Fortune Learning Systems Online business coaching and website domain name

Hello, to whom it may concern, i am writing to your organization because of the fact that my mother and i have been scammed by "Fortune Learning Systems" . We were under the impression that by working with this company that we would be able to start an online business, soon after they shut down. The company apparently "unknown to mom and myself" was under investigation for defrauding customers. My Mother's credit card company would NOT wipe out the $16,000.00 worth of Fraud . We have to Pay it. NOT FAIR!

Desired outcome: Full Refund of $16,000.00 and Forgiven Taxes Owed for 2022

Fortune Learning Systems rip off

My wife and i were thinking about our future and how we would secure our retirement. When we started checking out web sit services on the internet. I signed up for Home web site center and started posting my sites (witch i have not sold anything yet). A few days after getting started we received a call from the fortune learning systems, the people on the phone were fast talking and very convincing. We came to an agrement on a price to get started and then got started. We had three out of the four promised coaching sessions (wich was a benefit to us) and then they disapered after they got our money. on the thirty day mark i called my credit card co. and stoped payment and after thirty days we received all of our money back(thank god). Do not get fooled by these clowns like we did hang up on them when they call .

Fortune Learning Systems Non Performance of Paid for Services

I initially started with Fortune Learning Systems in late September 2010. The company worked with me thru early December 2010 and then agreed with my personal coach to place my program on hold which the coach said would save my coaching sessions and I could start back without any problem. I was ready to start back with the website design in early April 2011. When I tried to contact the company by phone, the message I got was that the number was no longer in service. I also sent an email to my coach questioning what was going on. I received no response. Then I got on the internet and I found out the dismal truth that the company had shut down. I purchased the following services from Fortune Learning Systems: Establish an Internet Business - & 7, 505; Internet Supplier Resource Service - $ 1, 200; Corporation and Tax Services for my Internet Business - $ 4, 990; and finally 4 months of the Fortune Learning Systems Website Builder amounting to another $ 160. All this amounted to $ 13, 855. All this expense went on my credit card and I'm still paying this off with interest! Now I can't even get in touch with anyone at the company to at least keep going with the program to get my website operational! This company cheated me out of nearly $ 14, 000! I will most certainly join in a collective suit against this company that is without honor or integrity. Tom

Fortune Learning Systems FRAUD/ Well organized scam comprising of several entities

They enticed me to take part of their so-called ECOMMERCE where individuals are trained one on one to prepare and start his own internet business by selling goods taken from manufacturers they claimed they have connections with. Once a week, for about 30 minutes or less, a designated coach would call me and have the coaching sessions especially learning how to do business on internet.
The course or training takes about 6 months. They guarenteed me that if after six months I still cannot be left on my own...that they will continue to walk me through selling online until I get back my investment.
The whole operation is well organized. One coach has his own telephone and email address. Another person, in charge of business licences (LCC etc) also takes part in coaching me how to get the license and corporate credit line. Another coach would call me and present himself as in charge of products to be sold on line with manufacturers. Another coach would call and teach me how to invest any money I might have for "active"investment. All these coaches are located in different locations judging from their area codes. The main office, I believe is stationed in Las Vegas as shown in the bank statement.
They told us that since this is a one-on-one mode of training, the duration of the training would depend on individual speeds in learning. They said it takes at least 6 months (at 30 minutes per session once a week frequentcy). The fee would be prorated over
these months until the whole package is done at which time I would be left alone to conduct this so-called worldwide business by internet or ECOMMERCE.
In my case, I only had one short session, the third scheduled session The first session, the orientation session, did not go through because I had computer trouble at the very start of the session.
The next session (sessions took place on Tuesday afternoons) we were able to carry on. I was given assignment to sell some products from my house at Ebay. Another assignment was to conduct a research on Ebay selling from their own website, flslearn.com
The third supposed session did not take place as I had a doctor's appointment.
The fourth session, supposedly to take place March I, 2011 did not take place because my coach sent me an email that he would not be available until March 7.
AT THIS POINT, I TRIED TO LOG IN TO THEIR WEBSITE...AND THE WEBSITY ALLEGEDLY WAS OUT OF ORDER UNDERGOING REPAIRS...THEN, I READ FROM THE COMPLAINTSBOARD OF OTHERS LIKE ME WHO WERE SCAMMED. SO I CALLED ALL THE NUMBERS OF MY COACHES AND ALL THOSE PHONE ARE NOT WORKING...NO RINGINGS NOR BUSY SIGNALS...JUST NOTHING..! JUST SILENCE. THAT IS WHEN I BEGAN TO REALIZE THAT I WAS BEING VICTIMIZED LIKE THE MANY OTHERS.

The phone numbers work but direct you to a different website.
FLSLEARN.COM is down. When I sent my coach an e-mail last Sat morning, I got a reply saying they were closed due to an emergency.
I sent an e-mail today to my coach, Tues Mar 2, 2011 and he hasn't replied. I'm inclined to agree with the other complainants on here.
I invested $9.995. and even filed an LLC...but when I get it from the Sec of State I'm going to have to dissolve it, I'm afraid. When your gut tells you something is wrong, heed your gut...I googled Fortune Learning Systems, and all these complaint websites came up.
I've had several training sessions, but my life coach hasn't even called me back. They took my money...now I'm further in debt instead of making money to get out of debt... I'm not a happy camper...
Anyone want to file a class action suit? Or is one started...Let me know. j8708b@yahoo.com

Fortune Learning Systems Fraud!

