FreeShipping.com common misunderstanding regarding freeshipping.com

Freeshipping.com customer service can be reached via email at [protected]@freeshipping.com or telephone # [protected].

Freeshipping.com is an online shopping membership. The yearly membership benefits include up to $500 in shipping rebates, $500 in return shipping rebates. Up to $1, 000 cash back, $1, 000 in Price protection. That is up to $3, 000 in benefits, for a monthly charge of $12.97 which works out to $155.64 a year,

The monthly charge is clearly listed on the registration page next to where the credit card information is inputted, and again on the Welcome email that everyone receives.

I wanted to point these items out as there are a lot of complaints saying it is a scam, but nothing could be further from the truth. Reading the Terms of Use and Service are necessary and reading the terms of the offer when registering, as it reading the Welcome email.

Freeshipping.com offers exception customer service, so if you have a problem, contact them. That is the way to resolve issues rather than just complaining about them.

I personally contacted the company, pleading for a refund to my account, although was brushed off by customer service. If the policy is so clearly stated, then why are there so many complaints from consumers who were deceived? This recurring "misunderstanding" is something freeshipping.com should focus on fixing, because they sure are receiving bad reviews everywhere.

Well, we did get a refund after all..not sure how it happened but we do appreciate it and since that was my main gripe I have to give them kuddos for that. I'm sure if someone does a lot of online shopping and can afford that this company would come in handy for them.

we did contact them, the response was: I'm sorry, there is nothing I can do about getting your money refunded. They took advantage of a person who falls for online scams. I'm sorry, but I would not recommend this company to anyone!

FreeShipping.com monthly billing fraud

Discovered freeshipping.com charging my credit card a $12.97 monthly charge. I never signed up or even knew they existed till they hit my card. I called my Credit Card company requested a credit as well as new card that of course will have a new account number. Hopefully by getting a new account number I will eliminate their ability to keep charging me.

I agree wholeheartedly with the complaint. I have no idea when I signed up for this and my debit card was dinged for $12.97. But, since I wasn't expecting the charge and had around $12.20 in the account, I've been hit with an overdraft fee. So, in no uncertain terms I'll be cancelling my membership in whatever freeshipping.com is as I'm livid with a service I don't remember signing up for. And, check text spelling? Is 'happyto reslove' two words?

FreeShipping.com stealing money

I made a purchase from The company Red Envelope on 08 December 2009 a pop up window for free shipping showed up so I clicked on it and filled out some info, there was no mention of a monthly payment or I would have closed the window and payed the shipping cost with purchase because I don't do that much online shopping, anyways once I finished I didn't think anything else of it until I just started doing a thorough balance of my check book. Come to find out that the company only listed as red e rwd was listed on my bank invoice for a $14.95 charge dating back to 21 Dec 2009 totaling $897.00! I called the number listed on the invoice and it was so shady that the automated message didn't even tell you what company you are calling to cancel a membership that I never knew I had? After some thorough research I found out that A federal class action law suit accuses Clarus Marketing Group and Provide-Commerce of defrauding online shoppers by enrolling them in a "membership program" that costs $9 to $15 a month if they click on ads offering free shipping with a purchase. Provide-Commerce, based in San Diego, operates "at least five online stores: RedEnvelope, ProFlowers, Cherry Moon Farms, Secret Spoon, and Shari's Berries," according to the complaint.
The class lawsuit demands punitive, treble, special and statutory damages for civil theft, unjust enrichment, fraud and invasion of privacy. They are represented by James Patterson with Harrison Patterson & O'Connor of San Diego.
If this company does not return my money I will start another lawsuit against them. I am active duty Army and will use the full extent of the Federal government against this company stealing money from hard working people!

Dear TMckee74,
At your earliest convenience please contact me at arand@freeshipping.com. Freeshipping.com has never charged $14.95 for our membership and I believe you may be referring to another company that in 2009 were charging members $14.95; I would like to help you clear this matter up as quickly as possible.

Thank you

FreeShipping.com cash back unavailable

I made a purchase from footsmart recently. The package that they sent me did not contain my order (Order as from a customer in pr). I contacted footsmart, told them about the problem and also told them that their online order said that if the order was for over $59 (Which mine was) there would be no shipping fee. They agreed to withdraw the shipping fee and finally I received my merchandise. It is my opinion, that they connect with freeshipping.com for all of their orders and may automatically charge customers a shipping fee unless their orders are considerably over the minimum amount.
On the receipt for my order, they instructed me to go to www. Claimyourrebate.com and select "footsmart - cb" from the drop down list in order to receive $15 cash back on the order that I placed. I thought that this was done because of all the work that I had to do in order to return the misdirected items that were initially sent to me including purchasing a mailer at uspc, time taken to handle this, transportation costs, etc. This apparently was not the case.

