7/16 OSB
I purchased this product from BDC in Williamston, NC 27892 and they had stacks of it in stock. The quality is so bad you can't nail it or screw it with it flaking apart. And its not glued out to the ends. Its bad enough you rape us on the price, and now to make it worse your product has become sub standard. I guess this is a direct reflection of company management these days. A company is judged by it's product. I guess the American dream has become a nightmare in lue of quality. Even the building supply comments on your poor quality. Guess its a waste of time even trying to get you to correct the problem since even the building supply has negative thoughts on your quality that continues to go down hill.
Desired outcome: Fix your quality issues or sell to someone who can. I have no desire to buy nor promote your product any longer.
Quilted Northern
My family has bought countess bulk packages of bath tissue from your company. We have bought this on bulk because we take care of multiple households with several people. My aggravation is that on the out side of the roll it looks fine, but after your have began to use the tissue the quality of the product decreases. Drastically. This has been constant with every roll and every package. I have bought 7 cases of bath tissue that coated me about 23-24$ each. That is about 170.00 that I have waisted on this product.
Desired outcome: I would like to have my money backMy email is team.[protected]@gmail.comMy phone number is [protected]
23/32 T&G Plywood Underlayment
Purchased 18 sheets from Lowes in Pineville, La. on 4/21/23.
After getting it home and starting the install. The sheeting couldn’t be squared up with adjacent sheets. Panels have a 5/16” banana cut and have a finished face width of 47 3/8”. I determined this by placing two sheets on level ground and putting the two groove joint’s together. The ends touch and there is a 5/16” gap in the middle. I previously ran the spec saw at a plywood plant for 7 years making this sheeting weekly. I went back to Lowes and explained the issue to the store personnel but I don’t think they comprehended what I was saying. Please get back to me.
Desired outcome: I am only building a small shed so I took a chalk line and squared up the panels so as to not hold up my progress. Doing this I lost my t&g benefit and cost me an extra 10 hrs work. I would like a refund of the plywood.
Brawny paper towels tear a square, 8 = 24
I worked in QA all my life and wanted you to know this problem. We have used Brawny paper towels for a long time now and never had a problem. for the last TWO multiple packs (tear a square) the perforations are all but non-existant. Its frustrating to get a piece of towel torn from the roll. We always buy bulk or larger packages. We are hoping that this doesn't continue as we are wasting as much as we use.
The bar code numbers are: [protected]. I have saved the last plastic wrap in case you need more info.
Desired outcome: Well the info would help fix the problem. I'm guessing that the problem is already caught by an Inspector. It would be a nice jesture to compensate for the frustration of tearing the product.

Brawny paper towels
I ordered two large packs of paper towels through Amazon and was told they would be delivered on April 5th to my home in NJ. The post office is claiming they never received the goods from your warehouse in Georgia. As a result, we never received the items. We live at 91 Walnut St West, Mahwah, NJ 07430.
We would like replacements sent directly to our address as soon as possible.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
John C Bianchi

Plant manager
The new plant manager was very unethical as well as rude when today november 14th the plant manager went up to a brand new hire who was there to attend new hire orientation and fussed at him for smoking in his car. The new hire had not yet recieved a handbook nor told any policies on smoking on the premises. He then escorted him to the human resources dept and told them not to hire him. He is a ex police officer who worked hard to get this job. Now the staffing service is ignoring and calls and emails from the new hire. This is at the madison ga plant. This is completely unacceptable and will be reported to ever newspaper and tv news that will listen. That isnt how u treat new employees who are just then getting there.
Company truck
I live in the area of the new geogria pacific company. Located in monroe louisiana in the community of (swartz). I have heard on several mornings a truck on hwy 594 (where we live) just blowing the horn non stop! This morning I just happened to be pulling the garbage container to the curb. So I see the truck this time and it is doing the exact same thing. I looked there was nothing in its path and whoever the driver was, he or she is blowing this horn non - stop. This is a nice quiet area getting use the trucks on a daily basis was an adjustment that is life! But to continue to hear a horn being blow from a large truck for no apparent reason is disturbing! This happens between 7am and 7:45 am. We would appreciate your assistance in any way possible. Thank you. My email is [protected]@gmail.com
Pom toilet paper 2ply 473 sheets
I have been purchasing POM toilet paper made by GP from Sams stores. There has been several rolls that are not 2 ply as the box indicates. This last box I purchased has turned up 1 ply in every roll. I thought about going to the place I purchased but I do not believe they would resolve this on going problem. I would like to bring it to your attention hoping this can be resolved. What can you do to compensate the difference of the missing sheets of toilet paper. I have been buying this product for many years and have yet to see a complete box that contains the amount of paper specified on the box.