I see that I'm not the only one out there who fell for this scam. It happened just how all of you have written, the lengthy calls, the whole build-up, everything. I stuck with them the whole six months. The website was being built, I had a couple of suppliers, and then wham. I had an appointment with their tax consultant that was never returned. Numerous calls to reschedule were not answered. As of today, every phone number from anyone I've ever talked to during these six months is invalid. Emails are returned as undeliverable, and even the flslearn website that I was to have access to for a year is no longer up and running. I am so discouraged and upset. I was truley getting excited about this finally coming into being. DO NOT fall into this mess . . if anyone reads all these complaints, we hope you take note and tell them to ____ ___. If anyone has any suggestions on how to recoup losses, please let me know.

I too was ripped off. Had a scheduled appointment with my online coach, had sent him homework, no call. no returned email. Some guy from New York was calling me to pressure me to buy an LLC and I told him I haven't heard from FLS, couldn't get through to them by phone or email. He didn't know that FLS had shut everyone out after scamming them for money. soon I didn't hear from him anymore either. I live in Ontario, Canada so chances are like a snowball's chance in hell that I ever get my money back.

This whole ordeal has gotten me so depressed. I'm happy to see this posting. Happy to see that I won't be finding a solution on my own. I'm near $30, 000 in the hole. From all of the 4 companies I was told would call me. The Business Development Division has gone under as well and moved to Acorn Corporate Services. They don't call me back. Then the other Company from New York that has many names and phone numbers and people...but nobody wants to talk to you unless they are teaming up to take your money. They have it but I can't seem to find anyone to talk to now. I'm going to try Acorn one more time to see if they are going to live up to the agreement I had with the Business Development Division. After that I'm going to dispute all of the charges I have currently as I'm never going to be able to sleep knowing how much money I'm in the hole. Even just the interest makes me want to throw up. I'll post on here again with how it's all working out for me. I'm going to take action now because depression gets me nowhere. We can do it! Thanks for posting this again. Gives us all hope :)

Hi, my name is Linda and I live outside of Houston, TX. I too am out a ton of money from this group as well. I started with them last year and unfortunately got pulled into everything. I am out close to $20K now with nothing concrete to show for it except for my LLC and a lot of knowledge. I agree with Marcia - action pays greater dividends than anger. I just found this website which I am going to follow up on besides filing a complaint with the Utah BBB. The Utah Attorney General's office has a consumer fraud division. If you want to file a complaint with them, follow this link: http://www.consumerprotection.utah.gov/complaints/index.html. If enough people file a complaint with them, they will have to at least investigate. The fact that all of a sudden, FLSlearn.com is down, wholesalematch.com is down and no one is answering the phone raises a huge red flag. Good luck to all of us.

Hi everyone, me too, I'm Marcia from Ohio. Listen everyone, you also need to file an official complaint with the UtahBBB. Why Utah? Because this is Fortune Learning Systems base, not Las Vegas, or another town. From reading other complaints I in some ways feel fortunate not to have fallen for everything. Although they did get $8, 620.00 of our money plus the $39.95 a month for webhosting for 7 months. I was pretty far into the program. Website completely done. Hate to say it but I had a pretty nice coach that told me "everything" and most probably some things he most probably shouldn't have. I know, you're thinking she likes FLS - NOPE! He didn't pressure me into anything. I found my "own" dropshippers, he didn't even mention any too me. I found my "own" products, he didn't suggest any sights. When I did bring up some of them because I saw them on their builder pages, he stirred me away from them. Go figure. Did anybody else have Derek Iorg for their coach? I have a computer guy that works on my computer and suggested I back up the sight. Did I? NO. If any of us have backed up our sights we would have them and be able to move them to a reputable webhosting site. Has anyone heard anything about godaddy.com? Cause that's where I'm heading next. Fortune Learning Systems is NOT going to take me down without a fight. Did you know that you can still log-on to the flsbuilder.com and hit help and get the support section. These people are clueless as to what has happened to fls because they are in different countries. I'm still commuincating with them trying to get them to wake up that the company fls that they are doing support for is no longer there! Go ahead, try it, maybe they'll get a clue. Watch your browser when it brings up the address, not even a fls address. I'm thinking they may be victims also. We didn't fall for the LLC people, credit people, etc. We (my husband and I) basically knew all that information because we already own a vending business and knew everything there was to know about licensces. I feel terrible that some of you have invested in these other cretins. I have a yearly contract, not anything I have says 6 months. What I don't understand is this, you may want to try this also. Plug in Powered by FLSBuilder.com in the google search, you get over 4, 000+ websites that are powered by them. Go ahead, click on them, they are coming up! Why? Mine's not when I click on it in the listing. Are these websites created by fls to make themselves look good? Can anyone explain that one? I'm not giving up on my internet business. I'm taking everything I have learned, which is alot, and rebuilding my site on most probably godaddy.com. Yes, I will check them out. Godaddy.com, their shopping cart is the same as fls. So if you were putting all your information on, images, descriptions, etc., you should be able to tackle godaddy.com's. They offer you everything that FLS did, but there is NO big money exchange. They have package deals which basically cost about the same amount that FLS charged for hosting, that's it, no other cost, 24/7 support, etc. NO, I'm not plugging godaddy.com, I'm searching other avenues to continue with my business. Please make sure to go to the UtahBBB and file an official complaint. This is what I am asking for in my complaint: 1.$8, 899.65 back = $8, 620.00 for initial contract $39.95 for 7 months $279.65 of webhosting fees 2. the rights to my website www.rileycreekfloatingcandles.com 3. back the exact way I built it 4. capability to be able to work on my website as I have in the past 5. the right to take my website to another webhosting site 6. legal action brought against Fortune Learning Systems, their Employees, Ivy Capital, Inc., their Employees, and any affiliated companies and their Employees 7. want them to be taken down as to NOT to be able to do business under any other name, in any other State or Country 8. to be stopped from destroying any more lives. I may not get all these, but at least it's in writing, and I'm not waiting around to see if I do get my site to be able to move it. There are a few of you I am going to get in touch with. We all have lived and learned from this company. There's a saying "A man learns more from his failures than from his successes." We've all learned, now it's time to do something. We all started going into this with great ideas to sell on the internet. I took my products and have made stores on Webstore.com, eCrater.com, and yes, I have products on eBay for sale (I'm ohmygracie on those sites). Not plugging for business! Just check out what I did, you can too! Let's turn this negative into a positive. I completely, wholeheartedly, agree with everyones complaints, because they are mine also. Yes it's a terrible thing that has happened to all of us. But in the end, FLS is going to find out who they are dealing with. So we need to do everything in our power to do what needs to be done. Pull ourseleves up by the shirt tales, dust ourselves off, and do what we need to do. If anyone would like to email me you may do so at: mawebster@fairpoint.net Thanks for reading, hope this helps, it's ok to be angry, we all are, but we need to move on from angry to action. Good luck everyone, and God bless all of us.

