I found a few changes on our debt card, one for $1.99 and another for $.99 from a website called WebDatasol.com. I called them and they said they're a third party billing company and that they're associated with fling.com and their sister site, meetlocals.com. I confirmed my husband's last 4 digits of his debt card and they told me what email was used to sign up, which was his and that he signed up on the same day he went out of town for work. He says it wasn't him that he'd never sign up for those types of things and that if he were the type of man to do that he'd never use our joint account. We have had trust issues in our past, so I don't know what to think. Has anyone ever had this issue? What has me confused is what the hell are the $1.99 and $.99 charges for? I signed up for the sites just to see if it charged me anything or asked for card # and nothing there for $1.99 or $.99 .

I was going to leave my fiancé recently because I noticed he had an account with fling.com. Profile and everything. He swore he never created it. I decided, not sure why, but I decided to log in with my email. To my surprise it claimed I had an account with them as well. I did a password recovery because of course I have no idea what the password was since I never actually created this account. I got the password recovery and was able to log in. There was a user name w/ a joined date of sept. 7, 2014. I definitely never created this. I guess I owe my fiancée an apology.

All lies! My husband says he was set up by fling! I signed in under his email and normal password! It had his location wrong (he travels quite a bit for work) and his birthdate was OUR ANNIVERSARY! Don't be blind! You're significant others have made these accounts! I consider, even visiting sites like this, cheating! I also feel like everyone on here saying they were set up are covering their own ###!

I just want to say something to the big guys of fling.com as well. Yesterday my wife looked at my emails also, considering fling.com sent me an email to an account I don't use saying I have set up an account, made a profile etc, this is complete utter crap. Now, I'm pissed off, my wife has basically blamed me of doing things like this behind her back also, she is convinced. So thanks alot fling.com, hope you reading this, there will be an email, and I will seek legal action also, because this is a totally data protection infringement. And I hope you know, you've my Christmas, and my whole family's.

This is a scam. Plain & simple.

Checking the spam box for my junk email today & I found numerous notifications of messages pending from a Fling.com profile registered to my email.

I am a 47 y/o woman but when I checked the website profile it said I was a 35 y/o man in a neighboring town. The user name on the profile was (as other comments have stated) part of my email addy with the addition of two random letters at the beginning. My junk email addy does not contain my real name.

The profile info also says I signed up for this service (which I have not) two days ago. I am the only person with access to my computer or email accounts.

After some searching for someway to delete the profile and not finding any I simply changed the email registered to the account to Iamnotarube@bigjoke.com. I suggest that others do the same after changing any other matching details within the faux profile. I considered complaining directly to CS but since the company in question is the one committing the fraud I figured there would be no point.

Interesting note- I left the profile up while checking to see if there were other complaints about Fling.com and the window with the profile page reverted to a sign up page within 5 minutes. This leads me to believe that Fling.com knows exactly what they are doing and this is not a case of mistyped email addresses, prank sign ups or cheating spouses (in the majority of incidents that is).

THIS IS A SCAM. If you are freaking out on your significant other- stop, take a breath, and direct your anger at scammer websites like Fling.com for pulling this crap.

My husband has Been caught within the last month and a half signing up for sex flirting/hookup sites. I confronted him when I saw the charge to our joint bank account...and then researched and found him on numerous other sites...with his picture and profile description ... whole nine yards. Confronted him again and he did admit to most of it. today I found fling.com in the email. he denies it. Now I believe him BUT it did use the same user id as he used on other sites and same birth year but dif day and month. Same city as we are in too...but he used that on the other sites as well. I was about to be done with him this time if it were true. no one deserves their spouse to do them this way but fling.com Isnt going to help anyone have anything other than trust issues

Something HAS to be done about this site and other's like it. It can ruin a person's relationship, break people's hearts and doubt the one's we love. My husband and I have been together since June of 2006 and I had actually caught him meeting various people of both genders for sex a year after we had gotten married. After he was busted, we both went to therapy and marriage therapy for over a year. I was thinking I had the perfect (or close to it), until I see welcome to fling in his e-mail. Of course I am going to doubt hi. Of course I am going to automatically lie to me. I think we all need to get a lawsuit and sue the hell out of this perverse site and other's like it. They ruin lives and they do it on purpose,