Sold moldy toilet paper
Bought moldy & infected toilet paper from Angle Soft a Georgia-Pacific CO. They said sorry have a nice F... day. The company had me send them the remaining unused product.. after weeks of phone calls to them they finally stated Yes it was a little black with fungus but its ok.. I ended up with a staph infection & lots of medical & lost wages costs. But Angle Soft Does not care about consumers...They would not even discuss reimbursement of the cost of the product, not to mention all medical costs... They are the worst company I have ever dealt with & BUYER BEWARE of all Georgia- Pacific merchandise
Northern toilet tissue
I would just like to add my concurrence to the list of other consumers who are not happy about the 1/2 inch reduction in width in Northern toilet tissue. My family has always bought Northern because it is clearly superior in every aspect to other brands. But the new rolls do not fit well on a standard t.p. roller, they resemble adding machine paper in appearance now, and the smaller format is harder to use, in my opinion. I would like to encourage Georgia Pacific to listen to their (loyal) consumers, and reinstate the 4-1/2 inch roll before we all abandon Northern for another brand.

Reduced quantity/& clever & marketing
Georgia Pacific/Northern's "clever marketing", shortening the rolls (same price) thinking we consumers wouldn't notice, is backfiring: many of us ARE noticing. I will not buy this product until, or unless, they decide to change this policy. This product was purchased from Sams Club, which has several other options for purchase of competitors' products.
I submitted this complaint to QuiltedNorthern.com; it was forwarded to Georgia-Pacific Consumer Response Center. Herewith their response...I had to laugh... What I need is coupons and plaudits for my "loyalty" to Georgia Pacific! Apparently this was read by a Real Person who didn't comprehend our language, or maybe got paid per response.
"Thank you for contacting the Georgia-Pacific Consumer Response Center. Georgia-Pacific places tremendous importance on the feedback we receive from our consumers.
"We appreciate your interest in our products. It is our pleasure to mail discount coupons for our product (s) to the address you provided. In addition, coupons may also be available in your local newspapers and retailer's advertisements for additional offers throughout the year.
"Again, thank you for your loyalty to Georgia-Pacific.

Northern Bathroom Tissue
Purchased Northern.. Opened the package and how the rolls are shorter. Look like something for a childs bathroom. I now understand this is the new plan from Northern.. Called and was told.. this was an economic move... well I am not purchasing Northern anymore so that should help them tremendously.

