Ford should be jailed for this scam esp extended warranty. I bought a brand new 2008 f - 150 during that year. At the time, I told the salesmen I intended to keep this truck a long time. He talked me into the esp and maintenance package and rust proofing and all along assured me that for 5 years, the only thing out of my pocket would be the monthly payment and gas. I have gotten my truck serviced every 8000 at the dealer. My truck now has 67000km on it and last week, the steering shaft broke on it. Apparently a full sized pickup designed for offroad capabilities can't handle round town regular driving. To my surprise, the dealer told me I would have to pay $600 to get my truck back and that my part wasnt covered under esp. I looked at my brochure which clearly states steering linkages are covered, but still they wouldnt cover it. This is fraudulent. I gave them $2000 for a useless extended warranty and am still paying for repairs. How can they get away with this. Since last week, I have heard so many similar stories from others. It's all bad enough that these trucks are having such major issues with so few kms. One guy sitting next to me at work had his tranny go at 64000 and another had his engine go at 67000. Those guys were lucky to be covered under drivetrain, but still had a runaround to get repairs. Fords are literally disposable trucks sold cheap with the intent that the buyer will always buy a new one every 3 years. Dont even get me started on the resale value on the [censor] thing, after last week, I put it up for sale for less than book value and I have not so much as had a nudge. I will never buy a pos ford again. And I will be sure to tell all friends, coworkers and family to never buy one.

If you own a 2001/2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac you should have someone check your cab mount bushings. I found mine to be rotting/falling apart and 1 has dissapeared altogether. The rubber they used is just falling apart, crumbles like cork. Ford is unwilling to acknowledge any widespread problem. To have them replaced is about $1000.00.
I have filled an investigation request form with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration concerning this issue on their Vehicle Safety Hotline. Hope it will get noticed...

I bought a 2009 Ford Flex in 2010. Shortly after I received a letter about buying an extended warranty for it. I called the 800 number and was told it would be good for 100, 000 miles or four more years. Well neither one came about. I HAD TO REPLACE THE REAR BRAKES AND CALIPERS ON IT. I had it done near home were the car stopped. Not wanting to further ruin anything I had it fixed not by a Ford dealer but a garage at home.

I called the 800 number an they said to have a Ford dealer call them about what happened. In doing so I found out the warranty that was suppose to last for 100, 000 miles or four years would expire July 2013. I in turn called the 800 number only to find out the extended warranty started when the car was still being manufactured in 2008 Not from the date I bought the policy.

I RECEIVED NOTHING IN THE MAIL ABOUT WERE TO TAKE THE CAR OR WHAT WAS COVERED.

I feel they stole the money and ripped off me in mileage or years not yet here. At this time I, ve got a little over 58, 000 miles a far cry fro 100’000 or four years that was suppose to be. since then I canceled the warranty . They were suppose to send a refund which I haven’t received as of yet.

I didn’t even know it was canceled until today when I visited the Ford dealer and they told me . Nothing in the mail about being canceled. I’m retired an on a fixed income. So I need every cent an don’t need to worry about car problems.

I was "approved" for $100, 000 loan, which I was going to use for the purchase toward a home. I was told that I had to send 12 months security deposit of $13, 454.80. I was unable to come up with this amount so I called "James "JIM" Adams" the agent I was working with at extention 520, and was told that the interest rate would be increased half percent and I would only have to send $8, 091.00

I almost wired that money today...thank GOD I found this website. I too didn't find anythin under the better business bureau on this company.

Something needs to get done about people preying on those down on their luck in this recession.

I have a 2008 Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCi, great little car EXCEPT for the after sales service and a few issues.

The car's FACTORY FITTED bluetooth stopped working when it was returned from its first service. Everytime the car has been back to Ford, it came back as is...BROKEN. The radio was sent to JHB for a month, only for the mac to tell me it was not faulty - obviously took what he thought to be the easy way out. Now, its a year later, I still have no bluetooth and best of all, the car has an extended warranty and a 5yr100000KM motorplan (bumper to bumper cover apparently).

