Zbiddy.com ZBIDDY.com is a blow out auction internet site

ZBIDDY.com is a blow out auction internet site. They lead you to believe you sign up for free and like Ebay start bidding. I gave them credit card information (I know better than this) and wanted to start bidding. Next thing you know I get an email message. I bought $159.00 of 265 bids. I have no idea what happened. I believe they are a fraud and hope you expose them. You sign up and charged for signing up. Terrible, terrible, terrible!

Its not standard practice to purchase bids at the same time as you are register. On other auction sites you can register without having to buy bids. This company also sells all of your information, including your credit card, email and cell, home phone numbers and excludes any liability for any company who buys this information for there use.

Zbiddy.com Took $99. 00 out of my account

I pulled up their web page to register for free just to look at the products they have. And before i knew it they had charged my debit card $99 without asking. I called them immediatly and they would not refund my money. Then they said they were going to email $100 food certificate and add $49. 00 back to my card. I told them i really needed money back on card i can not afford this!. Per the supervisor jason i was to use the 250 bids to bid on gift cards to get the rest of my money back and i was guarnted to win. He repeated that 3 times. And if i did not then call back and they would reset bids until i win. Well i did and they gave me so much trouble. I just need my full $99 back on my card. I believe that this is a scam. They do not make things very clear. And i do not want to waste my time or engery bidding on thing that i can never win. Please help me get my money back. Thanks chris isbell

Yes I went on the site and registered and it would not let me go further until I put in my credit card no., etc. I figured they had to have this incase I won a bid and then would be charged for the winning bid. But nooooooooooooooooooooooo, they freaking charged me $99 I sent 4 emails saying to cancel immediately and never heard back from them. SCAM...SCAM...SCAM... I am spreading the word you freaking thieves.

Boy was I suckered!

What is their phone no? They do not have it listed and now I know why. Thieves!

If you all were to just look at the site before you put your payment information in, then you would notice that as this is a Penny Auction website you have to purchase a bid package in order to bid. I enjoy this website, i've won over 14 items soo far in the last 10 hours of signing up.

Same happened to me ... I wonder how many thousands of people they have scammed! Wish I would have seen all the negative posts "prior" to thinking they merely "needed" a credit card on file to register with their site! So wrong!

There is no fee on Zbiddy. To place bid, you have to purchase a bid package. This process is common among all the penny auction site.

Contact their customer support. Zbiddy have a nice support team. They will only contact you if you are the winner. A company will not contact every bidder if they place a bid.

Zbiddy.com Thought I was getting bids for 60.00 but was charged 60.00 plus 59.00

Thought I was getting bids for 60.00 but was charged 60.00 plus 59.00. Also bidding was crazy with .60 a bid for individual .01 bids for these products. Near the end of auctions I was blindsided by the 10 second extension of time for last bids and when the bidding stopped a lot of the same people were winning. I won one 5.00 auction for a Chilli's gift card that had a seven cents bid on the books for 6 hours. THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDS!

Wrong Wrong Wrong

I was on hold waiting for one of your friendly agents for about 45 minutes (the recording said the wait time was about 10 minutes). After 45 minutes, the friendly agent hung up on me.

Meanwhile I was on the chat line waiting for a response for about an hour.
I was looking for a refund and was offered half off because they knew "how I will enjoy using and winning on Zbiddy".

When they finally relented and offered to refund my entire $99 charge, I was told that the refund would take 5-7 business days. I am still waiting to see the refund.

Meanwhile i have had my bank cancel my bank card so no additional unauthorized charges can be made. They have also started filing the dispute paperwork.

What is your guess as to the likely-hood of success?

