I am a Senior Fraud Victim Advocate with Fraudaid.org , first of all what you have experienced is what we call a Fake Lottery Scam. It is designed for one purpose only and that is to get innocent and unsuspecting people involved in the fantasy of winning a ton of money. They use this scam to do one of two things:

Launder money by sending you a check with your winnings letter and instructing you to depsosit the check and send off a portion of it to pay so called fees and taxes to free up your winnings OR for the purpose of getting you to pay advanced fees to gain access to your winnings. Here are the cold hard facts:

1. If you did not purchase a lottery ticket , you could not have won that lottery. Why? Lotteries only exist on the money gained through the sale of tickets. The money they get from people purchasing tickets IS the money or at least a portion of that money that is dished out in winnings.

2. IF you have gotten a surprise winning notification and a check from a lottery company you had better verify that the lottery is real and that the check was indeed issued to you by the " Account Holder". Most likely that check is Counterfeit and you can wind up in a heap of trouble either with your bank or legally if you cash it.

NEVER EVER send money to anyone you do not know via services like Western Union, Money Gram etc based on a sales pitch or promise. Those services are widely used to scam people out of hard earned money. Why? Simply put... once that money is sent and picked up at the other end there is NO way to retrieve it or to recover your losses.

For more information on scams and how to protect yourself visit us at www.fraudaid.org What you do not know can hurt you.

Always remember ...

Silence is a thief's best friend... word-of-mouth is his worst enemy! Spread the word.

I agree that FreeLotto is a fraud. I fell for the USD$14.99 to play a few games. I then tried to cancel out but to no avail. Then I began to search the internet looking for ways to contact these people. I too live in Australia and yes I now see that I was gullible. If there is anyone who know how to stop these deductions can you please post note. I see that all above are over a year old. Wonder if there are any other fools out there more recent?

Please people stop talking about Freelotto, you all know it is a SCAM but you just can't give up hope and want to belive it's not?

Last year I tumbled on Freelotto and even though I knew it's probably a scam I wanted to see how far can I go without giving money or my CVV.

Well I played once or twice free, then I thin about 2weeks later I got an e-mail saying I need to claim my price. Don't remember how much. But well, I did do it but only allmost like they wanted ;).

Instead of filling the information on they're website I send them an e-mail of all my info exept my Credit card number and CVV. Sure enought they took the bait, few days and THEY CALLED ME. And I live in Finand. Soo.. I can admit that when the call came I actually thought "well maybe they are for real". But no. They asked me a few things and last one was "do you have a credit card". I was like "hmm.. what do say" So i said NO. And the reply was "you dont have a credit card?" Again I said No

and after that all i heard was silence. She hung up right away :)

Now does that sound like a legit business people?

CVV is not needed to check your ID, never. All they would need is the number and thats pretty safe to give alone. But with CVV, bad things happen.

In Pakistan, banks confirm payout for every transaction..
So their fore free loto can't process the Paki Dude card number..
Its simple dont get greedy. Make your living guys! dont waste money on such things.

If you really want to, then go to some casino or stuff similar. As in most of such offers tht you find in your mail boxes are fraud.

This is to inform the public that i am also notified of the same (freeLotto) that i won several of their jackpot prizes, but to my surprised there are a lot of pre-requisites that i have to undergone like giving them my credit card number and so forth and so on.. why these people are taking advantage of other people just to enrich themselves... I hope that one day, God will give what is due to them.

I hope that one day, they will be judge accordingly. For heaven's sake.. STOP BEING A DEVIL'S DISCIPLE.

Stop playin this game. These people are a piece of lousy ###. I have proof. If u have noticed, most people win 1,000,000... 10,000 and 300. If u send them a creidit card no. with no money, they don't reply. They sent me an e-mail calling me broke and told me to back off and that they are only after fools with money on their accounts.. so its your choice, be scammed if you are foolish.