Ford has tried to wiggle their way out of responsibility by not returning calls or emails. I am disgusted to say the least. I had to fork out R17'000 extra on the car for bluetooth and a motorplan and both provide BUGGERAL extra value.

Traded a 2010 Ford F150 P/U truck on Memorial Day weekend 2013
The dealership said it would be aprox 4-6 wks to receive rebate on the Extended service plan that I purchased at the time of the sale.
The Ford/Lincoln Dealer dealership:Best Ford Located in Nashua NH has misled me and has been quite unhelpful and deceptive in dealing with the author of this complaint...
An otherwise positive buying experiance has been degraded to a poor service experiance from the dealership...shame on Ford Motor Company.

On a recent cross country trip I stopped at the Ford dealership I bought my 1996 F-150 4X4 from, because the speed control on my truck wasn't working. I found out that there was a SAFETY recall on the wiring and switch that connects to the brake master cylinder, this switch tends to leak causing a possible FIRE! The tech's at the dealership told me that my truck was the worst case they had seen and I was lucky that my truck didn't catch fire! Because of this DEFECT there was subsidiary damage to the speed control SERVO and the wiring harness connected to it, they both were burnt badly!
The dealership told me that ford should cover this damage because the wiring that was on the recall caused the subsequent damage! Needless to say, when the dealership called FORD, they refused to cover the additional damage, the SERVO was $800 I found one at a wrecker for $75 and the wiring harness was $150 plus $150 labor to install! The dealership gave me a break on the parts and labour, my bill was $254.31 I am concerned about the used Servo, I think FORD should replace it and re-imburse me for my other expenses totalling $329.31 Ford's excuse was that the recall has been out for a few years and that the RECALL notice was mailed out, so the repairs were not done in a reasonable time! I had moved 2 times and the truck wasn't registered for a few years, apparently FORD is punishing me for moving!

I am not very happy with FORD and will NOT recommend a FORD product to anyone!

The affected vehicles are- [protected] Ford F-150, Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator and Ford Bronco vehicles to correct a systems interaction that could cause the speed control deactivation switch to overheat and lead to an underhood fire. Ford estimates that there are approximately 3.8 million of these vehicles on the road today in the U.S.

Hi - We were driving to Noida in our Ford Fiesta this Sunday On July 15 when the car abruptly came to a halt and the next thing we knew - there was a loud explosion and the entire car bonnet was on fire. And by fire I mean the entire front of the car was engulfed in flames at least 8 feet high. Even as me and my husband pulled out my 5 year old son from the burning car, we realized that the entire road jam packed with cars was at risk in case there was any explosion. Thankfully, the fire did not spread beyond the bonnet and nobody got hurt but it took the better part of the next hour to fully extinguish the car using armfuls of mud. I really thought it was a one off incident but when I checked the internet, these cars are going off like bombs.

Bought a Ford Fusion 2010 Hybrid, expensive car. When I first bought it, I made 8 trips to the dealer because they scratched the roof and side panel when they were cleaning it and putting on the special coating (extra $), the service man's belt buckle must have scratched it. The cowl on the windshield was defective, the rubber door molding was replaced because water came in through the window. The dashboard was stained when they put on the extra protective coating, 2 years to get it to the same color. I have NOW asked that they fix the steering wheel because the "SURFACE LAYER IS PEELING OFF" where I do not even put my hands. The DEALER and the REGIONAL FORD MANAGER said they can do nothing for me, it is considered trim - even though I bought their expensive bumper to bumper policy for 6 years or 100, 000 miles. I was even looking at another Ford 1 month ago for my wife but have changed my mind. I went to the dealer 1 week ago to have a light replaced and have pictures taken of the steering wheel, they forgot to change the light, I even told the service man I was stopped by a police officer - TERRIBLE SERVICE - AND I travel 50 minutes each way to get there. GOODBYE FORD.