SOFT & STRONG 16 PACKAGE: HORRIBLE STUFF, MORE THAN HALF OF THE ROLLS WERE DEFECTIVE, LIKE SANDPAPER! THE PLY'S DID NOT COME OFF THE ROLL EVENLY. WOULD NEVER BUY NORTHERN AGAIN.
Please be aware that Brawny's "new" paper towels leave a terrible lint residue on anything and everything.
There was a time when I would only use Brawny because of their towel size and they were basically lint-free.
The new towels, though softer, are full of lint that make things look nasty and unclean.
Clean windows with the paper towels and you will find the lint left behind by the towels.
I have a black porcelain slow cooker that I washed and dried with the "New" Brawny and the lint residue left behind was unbelievable. I had to wash the cooker again to get rid of it.
I threw the rest of the roll away and bought another brand not known for lint.
If you are an avid Brawny fan and have a Big Lots store nearby, you can still find the original Brawny paper towels there.
Also, go to the Brawny website and register a complaint with the manufacturer, Georgia-Pacific.
I won't be buying my old standby, Northern, either. It's insulting to the consumer's intelligence for GP to think making a longer roll that's narrower is a good buy. It makes the toilet paper holder look like you put Barbie's TP on it. How much narrower do think they will go before you have to use the entire roll for one wipe?
Just called Georgia Pacific and the rep totally denied that their product is smaller. Call [protected]. I, too, will never buy their product again.
Complain to the companies. Scott has shrunk their rolls too. Send your complaint to Scott on the form at http://www.scottbrand.com/community/contact or call telephone numbers [protected] or [protected]. Ask where you can still buy the previous size rolls.
I agree with the above complaints. After finding out that all tissues were the same size - width wise- I decided to give Northern another chance. BIG mistake. The quality has gone down tremendously. I was a user of Norther tissue for m, any years, but no more.
Angel Soft also has smaller sheets...it's not just Northern! And, we're paying higher prices! Economic move? For G-P ONLY! This company is doing nothing but cheating the customers!
I hate Northern. It disolves during use, and sticks to you like cotton candy does to your moist fingers. It falls apart like it's made of compressed dryer lint. It also leaves wads in between your cheeks.
We're now using the Ultra Premium Member's Mark brand from Sam's Club. The sheets haven't shrunk and this TP is very soft and has substance.
Nightmare
My home showed signs of defective siding a few years ago.The siding was installed when the house was built, the house is only 17 years old. Now it is deteriorating at rapid speed; I actually woke up last night hearing noises, only to find out that hunks of rotting siding had fallen off the house, exposing the wood and insulation underneath. Apparently there was a class action suit against the company but I never received any info. Georgia Pacific said they would contact me and send a person out to inspect, but in a letter they sent, said they would determine the amount of damage and only replace the areas that are noticeably damaged. This is a defective product that is destroying my entire home, and the product needs to be replaced entirely. I believe they should pay for the underlying damage that it has caused to the frame of the home, labor included. I cannot sit and wait for them to take their time doing anything about it. I am so worried that my house is going to fall apart and I need help. I cannot afford the amount of money it will cost to fix this. The irony of it is, is that they also they not recoup any damages that I repair myself until they send someone out to assess the damage.

False Reporting
Georgia Pacific indoctrinates it's employees with a Market Based Management (MBM) program which is designed to keep the communication to external agencies consistent. The guiding principles of MBM are
that the company acts with integrity by conducting all affairs lawfully, strives for compliance 100% and that
the organization acts with humility and respect. If an external agency were to ask any questions regarding the actual behavior of the company, the employee is trained to respond with the mantras of the MBM program.
My experience as an employee inside GP is that the company routinely acts outside the boundaries of Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the rulings of the Federal Accounting Standards Board (FASB).
The company is short-term managed by executive level employees who are trained in production and have little accounting knowledge, but have the authority to manage the accounting of the books to achieve their financial metrics. As a corporate controller with 15+ years of disciplined accounting practice and education I was surprised that a corporation as large as Georgia Pacific could actively create their own accounting policies and procedures which are not consistent with GAAP/FASB but are developed so the company can report higher earnings.
As I reviewed the books of the company and discovered the obvious accounting errors, I documented the problems and quantified the magnitude of the required adjustments. I reported the errors to the General Manager and the Regional Controller of the company. My expectation was that the errors would be reviewed and corrected with large unfavorable journal entries.
The company made the decision that it did not want to take the financial hit and made the decision to fast track me out of the company. The GM and the Regional Controller began a rapid campaign to document me out of the company by making false claims against by character and performance which were completely unfounded. I was fired within weeks of reporting the accounting abnormalities. I have discovered that I was the fourth controller in five years to be fired from this same Georgia Pacific location. All of the preceeding Controllers left under a dark cloud and were accused of not following the company policies & procedures.
In addition to firing me without cause, the company short paid my vacation and terminated my benefits immediately. The company offered COBRA to me three weeks after I was fired and after all my medical, dental and life insurance had been terminated. The doctor and dental offices cancelled my wife's appointments and have refused to set new appointments without a cash down payment. The COBRA premium of $950 per month
was already past due when I received the application notice. GP also has set up a medical savings account which is funded fromthe employee paycheck as automatic withdrawls. The fund expires at the end of the year and the company takes all the money deposited in the account which was not used by the employee.
In short, I am writing this complaint to any perspective applicant to Georgia Pacific. The company treats it's
employee's with no humanity. The corporate decisions favor the bottom line of the company at the expense of the employee. Promised bonus's are not paid, vacations are not paid for and the company requires that the managers work 60-80 hours per week (including Saturdays and some Sundays). Executive Managers down grade the peformance of the middle managers so that they can get a larger piece of the tiny bonus pool.
The company routinely broadcasts plant closings and layoff's and creates an atomoshere of fear and intimidation which is used by executive management to get more days and hours of work from the middle management. The executive managers encourage lower level managers to report against their middle managers.
I would not recommend to anyone to waste their time and effort working for Georgia Pacific.

