After sending in my first payment of $15 dollars, I received a call stating that my payment was behind. My payment had been reversed supposedly returned from my bank as "account not found". This account is over 20 years old! When checking with my bank I got a copy of the CLEARED check (front and back with their endorsement) and faxed it to them asking that the situation be resolved. I still received another call 2 days later. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was conveniently disconnected. (He called me - why didn't he just call me back?)

I called them back and finally got to speak with a supervisor. She said I should go ahead and make another payment so my account wouldn't go to collections, because the research I sent them could take 1-2 billing cycles to correct!!!

Meanwhile they've charged me a $29 late fee (that wasn't late) and a $29 returned check fee (that was never returned). This is still in dispute, so I hope it gets resolved quickly, but I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use GE Money Bank or Care Credit again!

When I googled GE Money Bank I was stunned at how many similar complaints have been made!