My now husband (just recently married) had been on sex dating websites in the past when we were dating and I would catch him by going into his email and find emails from the sites and from women, of course he would lie and say he didn't sign up and wasn't on them, but I know it was a lie and he finally admitted to me months back that he did do all of it. He has since turned his life around and deleted all accounts and supposedly isn't on them anymore and I haven't seen any evidence to suggest he is on them still. He still gets spam in his email all the time from sex dating sites and they go into his junk mail. Today I went into his junk email and there was a welcome email from fling.com that he got today at 10AM. I almost called him to flip out on him and then I searched and found this complaint board. Here's the thing, it used his email address and a weird long numbered and letters password combination that he would never use and never type in himself and it listed his location as living in some other city and state that isn't anywhere close to where we live. He is also at work and I know he was working when this email from fling came through at 10AM and he was not on the internet on his phone. He doesn't work in an office or anything, as he works outside, so he has no other internet access during the day other than his cell phone. I checked out our joint cell phone account and he wasn't using any data today on his phone either. He has no other phone either, he can't afford it. He physically couldn't have signed up on fling.com today for them to have sent a welcome email today. I also went onto fling.com myself and signed up with my email and my usual password and I got a welcome message right away in my email with my email and typical password, not some weird long numbered made up one. In other words, while he's been a lying SOB in the past with this sort of thing, there is absolutely no way he could have signed up today on a fling.com account like the email from fling says. All the evidence points to him actually being innocent this time and fling.com could have ruined my now good relationship/marriage and trust that he and I have built over time and are continuing to build. So in other words, if your significant other's email and a typical password is used chances are they probably signed up themselves, unless someone that they know has this information to sign them up.

It is very true! Fling.com made a fake profile of me w my email address and 4 numbers after the email address even had a password w it. . It is said " Welcome to Fling.com" I opened the mail up, having no clue was it was, it was wanting me to validate my email address. In which I never did. Ladies and men out there.. I know sometimes its hard to trust and ppl automatically think your guilty, well this is not always the case. I am innocent in this. I have NEVER had a adult dating site or even belonged to one. They need to be held accountable for this. I am sure it has and will do a lot of damage to truly innocent people.

Your spous could be innocent. .. sort of. Dating or smut sites sell your info to other dating sites. So at some point someone was being naughty somewhere in order for fling to have the info to create said fake profile. Black and white really.

Happened to me today. Faithfully married and would have a hard time explaining this one.
Worse than that is that I cant figure out how to navigate the site to cancel the supposed membership! I have asked for some assistance from the company and attached a link to this thread so they might be able to do something about it...judging by the content of the site it wouldn't surprise me if they hire spammers to do a little dirty work for them.

Exactly! My b/f was on all kinds of escort sites too and the evidence I found was texts and email conversations he forgot to delete. He got careless when I started going to school at night. Admitted he has been talking with escorts for years, including the whole time we have been together, then claims that fling.com made the profile for him even though I signed right in with his email and password! He says it must have auto signed him up when he signed up for some other site. Made a weird username, wrong bday. I know he was lying about backpage and others anyway, so I don't know or care if fling auto signed him up or not, but I am thinking your men were probably on other sites if they get stuff from fling. Also, don't be naive, there is Internet access on smart phones. I was with my b/f all the time too, we live together, but he does go to work, I do have girls night, I go shop, etc etc. he found time for years to talk to multiple hookers.

This is ridiculous! Are you trying to convince us or yourself! My husband of 10 years claimed the same thing. He is a liar and has been caught numerous times with escorts and text messages in his phone! He lives in Brookln NY but uses the name Kelvin as an alias! As a matter of fact the prostitute who was contacting him is on Fling.com and Backpage! She sent messages from [protected]. The ugly vile creatures pictures can be found all over the web. I got tested because I don't want Aids messing with this son of a [censored]! Divorce court is next. Hope he has the time of his life with this ugly vile disease carrying slut!

I just woke up to emails saying that I needed to confirm my accounts to fling.com and xxxblackbookdating.com or something like that...I have never done any type of Internet dating let alone fling.com or xxx sites...I can't figure out how this happened but the xxx site gave an IP address that showed where it was signed up
For...it wasn't my up address and when I did a search it came up as an IP address from witchita, Kansas off of a Verizon wireless network...I just immediately deleted my accts but it's concerning bc the passwords contained my last name.

