FirstSource Solutions Unsolicted and invasion of privacy

We are self pay by CHOICE. We used Baptist Hospital for a service recently. A few days later I started recieving calls from First source. When I asked the caller which company she was calling from she claimed she was with Baptist Hospital which was a LIE. After telling her I didn't need help paying the bill I looked at the number she called from and reliazed it was an out of area phone number and called it back to discover this was ACTUALLY First Source who made the call and not the hospital. I did not authorize the hospital to give out our information to third party collection agencies for bills that are NOT EVEN DELEQUENT. Not to mention that First source committed fraud (wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain) when their rep lied to me about who they represented.

Desired outcome: Remove my info from database permanently. Stop lying to callers

Firstsource is an outsourced call center that companies hire and have them make such calls or receive calls for them. It was the hospital that hired them to do so and the hospital didn't hire them to explain their outsourcing to whom they call or receive calls from.

FirstSource Solutions Bulling by Oleevia Devore - company director

Hello, my name is Jennifer Garner, and I was employed by First source for almost a year until last Friday November 18th, 2022. Ok, I lost a love one in my family on the November 14th, and then again in November 16th, I lost 2 Auntie in a row, so I made contact with my supervisor about the first aunt that passed the very same night that it happened, so when I asked about bereavement, Oleevia, immediately stated that our policy at FS does not include aunt's and uncle's and she sent an email to HR, and a few hours later HR responded and told her that our policy does include extended family, so once I got that email, I responded with the proof from the funeral home the passing of my Aunt to Oleevia, and to HR and the next morning when I returned to work I got an email from Oleevia stating that I could only take off Monday and return on Tuesday which was not my 3 days of bereavement. I have discussed this with HR and a full investigation has been started and also, I have other events that has taken place to make me fill as it I will bulled during the whole time, I was at firstsource. I would like for someone in this dept to reach out to me at any time so we can talk about this [protected].

Desired outcome: I would like for a full investigation to be done on Oleevia Devore and it she is not terminated for her actions I plan to peruse on to speak with an attorney about allegations against the company.

FirstSource Solutions Offering medical debt resolution

Repeated to the point of being harassing phone calls and other contacts asking for my personal information to apply for "medical payment assistance" to pay my hospital bills. Present themselves as working with Norton hospitals and doctors and as a free service to Norton patients. Having family in the Norton system, I know this is not true. I also have an issue with Norton's allowing a third party like this to be aware that I was hospitalized.

Desired outcome: Just want them to leave me the hell alone.

FirstSource Solutions Starvation since past 2 weeks due to salary not paid by first source solutions in this covid 19.

Greetings & Attention!

I the undersigned needs to apprise you that I have been offered job as Senior Customer Service Associate by First Source Solutions for sky Upgrades and was asked to join after the offer letter revised and scheduled to join on 17th February 2020. I have proved my professional attitude towards work and henceforth did my level best to give the best possible customer experience for the customers living in the United Kingdom who have been paying for Sky TV & Sky Internet Services and more.

During my training I was appreciated several times by the assigned trainer named Ashish Srivastava. I used to always help the other batch mates when in training and on Production Floor for logging in to their dedicated systems assigned by First Source Solutions.

During my OJT i.e (On Job Training) when the Covid 19 hit India. I was among the one who logged in alone on 23rd March 2020 with by Team leader Imtiaz Hussaini and my Operation Manager named Francis Rodriguez. I was paid INR 500/- for the attendance in addition to the daily salary on 23rd February 2020 which was transferred to my salary account in approximately in mid week on April 2020 via HDFC Bank.

