CarSponsors.com / SponsorAmerica nothing to fit my car

I have a 1963 Corvair Spyder and they told they had 30 companies willing to sponsor me.
Come to find out as far as they go back is 1976.
They have nothing to help me with except taking my money, that's a hell of a way to treat a retired person don't you think especially if they are on a fixed income.
Last picture has most of interior done with no outside help.
Someone at this company is eating good, hope they choke and dye.

CarSponsors.com / SponsorAmerica Do your homework and steer clear of this site

This site looks real nice.So I aplyed. Not even 2 days later he called me and said I have the right car to be sponsored. Then he gave a Great speach about being sponsored. The guy is a Great speach artist at pulling you in to pay the 197$ fee needed to join and get the process started, then he says he will need to call you everyday, But when you try to call him he says hes in meetings or that hes still working on it and does Not return phone calls. Please do not join this site or Pay money to them. Its been over 2 weeks and still no phone call to say anything about progress with sponsors. Do your homework and steer clear of this site. Good luck.

Carsponsorships.com has been around for a while and is one of the biggest scams going. They used to be $49.99 back in the day, and will sponsor any and every car...Heck, you can send them a picture of a lawnmower and they will say you got the right car to be sponsored. Do a CC reversal and get your $$$$ back, its a big scam. All they offer is 10-30% discounts off to buy junk thats marked up 70% to begin with..

CarSponsors.com / SponsorAmerica Car Sponsors

My grandson who is 17, asked to use my credit card number to register with Car Sponsors. He was told on line that it was free to register. They just needed the card to list him in the program. My card was charged $99.00. He has not heard from the program since. He was told he would be found a sponsor who would fix up his car to sponsor. This is a major rip-off. Especially since he is under age. They have not offered to make this right!

CarSponsors.com / SponsorAmerica Carsponsors.com has another website!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know the Carsponsors.com has a new website floating around trying to lure in more idiots to scam out of their money! The website is called igotfreeparts.com. There's a fake testimonial from some dorky client of there's with his piece of ### Scion saying that he recieved over $6000 in free parts. Don't fall for this! The only reason why this guy has those parts on his car is because he is an asskisser! I've heard from inside sources at Carsponsors that this client would go in to the office every day just to kiss the owners ###!

Beware of this site. If you see it pop up on myspace, close it out! The website once again is...

That [censored]bags name is phil and yeah...he's a kissass. The reason he gets free parts is because he actually helps around there office with there phone systems. You know? The system that calls every single application that is left incomplete on there website. You can tell I used to work there.

CarSponsors.com / SponsorAmerica Fraud and cheating

I called these guys, carsponsors.com, after seeing an add on Myspace. So I gave them a call and they were sooo excited about sponsoring my 350Z. Told me how they can add a super charger, sterero, ground effects, etc provided by their sponsors. Then they said they need $89.00 to process, so like an idiot, I gave them my credit card number. I was put on hold - likely they were verifying my card - and so I was approved. After reading between the lines, I read they would not go over $2500.00 a year in sponsorship of products. A super charger costs upwards of $4800.00 - just for parts.

So I e-mailed them, called them (left a message of course, no one answered), and left messages to cancel my sponsorship. Then I called American Express and told them my plight. They researched and found that carsponsors.com received no messages from me. So I'm still out 89 bucks. But the good people at American express pulled their plug so they can not use my card again.

Rip off, but I'm still gonna fight this crap!