I hope this helps you>>> my gf went through my emails one day and seen I had a fling account (which I knew nothing about) she logged in and seen that "the account has been temporarily suspended due to the amount of usage in such a short amount of time" (in other words spam) they used my same user name as my email but a diff password ...I'm sure if your bf at the time logged in to the fling account he wouldn't have much to say ...and seeing that he didn't try to dig deeper and was willing to throw away two years and a family so quickly brings me to think he was looking for any excuse to call it quits

So yesterday I was hanging with my boyfriend and he was looking up his schedule for his job, in his yahoo mail, when I noticed fling.com e-mails, he said it was spam, and first I was iffy about it, but it look so real, and I asked him if he made and account or subscribe to this website and he said no. He swore over his life and mine. Then I google information and find all this post and complaint that people sometimes have junk in their mail over fling.com even though they have never been to website. So I do believe my boyfriend when he said he hasnt made an account. My relationship has been crazy for a feew weeks just because I have trust issues because of my past, and it hurt my boyfriend being so negative all the time, and I am trying to change and make eveyrthing better, I don't think the stupid fling.com mails are helping my situation right now, but since some people in here are saying that they have never made an account and say that they get their information somehow, then I will believe my boyfriend saying that he has never been to this website or subscribed to it, Fling.com just creates problems in a relationship in my opinion, I need to start trusting my boyfriend because he is a good guy, and I never want to loose him, and if he sais he didnt make an account and never been to fling.com then I should believe him, especially if other people have been thorought the same situation.

This site is a scam. Dont ruin your relationship over it. Now if the person is paying for it and ads their picture then they are cheaters. Look and see if they have actually been interacting with other people on there and responding to messages before you go off half cocked. When I saw it I looked at the profile and it was fishy to me - none of the info was correct - no picture and no responses to any of the members from my guy. I asked him and he was shocked. Being that I can go into his email there was no way he would have had all this set up. LOL If he'd done it, it would have been a lot harder to find. Anyway - just don't be so jealous that you can't listen and look at all the facts before you lose someone over a crazy internet scam.

My wife and myself are going through similar thing. I got an email from the stating thank you for signing up your username is johndoe@example.com and your password is some off the wall password. She recently confronted me about this email after a month. I never signed up for it so of course I denied the allegation. Then that's when she tells me about the email sent to me. I had no clue that I even had that email in my inbox. Now she doesn't believe anything I say is true because of this and if things are going to keep up the way they are, more than likely will end up in divorce because of this site. The email was sent at a time I was either in bed asleep, getting ready for work or on my way to work. The profile it has set me up with said I signed up for it on the same day I received the email. It has me 6 years younger than what I am and also a completely different zip code to a place I have never heard of till now in another state. I am not saying all things from fling.com are false. But keep these post in the back of your mind and do some researching before you jump to conclusions, or you could be leaving a relationship over false pretences.

I just opened my junk mail to see a bunch of Fling.com things. I was pissed b/c if my boyfriend would have seen that he would have flipped! I have never even heard of this site and it tells me thank you for joining and it must think I am a male b/c a bunch of chicks are sending me emails or so it says. I never went on the website to see what info it had down for me I just clicked on the unsubscribe thing and I blocked the address from sending more! They gave me some fake password I would never use in my life Glass something with a bunch of numbers. I am pregnant right now and my boyfriend and I have enough things to worry bout right now and to have him find something I have never signed up for and end up leaving me I'd be severely pissed! I hope I never get an email from them again and I hope you people who have gotten this are still in your relationships.

My husband and I are recently married and have struggled with him looking at porn and lying about it multiple times from almost immediately after we got married. I recently logged into a website www.fling.com using his exact email address and password that he uses for almost all of his other accounts. It pulled up that he had signed up for the site the day I was out of town for my bridal shower and bachelorette party. He swears to me that it is spam and a site he previously signed up for signed his name up for this as well and actually sent me this posting as proof that he didn't sign up for it. I read through all the comments and I have not seen where anyone has actually had an account set up in their name using the same username as well as the exact same password they have for everything else. Could really use some feedback. Thank you all very much.

Wow. I'm just sitting here googling to see whether anyone else was, as my BF says he was, "set up" on fling without his knowledge. I had good reason to be suspicious and this has a sore spot between us, because BF had profiles on sites like these when we met and he didn't exactly bust a gut to cancel them all in the first week. So when I saw it, I was DONE. Just like several others, his username is the first part of his email with a few characters (a letter and two numbers) tacked onto the end. the password is the stated birth year with one letter at the beginning and one at the end. He used to use a fake DOB and zip on sketchy sites, but these choices (1979, los angeles) weren't ones he'd ever used before. The welcome email is dated at a time when he was not able to get internet access to a site like this. I wouldn't make anything of the lack of activity, because like many (most?) other men, BF would prolly just look at the purty pitchers but not want to pay, which you have to if you want to chat or read/send email. the MOST interesting thing to me is that fling.com was already a blocked sender in his email account, but the emails still arrive, which makes me thing that they're spoofing the "from" address to get around filters. I don't really believe in hell, but if i'm wrong, i'm pretty sure there's a special place in it...