Second time had problem with key getting stuck not ingaging(could not turn key to start engine) on my 2001 focus ford car. Had to have it moved to a garage to be worked on, found that the pass key anti theft went bad again. Do not know my cost as of yet, but has there been a recall on this problems as I have talked to sereval people who had to actually beat on the key to get it to work. Very disappointed can anyone help with this.

I recently went to a Ford dealership to get my car fixed, and they gave me a runaround like no one has ever done before. They quoted me 3 different prices by 3 different salesmen and then ended up charging me even more than that at the end. Also, it took them 5 days to finish the repair on something that seemed relatively minor. 6 months later, what they had supposedly fixed was broken again. I went back to the Ford dealership and they told me that the warranty I had supposed purchased did not cover labor, only parts. What is the point of that warranty.

I will never again buy a Ford. I purchased a 2014 Ford Fusion and in the first 2 years have taken it in over 5 times under is initial warranty which they've somehow managed to always state "nothing is wrong" with the vehicle. EVERYTHING is wrong with the vehicle! It blows out white smoke from the exhaust, the coolant was completely empty yet they stated it doesn't have a leak, my trunk opens and the seats move by themselves WHILE the vehicle is off! the car shakes on idle. mind you every time I've taken the vehicle in to be checked it is returned damaged... I changed a tire they didn't tighten the lug nuts! I didn't notice until my car shook uncontrollably on the expressway, they bent my grill while running the pressure test for the coolant leak, and ruined my subwoofer connection as well messing with the wires. My warranty is about to expire and I would NOT purchase extended warranty even though the car is a ticking time bomb. FORD IS GARBAGE and I should've listened to the hundreds that warned me throughout my life. It's getting traded in even if I lose thousands. JUST GARBAGE!

My complaint is a little different, in that I have had a reasonably ok experience with the ESP and maintainance package, my complaint is about the "start" and "end" Dates of the contract.
I purchased a 2011 Expedition on 6/27/2012 and purchased an extended just recently was looking at my contract for what was covered etc., when I notice ice that the start date and the purchase date were different, the purchase date was the date I signed the contract 6/27/2012, but the start date was 6/21/2011 almost a year after the purchase.
When I read section D of the contract it reads, this coverage starts on the date sign and the mileage noted which was 14983miles .the coverage is for 72 months and 100000 miles but the expiration date is 6/27/2017 a full year earlier than 72 months from 6/27/2012.when I called Ford I got nothing but I understand sir but the coverage started when the vehicle went into service on 6/21/2011, which means I paid for coverage while someone else owned the car, spoke with 2 different reps and was offered a 3rd with no resolve, it's like buying life insurance after you are dead, I will be speaking to an attorney this week will keep everything posted signed frustrated and ripped.

Redford financial group called us saying that we were approved for a home loan of $75000, which at the time we had been looking for. James Adams our account representive told us we just needed to send$2590 to Frank Zeller in Ontario Cananda and the funds would be put into our account via direct deposit. The next morning Robert Rhodes contacted us saying we needed to send and additional $2590. We told him to send back our money. He said they would put it in our account on July 12, 2009. Now the website for the company is gone and the phone number had been changed. They have my drivers license, social security card and bank account information. Please do not send money to anyone no matter what they promise you. How did they find my family?

The company claimed if I sent them 800.00 dollars I would get a $5000.00 loan so I did. Then they said I needed to send another $800.00 to secure it and I did. Then they said the investor backed out. Stupid me. I am suppose to get my money back on July 9th. I am sure that is bull, I have contacted moneygram and they said they could identify the person who picked it up. So, if no money hopefully legal action because they not only took from me but my three month old daughter as well.

I too was a victim, even with all the smarts and education, I still sent almost 1500 dollars to this so called Redford Finanacial Group.I was also told that I would get a refund in 30 days.Whoever these people may be, they need to be stopped today. I have children of my own that I have to support and with this scam going on I have now been put into a financial hole. What do I do now? Where do I turn now? I wish I had look more into it before sending my money off.Now all I can do is pray this cycle ends.

