They take your money up front and tell you that they will ship letters to you in about 8 weeks. I never received the letters and it;s 12 weeks later and never received a refund. They will not answer my emails and they do not have a business phone #. They have their own website and also sell the letters on EBay. I purchased through EBay and wasn't able to get any help from EBay either. Beware of this merchant!

Didn't like her letters
Buyer Beware! Do not buy from this vendor. I bought letters for my daughter and paid extra for ribbons to hang them with. She changed the price on me after I had already purchased them because these letters were "more complicated" than other letters she does. However, they are not entirely handpainted but rather are covered with stickers that she claims are painted. She took over 10 weeks to send them to me and then they arrived without the ribbons that were supposed to be included. So I paid a lot of money for letters that I can't use (and I waited and waited and waited for them to arrive). There are plenty of other vendors who do these letters on etsy and elsewhere. DO NOT BUY FROM HER. SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE.
From funkyletterboutique, sorry ladies that you had an order that was held up, as always I try to keep my customers informed. As many of you know I lost my grandma around that time, which caused me to be late. And I will never ever sacrafice my art to get an order out the door. I got mine and absolutely love the work. Very impressed you can tell she pays attention to detail and cares about her product. I'd order again just plan ahead that's kind of to be expected with such a custom item.
I have ordered from her in the past and the letters are awesome but agree that it takes a lot longer than she advertises and the communication is horrible. She doesn't even reply to give you an estimated time. Do not order from her and expect to get your order on time!
I loved the letters I received from Funky Letter Boutique, I purchased around the same time as you it appears (July 2010) and was made aware she had a surgery and was going to be late. I had no problem with that as I know how much work she puts into them (I'm a repeat customer) I disagree. Kallie, Idaho