Zbiddy.com deceptive pratices

BEWARE OF ZBIDDY.COM AUCTIONS-after being linked to zdiddy i saw items going really cheap(ha) so i thought i would get in on this. little did i know that this was just a guise to rip you and me off . i could not bid until i registered which i did. when i went to bid i couldn't bid until i registered my credit card info which read at the top "where can we send your winnings to" so i proceded to fill out the info in case i bought something all the info would be there. well i went to bid and couldn't until i checked the box at the bottom of the credit info start bidding. well---i still couldn't bid so i went to my inbox mail to see if i needed to click on something to firm up the registering but instead found an email where i just purchased 100 bids for 45.00 which i didn't have any knowledge of. so i replied no i didn't and refund my money on my credit card. well i guess i shouldn't have done that because l9 minutes later i received another email saying i just purchased their most popular bid package of 265 bids for the low price of $159.00 which i didn't, of course. in just 19 minutes they charged me $204.00. upon email complaint again i heard nothing. so i called customer service and they told me someone would call me back in 24-72 hours. so i flipped, boy did i flip and i don't mean the finger. in the blink of an eye they charged me the first 45.00 and could not refund my 45.00 . what the heck do you call that? i spoke to a floor manager that said she was trying to help me and to calm down. all the questions i asked she had no answer for except to repeat "is it on your credit card statement?". i told her to quit asking that same question as the answer was i don't have it yet. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A CLASS ACTION SUIT I THINK WE HAVE A N EXCELLENT CASE FOR ONE. IF YOU LOOK AT THE COMPLAINTS THROUGHOUT THE INTERNET MOST PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CHARGED $159.00. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THESE AND ARE INTERESTED IN A CLASS ACTION PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS. I FEEL THAT WE NEED TO SHUT ZBIDDY DOWN AND OUT OF BUSINESS. LET ME KNOW YOUR OPINIONS AND HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS IDEA. IF YOU HAVE HAD A GOOD TRANSACTION WITH THIS ECOMPANY I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT IT. THANKS SO MUCH FOR LISTENING AND BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU GO ON THE NET.

I am confused . All autions requre you to purchase a bid pack . bigcactus.com charges $55 dollars I think to even get into their aution . I tired to regiister at about three and all had the same process. Upon registering to zbiddy I received 25 free bids which of course I did not know what I was doing, went fast then you may go to their purchase bids page. There they have a beginners pack for I think 27 dollars. which is i think 45 bids...can't remember right this minute. They stress under the topic How It Works to watch what is going on go to all the pages, read and observe. If you go to the bid voucher auctions, you will see you can use the bids you bought larger bid packs. 200 bids I have gotten for as little as 37 cents..there is a two dollar processing fee for all card transactions..but that is a HUGE savings at that price, rather than to go and purchse the bid packs outright. I have had issues with my site working and they have refunded all bids that I have bide on items and more. The online staff is there around the clock and the phone staff is very nice and will give you tips on how to get more for your money. I do have to dbl check my bank statement after reading all this but i have not received any emails other than confimring my wins...etc. and purchses. Hope this helps. I have to say if you called them and told them what happened, I am so surprised that they just didn't refund your money. YOU know if you have 259 bids or whatever you said you had...it shows them clearly on the top of the page how many bids you have. You had to have seen them . I would like to hear why they did not refund them . I am going to ask them as well what is going on with this. Thanks for the heads up fi this is true.

I don't agree with you. I am a user of many penny auction site and before you purchase any bid package, there are certain steps which itself notify you that you're going to purchase a bid package and you're person who select the bid package amount. So, I don't understand that why you are disagreeing with this. Wake up sid!

Zbiddy.com Site deficiencies

Zbiddy sucks you in much as Beezid did, but to my surprise I actually won, but as I was bidding on another item the site crashed apparently they don't have a system large enough to handle the volume of traffic they have and they've just started. Be forewarned don't get suckered in like I did. Anytime you buy 75 bids for $45.00 and an item may sell for $50.00 that's 5000 penny bids. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that the losers of each auction pay for the wholesale cost of the items auctioned, basically it's a scam.

Actually I think they are brilliant! making it sound like such a good deal, however since they call it "penny auction" bids should only cost 1 penny.. unless they change it to 60 cent auctions.. otherwise.. yes its false advertising imo. But as you said, the losers basically pay for the wholesale.. thats bloody brilliant xD

zbiddy is a penny auction, which means you pay each time you bid, and the last bidder gets the item. The opportunity to win products cheaply is very real; in most cases, the winning bidder pays a fraction of the item's retail cost. You just have to be smart about when and how you bid since each bid has monetary value.

Zbiddy.com Calling this gambling game an &auction& is a perversion of the language

This is a business that sells bids for $.60 apiece that yo can use ot bid on a product. It is set up so that your chance of winning is remote and that the bidders (Bettors) will cumulatiely spend much more than the item costs.

Calling this gambling game an "auction" is a perversion of the language. It is a scam through and through.