Got a phone call from a man claiming he was from the Redford Financial Group and that I had filled out a loan application with one of their affiliates. His name was Michael Foster and his phone number was [protected] ext 472. He claimed that they would work on my loan process to get it approved within the next day. Michael called back the next telling me that my loan was approved, but, due to my past credit history, I would have to secure the loan with a downpayment which would cover the first 8 months. THe cost would be $2000. When I did not have that money, he said he would have to consult with his boss. The Robert called me saying he is the loan manageer and will be taking care of my file. He claimed that $1200 dollars will work. So the same day I went down to Walmart and sent a MoneyGram to the investor/bank in Alberta Calgary with the receiver name of Jane Barrett. Once Mike got the confirmation, he mentioned my loan will be funded in 3 days. Couple days later, he called back stating that the Bank need more of a down payment to secure the laon, so he need another $500. I told that there was no way that I can come up with the money. So I requested a refund of the money and fees. Robert mentioned that he will refund the money on July 15, 2009. The day came and went with no money. When I tried to called back, the phone number was not working. When I tried to fax a compaint to them, their fax number was not working either. These ### just took my money without regards to my family and the food I had to purchase wifor my kids and a the new roof for my house. I NEED money back!

I was called by Ms. Tammy Fry and was told that i was approved for my loan. All I need to do was make a secrity deposit of four months payment of eight hundred dollars. I did so and she had the inofrmation and I was told that it would take up to twenty four hours and the money would be in my account. On the day the money was supposed to be deposited i was contacted by Customer service. I did so they informed me that the lender back out on the loan and this never happens they dont know why this happened to me. They then told me that they were going to give me a loan for more money than I wanted and I had to come up with eight hundred more dollars. I then told them that I wanted my money back and I did not want the loan any more. They informed me that i would have to wait till July 12 when they cut checks and return my money. I have yet to see my 1600 dollars. When I try to call it tells me good bye and hangs up on me.

Anyone who has had a positive experience, has not had a problem getting something fixed under warranty. I too would be positive right now if they had fixed the problem.

1. 2011 Explorer taken to Keystone Ford, PA for an oil problem and navigation problem, wrong street, wrong direction, driving through the field next to the road. Fixed the oil problem and said they looked at the nav sys as a courtesy, I didn't need their courtesy it was covered under the extended warranty.

2. Back for the Nav sys same problem and told them from the beginning it was intermittent. They replaced the map chip and checked the system because the updated the sync on the first visit. Billed almost $300 $149 map chip and $140 to plug it in, software is not covered. I told them I didn't need new maps it was getting lost on the old maps. I was right.

3. Back again, they wanted to clear the system and reinstall, no charge no paperwork.

4. Back again, they ordered a GPS module, installed it and handed me a bill for $85 for the part, they said it would be cheaper than paying another deductible. I said I paid the deductible back in Nov. This all took place between Nov and Mar 2015.

I called the GM of Keystone, Customer Service, Regional Managers, then I found emails for Corp. on the internet. Within two days I received a phone call. Now it took two email too and two phone calls from Corp for it to sink in, but this is what they told me, the dealer could have charged me $100 deductible every time I took it in for repairs and the dealer doesn't have to fix it. They didn't mine, I think it is better but there is still the same problem sometimes no street listed. That's just wrong. I guess my thinking comes from to many years of working with local shops, if they didn't fix something they made it right.

I don't see how this wouldn't be covered even without an ESP. You just had the PMI done so obviously the mechanic didn't fill the transmission to the proper level. Unless you have a huge leak that should have been noticeable at the PMI, there is only one way that they should decide. Let us know how things work out.