Hey I fell into the same trap. At least I didn't pay all money upfront. I am so furious I was actually excited about this. I called my credit card company and contested the charges and I got them reversed. I spent $9, 005 then FLS shut down their webpage and now no number is working. I tried every number I could find and got nothing. I went as far to find the home address of my so called "coach". I called him at his home and he hung up on me. They are a bunch of cheats. But yes contact your bank or credit card company and dispute the charges.

Hi, we are in the same boat! If you used your credit card...tell them you are contesting the charge...Remember when talking to the bank people...that the whole package is for 6 months or more...like paying a tuition for your on line learning sessions. "The package or merchandise is NOT completelydone...so, you can still decline or return the "goods" in this case, the coaching sessions/learning sessions.
I hope this will help you.

Hint: If you have finished the sessions, you might have difficulty getting all your money back...However, since it did not give you what FLS promised to give...it is like buying a television and returning it because you did not like its performance etc. etc. etc.

Fortune Learning Systems Misrepresentation

I had answered an ad to make extra money at home listing auction sites. Then I received a call from Fortune Learning Systems claiming I could make considerably more money by selling on line using other peoples' money and just reaping the benefits of people buying products from my site. I was charged $2005 to get me set up. I was still to pay them $1005. I was then assigned a coach. However, when I tried to reach the coach for support, I did not get any. Also, phone calls were not returned. In this economy, when people are struggling, giving them hope to get their finances under control is like finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I was also promised they would have me out of debt in six months. The only thing they wanted from me was my testimonial. These people should be stopped immediately before more people are hurt. Thank you. Toni Catenacci

Fortune Learning System victims should file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commision. The FTC website is ftc.gov/complaint, The FTC phone number is [protected]. Also, be careful there are companies trying to get money out of us by promising to help you recover all or a portion of your money for a fee. Also, contact your credit card company to report the fraud. If you’ve transferred your balance from one visa to another, you’ll need to go back to the first credit card that shows IVY CAPITAL on the statement. Credit card companies usually have a 120 day policy for filing fraud complaints. Call your credit card company and let them know what has happened even it is more than 120 days. Even though my charge occurred last August, My credit card company has requested a letter
Remember we need to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, even if you don’t know Fortune or Ivy Capitals address.

We were also scammed Fortune Learning System for about $10, 000. We posted our complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, and would recommend others to do the same. I think others should be aware that there are businesses out their that are trying to get 400 to 600 dollars out of ivy capitals victims. Recently, I was approached by a company called Business Recovery Services. and they are promising that you would get your money back with their help. I think we should all be aware that there are sharks out there ...looking for easy money.

It seems these people at FLS have different pricings. They even allow installment payments...They are really out to get your money.
My initial fee was over $ 5, 000.00... I was able to dodge an additional $ 5, 000.00 (for business set up, licencing etc. etc.) by insisting that I will only go there when I have finished my training. Now, like the many others, I feel stupid and violated!
If somebody knows of a lawyer who can represenet us all, maybe we can have a class action suit against this company. The charges in the credit card statement suggest that the receiver of our hard earned money is in Las Vegas...

Please let us know if we can have a class action suit filed against this company.