Further when the critical time started with Covid 19. We had a Zoom call with delicately assigned members of Team of 8 People to join Mortgage process in presence of my Sky Operation and Team on Zoom meeting platform. As with no further questions I was in for the mortgage process and further was happy with my carrier with First Source Solutions. As I have experienced that due to the technical outages my team an me were not able to be a part on the Zoom meeting and further was bought to my notice that we will be marked absent if we miss training productivity for mortgage. We also had a what's app chat group during the Zoom Meeting were people were posting forwards that Zoom in not a safe application for meeting purposes. After when trying to connect with the assigned HR for Mortgage I was told that I was referred to CM or Customer Management process. I texted personally via whats app with to the assigned trainer Sumit Patnaik where I asked him whether I will be paid salary for the assigned days by default I never had a response from him. Further I was also told by Operations that I am getting additional INR 6120/- for the sales I made when on production floor for Sky Service. I was also informed that this will be credited with the April 2020 salary by end on April 2020 itself.

My prominent concerns for floating this email :

1. I have not been paid salary for the month on April 2020 yet.

2. I was harassed in the weirder professional manner by entire HR - Team of First Source Solutions.

3. I have already informed Rakesh Kadam, Prakash Biswa that I am starving due to lack of essential commodities and will faint or die if salary is not released.

4. The HR - Prakash Biswa confirmed on call today that I am free to escalate my concerns to higher management and they are will only release salary if I am conformed with Comcast i.e. United States - Internet Service Provider.

5. Today on call I was again asked to wait for final approval and only after that the HR - Team only then will be the request put to release my salary. (Please find Salary slip attached for the month of April 2020 below as the salary slip itself states "Bank Name : Held Back".)

6. I have several times informed the HR Team with First Source Solutions that I have taken a shark loan for INR 5000/- for which interest is due since 27th April 2020. I have also informed that I am not able to handle this stress and will be forced to commit Suicide.

7. Due to this I have spoiled my rapport with my friends as I have not accepted my friend's for financial help.

8. I was also insulted on the what's app chat group by others and was taken off the what's app group. Please find what's app chat details exported file attached for the relevant conversations.

9. I am not sure what will happen to me if I am not paid and when First Source Solutions takes me off the job.

FirstSource Solutions debt collectors who crossed the legal line

My son had an American Express card which was put into Collections. The total amount due was $3, 076.24, He never received a written letter from these people and may have received phone calls, but he wasn't sure. This past Sunday, January 14, my father-in-law who has the same name but is Sr (my husband is Jr and our son is the Third) started receiving phone calls from India from First Source Advantage about an amount owed to American Express. He has an American Express card which is current. He is 89 years old and told them he was not sure why they were calling him. They said he owed them money but could not tell him how much it was because it was not his card. They called him back 2 more times Sunday, 2 times Monday, 2 times yesterday and again this morning.

He became so upset over this calling him for a debt that was not even his. It was his grandson's. He asked them how they got his name and phone number since it is not his account, and they could not give him an answer -
they kept saying that he needed to pay the debt. Still, would not confirm the amount because he was not authorized to talk to them by his grandson.
Yesterday, I was at their house when they called again. He told them he was going to get it paid. Finally, a supervisor did tell him that the amount owed was $3, 076.24. He told them yesterday afternoon the debt would be paid this week and they said, "We're going to keep calling you until this is paid." And, they called him again this morning at 8:15 am.

I called this company today and spoke with 2 people and finally got a Supervisor who got mighty humble when I told him I was going to file a complaint with American Express, the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission for Consumers, AARP because he is elderly and was being preyed upon by these people. He literally begged me to not file a complaint, said everyone makes mistakes, and I told him that ship has already sailed. He told me he would forgive the debt and not to pay it. I told him our family pays our bills and it might be my son's debt, my father-in-law's grandson's debt - but this bill would be paid TODAY. He said he could not talk to me because I wasn't authorized, so I had to call my son on my cell phone and hold it up to my office phone so he could get the authorization to let me pay this bill. My son approved for me to pay this bill and I took care of it.

He apologized profusely and asked me not to complain. All I wanted to do at that point was get off of the phone. I told him our business was completed and to have a nice day. I called American Express and I filed a complaint with Customer Service and I am about to write them a letter along with the other entities listed above.