Georgia Pacific bought out the company I worked for. Years later GP was bought by Koch Ind. The working conditions got steadily worse with constant threats, intimidation, deterioration of all benefits, ie, ins., holidays, premium pay, profit sharing, and wage gains. The management encouraged worker to worker disharmony and was markedly anti-Union in sentiment and action.
I retired after 24 years there and was never so happy to have a life change. I pity my coworkers still needlessly suffering the humiliation necessary to keep good paying employment. The Company as a whole has sees no value in its employees.
Happily retired in Oregon
I worked for gp in 1984 to 1988. I worked as an Auditor and loved it. It's because I was young at heart though. I'm looking for old friends/associates that may know me that worked at the distribution centers or at head quarters.. I just want to say hi, or facebook me or whatever! My name is Kirona. If you ever heard of my name you will never forget me.
Thanks
Kirona
I am an engineer, just left the company after five years. I did not get a penny raise in five years. NO bonus, NO nothing. I spend three days travelling every week and put in at least 50 hours of work every week. I never had any training except for the MBM.
I will discourage any one from working for Georgia Pacific except if you are starving even then i will think twice.
If can avoid working for GP or deal with them as a customer know one thing. They will screw you sooner or later.
Unethical is an understatement. The MBM-Market Based Management is a philosophy that looks good in writing by in applied reality is a joke! It's like Karl Marx book on communism. It works in the book but not in reality!
GP management are the Peter principle. Only the crap rise to the top. Never trust them with anything.
As a former GP employee the best day I had is when I no long had any ties with the idiot managers at GP. Their self importance is evident. As a distributor be ware they are snakes in the grass. They will take your GP customers and give them to other distributors that think like them. I know their paper business has declined by half.
Georgia-Pacific does not care about people and does not care about Market Based Management. Integrity? No. Respect? No. Humility? Are you kidding, GP management thinks it means to humiliate and intimidate those below them...and they do that very well. If you appreciate your sanity and happiness, then I would advise anyone to not work for nor work with Georgia-Pacific.
A company that is going down...I think they will be cut up and sold. Management are self important [censor]s.
Their business aqument is that of a Jack [censor]. They are insane. They keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different results. Charles Kock either don't care about waisting money or he is to old to see he as alhiemeirs.
GP LLC is down to the count. As a distribututor I stop buying from these idiots.
I worked for GP and know about the MBM which I always called it a joke. GP does not oe ever did care about it's employees.
The sales force is all intemedated and scared of their jobs. I work fo GP for 15 years. I had received an offer from a competeting company but before I gave them my resognation I got hurt on the job. I filled for workers' comp and won a large settlement and GP also wanted my resignation which also cost them a large dollar amount. They did not want me back and the feeling was mutual. If they only knew I would have gladly resigned for nothing.
However, I was injured and became disabled so GP pay all my shrt term disability and MetLIfe is now paying me long term disability. GP and Metlife are both let's say less then fair or honest.
I am on SSDI until I turn 62 then on SS. But I am very happy that I don't ever have to deal then GP and it's lying managers. This statement is that during a hearing at workers' comp. the fist thing out of my supervisors words was a lie that was rebuted by another former GP employee.