I also recieved a call from the Fortune Learning system after answering an add as a listing agent. They scammed me out of just under $5000, I asked them before signing up if there would be anymore fees associated with this I was told no. Not even a week later I was contacted to set up my business structure in which they wanted another payment this time just under $4000 dollars when I told them I didnt have the money they went down to $1250 and I pay for the paper work, I didnt give them any more money and I have tried contacting them but they wont respond. I am still trying to get my money back but i think it is gone. I have put a block on my credit card so they cannot take any more money from me. Their system sounds fantastic and realistic and makes sense when they are talking to you about it but it is nothing more then them stealing your hard earn money. I hope they are stopped. I agree, Fortune Learning System is a total scam from the word go. I don't see how they sleep at night the way that they lie to people. I signed a contract with them based on our phone conversations and lies. I'm suppose to pay them $169.00 for 2 years but will have this paid off in no later than 6 months. Well, so far i'm being charges $39.95 a month and I still have no website. That was to be included. I agree, these people need to be stopped but how. If anyone can help me, please let me know. joetta7579@gmail.com

Fortune Learning Systems Unscrupulous Business Practices

I was contacted by this company after sending money ($95) to supposedly list items on Ebay for various companies’ products and getting $5 for each listing. The representative I spoke to said that their company (for a fee) can help me get set up with a my own website selling my own product. It had nothing to do with listing items on ebay. It sounded good. I was assured that I would receive 10 “coaching” sessions, my own website would be made and I was guaranteed that I would recoup my investment of $7500 in 6 months. The first 4 coaching sessions centered around selling my own stuff on ebay that I had laying around the house to “get familiar with selling on ebay”. I followed my “coach’s” instructions to the letter and listed several things on ebay that I had. Some of them sold and some of them didn’t. There was still no mention of the “website” that I thought was going to be made for me, (at least that’s what they implied). At the end of the 3 month, we finally get around to “selecting” a product to sell. I was told that I would have to make this website myself, but for a fee ($500) they would make it for me. In the meantime, I was getting various calls from different departments of Fortune Learning Systems, wanting me to commit to even more money to set up a LLC ($1400), subscribe to a dropshipper that teaches you how to make money online (wholesalematch.com), but they don’t tell you how much the membership is until you sign up and give them a credit card number. So I created my website (selling watches) and to this day, 5 months later, I have sold zero watches. My coaching sessions are over and I’m still $7500 in debt, I have a website that I’m being charged $39 a month for a web hosting fee. I called and complained about this, so I was sent to a resolutions coach who said he would take over my coaching until I got results from my website. I’ve had 2 coaching sessions with him and so far no mention of how to improve my website, but we did discuss why I was afraid to make changes in my thinking. He told me I had to think out of the box and that he basically couldn’t help me with website design but could get someone to help me with this for the $500 charge. We set up the next coaching session for the next week. I didn’t hear from him, so I emailed him again and asked him why he didn’t call. I didn’t hear anything back. I emailed him several times and suggested that I change products that maybe watches wasn’t a good idea. I never heard back from him again. I emailed a different person and he said he would let him know that I needed to talk to him. Again, I heard nothing for a week or so. I called them on the phone and was assured that he would get my message. I finally heard back from him a week later and he left me a voice mail asking me to call him back and we would set up another coaching session. He said he was stuck in traffic and that’s why he didn’t get back to me and that his email address had changed. (I got this information from a secretary.) There was no mention of any of the previous emails that I had sent. I called one of the two owners of this company (Steve Lyman and Chris Zeilig) and left him (Steve Lyman) a voice mail requesting a refund of my money and I never got a call back. I emailed my coach again on Saturday 10/23 and told him that I was finished with Fortune Learning Systems and told him I didn’t want anymore sessions with him and I wanted my money back and asked him how I get a refund. I didn’t get a response. Today (11/28)my “coach” called me for our next scheduled session with no mention of ANY of my emails that I had sent. Every time I have a specific question, it never gets answered either by no response from them or dancing around the issue with insinuations that my lack of success is all my fault. I have done everything that my “coaches” told me to do. I believe I have put in 100% effort into this to make it work. All I want is my money back and no one seems to be able or are willing to let me know how I do this.

I am not sure where to turn from here. I sent this letter to the Nevada BBB and they referred me to some other sources so I'm just contacting them one at a time. I know this company is doing business in Utah and I wonder if you've received any other complaints about them. Your reply is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I to am having a very very similar problem except mine goes into their programming problems also. That is not why I'm writing. I fell for all their run around also, and started doing more searches on how to accomplish what they asked, for free. I have been out of work for about 5 months, and even when I started this program (which was 2 months ago) money was real tight. So all their buildup was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately they have a lot of smoke to blow;). I read that you already have an active site, good job, your farther than what they could get me. But I understand the problem with the hosting fee. One that I'm about to try, that is free, that seems pretty reputable, and that accepts affiliate marketing is 365 hosting. I figure if your still not making anything but want to get away from the cost maybe that would be a shot. No expense, free exposure. Also, with all the new spam crap your probably getting since you started with them, look at the free offers from them i.e. the free e Books. Its all information about the industry, and in a already thriving industry and competitive edge could help. One thing I have learned through all this is drive you traffic if people don't know your their they don't know how to find you. Hope some of this helps. Best of Luck. I am dealing with them now also, they did contact me from a Utah, they had told me they were BBB accredited, they caught me at a time when I was struggling and focused on that aggressively to get me to commit with promises of great wealth success, I am from Canada, so any help you can give me, I would appreciate to help me resolve this situation.

Fortune Learning Systems dishonest practices

I have many complaints about this company like many other people have. I fell for there BS talk over the phone.