Unfortunately, there is not telephone number for freeshipping.com so that I can tell them to remove my name as a client. That's the next thing that I will work on since I have no intention of rejoining their scheme when I have no intention of using such a dispicable service that does not readily provide this information.

Hi Dr. Grafing, It appears that you had an account with Freeshipping.com in July of 2013, and at that time you claimed and were paid out a $20 Introductory cash back rebate. You aslo received a $7.24 Shipping Rebate on an Amazon claim you submitted. You then cancelled the account in January of 2014.

I see you joined again on 10/28/14 but there is no record of you having submitted the claim or sent in the required backup documentation to complete the Introductory shipping rebate offer. If you can send that documentation to customerservice@freeshipping.com, ATT: Alice,

I will be happy to process it for you. Technically only one membership and one Introductory Premium is allowed, but I will be happy to make an exception in this case. Thank you

FreeShipping.com they simply stole money from my mum's account

I got the phone call from my mum, and she told me that some unknown company charged her for $187.99. She showed me that it was company www.freeshipping.com. I haven’t heard about it and of course my mum hasn’t used it, but they simply charged her for this sum. The main problem is that they didn’t reply to emails and phone calls. Impossible to reach them and no idea how to stop the charges. I wonder if there are people, who had the same thing. Maybe you can advise me how to stop these withdrawals. Please post your ideas and comments. Thanks.

FreeShipping.com fraud

Although this looks legitimate at first, they practice fraud on a huge scale by using pop-ups to offer free shipping on orders from an unrelated website. I still ended up paying the $19.95 shipping charges on the products I bought from Comfy-Cushion after having clicked on the pop-up. They stole my credit card info and started charging my account $14.97 a month for 8 months ($119.76 total) before I put a stop to it thru my credit card company, who reversed the last 2 charges and credited my account for $29.94 ~ Balance $89.82 in the hole. I then contacted FreeShipping.com who absolutely refused to refund the rest of my money. Since these people seem to want to practice fraud on such a large scale as evidenced by all the complaints on this website, I intend to file a formal electronic complaint against them for fraud at the US Dept of Justice, Computer & Internet Crime unit, Financial Fraud Division, and would suggest everyone who reads this that has been defrauded by them, to do the same. FreeShipping.com unauthorized charge

A $12.97 charge appeared on my credit card statement. Called company at [protected]. The man said this was their membership fee to rebate shipping charges for online orders from "hundreds of partners". I said I did not apply for this membership nor did I want it. He said it was a valuable service but if I wanted he would cancel the membership and refund the $12.97 to the account charged and it would appear in 2-5 business days. I will hide and watch. He was very pleasant and cooperative sounding, and I hope this works out. I also learned this came through my PenPal account. I've seen no such charge in my PenPal statements so I don't know how this happened. I hope the result promised is "not too good to be true".

FreeShipping.com fraud and scam

Freeshipping.com charged my card since nov 3012 for 8 months - 12.97 per month.
I called them through my bank fraud department.
The woman who answered was not able to refund so she said the supervisor will call back in 2-3 days. No one called after two weeks. When I followed up they said 4 refunds of 12.97 was made back to my card. It took a lot of emails to finally refund all. I don't see them back on my card as of yet though. Keeping my fingers crossed.

The whole time they claimed I signed up. I did not. Not knowingly at least. This proves their business practice is very shady. This site should be shut down.

The same thing happened to me. I finally questioned the charge of $12.97 yesterday when I received my monthly bill. I spoke to a very nice representative who told me that I had ordered it in 2013 and I had been paying that charge each month for 2 years. I can't figure it out. It was on my Chase credit card which I didn't use very often and can't understand why I continued paying it so long. I don't think that it had any advantage because if I ordered anything that didn't offer free shipping, I was always charged the shipping charge. I would like an explanation of what it really was and if what the benefit of it was. It appears to be illegal.

FreeShipping.com fraud or unauthorized charges

I recently found out that I have been charged $12.97 monthly since the beginning of 2011, charging on a debit card that I do not use and don't even carry, in fact I don't even know if there is a PIN number. The total balance in which I have been charged in over $300.00. I do not know what I was suppose to have purchased and I have not recieved any merchandise from this company. All I know is it is from IC Freeshipping.com. I phoned the number listed and it stated that it was not a number in service with no forwarding number. I would very much like some information about this company and why they are charging me. I have since then stopped the debit card and hope there is no further damage to my credit.

