I ordered a futon from Futon Stores (Gately's Family of Stores) on 8-15-07. It was supposed to be shipped between 8/22 and 8/25 by UPS Ground. I have never heard anything else from this company. For awhile they took calls, now their mailbox is full and no one is even pretending to answer the phone. I have also left NUMEROUS e-mails. This is obviously an internet scam and I am MAD!

Good news! I posted a complaint on 9-18-07 (see above), and since then, I have American Express working on a refund, as well as the BBB. I just received an e-mail from Gately's! Saying that my order has been cancelled! This is the first I have heard from them in SO LONG. So hopefully, I will have my refund SOON! I advise all of you to do the same with your credit card companies, and with the BBB. I still can not believe that their websites are still up and running , and that they are still stealing money!

I cancelled this order in July after never receiving the futon and was billed by Bill Me Later and can not get them to help me. Gatelys has a message I am calling during after hours which is not the case, the website is no longer available, and if you try to email them your email is returned undeliverable. All so Futonstore is a bogus website. DO NOT DO BUSINESS EITHER OF THEM WITH.

I ordered from the Futon Store on two separate occasions; both times I received my futons within one week and found their product and service to be stellar.

They filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy and closed down. The sites, phones and physical address have been abandoned.

I apparently have fallen victim to Gately's as well. We ordered a Bowflex Xtreme2 on 10/08/2007. We set up the Bill-Me-Later payment option. Since this store was in an online mall we trust, we in good faith set up the payments to begin and have made two. I have stopped payments since I have not had any reply from the customer service email address on the order confirmation when I inquired about shipment date. I also could not find a phone number and the website is not open but has a message saying they are increasing the functionality of the site to improve service, HA!

I ordered two covers 10/14/07. I still haven't received them. But, I do have a conformation number. I am going to call my credit card company, and dispute the charge. Also, I am going to put in a complaint with the better business bureau. This is awful. There is no email address that works for them, nor can I find a phone number. Be careful, and use only your credit cards, you can dispute it then.

First internet trap for me too. Everything in my complaint mirrors all the others. I bought 3 pieces of furniture from "sleek spaces" on the 9th of October and was charged on the 11th. By the 18th no contact whatsoever from Gateleys. Then an email arrived stating wait "7-10 business days for shipping". At this time, November 3rd, I have disputed charges with AMEX and am in the wait to see what happens now mode. Hoping the "Gateleys Shopping Network" get their just rewards.

As stated above in Vi Hills complaint above, everything was the same for us. Oct 11, futon, delivery promised October 22-25th. No futon, no response. We are canceling, of course.

I just attempted to link to the Gately's site and it appears to be down. I ordered a futon for my son on October 11th with an estimated delivery of October 20-22nd. Although I did receive an order confirmation, the email notice did not have the name of the company nor any contact information. I found a customer service email which I used to inquire about my order. No answer, no futon!

After reading the complaint on this site, I now believe I'll never receive the futon. First thing tomorrow I visit my bank to get the charges reversed off my credit card. Next, I will register this fraudulent transaction with he BBB. Hopefully this site is down/ out of business forever.

We ordered a bed earlier in the month from bedroom king (Gately's) and were charged but never received any info about shipping. I have tried to contact them but they are unlisted everywhere and have no info on their website. I replied to my order confirmation email but still nothing. After reading a comment here I disputed the charge with American Express and they are looking into it. Hopefully we will be refunded soon. This place is a scam and I wish there were a way to get the word out to everyone so that no one else has to deal with this!

I am trying to go to the bbb website to complain but I don't have any of their info. I need their address. Their website is shut down now and all I have is their phone number. Does anyone have any other info on them?

I recommend that NONE buys anything from this store. I ordered a bike for my son's 5th birthday on October 9, 2007. They said it would be here on October 19th. (which was the day before his birthday party) I had the billing info under my moms name since I put it on her credit card and the shipping under mine. No bike showed up. I called and the lady said that they had the wrong zip code. She said it would be here this week and guess what, NO BIKE still. I had to show my son the pic on the internet instead of giving him the actual present. Now, you can't even look at the website, mailbox is full on their answering machine, and they don't take the message off of that you have called after business hours when you haven't. They have charged my moms credit card and everything. This is the first time anything has happened to me like this. I wish I would of read this website before buying this "bike".

We, too, have fallen victim to this scam company. I ordered a platform bed on 9/4 and was charged immediately. I was never even given a delivery date and have had no response to all my attempts to contact them. Now their phone number is even gone from their website (bedroomking.com), however, the site is still up and taking orders. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and with the Colorodo BBB. So much for my birthday gift. BE WARNED - DO NOT BUY FROM ANY OF GATELY'S NETWORK OF STORES.

If you purchased from any of the Gately's Family of Stores, which includes FutonsStore.com, Sleek Spaces, and MANY MORE... Please file a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau. Go to bbb.org, the company is listed as Gatelys.

This company has had 230 complaints filed in the last 36 months. They have also filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Sept 17, 2007.
Additionally, file a dispute with your bank or credit card lender against Gately's.

Let's all do what we can to put pressure on this fraudulent company.