After reading others complaining I see that they charge different prices depending on how much credit is on your credit cards. I just got off the phone with Josh Burningham who one of the people in the other branch of Ivy Capitol told me to call him personally to help me. The lady in the BDD branch did her own research on Fortune Learning Systems and agreed with me that they are distrustful of what they say. They word everything to cover their butts for these reasons right here.

I went through 3 or so different coaches, they didn't teach me one thing, they all babbled about selling on e-bay which any brain dead can do. Other than talking about e-bay one of the coaches (last session that we had) started talking about his trip to the Bahama's and if I remember right the sessions were supposed to run 30 mins to an hour (it's been awhile since I have dealt with them). When I talked to them on the last session the call only went for 10-15 mins.

Anyways there coaching sessions are bull. When I talked to Josh Burningham on the phone he told me that they can't see how much is on my credit cards which is false, they look them up and see how much I can fork over to them. There were 3 options of payment which after reading other complaints all the prices are different for everyone.

I am going to be filing the form in the attorney general of Nevada and if anyone has more information that I could do to get my full refund back please leave me a message.

Brad Shipp

Fortune learning systems also took 4, 060 from me, they are the same people as storesonline which they were sued in several states by general attorneys that's why they change their name, they use the same line to get people to sign up to their BS, so if lots of people get together and complain at the same time there is big chance to get the money back so here is my email if some one is willing to fight for it
henarj@aol.com
also report them to the FTC

It's simple to get your money back if you can stand up to these ###, but be forewarned they check this site, and have ambulance chasers call and send certified letters to you. I was able to help a friend of mine recover their lost money (16000.00+), but it takes a big commitment to get it from all of these phony companies. In my state it is legal to record a conversation as long as one party on the call is aware (me or you not them). Send us a message if you need or want the help...

Fortune Learning Systems Scam

Everyone Beware! Fortune Learning Systems is a company working with Ivy Capital, ICI Success, VianetWebzone, Business Development Division, WholeSaleMatch or The Shipper, and they now are using the name Apply Knowledge Institute. The front is a Data Entry Position using the names Jennifer Johnson or Jennifer Davis etc. After you sign up for this in a few days you will get a call and be told that they are looking for someone to make a SUCCESS. They really build you up, then ask for your credit information. Then they will tell you about the large sums of money you can make. It's as easy as doing an e-mail. You don't need any computer experience. STOP Right There. You will go nowhere and they will have a lot of money out of you. You will be given a very hard time if you try to get your money back. They lie to the Better Business Bureau. They record you and garble there employees voice, but yours is very enhanced. You are not told you will be recorded. They use there recordings against you. They have lawyers backing there dirty program. I hope this helps you from becoming another victim. We can fight this together. [protected]@gmail.com

As so many other people have stated they scam you out of money for what they said would be a certain way to make money and then the coaching is not complete and then they rope you into the program and make you feel stupid if you do not choose the larger package price because there are different price levels. then after they have roped you in then their so called partners call and say you can't do it unless you get this additional program for another few thousands of dollars and then it seems as if you can't go back and they make it so you do not know who is with what partner and then the coaching certainly is not as stated at all, they think that you are supposed to figure out what they are doing like on the first supposed coaching session. And it goes on and on, I then called to get a refund and was told you signed and we cannot credit you if you do not cancel after 3 days, that is what you signed. How do you know with only three days I said. Any ways, any suggestions to getting my money back?
anyone, Thanks

Unbelievable...I too was scammed out of my life savings. My coach did not have any appointments open at the times I could meet. I called to request a refund of my money and no one would call me back. I found out from my credit card company that if I would have called them first instead of trying to work this out with Fortune Learning Systems they could have disputed the charge up to 180 days. Instead I have to find a way to pay my credit card company back $13, 000.

Help! Help! Help!, we are one of many that fell for the Fortune Learning Systems Scam. We have invested $14, 780.00 into this scam on our credit cards. First sign was asking how much credit did we have left on our credit cards, and we went ahead and fell for it any way, Dumb, better believe it. They make it sound as if any one can do it with all the help they can give you, Tax Division help, Business Development, Coaching, & etc. But you will pay the price and then about the 6th week their system is down and there is no one to talk to. I guess my question is how do we go about getting our money back and how do we stop these scams? We have only been in this for 3 months so hopefully there is a way to get this investment back. My email address is sharon077@centurytel.net if someone could or would contact me on how to go about getting back what we put it I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thank you,
Sharon

LOOK AT THESE FACEBOOK PICTURES...SUCH [censored] BAGS!

If you have not received a refund from these guys its because they closed one company and opened a new one. They are making money and have money to refund, but you have to complain to state officials and federal officers. Here is how I got my refund.

Nicholas Johnson, Josh Lindsay, & Jeff Nielson are former owners of 6 figure as shown at the BBB.

http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/advertising-and-marketing-agencies/six-figure-consulting-in-salt-lake-city-ut-22220703

Now they are operating under a different name Online Success INC. They are not registered with the state or BBB to avoid people finding them. But there address is listed as 7440s Creek Road Place, Sandy UT 84093

I complained to the Utah Consumer Protection Agency & the FTC. According to the FTC this company is already under investigation Case # [protected].

If you complain to those agencies about this being the same owners and the same company you will surely get your refund fast. It took me 14 days and I purchased 12 months ago!

Hope this helps...