These people broke the law in so many ways - 1) They had no right to contact any one else but my son - it is his account and his debt. 2) My father-in-law's phone number or relationship with his grandson is not even listed on the account so they obtained his phone number through illegal means. 3) The amount of harassment is obscene - they knew he was elderly - he talks like an old man, can't hear and has you repeat almost everything on the phone. To make 8 phones call in 3 days is unheard of. My father-in-law always answers his phone, so he won't ignore a phone call. To call someone at 8:15 am and then to call back at 3 or 8pm is obscene.

My Father-In-Law is 89, he has health and heart issues. He has been so upset over this situation, I was worried we might have to take him to the hospital. I have his Legal and Medical Power of Attorney - so I am able to speak on his behalf. Now, this bill has been paid, and the account has been closed, but I am furious with the techniques and methods used by these people. I do not want other people to have to go through what my family has gone through. This has to stop.

Hi Ms. Sibley,

I appreciate your frustration and ultimate desire to protect your father-in-law. To be frank, I don't see any laws they broke and even calling twice a day isn't harassment. The problem seems more of having your son not paying his debts. Maybe the appropriate course of action is to speak to your son.

On various occasions in the past, Mr. Pinaki has been putting me down because I was do notice period from my post for my family reason.But Mr. Pinaki Mitra was not accespted my notice and aslo tell me to doing for abonded.So i bound to do abonded and also inform me to impact my fnf.

So, i heardly requestd to accept my resine and don't impact my salary and also inform you please going for a step for Pinaki Mitra's Attitude.

FirstSource Solutions Money taken out without permission

The company took out $388.86 on 6/30/2016 from my credit union without my permission. I cannot afford to pay out that kind of money all at once as I am not working right now. It shows a check of that amount and I never received a letter saying they were going to do so. I want the money put back into my checking account(all of it). I did not get letters or anything from them either regarding this.

Unfortunately unless you can dispute the charge with the credit union, you probably aren't going to get your money back. FSA is a debt collector, you're going to have a very hard/impossible time convincing them to return the money you owe them.
Contact your credit union first and ask about disputing, you may not have to do much more than that. If that doesn't work, call FSA and offer to set up a payment plan if they will refund your money. Good luck.

FirstSource Solutions Harrasment

I have been receiving threatening calls from an individual by the name of Williams at [protected]. It appears First Source Advantage or Alliance Data attempted to debit my account for $30. and the account did not debit. Now I am being threated with suit by Williams he says he is Officer Ben Grow a Prosecution Officer with Dade County who is pursuing suit against me for failure to pay a debt that I am unaware of. He is a person with little to know patience and a thick accent. He is consistently recording our telephone calls; however when I request a contact telephone number for the creditor he is referring to he will not give me a telephone number. Please avoid borrowing on line this is a scam.

FirstSource Solutions Harassing phone calls about an in-law

We are receiving harassing phone calls at all hours of the day and night from an outfit called First Source Advantage. They say they need to contact my husband's brother about "a business matter." They won't tell us what it is, but we're guessing they're trying to collect on a debt. My brother in law lives in the same town and we are the only people with our last name, so I guess if he's not responding they're going after us. We block their number each time they call, but their Caller ID changes and sometimes there's no Caller ID at all--just "unavailable" or "out of area." Each time they call they use a different number, so it's almost futile to block them---they just call on another line. I've looked online and see complaints about them accessing people's bank accounts and taking unauthorized payments. I'm concerned because with our unusual last name in a small town, they may try that next. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, but don't expect it to do any good.

Debt collectors are prohibited from engaging in certain conduct in their attempt to collect a debt. If you believe that your rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act have been violated, you should contact a consumer law attorney to review your case. The FDCPA provides for damages plus costs if you prevail in court.

FirstSource Solutions Harrassing calls

This company has called my cell phone on several occasions asking for a male with the initials W.D. and a reference # of [protected]. I (female), kindly returned the calls stating I don't know a W.D. or anything about this issue. During this past call I spoke with Ed Bell who stated he was a supervisor. During our conversation, I never raised my voice or cursed. I can't say Mr. Bell did the same. All I was asking for was to remove my cell phone number from their system. The people, for the most part, who are employees of this company are RUDE and UNHELP! I have don't have outstanding debt and I'm being harassed by FIRST SOURCE ADVANTAGE!