I guess I will soon find out if I will be a satisfied or unsatisfied ESP customer. My 2012 Explorer broke down on me in Iowa, 290 miles from home. It being late Saturday evening the dealership had closed for the weekend. Out of the five car rental agencies I called none was able to provide me with a car. I spent the night at the Holiday Inn Express and took Amtrak home the next day. When checking on my vehicle that Monday I was informed that my transmission had sustained extensive damage due to its fluid level being four quarts low. Well, how could that be? Only, nine days prior to the brake down, my vehicle received a major PMI during which time the transmission was changed. This occurred at my local dealership. Who is at fault? Its been ten days now and they are still waiting on a Ford representative to a inspect the transmission and approve cost. I'm hoping to walk/drive away as a satisfied customer. At this point I must remain neutral.

I have read all of the reasons why an extended warranty is not a good investment, but when I bought my 2010 Ford Expedition Limited new in 2009, I felt that $1, 165 for a 6 year, 75, 000 (ZERO deductible) ESP warranty was a good investment considering the vehicle is loaded and was $48, 500. I still have 8 months left on the warranty and it has more than paid for itself already. The first repair under the extended warranty was the passenger side heated seat that quit working. Note that repair costs are not on the repair invoice given to me after the repair. The total cost always shows ($ 0 ). Quite by accident because they screwed up, I found out the heated seat repair was $600+. The next repair under the ESP was the passenger side power window regulator (typically $250-$300). The next repair was an A/C "O" ring and 2 A/C hoses. I'm guessing that along with a recharge ($200) would be a total of about $700-$800. Next up is the driver side window regulator ($250-$300). This past week I found out I need another A/C hose (on order). Not as involved as the previous A/C repair so I'll guess in the $350 range plus the $200 recharge. The bottom line is that an $1, 165 warranty saved me over $1, 300 in repairs ($2, 500) with 8 months still to go. The experts can say all they want about extended warranties being a bad investment but I will never own another vehicle with out one.

I've had an engine replaced (not rebuilt - a brand new crate engine) in a 2010 Ford Expedition because of a spark plug issue (this was a recall on the truck). My cost for this? $100. I had my 5.4 V8 triton blow a plug (not torqued properly as others were off) but this F350 was only dealer serviced. They did not do a coil, they replaced the engine. Again, my cost $100. Life happens, any warranty is only good when you go to use it, just like auto insurance. Most cases that call this a 'scam' probably don't have their facts straight. Sometimes misuse can cause a part to fail, that is clearly out of the warranty. Keep your car maintained, keep the records and you'll be in good shape. If you want the risk of paying for repairs then go for it, I find value in paying upfront for coverage.

The warranty is a sham. My 2011 F150 starts having issues, feels like transmission or plugs but I can't tell. When I request to take it in and a loner vehicle they tell me that if its not covered it would be my responsibility to pay for rental. When asked how would you know, they tell me I just have to risk it. Come to find, I know shocker, its not covered. Cracked sparkplugs and bad coils are out of scope of the warranty. Now I not only have to foot the bill of the plug/coil replacement, I have to pay for rental. Can't believe I fell for their marketing. Worst investment I have ever made!

I was considering the purchase of the Ford PremiunCare program but after reading all the complaints about the program I have decided to take my chances and hopefully nothing will go wrong until after I trade it in. Thanks everyone for the headsup. The only reason I stick with Ford is because they did not take the bailout proposed by Obama and all the recalls the GM products have had.

I 100% agree with the complaintants disgust with Ford.

Bought a "USED" 2009 F150 from HUB City in Crestview FL on 20 April 2010 with 11, 356 miles on it. When the sales team broached the subject of purchasing the $2170.00 (actually $2300.20 w/tax) Extended Service Plan (ESP) I initially turned it down but then changed my mind when the HUB CITY FORD CROOKS assured me the ESP investment would "cover my vehicle for 60 months or 100, 000..." The HUB CITY FORD CROOKS led me to believe the "60 months or 100, 000 miles..." ESP coverage would begin upon my 20 APRIL 2010 "Signature Date" on the FORD ESP-8240 form pre-filled in by the HUB CITY FORD CROOKS Finance Dept.