I have done this program and IT DOES NOT WORK. I have done everything that had asked me. I have spent $5015 to this company. Come to find out the company is not even that. First of all this company said that if I did not make my money back in 6 months that they would pay me back. I have done the complete program and did not see a penny come in to me. I called my credit card company to get my money back. They took off the money for a month and they put it back after talking to the company. All I would like to have is my money back that I have spent. This company should be took-in off the market and the owner should spend time in jail for fraud. If anyone has gotten there money back from this company please let me know how.

Fortune Learning Systems LLC investment, affiliate fees/hosting

I was contacted with a smooth, put pushy investment offer, stating the possibility of making large income in a short period of time. The investment was divided into threee amounts to be placed on a credit card. They too, asked how much credit was available, and how my credit was currently. The asked if I was aggressive, semi-aggressive or passive investor, and categorized my investment accordingly. I chose to invest $10, 000 on two credit cards to begin my business. Just shortly after investing in my new venture with the company, I injured my hip in an accident. I had a serious hip injury and could not work. I sent email to my coaching instructor but was still charged a web hosting fee of $39.00 for each month since Dec 09 until current June 2010. I inquired about stopping the charge but no action was taking to suspend the charges to date. I have asked for a refund due to the pricing of an LLC of $1800. and an additional charge of $400.00 to WholesaleMatch, all of which I was unaware of. Now the interest is accumulating, and still no word from the company. I was told by Kevin Brown the senior consultant businss agent to contact him anytime with questions, as well as, his "secretary" Navita, in Customer Service, and still no response. I too feel I was misled with other fees, and haven't been able to only have one coaching session since Jan 2010. I too, investigated this company on the Better Businss Bureau and found several problems. Total amount invested with this company is $11, 430... I feel that I have been "scamed"! I am disabled and I cannot even get a response from the Senior Business Consultant or Customer Service...Please respond. Help!

Fortune Learning Systems Failure to refund money

Desperete to have my own business and income, to be my own boss, because the economy is so bad. I invested $201.00 into the career builder Jennifer Johnson to be a on- line listing agent. Before I completed the program, I received a call from Fortune Learing Systems, they said that they would make me a success story, for me to dream big..If I quailify to be a good success story, they would take me in to their program.. Then they started with Questions type sales pitch. They where highly motivated and quick talking.

They talked about guidelines and principal for starting a successful internet business, which would take less time than the average work week. They stressed the importance of leverage capital and how they would teach me to use other peoples money with "no out of pocket expense."

At this point they asked me about my current debit and how I filt about being able to pay it all OFF in a reasonably Short lenght of time. Of course, any normal, hard working person would answer Yes. At the time I had very little credit card debit, so they asked about car payment, ect. ect. At this point I made it clear that I didn't want to over extend my credit.. Then they told me that this was the right program for me...and that this is what I'm looking for..Next they asked may questions about me, and if I'm a motivated and an action taker. They continued to ask me about myself to see if I qualified for the program, tools and the guidance they would offer to me...After an hour of motivational speaking and questioning, I was told tat I was a prime candidate for this success story program. I was than ask to hold while he consulted with the Senior consultant. They would be with me shortly. Very Shortly they told me that I was the type of person they were looking for and I had what it took to make it. They believed that I was very teachable and that I would be worth their investment...

At this point they had me very motivated. I was then told that there would be a ONE TIME investment. But for this consertive investment they would SET UP THE BUSINESS FOR ME, HELP ME BUILD MULTIPLE WEBSITES AND PROVIDE THE NECESSARY TRAINING AND COACHING. I would need to make it work in a short time. The investment I would have to make was $5015.00 (the smallest one they offered) about the only amount left to charge on my credit card. They stressed that I would not need anymore money after this. This was all it took to get many businesses started for me to be very successful. Well 3 days into this agreement, they wanted more money for Limited Liability company $5900.00 to be exact. At that moment I knew I was done, Fortune Learning Systems was not honest with me, and I wanted to cancel at this time. I requested a cancellation, and received one, so I thought. The amount on my charge card of $5015.00 is still on there, and I don't think they have any intention to refund my money. My goal is to make sure that another honest hard working person doesn't fall into this trap.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have been mislead or scammed by Fortune Learing Systems and are looking for Justice. There is power in Numbers.

If you continue with their so called program, which I didn't. You will lose alot more money. If you remember when they interviewed you as a success story, they asked many questions to see what you owned and how much credit you have and so on. As far as I can tell, FLS/ICI already knows what you have and they have a good ideal what they will take. You have many options to get your money back, however the longer you stay in their program the harder it is to get your money back. Remember they are showing you how to use other peoples money...This is what they are excellent at...

So far we have several people that have been deceived by these gangsters in Vegas. If you have been a victim, and they have taken your money, you need to fight. They are using your money to live off of. The interest alone is supporting this crazy so called business. No business I know of charges everyone different prices, for the exact same service. Would you do business with a company that sells a tire to one person for $20, then they turn to you and say but the price for you, for the exact same tire, will be $100, because you, we know, can afford it? They know this is not the way to run a sucessful, honest business. This is the reason they don't tell you up front that you are paying a different price for the same service they offer to another at a lower price. This is FRAUD. If anyone is interested in the definition of fraud, this is it: All multifarious means which human ingenuity can devise, and which are resorted to by one individual to get an advantage over another by false suggestions or suppression of the truth. It includes all surprises, tricks, cunning or dissembling, and any unfair way which another is cheated. Again, I say if this definition of FRAUD fits into your problem with this company, stand up and say something. We work to hard for our money to give it to a company that doesn't run a honest hard working company.