FreeShipping.com false advertisement

Signed up for this free 30 day trial through Shari's Berries. Signed up the same day I placed my order and sent in the required information. Couple days later submitted another one for Amazon. A couple days later I checked the status and they were both listed as "Submitted" so I know the information was received. So it's been almost 4 weeks and I really didn't want to have to pay for this service since the amount of the refunds would then end up being about $5 and I don't do a lot of online purchasing until the holidays come back around. So, I cancelled the service which effectively literally closed my account so that I can no longer access any of it! You would think you would still be able to access the history, but nooooooo. Which now I can guarantee you I will NOT receive the two refunds I was expecting! TOTAL SCAM!

FreeShipping.com failed to send my shipping rebates or giftcard

Www. Freeshipping.com for a $12. 95 monthly fee this company promises to reinburse you up to $10. 00 for the cost of shipping for each purchase made. As it stands, it is in no way "free shipping"! In 4 months time, after sending in numerous rebate claims and having to spend hours jumping from one website to another to gather the information that they require for you to actually submit the rebate, and then spending hours on the phone with these nasty, rude people because you are still not getting your rebate checks, only to be told that a supervisor will call you back who never does! This was the conversation I just had with them (To give you an idea of the mentality of these people) hi! I'm calling about the giftcard that I never recieved from ebay! Them : well I don't have any information about that, i'll have to have a supervisor call you back. Me: I am also not getting my rebate checks. Them: I don't know anything about that, a supervisor will have to call you back. Me: i'm a little annoyed with all this trouble that I have to go through to be reinbursed for my shipping charges. Them: screaming, don't yell at me!... Me: i'm not yelling at you?... Them: click!
Thats right, they hang up on you when they can't answer your simple reasonable, normal questions. A scam business! I have to call my credit card company tomorrow to instruct them not to make any further payments to this scam company again!

FreeShipping.com unresponsive, unhelpful, cancels your account without your approval, doesnt through with giftcard promise offer

They canceled my account 6 weeks of opening cause I complained I didnt received my promised $25 giftcard for signing up. I didnt owe any money and was up to date with my account. I didnt approve the closure of my account. They said they dont know how it happened. I have only received 1 check in the last 2 months of 5 rebates I have submitted. The rest they said they have sent them out but I'm still waiting for them. They told me to call back after a week if I dont receive the giftcard but they didnt respond with any information other then "its been submitted". This happened 4 times with no email respose. They always said I would get a response within 24-72 hours but never did. I finally received the first email about the matter 3 days ago. They gave me the run around for over 2 months and I finally got tried of it and closed my account at a lost to me of over $100 not including the monthly fee and the giftcard I never received. It felt like they didnt care that they were on the verge of losing me as a customer. Yeah I lost money on this idea but I am very happy to have canceled my acount thanks to the advice of the supervisor I spoke to. I REALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SITE TO ANYONE. YOU WILL LOSE MONEY NOT SAVE MONEY.

I was charged 5 times by this company (IC freeshipping.com, May also appear as: IC *freeshipping.com) at $11.97, my total is $60 the company without my authorization kept my credit card on file and charged me every month! I used free shipping only once. I asked to reimburse me, the company refused to do it. I think people should get together and and get this company out of business.

I agree, I ordered from Cherry's Berry’s, and later told them to cancel any further charges, not realizing it was a separate company. I turned over paying this bill to my wife that assumed that I ordered the service. After months she asked me, and I called them to cancel. The next month another charge came, and i was told that it went on the day before I cancelled it. This time I contacted my credit card company to have any charges blocked. This is a useless service that is a total rip off. It is cheaper and safer to negotiate a shipping deal with the vendor. When you add up the monthly charges against the actual vendors shipping charge, you are losing.

I signed up for free shipping.com 19 months ago, submitted all the receipts which was very time consuming forgot about it until I just saw a $12.97 bill on my credit card. I never received a penny. I just cancelled the service and spoke to a rep., she stated it shows I submitted the receipts but doesn't know why I never got reimbursed. Of course could not give me the answer and had to leave a message for a supervisor. This is such a rip off do not use freeshipping.com you will end up losing money!

Ordered some drapes from Bed and Bath Store.com. Screen comes up to sign up and receive free shipping and /or $10 back on order. Just a scam to separate about $84 from your bank or credit card account. They may eventually send you $10, I don't know, but it will be long after they have gotten your $84.

FreeShipping.com monthly bill charge

April 5, 2012 order flowers online from pro flowers.com and was entice with a cheap shippine charge from ic free shipping so I registered and allow them to delivery paying cheaper delivery cost. I paid them with my credit card online. Since then I didnt not realized that monthly I was being charged by ic freeshipping.com for $12.97. It is impossible to get to their website and make a complain. I didnt realized I have been paying them monthly since april and the recent bill is dated jlu 4, 2012. This is robbery online. For a one time order of flowers from pro flowers.com I am now paying monthly delivery charges for the flowers. Makes no sense. This is unfair consumer practice and illegal. I want to get my money back.