The CROOKS of HUB CITY FORD in my opinion, intentionally left blank the "Warranty Start Date" section of the ESP-8240 form along with Sections B "Type of New Plan" and deliberately focused my attention to Section D "Cover Term and Cost" which stated I was purchasing 60 months or 100K mile coverage and after I signed the document then took my paperwork and "hand wrote" without my knowledge the "in service aka; Warranty Start Date" of 9 April 2009 which effectively made me loose 12 months of coverage.

I have argued with the HUB CITY FORD CROOKS as well as with FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE via CAS# 5720789 & 5741288 the information entered into Ford Extended Service Plan System via UNETHICAL HUB CITY FORD staffing needs to be changed providing me "true" 60-month ESP coverage as that is what I was sold. Apparently FORD and their respective Independent Ford Dealership (in my case CROOKED HUB CITY FORD) has gotten pretty good at using circular logic and various work symantics to coax unsuspecting consumers into purchasing their ESP plans WITHOUT FULLY DISCLOSING THE ENTIRE FACTS, TERMS, & CONDITIONS of the FORD ESP.

The CROOKS OF HUB CITY FORD have severaly tarnished the Ford brand name and never again shall I purchase a Ford product. As other commentors have stated, I'll be sure to tell and my family and friends to avoid Ford as well.

I have had totally positive results with my ESP premium care, my 2011 F-350 has had a few issues that would have cost me thousands of dollars, I'm very happy I purchased my 3100.00 plan, my out of pocket deductibles have been 300, repairs would have been well over 7000 dollars, so, I'm glad I had it. It paid for itself in my case. If you get a diesel truck, buy the plan.

I bought a used scion TC from a lincoln dealer in syracuse, NY. The guy talked me into buying the Ford Lincoln extended service plan. What a crock and waste of money! I tried using the warranty recently for my front brake calipers seizing up and all though the brochure says they are covered, the company denied me saying in the fine print under section 7 it says if its due to corrosion, they wont cover it! That when the brake pads have been replaced, the pins haven't been greased which causes rust! WTF!? I haven't even had it a whole year, so it was corroded when I got it, that's my fault? Good job with all the loopholes and fine print Ford Lincoln warranty scammers! I also wouldn't recommend buying from Lincoln in syracuse either!

I bought a 2009 Ford Mustang GT in April 2014 at Bill Kay Ford. They sold me a ESP Service contract for $1550.00 and a Gap insurance for $700.00. We traded the car in for a new car in September 2014.
Total cost of $2250.00
I cancelled everything after only 5 months and I am only getting a refund of $808.00 for ESP and 596.00 from gap which I am still waiting to receive. All funds were sent back to the dealer on October 17th 2014 but they are still waiting to send it out to me.

HERES AN UPDATED PROBLEM WITH FORD'S ESP. I BOUGHT A 2007 SHELBY GT500 WITH 64000 + OR - BACK IN AUGUST. PURCHASED A FORD ESP WITH A MAINTENANCE SERVICE PACKAGE 3YR OR 48000 MILES. COST ME BACK $1965. HAD VEHICLE SAFETY INSPECTION PERFORMED (PASS WITH FLYING COLORS) WITH DOCUMENT PROVIDED BY SELLING ESP DEALER, FAXED IN ALL DOCUMENTS AND 4 DAYS LATER, GOT OUR ESP SERVICE CONTRACT. UNFORTUNATELY 2 WEEKS AFTER ESP WAS APPROVED, MY 2ND GEAR SYNCRO WENT BAD. BROUGHT TO FORD FOR REPAIRS. AFTER 2 WEEKS OF WAITING, FORD ADVISED ME THE MY ESP DECLINED MY REPAIRS. THEY SAID THAT I ONLY PUT ABOUT 500 MILES BEFORE IT WENT BAD AND AGREED IT WAS EXISTING PROBLEM. WOULDNT YOU THINK THAT WOULDVE BEEN NOTED DURING THE SAFETY INSPECTION. NOTE TO FORD ESP...WE PURCHASE ESP FOR THE PEACE OF MIND AND THE UNEXPECTED REPAIRS YOU CROOKS... AND NOW THEIR TELLING ME ITS THE DEALER THAT SOLD ME THE ESP IS AT FAULT NOW...DATES WRONG...THIS AND THAT...HAY PENCIL PUSHERS...HONOR WHAT YOUR GUYS PREECH...