FirstSource Solutions Harassing phone calls.

I have received many phone calls on my cell and home regarding some kind of "business matter" which is probably an old, old debt from my divorce.
Today the collector called my sisters father in law who is in no way related to me, I don't even know where the collector got the number. When we ask them to stop calling, they just argue. I never received any type of letter or anything from these people.
I googled them and found out they are based in India or something. They seem very shady.
I don't know how to get them to stop, other than sending a cease and desist letter, which I don't know if they would even honor.
Any ideas would be very helpful.

FirstSource Solutions Harassment from India

Make the Towel Heads Stop! 1) I can't understand an "English" word they are saying. 2) They bought bad papers to people who have settled their debts and are trying to gain their lives back from the banker thieves who put these people where they are. 3) The Towel Heads hide behind English names like Neil Mak and Neil Jadhav who have no business threatening anyone with credit slandering and creating hostile situations on a phone. The harassment is beyond unnerving and has ignited stress and mass confusion to the victims this dirt bag of a company is controlled by, one Matthew Vallance and his Towel Head Gang. America was meant for Americans who live here to better our Economy. Not to take advantage of its own citizens by outsourcing the dirty work to dirtbags in India. India is the armpit of America and the country serves absolutely no purpose other then brothels and spices. Matthew Vallance is just one of the many used-car salesmen like grave diggers who is stupid enough to profile himself on the internet and who will surely receive what he shares.

FirstSource Solutions Deceptive/Harrassment

This collection agency is very rude and malicious. I made a payment on a medical bill that I had not heard from, nor received any correspondence from in several months. After I lost my job, I lost my medical insurance, therefore, the insurance company would not pay the claim. Being disabled and finally recovering from financial and economic disaster, I finally paid the debt off. Right after I paid the debt, without any warning, contact, statements or letters, First Source placed a negative collection account on my credit report for a balance of $36.00. Now, after trying to repair my credit and financial situation, they maliciously lowered my credit score with this fraudelent fee.

FirstSource Solutions Harassment at work by HR & TL

Dear Sir, I am Abhisek Acharya Employee of First Source Solution LTD, SILIGURI, Emp Id 559139, I am writing this letter to inform you about the harassment I am being subjected to, by my TL Dipak Gupta & HR Amita Biswas.

On various occasions in the past, Mr. Dipak has been putting me down because I was ill and sufering from Tonsil problem. Then he and Amita Biswas start there comments harassment went way beyond my tolerance levels. He not only made extremely racist remarks against me but also misbehaved with me.

In all the 6 months that I have been working in this company, this is not the first time I have ever had to encounter such problems.

I request you to kindly look into the matter at the earliest and take suitable action. Because they both are not perfect in there jobs.

Dear sir,

We r the employee of First source solution Limited on Kolkata Branch & the process fo Vodafone (Bengal), we r most Sr. C.S.A of First source, last 3rd of Nov, we r attempt to submits our Resignation, to our H.R(Rumela Das), & O.M(Harjindar Kaur), because of we r got better opportunity, but they r not accepting our Resignation, told us u have to surf 15 days notice period (with so rude behavioral, Specially Harjindar Kaur) we replied its not possible, because we have to join our new company, we can do as minimum time for serve notice period, but they r not give us any chances & also thereat for we r not eligible for get our Release letter & P.F amount also, Specially H.R Rumela Maam was Told me that in our "G" Zone, which is now H.R Room. So we ask now, is that true?

Please reply, Because we don't want to loose, after 2, 3 or 4 years work experience certificate & P.F money also, which is deducted from our salaries all month on past those years. Otherwise we have to do something legally way. please sir look into the matter, we don't want to loose our long & Good relationship with FSL.
We hope u will look into this matter, solve our problem, ASAP, we r waiting for your reply with coordination

FirstSource Solutions Delay of PF From Firstsource solutions

Dear sir,
My name is Anusha .E .V my employ id: - 404798. I was worked as customer care Agent in First source solutions. My joining date 31st march 2008 my reliving date is 16th march 2009 after that I didn’t get my PF still now. There were not informing me about my PF details. One time know that my cheque was out dated, and I didn’t see the HR Department in the First source. I don’t know that cheque for what? I want my PF and their Clarification at immediately so please take immediate action against it.