They are horrible. They scammed us too. What's the worst is that I wanted to make money from home because my son's health is deteriorating and I am at home with him, therefore I can't work outside the home. They knew this. And they didn't care! We were feeling desperate after my husband's job loss and they took advantage of us because of it! I wish more than anything to have justice and our money back.

Just to let you all know, yes, this scam is still going. Using the exact tactics as you described. I have also fallen victim of this scam and would like to let the world know just how this company is ran. I still am trying to get things going because I want to give it a fair chance. I call and call no one calls back, scheduled appointments are rarely kept or even call at all. I can't believe a company from the US is screwing other US citizens like this. Seems to me these people should have a hard time sleeping at night just knowing what they are doing to others. Specially in a time as this when a dollar means a lot, several dollars can put you in a world of hurt when on your credit card! Makes me sick!

Thank you so much to the original poster of this story and to all who have commented.
My mother has the unfortunate habit of "investing" in these online business scams and Fortune Learning Systems was the most recent. Luckily for her, I was able to get her to admit to me that she did in fact, give these people over $8000. I told her she needed to call them back and cancel the contract immediately, before her three days was up. She did call them back but the "resolutions specialist" bullied her into staying with the program.
The following day, my husband did some online research, found this story, along with others and I sent my mother the link. She said reading this particular story was "jarring" (as she recognized the language used as what was used with her in her conversations with these people) and once again decided that she wanted to cancel and wanted her money back. So this time I called them with her on three-way calling so that I could support her and back her up. The first person who answered the call was a pleasant woman who said she made a note that my mom wished to cancel the contract but then insisted that she would need to speak with a "resolution specialist" in order to complete the cancellation and that this "resolution specialist" would call her back in 30 minutes. I said that this was not acceptable, as I needed to be on the call with her and that we would need to be transferred immediately. She proceeded to tell me that there was no one available at that time but I continued to insist she find someone and that we would stay on the line until she did. Interestingly enough, after putting us on hold for a few minutes, she happened to find the same "resolution specialist", Kenyan, that my mom had spoken with before. Once we were transferred to Kenyan, all pretenses of politeness (on the company's part, not ours) pretty much went down the drain. Kenyan first asked my mom if I was "authorized" to be on the call and after she said I was he went on to say that I was being very negative and that the whole situation was none of my business. I told him I was not interested in his sales pitch and that all I needed to hear from him was that he intended to return my mother's money. He then began to literally yell at me. I was a little shocked. He said I didn't care about my mom. I handed the phone to my husband who was polite but firm with Kenyan and told him essentially the same things I had and Kenyan then called my husband a "jack-off", among other insults, like saying my husband just wanted my mother's money and that he was probably some poor part-time working schlub (which he is not) who just wanted to take advantage of his mother-in-law. It was, quite frankly, amazing to hear the way this man behaved. If my mom had any doubts about the legitimacy of this company before, this man's behavior cemented what we were trying to tell her all along. This company is a scam, set up for the SOLE PURPOSE of taking a person's money. As much of it as they can get.
Oddly enough, after Kenyan had finished yelling at us and insulting us, he proceeded to tell my mom he was hanging up and that he would call her back so that we could not be on the line with her. He hung up and called my mom back later. Luckily she stuck to her guns and told hims he still wanted to cancel and he accepted this.
The following day my mom called again to make sure they would send her a check for a full refund and they said it would be delivered in 48 to 72 hours.
Amazingly enough, she received this refund. I believe it was because she was within her 72 hour cancellation period and that they must actually honor this part of their contract. Of course, I feel that if I had not intervened and put up a fight, she never would have gotten that refund and that they would have continued to give her the run-around.
If you or someone you know has given these people money, don't give up the fight. Call them and continue to call them. Don't let them tell you they'll have someone call you back. Fight back. Don't call names or stoop to their level but don't let them bully you either. I think the only training these people provide is to their "resolution specialists" on how to bully people and name-call.

If you came to the Complaints Board site after checking out these fraudsters with the BBB, consider yourself a victim. Do not procrastinate. If you are in the three day withdrawal period as stated on the contract, act immediately! Inform your credit card company to block payment and issue a new one, do this to avoid any further charges this company may infer on you (even sometimes without authorization). Ask for a fax number from your ICI contact person (usually they will not comply, giving you the runaround trying to keep you in the program). Also send a email to; CLIENTSERVICES@ICISUCESS.COM asking for a fax number to make a signed withdrawal request. If you get a return receipt that no such IP address exists keep that receipt and print it off. It will be needed later to prove you made an attempt opt-out in the three days allowed by Federal Law. Can you imagine a business with no fax machine? I KNOW BECAUSE I DEALT WITH THESE ### ! Until now the most success with refunds, is when a customer refuses to take part in their dirty scheme. Our concern is victims that were coerced into the program and were bilked for thousands more, these people are no less violated than we who never accepted that rubbish.

sad to say that I'm in the same position now. I haven't actually started with the coaching itself and I want to cancel considering the complaints that I read over the internet and I don't have the time to do it right now. They said that I can no longer cancel since I'm past the 3 day cancellation and I would lose the money. I'm very confused right now what to do and if it's the right thing to do to contact my bank and dispute the charges.

