TODAY I HAD A $16.95 DEBIT TAKEN OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT AND DID NOT AUTHORIZE IT. I CALLED THE BANK AND THEY SAID IT WAS BY DEBIT CARD AND THAT IT WAS A CHARGE FROM WC VALUE PLUS-V AND NO PHONE NUMBER. I HAVE PRINTED OUT ALL OF THESE COMPLAINTS AND WILL TAKE TO THE BANK TO SEE IF I CAN GET THEM TO REVERSE THESE CHARGES. THESE COMPLAINTS GO BACK TO 2006!! WHY HAVEN'T THESE PEOPLE BEEN STOPPED BY NOW?

I, too, have been hit with the debited amount. I think it is from a "free offer" I stupidly applied for. I have called that company to cancel my membership to no avail. I also have two smaller, related charges of about $2.00 each appearing monthly. Can't find out how to stop them. If anyone has ideas I would appreciate hearing about them.

I remember getting a phone call about a "free offer" as well back in 2006. Did they tell you that you won something and that many of the winners also subscribed to several magazines? I remember giving out my credit card number stupidly as well. I've learned to be more careful now. I was wondering what the bank said when you, steve, brought all the statements showing all the charges made by WC since 2006. Was the bank able to reverse all the transactions?