EVERYONE ! THESE PEOPLE ARE 100% NO DOUBT A SCAM AND LET ME TELL YOU WHY IN A VERY SHORT POST: I CURRENTLY OWN A CUSTOMS AUTOMOTIVE STYLING COMPANY HERE IN LOS ANGELES CA AND I SPONSOR A TON OF PEOPLE OUT HERE AND FOR ONE REASON ONLY, ANYONE WHO HAS EVER OWNED A COMPANY CAN KNOW THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF A BUSINESS IS MARKETING AND ADVERTISEMENT AND IF YOU HAVE PAID FOR THESE THINGS YOU NO IF COST AN ARM AND A LEG AND A FEW MORE OTHER BODY PARTS. ANYWAYS DOING GOOD WORK OR OFFERING PARTS WHATEVER IT MIGHT BE FOR SIMPLE MARKETING ON CARS OF PEOPLE DOING STANDS AT SHOWS AND SHOWING OFF THERE VEHICLES HAS MADE ME 150% THE MONEY IT COST ME TO SPONSOR THESE PEOPLES CARS PEOPLE COMIING TO MY SHOP SAYING THEY SAW SOMEONES CAR WITH MY WORK ON IT AND THIS HAS BROUGHT CUSTOMERS FROM ALL OVER THE USA. NO ONE AND I SAY AGAIN NO ONE SHOULD EVER CHARGE FOR MARKETING SPONSORSHIP OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT WHAT THESE PEOPLE DO AT CARSPONSORS.COM AND IM SURE OF IT IS TAKE YOUR MONEY PAY OUT THE COMMISSION TO THE SALES AGENT AND THEN FOR SURE THEY HAVE SOME TYPE OF AGREEMENT WITH THESE PARTS COMPANIES AND PAY THEM A KICK BACK FOR THE MARKETING OR SOME TYPE OF ADVERTISEMENT AND THEN THEY WILL SEND THEM DEFECT PARTS, NOW I SAY DEFECT PARTS CAUSE THESE ARE PARTS THAT THE COMPANY CAN NOT SELL DUE TO SMALL THINGS A SCRATCH HERE WEIRD PRINT LITTLE MINOR THINGS THAT YOU WOULD PROBABLY NOT NOTICE BUT IT IS NOT APPROVED TO BE SHIPPED OUT. SO BASICALLY THEY HAVE YOU WORK YOUR ### OFF SPREADING THERE NAMES SO THEY CAN SUCKER IN AS MANY PEOPLE AS THEY CAN SO THEY CAN SEND YOU SOME ### PART FOR YOUR CAR AND IT IS NOT EVEN WORTH THE MAN HOURS, THAT IS JUST MY THOUGHT ON THE COMPANY BUT I COULD BE WRONG. ANYWAYS THERE A SCAM BOTTOM LINE THEY PROBABLY ALSO USE THE OLD ### EXCUSE ABOUT THE BBB BEING A PRIVATELY FUNDED COMPANY AND IF YOU DONT PAY THEM THERE FEE TO BE CERTIFIED THOUGH THEM THEY GIVE YOU A BAD RATING AND THE BBB IS THE SCAM BLAH BLAH BLAH. COMPLAINTS DON'T LIE PEOPLE DONT WASTE THERE TIME TYPING OUT A WHOLE STORY JUST FOR NO REASON AND AGAIN IF IT IS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE THAT IS CORRECT ITS NOT TRUE. YOU CAN GO DIRECTLY TO THE COMPANIES THEM SELVES AND REQUEST SPONSORSHIP EITHER THEY DO IT OR NOT BUT YOU HAVE TO GIVE IN RETURN OFFER SOMETHING THAT WILL BENEFIT THE COMPANY AND NOT JUST A STICKER ON THE BACK WINDOW GO TO SHOWS REP THE COMPANY AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU AS WELL A PAIR OF RIMS REALLY COST NOTHING FOR THEM SO KEEP THAT IN MIND

HOPE THIS HELPS GUYS I WOULD PUT OUT MY COMPANY NAME BUT I DONT WANT TO BE HASSLED BY THESE IDIOTS

You can get your free products by promoting your sponsors from the comfort of your own home. You'll be promoting your sponsors videos on sites like FaceBook, MySpace, YouTube and other car related sites. It's easy and it's fun. Your product cost is zero. No out of pocket expenses, not even shipping. Perfect sponsorship type to start with. Not all sponsors are enrolled into the video sponsorships at the time of this writing.

You can promote sponsors by attending car shows. Wear your sponsors apparel and hand out promotional items and educate others on the sponsors products. Your product cost is just gas & travel time to local car shows plus $9.85 per sponsor promotional package. Products get shipped free. Perfect sponsorships for those that enjoy going to car shows. Each sponsor has their own required shows to go to before products are shipped. Lower priced products will have less shows to go to then higher priced products. Please email us if you would like the guidelines for each sponsor.

You can participate in our Loyalty Program. If you need your products in your hands now, our Loyalty Program allows you to purchase your products at a special sponsored discount and get reimbursed for it later once you promote your sponsors via online videos or car shows. If you decide that you do not want to promote sponsors then you just simply keep the products you purchased.

