First Data contract never explained to me

I opened a small retail business in town that also had a cafe in front of the store. A man shows up wanting to discuss credit card machines and since this was all new to me I invited him in. He asked me which bank I had set up the business account with and I told him. He said "Oh I deal with them too". I told him I was giving the business a year to see if it would take off and if not I would cut my losses and close. He told me he could set me up with the perfect machine that would deposit the credit card directly into my business account. Then he pulled out his IPAD and had me sign in several spaces that oily showed a line for me to put a signature. He explained one signature was for information for the auto deposit, another was for a credit check, another was for the equipment to be shipped to my business address. NOTHING was ever mentioned that I was signing a 4 YEAR LEASE! Especially when I even told him I was giving the business a year. When the equipment arrived I got the wrong stuff because for the cafe part, there wasn't an area for people to leave tips. The business did close I called the company to ask where to send the equipment, they told me it was mine and that I had signed a 4 yr lease and that there was no way out of it. I was told "Don't you read contracts before you sign them?" When I tried to explain that I never saw a contract they said they had my signature on one. I called my attorney who told me to close my business account and if it did go on my credit to write a letter to the credit bureau and explain what happened. I am telling everyone I can not to deal with First Data. I did speak to a rep for Sage Payments. I wish I would of gone with them!

First Data money extortion

First Data is scamming me right now.
They are reporting me wrongly to Collection agency in Texas, that is their own, I guess.
And they are saying their lease is for 48 months!
I already returned them their equipment (credit card machine) after 6 months of their bad, disorganized services with inconsistent statements records and debit-credit operations with my checking account, and after my numerous frustrating telephone calls to them and many letters asking to clear out their wrong charges and cancel the bad service.
I am collecting info on them in order to sue them in the appropriate court and/or class action. Please join me with your info.
I am a financially struggling educator (they laid us off in 2011 in CA and I have only 10 hrs weekly of teaching now with unemployed summer in front of me). I am also going through a bad divorce with an abusive husband/gambler.
I owe to CHASE bank for my small business 21, 600 dollars. I have always paid on time my debts and minimum payments.
The First Data does not leave me the other choice as to fight for my credit history, that have been always good.
Please join me, everybody, in the fight for Consumer Rights against the multi-state electronic soulless and shameless monster corporation First Data Global Leasing (FDGL).
FDGL get the electronic signature from the victim deceitfully and unethically without proper disclosure about the robbing Lease Agreement of 48 months.
They rip off honest taxpayers just on the base of their crooked Lease Agreement signed electronically.
FDGL take full advantage of a gullible small business owner who, trying to survive in a bad economy, needs credit card machine. First Data are hooking themselves to the victim's bank account or credit card account threatening with collection agency and spoiling credit history.
I am preparing a UTube post on them on my trilingual UTube channel in English and Spanish languages to help out other USA consumers.
Please join me in the fight for justice for a Consumer suffered from First Data Global Leasing/First Data Merchant Services. [protected]@zoiasfashions.com Please put in the Subject Line FDLG Sue so I could organize info effectively.
Zoia's Fashions 954 N Grand Ave, Covina, CA 91724, [protected]
(I will probably have to close my small business in a few months because of my bank debt)
I have the four addresses of FDGL in different states, and a collection of other complaints of consumers about FDGL rip off from a different Internet site. I also have a name and telephone number of a contact person for a class action.

First Data first data global leasing - attn: iso's!!

Attention ISO's: If you are thinking of writing deals thru First Data, do not use first data global leasing as your leasing company. They are trigger happy on chargbacks, they took thousands out of our account and could not explain why. This company NEVER answers the phone and never returns phone calls. They are an unlawful company. I strongly advise never doing business with FDGL!...

First Data Breach Of Contract

with this company less than a month ago and already they have breached the contract. I noticed none of the money was put into my account so I decided to call and that's when I was told my account was on "hold" and being screened due to potential security risk. I asked why and that's when I was told it was because of a relationship with another credit card reseller named Leaders. The representative was told about the situation and still I was granted access to began accepting credit cards. Yet a week later my account is under scrutiny?!? I spoke to a representative in account security named Milly and she is the one who closed my account. She did not close my account because I am a risk, she closed it purposely because I yelled at her. She lied on my customers and said they gave negative feedback which could lead to a potential chargeback which could be a RISK to their business so my account would be closed. I called my customers to see exactly what the problem could be because ALL of the work was in progress of completion or had been completed. The customers all informed me they had no real issues. I approached Milly with the situation and she denied it yet I have proof from my customers saying they are satisfied with my services. Milly stated the account would remain closed and decided to hold my funds but once I told her I would have my customers dispute with the credit card company specifying FIRST DATA as the issue not INFINITE AUTO TRANSPORT and my customers would now be paying cash - that's the only reason my funds were released. What has taken place is despicable and no one at the company seems to care to assist. I continue to ask the employees who do they adhere to but no one will assist me. This is my last resort prior to contacting an attorney. My account was closed because of Milly's personal feelings but if you look at the proof in front of you I had no reason to be scrutinized especially when I have proof they knew of the other relationship and secondly I hadn't done anything to be scrutinized, all worked has now been completed but I am now unable to process credit cards with anyone else. I need assistance as I am losing money and have been prescribed Zoloft because this situation has caused several panic attacks. I need the $1500 in damages paid to me and I will go on otherwise I will be taking this to the next level. All I've gotten is the "run around"!