Fortune Learning Systems Failure to follow through on agreement

I was contacted by Fortune Learning Systems and they told me they would help me set up multiple websites and I would be able to recoup my investment of 6, 000.00 in six months or they would continue working with me until I did. I had seven coaching sessions of 45 minutes and I had one more but the coach never called me. He would not answer my e-mails or my phone calls. I was told he had marked my case completed, although I had not made any money.
I have contacted this company many times to request my coach call me and they say they will but when I call back they say that was not on his schedule.

My agreement says they will continue to work with me through unlimited e-mail to get my money back and they are not doing it. To date I have not made one penny with this website. I did everything they told me to do, but they only want you to set up the website that they want and not what you want.

Don't listen to all the hype they give you about you can pay off your credit cards and be financially independent. You can't voice your opinion to them about things they have said because they get mad and won't help you as per the agreement.

I too was scammed by My Essential Plans, The Tax Club, All Access Books, Ikongo and Go Go Dropshippers. I am currently working with the fraud department of Capital One/Master Card. Because my Discover card was a balance transfer of charges by the aforementioned companies they are unable to do anything. I was advised to have Capital One remove the charges and refund the money to me and forward the money to Discover to pay that card off.
The problem is that these fast talking bullies did amlost EVERYTHING over the phone. They keep you on the phone while you sign the contracts, not allowing you time to read anything! They are very aggressive and tell you that you are wasting time and that you are holding everything up.
After the initial charge you are unindated with phone calls demanding more money to start your business. You have no choice. They tell you that you were misinformed about the total cost. The start up cost didn't include tax preperations, bookkeeping, business cards, products, etc.
They tell you it will take 4-6 weeks to obtain an EIN # (which they have already assigned). In the meantime they insist you set up your business with The Tax Club, Ikongo, All Access Books, etc.
They will max out your credit card, insist you get another one and do a balance transfer, max that one out and insist you give them your banking info or refinance your house.
After maxing out 2 credit cards to the tune of over $20, 000 (and still NOT receiving anything) I received a phone call from a man named Davil Hall (from My Essential Plans). He insisted that I give him my banking info. When I refused he suggested I refinance my house. This time when I refused he laughed at me and hung up! It was then that I knew I got scammed.
I googled: Has anyone else been scammed by: My Essential Plans, The Tax Club. Ikongo, All Access Books and Go Go Dropshippers. What came up nearly gave me a heart attack...
A man named Sam Anzaroot from The Tax Club called me the day after I paid My Essential Plans over $10, 000. This was supposed to be the total amout to start this on line business. Sam Anzaroot informed me that HE works for the Tax Club and that My Essential Plans work for him. He appologized for the mistake, but insisted I needed his company to do all the taxes, etc. Without his company I would definately fail and I've already invested so much money into this venture.
And so my nigtmare began. I was bombarded with calls (usually different people every time) demanding money for other things I would need to be successful.
Throught this time I received nothing. Except a bogus e-library from My Essential Plans showing me how to buy and sell on ebay!
When I told them that is NOT WHAT I PAID FOR, they simply told me that they want me to practice sellling on line! A ### can sell or buy on ebay. I'm not very good on the computer, but even I knew how to do that and have in the past. I was assured that it is just part of the learning process and standard procedure. A learning coach would call once a week to make sure I was reading it. What a joke.
All these companies have a cancellation date that is so short that by the time you realize you've been scammed it is not only past the date, but they have your signature. That is the proof they send to the fraud department of my credit card company.
I am left to prove that I've been scammed. The problem is that they want written proof. These companies are slick enough to do everything over the phone.
I continue to send all email complaints ( like this site) as proof to Capital One. I only hope they can see these scam artists for what they are worth.
There is a group of us (people who they scammed) forming (or trying to) a plan to not only resolve this problem, but to also expose each and everyone of these thieves.
They must be stopped. And, by the way I left out the fact that they PROMISE you will make back all of your start up costs within 3 months. That is another way they get you. But you must work with every company I mentioned. It has been it has been almost 5 months and I still haven't received ANYTHING.

I am yet another one who was taken by there sales pitch, told the same thing how I had to act fast to be in an elite position. How I would be financially set and they would help me as long as it took for me to make my money back. I lost $5000.00 and was told I would make back the money I had invested plus more. I did have 8 or 9 coaching sessions. Website has been built, I was to have a coaching session today which did not happen, For the last few days I have been trying to work on my website and have been unable to because there website has been removed, all the phone #, s and email addresses have all been disabled. Now I have a website that I can not fix up because FLS Builder is a scam. Along with FLS and IVY Capital. How do I get through to someone and demand my money back? No phone # no emails I've been scammed.

hi, i'm one of the people who fell for this scam. i was given all the sales pitch that was apparently given to everybody. i paid $6, 245 for a six-month period with 8 coaching sessions; the first session didn't even happen until a week later.

i decided to withdraw my enrollment after the first session but my main contact kept insisting that i go ahead with it. my boyfriend told me to google the company and that's how i found this site. is there anyone out there who is willing to expose this company?

It's simple to get your money back if you can stand up to these [censor], but be forewarned they check this site, and have ambulance chasers call and send certified letters to you. I was able to help a friend of mine recover their lost money (16000.00+), but it takes a big commitment to get it from all of these phony companies. In my state it is legal to record a conversation as long as one party on the call is aware (me or you not them). Send us a message if you need or want the help...