You can participate in 1 or all 3 sponsorship choices at any time.

It could be just me, and I am in no way affiliated with carsponsors.com, but I dont think a one time $99 dollar registration fee (Im assuming they've raised it $10 bucks since you guys enrolled)is bad at all for $2, 500 dollars a year in goodies, I read one complaint about having to do ten shows to get a body kit but not one state offers more than 2 shows, I guess everyone expects these companies to just throw money and products at them, nothing in life is free, so stop expecting it to be! Carsponsors.com has a very detailed "Terms and Conditions" page that clearly gives specific details as to what you need to do in order to receive what you were told you would receive, you people cant be mad at the company because you were too eager and didnt research what you were getting into, heck they even went as far into detail to tell you that within 30 days if you werent satisfied that you would get a full refund, minus 29 dollars for their fees. I got my "full Sponsorship but decided to read the terms and conditions before releasing my card information, and googling reviews on the webpage brought me here. I believe that they offer a very legitimate deal, but you have to work hard to earn your sponsorship, but can actually receive it, try going to alpine without them and see how far you get, lol. I wish everyone the best of luck in all their adventures and would hope that you ALWAYS read the Terms and Conditions, A.K.A "the fine print" before entering into any contractual agreement, especially through an internet based company. Best of luck to everyone that reads this on your future endevors...
Sincerely,

CarSponsors.com / SponsorAmerica ripped off

A few weeks ago I signed up for carsponsors.com, they said it was free and only needed my credit card info for verification purposes. Today, after getting my bank statement, I found out that I was charged $89.00 from them. I never authorized this company to use my credit card for $89.00, and I don't know what to do now.
thank you,
matt huff

CarSponsors.com / SponsorAmerica Scam and abuse!

They ripped me off too. Pretty much the same scam. I knew better but they suck you in. also the ad being on myspace you tend to trust it. I am out $89 now for nothing. The original ad said I was entered in a contest to pimp my ride. After they have you credit card number they no longer mention that. They only mention carsponsorship...

I am going to give it a shot. My nonprofit (www.plugnplaymn.org) is seeking sponsorships for their show truck.

It is a '03 S10 with a '39 Studebaker hotrod body (pictures at www.39stude.com). I am hoping we can work around the body mod and get some sponsorships.

I am willing to wrap the entire truck in a vinyl wrap - so, I hope to encourage going that far.

wow i can't believe all these newbies your never going to get anything for free and if any of you were smart enough to actually read the terms and conditions of the agreement that you signed and paid for then you would have relized that it is an rpm program to help those that truely seek sponsorships to get their foot in the door. You are responsible for buying the parts at a discounted price and then if you place in a legit show then they reimbusre you for the part thats how sponsorships work you only get free parts if you actually stay with a company and get signed I hope you all enjoyed your time trying to be what others strive to be everyday. I have been with them since 05 and i have had 2 cars sponsored by them i have been reimbured several times i have even been give free parts they are not always big one. but nice enough that i have several carshow trophies and several offers for full sponsorships

I was also told by carsponsor that i was apprved for all kinds of parts for my 1988 GMCpick-up truck. Then they told me that i would have to pay 200.00 dollars for a application fee which is not mentioned when they make trhere advertisment on television if your approved for something free then they want to charge you for a application something dont sound right about this. They were going to do frontend work paint wheels-tires interior but they wanted that money first. Dont they know that people wants to see parts before they send money. Also they were wanting me to drive to ingles grocery store to send payment somebody needs to check these people out.Ithink they are ripping people off. If you can find out who is doing this tell them to contact me.They seemed to get all disgusted when i told them that i was layed-off and could not afford it.They told me that i would never be contacted again. Big deal i have been around long enough to know that theres nothing in life free.Just give me a call and explain yourself looks like a dead beat to me.

It would not let me submit my application with out a credit card info, so how did your (manaba55) application go through? I think your are crazy, unless you hacked in to the main frame of the carsponsor web site! I did not enter a credit card info, how do you pay some one to have them sponsor you? By entering any credit card info, it now becomes you sponsoring them. Dont do it. It sounds like a fish, it looks like a fish and it really smells fishy. Beware!
