for this stuff.
For anyone needing to find out whom this Global United Scam Group is, I called the city they are located in and filed a police report.. Here is all the real and verified information. Suggest you call the city and file your own complaint.. Time for them to understand what the law is

The city that they are located in is Depew New York, I Spoke the the Mayors office, very nice person named Sue. Maybe if more people call their, these scam artist and defrauders will be arrested.

Just saw this thread. I received a threating phone call from a private courier service (didn't reveal name) saying they were going to serve me at my work, and this was after they got through to my HR dept...how embarassing! The courier's number was blocked and the number she gave me was to GUA.
They even called my mom at 7am today and said they were the IRS looking to arrest me.

A "Mike Simons" called me my cell phone regarding my estranged brother. He said he was coming by my mother's home with important legal papers. He made it sound like my brother was dead. I asked him if my brother was dead and he said no, that he was okay, he just needed to get him to sign some legal papers otherwise my brother would be arrested. I did not know how to get a hold of my brother, haven't talked to him in years. "Mike" asked me to pass along the number [protected] ext 406 if and when I see my brother. How the heck did they get my cell phone number? Why are they going to my mother's home? I decided to call the number and was connected with a "Ryan Taylor" who then told me they were looking for my brother because he must appear in court. I asked "Ryan" and GUA never to call my number again, and that my number is registered on DO NOT CALL. In a very mean voice he said he had every right to call third parties, relatives, regarding arrest warrants. He agreed to not call again, only after I asked him not to call. Otherwise, "Ryan" said he could call me as often as he wanted. As far as I am concerned, this behaviour is illegal, harassment.
