Do not buy from Kendra Richard!

Heartless dog breeder in it just for the money… I thought we had found a great breeder to add a new addition to our home but we were wrong… My fiancé, and I had put a deposit down three months ago for a litter that just arrived few weeks ago. However, I was just informed today that I no longer have a dog. This was extremely upsetting news to my fiancé and I as we have been looking forward to this puppy for months now and being told that we did not meet our contractual agreement just because I did not reply to a text within her timeline. Nothing of which was discussed in a contract that said if I didn’t text back, she would give away our dog, even though we had already made arrangements for pick up and she had received the deposits months ago. It’s truly unfortunate that people like this don’t understand the impact that their actions have. Absolutely no empathy or understanding on her behalf will not take responsibility for her actions at all. Long story short, if you’d like to give someone your money months in advance, and have absolutely no control whether or not you receive a dog or not. Never see the dog in person and be told that their young daughter will be delivering the puppies on the day of pick up (meet in a parking lot… and exchange cash) and that she may or may not be there, is very skeptical to say the least. I also want to inform people of the conditions of these dogs are living. These dogs are not being raise like family members their home, raising a puppy mill style setting with absolutely no grass or free range for these animals. They are kenneled and have a small shelter area outside. Just like many others have said all she do is blame you and then try to cut down who you are as a human being… truly just sad…

I would prior to because she will not send you pictures of her facility nor will she ever let you come to meet her or the animals. Do not give Kendra your money so she can quit bringing these puppies… you also might want to be informed that her daughter also does breeding, so don’t get scammed into using her either.

Forever labrador and goldens/Kendra is refusing (once again it seems) to give me back our deposit for a labrador retriever that was suppose to be due in late Sep./Oct and is now who knows when because as of Sat. July 11th the dog is still not bred. When I told her that I wanted my money back on Sat. bc we no longer want to wait and also financial and personal reasons going on(which are none of her business and shouldn't of had to tell her) she said NO because I said it was OK in June when she notified me of this. I just find it hard to believe that she can ethically do this. I know this says A LOT about her personally and how she can keep my money when the contract was broken by her and the dates she gave us. This just shows she is in a money hungry business. I will NEVER use her services again and will warn others who are looking for a lab puppy to stay clear!

Breeder accepted a $150 deposit on a labrador retriever puppy in August for a litter to be ready for delivery mid November. When the color we wanted was not available, tried to sell us a non AKC regulation color animal for an additional $200 above the agreed to price. When we indicated we were not willing to pay more for what is considered a dog with a breed defect, our character was lambasted and our request for return of our deposit denied. I have emails from the breeder to confirm all of this. I should have known something was amiss when the only address of this business is a city location, and the breeder never offered her last name. First name is Kendra. We would like our deposit returned, or the follow through of a puppy with a legitimate AKC accepted color (pet quality is fine), at the agreed to price of $600. So far my requests for either resolution have been met with tirades against my intelligence and character. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