I perched two $5 Walmart e-gift-cards at zbiddy.com after bidding on them. So my bids paid for part and my visa payed the difference. I was told would receive them in my email inbox in 7-10 business days but did not. And just today i got e-mails from zbiddy.com telling me I received a refund of $ .50, $84, $1, $1. witch comes out to $3.34. -a refunded to my visa.
I called them up to see what this was about. And they told me i requested a refund. I did not! I asked they who in there right mind would ask for a refund of $3.34 for something worth $10. I knew they did not refund the money i spent on the bids so why would i do that? This logic did not work and now I have to wait even longer to see what will become of this. So much wasted time for nothing.

I saw an advertisement for bidding on items and as soon a s I went to the website and put my information in they automatically took $99.00 out of my bank account. I did not even get the options that they finally showed after the fact. I called the number next to my transaction and it put me into a recording for a call service with a choice of female or male conversation. I have the number right on my bank statement. Your welcome to call t0 verify my story. Then I finally called and talked to another gentleman from off of the website and he assured me that they were not connected to any type of phone service for that type of business. Well I decide that after emails and such I would give it a try and use my $99.00 and try to win a Kindle Fire. On there website they encourage you to bid on bids, so with that in mind I tried my luck with that and I would only win on bids which still have to be paid for even with small amounts it added up. Then two weeks ago I bid on a hotel card for $100.00 and won. I have not received anything via a voucher or through my email or regular mail. I have wrote to emails to the customer service and they respond with it takes 48 hour. Well nothing has materialized so I am very disappointed and yes I feel like I am definitely being scammed.

This company really needs to improve on there customer service as well as there website. I got charged $99.00 to my credit card when I registered. I thought I was only registering not buying some stupid bids. Then when I tried to call them and tell them I didn't want the account all they could say is that they can give my only half of my money back and the rest in gas cards. This site is such a rip off that know i have money floating in an account that I will never use.. What the hell is wrong with this company. Is this the way you conduct business and automatically charge people for bids that you should have warned people about. That should have been up there way before you even asked for the credit card information. I am out 100.00 that I couldn't afford to give out.

penny Auction you win nothing in fact the winner pays double the price and the losers just lose a bunch of money trying to winner, you pay any where from 37 to 60 cents depending on what kind of package you buy. you, big ticket items could be bid on for 2 days, at $.60 a bid so people bid something up to $260.00, that's $1440.00, then the person who won this item (, which usually cost $500 or $600 if you went to the store) has to pay the $260.00 plus delivery, how is he winning the item, and Zbiddy is making $1700.00 for a $600 item. So in my eyes it is a scam, now if the person who won didn't have to pay anything that would be winning. and zbiddy would still be making $840 for the things you know their not paying anywhere near what they say they are. There is no winning in zbiddy you pay to bid and pay when you win

I bought something for .01 and then there was a charge of $79.00. What is this? I have tried to contact Zbiddy and yet no response. I guess this is a scam. All charges must be returned except the 1 cent. Nothing has ever arrive at my residence The $79.00 should be returned and all connections to Zbiddy Montreal QCCA cancelled after return..I want to tell all people to beware of this company. What gives?

I looked at this sight and saw an I-pad. input my credit card, (very stupid) and should have been charged 59.00 but was charged 99.00. I called immediately to tell them to cancel and refund the 99.00 back. Did a big run a round with a guy named Matt. Told me he would give me an additional $100.00 in bidding bucks to use for restaurant cards. I never opened any of the email or logged into the account with Zbiddy. Called my cc company to dispute charges (Citi Card) and they did reverse the $99.00. But after 3 weeks notify me that I did use the services of Zbiddy.com they sent emails that showed my using the account. The only thing is the email had the recipient name blocked out and the email date was August of 2011! My first contact with Zbiddy.com was in July 2012. This is FRAUD and I feel an attorney might be interested in a class action lawsuit. What do you think?

I recieved an e-mail from these people and since I was looking for an apple computer I thought I would try the service. Wow thank goodness for all the people who took the time to file complaints..When I put my info from my credit card in they said it wouldn't work! So I entered another card .They tried charging both cards. I just spoke to the companies and had to cancel both cards to keep these thieves from my accounts. I say thank you again because of you I took care of this within 3 hours of giving them my information! I will be without my credit cards for a couple of weeks but it saved me alot of money I am sure! I really hope this company gets investigated and I will do my part by turning this into the Attorney Generals office and see what they can do..along with the Police who investigate fraud and theft via the computer systems.

Your post is now on a public forum, which means everyone has access to your credit card number. The complaint isn't going to whoever charged your card. I recommend you click on the "e-mail" link on the bottom of this page to have your post removed.

Maybe publicizing your credit card number is how you ended up with charges you don't remember authorizing.