purchased a used 2009 ford truck from local dealer in 2012 had 41k miles on it now has 46k on it. Bought the premeire warranty. A month ago heard a ticking noise under hood and took it to dealer within an hour. They told me they would diagnose problem for 100.00 and then to tear into motor would cost 1400.00 if the problems are not covered under warranty it would be my costs. Two weeks later they called to tell me that my oil filter that they had installed came apart and blocked an orifice feeding oil to my motor causing problem. In their warranty a part that is not covered causes a problem with a part that is covered they dont have to honor warranty. So a part that they installed caused my problem and they dont have to honor warranty. Is this the most insane thing you ever heard of? Ford warranties are a joke. Dont buy a Ford warranty, better yet DONT BUY A FORD!

Ford / ESP is a joke ! My 2008 F 350 Diesel has blown it's second Hi Pressure Pump. They declined the claim saying that the fuel was contaminated with water. $6, 000.00 later I have to go buy some Diesel fuel, anyone know where you can buy Diesel fuel with no water in it? I didn't think so. Oh wait a minute, there is a water separator system engineered for our Diesel Trucks.
Then why did water get to parts that blow up if water gets in them?!
I wonder if Chevy or Dodge have the same ugly policies that are written in a way that the consumer can't win!
VERY UGLY FORD you win I thought I could trust you. I was wrong!

I, too agree that Ford ESP warranty is a scam! I went to the dealership two or three times about the same problem and the service department said Ford warranty would not fix the issue unless they could duplicate the problem. Amazingly, they couldn't.
Now, 12 days after the warranty has expires I am told tough luck even though it is previously documented.

After 6 Ford vehicles, I will never buy Ford again!

You people are all idiots! Learn to read what you are purchasing and then understand what is actually wrong with your vehicle before you start whining about what your "extended warranty" is covering!

I bought a used Volvo that was turned in on lease to a Ford dealer in E.Hartford, CT. I made the mistake of spending 1800 on an 100k mile ESP Premium warranty. Well just before the warranty was up every gasket in the engine blew and leaked at the same time. Took it to Volvo dealer (Gallow in Worcester MA - very good treatment there) but when they called about the warranty was told it didn't exist! Fortunately I had all the original paperwork so began my saga. It was actually in the system but was expired years ago. I think the dealer intentionally put it in wrong and pocketed the difference. Regardless it took me months to get it re-instated and it took me calling Ford ESP every two days for 6 weeks to get it re-instated and it was hell. Finally put in my claim and after all that they only paid about 80% of my claim with no explanation but they win..I just don't have it in me to fight for the 200 bucks. I will never buy a Ford or an extended warranty due to this experience. Sure maybe they make money screwing people in the short term but in the long term they loose business because people like me and anyone I can tell will never buy a Ford.

im dealing with a Ford ESP issue on my 6.0 powerstroke that is ridiculous. Truck has been at local dealer for 12 days they submitted to ESP for head gaskets (common problem) ESP denied claim for a TSB that states EGR Cooler caused head gaskets to blow. Wrong, Wrong I replaced my oil cooler and egr cooler 3 months ago as preventative maintenance truck was fine prior to that and fine after. i started loosing coolant 2 weeks ago hens the dealer visit. The TSB is a blanket statement giving them an out for all head gasket issues. I'm at a loss as to what to do next?
