I got on their website offering a free government grant kit. The only supposed charge was to be $1.95. The stated that they stopped shipping the kits but that I could access everything online. Once I submitted my payment information, they sent me a confirmation email with the user name and password to get onto to their site. The site seemed like a basic info page, nothing really helpful at all. I thought I'd wasted my time, but thinking it was only $2 out of pocket it didn't seem like that big of a deal. Two months later, my bank statement comes in and I have a charge of $57.61 to a Grant Profit Geek. I looked through all my receipts and couldn't find anything for something like that. I did a Google search and found this complaint board and several people who had been ripped off just the same way. What do I do to get my money back? I contacted their supposed customer service through email. Is there a law agency we report this to?
This is the confirmation email they sent me:

Now that we've got that squared away, we'd like you to take a moment and
read the following rules carefully:
Rule #1: READ all of the guides we've provided. Once you've finished, read
it again just so you can familiarize yourself with the information. The
biggest issue people run into is pure laziness by not reading our guides
first. They are there to educate you, because without them, you may find
yourself lost.
Rule #2: Do your homework. In order to get a grant from the government,
you'll need to decide what type of grant you want, and what you're
planning on using it for. You'll also need to locate the proper forms
(don't worry, we've got those too) to fill out and send to the correct
agency or organization.
Rule #3: Don't give up! The only way to be 100% sure that you will never
get a free grant is if you give up. You're already so close to it, you may
as well go the rest of the way. Trust us, we know it seems like a lot of
work, but it really isn't. Just familiarize yourself with everything, and
if need be, take a small break from your research and come back to it
later. But DO NOT give up. Getting a grant is so easy and you'll be glad
you went through it when that grant check comes to your door!
So there you have it, three simple and easy rules to follow. By following
these rules your success rate at getting a grant for whatever you want has
just shot through the roof. It may not be as easy as pushing a button, but
it sure as hell is easier than working hard for it!