Unfortunately I am just one of the many people who have had their account cancelled by tagged but think I can maybe shed some light on why my account was cancelled - I had a match with somebody called 'SOOKRIS' - I accepted the match and became a friend - the picture of the lady in question was undeniably bautiful and I questioned the integrity of the contact - however my inquisitive nature got the better of me and I offered my email address for contact. both msn messenger and yahoo were accepted by 'Sookris' but when I tried to make contact there was no reply - I tried several times to no avail - The next day when I went to my tagged account 50% of the information on my profile had been changed and included a picture of her and where she came from etc - other details belonging to me remained the same - I therefore changed all the details back to my own, checked everything was correct and continued with my friend contacts etc - The next day I did not go online but the day after I went into my email and was inundated with requests from MEN all over the country - literally hundreds of interested men - wondering what the hell was going on I went into my tagged account and there it was - 'your tagged account has been cancelled' no explanation was given and like everybody else i emailed tagged on 3/4 occasions and received no reply - My guess is that somebody had infiltrated my tagged account and placed obscene pictures on it prompting them to cancel the account forthwith - its really annoying not getting the chance to receive an explanation especially as it is undoubtably a software problem - by the way I have sonce tried to contact 'Sookris' but still have no response - the answer is that your tagged account is always under serious threat of removal and therefor my suggestion is that you contact all your friends now and make alternative arrangekment to meet and talk with them elsewhere - after that I suggest that you just dump tagged - its a joke site if it is able to do this when the problem is in fact their own - by the way I have also written to them on a friends site still live on tagged - I haven't had a chance to talk to my friend yet but if you have a friend who can write about your problem on your behalf it will be a good idea to do so - maybe one of us will get lucky and get an explanation - I doubt it but its worth a try - Me, I'm just another disatisfied customer who will not be using their services again - GOODBYE TAGGED - all is not forgiven for sure

Wow im experiencing the same thing with this fling website [censor] my soon to be wife confronted me with this outlandish accusation and its crazy because everything that fling has posted seemed legit they have my email they have my zip code they even made a profile for me that if i made for myself i would have told the truth about which shows a flaw in there scam this is creating a huge problem in honest relationships and could lead to serious injory or even death depending on the people affected by what fling thinks is a great ploy to have people join.

P.S The worse thing about this is trying to prove your innocence when everything fling post looks correct if you are a internet shoper or browser make sure that you use alternate info nothing that has any of your serious personal info.

I recently found a welcome message from Fling.com in my boyfriend's email and was incredibly brokenhearted. We've been together for two years and he is such a trustworthy person (so I had thought). But the more I looked into it, the more I realized it was fake. For one thing the "username" was just his email with two other random numbers on the end and the birthday was wrong. Also, the password they sent was not something he would have picked himself. Then I looked at the time the email was sent, and it was a night I had slept over and he wasn't on the computer at all! He never checks his email really but in the past few weeks I have been checking his account on Fling.com and he has never updated, sent a message, uploaded a picture, or paid for anything. I think its safe to say he didn't sign up for this! Fling.com needs to be confronted over this though, because I'm sure it is ruining other perfectly fine relationships!

It happened to us too! I found a profile under my husbands name, it had his name and email information stating that he created an account 4 days ago, however it was a Sunday that we spent together at home and Church. I know for a fact that there's no way he'd set up an account on that site, besides, we even spent the whole Sunday together. Don't let a site ruin your relationship, they must have got the information from another site, maybe a social network or tracking cookies. Fling.com should've known better and stop messing with people's business, hopefully one day they will realize that this is leading no where and quit doing it or maybe it'll stop when somebody sue them for damages.

The same thing happened to my husband. He was actually in the hospital during the time that it says he registered for the account. I know full well that he had no internet access in the hospital. It used a name almost exactly like his email address with a couple of numbers tacked on the end. The birthday was a bit off, but they had our zip code and his email. And I have to agree with the comment made regarding Spokeo.com as well, they have a wealth of information about people and you would have no idea it is there.

It may be a mistake posting this but I am anyway. This is the link to my "profile" that they set up. As you can see, they got a lot of my info.

This happened to me this morning! I got out of bed late and my wife had found a message from Fling.com in our email. They had my name, email and where I lived! The even created a user name for me that is similar to ones I have used for other things! If anyone had any info on where they are getting this information I would appriciate it. Thank goodness I found this page so I can show it to my wife. Fling.com is VERY VERY bad.