FirstSource Solutions No network coverage

This is vinoth My number is [protected], i take this connection for 3 years, now i got a big problem, while reach my home i can't able to call anyone. i got a error lile Unable to connect' last one month onwards i got a same problem, i already informed to customer care to resolve this issue, but there is no proper resolution from your end, so i pls rectity this issue immediatly..

Firstsource Solution Limited is a awesome company to work. But the Management is in wrong hands uneducated ###, Mother ###ers, son & daughter of ###. Most of the top level Managers are hardly SSLC & PUC for Ex. floyd patrick tannen(###), Prashanth krishnamurthy(not born for right parents), clifford Joseph(Pimp)
Many of the graduate are working under this ### for P-nuts. ### there wifes men.
After working so much end of the day this ### will take all the credits. There are HR who are only close to this pimp. HR in firstsource are harami or mavali's ### even they can not do there duty properly. Partiality is on the card GM brother in law a non performer will be promoted immediately. managers brother is promoted immediately before confirmation. no equality for common employees like us.
!The CEO should Remove few toplevel Managers for their behaviour!

FirstSource Solutions violation of the FDCPA

This collection agency was attempting to contact my son and left a message on my telephone answering machine stating that they were attempting to collect a debt. This is a clear violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Further they contacted various family members requesting information for debt collection.

So quit whining about it here, have your son file a civil suit for each infraction in the offender's local court, and stand back and profit. Additionally, tell your son to stop being a deadbeat, pay his bills and stop living beyond his means.

FirstSource Solutions Harassing Phone Calls

My husband and I keep receiving calls from this company about an account we do not have. Our son set up the account and they have been calling us several times a day from early morning till late night telling us we need to settle this account. Each time the amount needed to settle is different, if we listen to their spill! We have asked them not to call us we do not know the arrangements our son made or his financial status. When I asked them why they were calling us, as we had nothing to do with the account they said it was the only number they had. I then politely asked them to quit calling my home and was told they would continue to call and get an attorney and I wouldn't like that. I then said they wouldn't like it if I got an attorney to get them to stop calling my home. He asked if I was threatening him and I said no, all I am asking is that you stop calling and hung up. The rep sounds of Middle Eastern descent and he is rather rude most of the time.

the biggest obligation for collectors are anwering machine --i m a collector and u guys dont answer u r fone on time---so v guys have to find a solution to make u guys paythe bill u guys are debtors and not the consumer so u better answer u r fone or else face the harassment --and then u crib and cry that v keep calling uuuuuuuuuu---no its ur fault taht u guys dont pay ur bill on time -if u wud have been --then v guys are not fool --to call u and haras BE-AWARE--THOSE WHO DIDNT PAID THEIR OUTSTANDING BILL WITH CAPITALONE ---U CANT DENY ALSO THAT V DNT HV MONEY AS THIS IS THE TAX SEASON U GUYS SHOULD PAY UR BILL --OR ELSE FACE HARASMENT--AS I SAID TO THOSE WHO DIDNT PAID THEIR BILL WITH CAPITAL ONE START PAYNG

It sounds like you got that taken care of, and an attourney is that next step when they disregard legitimate requests.

I mostly wanted to post that link for people who are currently/still having trouble with this organization.

It is interesting that First Source Advantage LLC can stay in business for so long considering their unabashedly criminal nature. They obviously handle legitimate debts, but they invent fictitious debts as well, and pursue them just as ferociously as a real debt. Whether or not they are pursuing a real debt, they do not follow the letter of the law... but the fact is, they attempt to steal money from people who owe nothing - and I'm sure that in some cases they succeed.

It's interesting.
I might investigate them and write a book about this if they don't stop harassing me.
They have no idea how little they want to become my newest hobby. >:D

Officially, they are not allowed to contact you. You can send them a certified letter, and they are obligated to take it seriously.