First Data illegal contract

I contacted First Data after receiving a mailer, advertising a free credit card machine. I entered a three year contract over the phone with their rep., appropriately named Scott RANSOM! After a few months I noticed they were deducting a monthly leasing fee from my bank account. When I questioned Mr. Ransom about this, he said I agreed to pay this fee for 48 months when I entered the contract, and I could not get out of it without paying the fees! When I told him there was never any mention of a monthly lease during our phone contract, he said to prove it! I tried for months to speak to a supervisor about this situation, and was always told a supervisor would contact me, but I was never contacted! Finally I filed a suit against this company in Small Claims Court. After the Judge saw all the documents and e-mails I received from First Data, he agreed the first mention of a leasing fee, wasn't until several months after I had agreed to the initial contract. The Judge ruled in my favor and awarded me all of my leasing fees and a fine against the Company. Stand up for your rights and go after these crooks! I also filed a complaint against them with the Federal Trade Commission. Tim, Poway CA

First Data unethical and misleading business

November 3, 2010 I entered an agreement with Capital Network Processing. I showed my statements to the sales rep of CNP and he then explained to me all the funds I could save monthly using his company. I switched to them excited that as a small business I would save additional overhead. Unfortunately I was taken. He did not disclose the additional lease that my signature would hold me to with First Data Global for the terminal. I tried to cancel my service within the allowed time (60 days) as I did not see the savings I was promised and then was told that I would still be held to paying for the terminal. My 3 years is coming up for expiration so I called to cancel my service and was told that again it did not release me from the terminal lease which is an additonal one year. So, they sign a merchant account for 3 years and the terminal fee for 4. They informed me I would be responsible to pay $484.00. This business practice is VERY misleading and extremely stressful to a single mothers small business. I appreciate any method in which you hold these crooks responsible for their actions. It is apparent that I am not alone in my situation

First Data first data takes advantage of small businesses

I was tricked into entering a contract with First Data Bank. A representative- Walid Said, came to me and offered my business a credit card machine with a one time payment of $100. He then offered his iPad to sign the agreement. Before signing I asked him if there was anything else in this contract that I needed to know, what is it saying. His response was that it was only talking about what we already discussed. I entered the contract and then the problems started. I was constantly charged with fees besides the ones that we discussed which makes having the credit machine unprofitable, I never received a copy of the contract, and when I tried to call and cancel they then told me that there was a $500 cancellation fee which I was never told about originally. Additionally, they told me that there is an annual fee of a $100- the same $100 which the representative had originally told me was a one time payment. Now I am in a difficult place trying to get rid of this account. This company is robbing me blind and after doing some much needed research I realize that I am not the only one. Please help me to get rid of these people, I have a small business and First Data is trying to stunt its growth. I have yet to receive a contract from them and about 50% of the total transactions that I receive via credit cards are withdrawn from my business' account as their monthly fees.

Thank you for your sarcastic comments but how many people actually read all terms and agreements presented on an electronic device? I should have been issued a hard copy or even an email where I can read all the pages for myself. I am being honest about my situation, if you can help fine, if you can't, why waste your time commenting? I am hoping others can learn from my mistake.

First Data rude, liars, hung up on customer

I called (first data corporation, first data resources,, first data credit card center, first data, www.firstdata.com.
Www.firstdatacardprocessing.com) to set up and get help with my new merchant account for credit card processing. the first phone rep I spoke to was (melanie) who did not want to spend the time to help me so she hung up on me.
I then called back and she "picked up and hung up" (knowing it was me calling back), I then called back 2 more times. the last time I got (mark) who I asked to speak with his supervisor. mark replied, "would you like to talk to melanie?", I asked to speak with mark's supervisor again, and was connected with (eric nicholas) a "supervisor" for " (first data corporation, first data resources,, first data credit card center, first data, www.firstdata.com. www.firstdatacardprocessing.com),. I told eric nicholas that his rep (melanie) hung up on me since it was easier than answering my questions and helping me set up my new merchant account., and that I wanted to get all the names his company useses so I could complain about them online,
Eric nicholas did not want to answer my questions, and hung up on me.

Do not do business with these rude, liars, this is a scam, fraud.

First Data faulty practice

Bait and Switch
I was involved with bait and switch along with breech of contract from a company named Prestige Payment Systems. They convinced me that they would save me $200-$250 a month on my processing charges. I said, if you can save me that much then I will change process company. During this time I was told that the $200-250 savings would have to include a credit card machine. I told them I didn't need it and would not use it, they replied you will still save money with the equipment and in order to receive the savings I was forced to receive the equipment. I guess I should have not proceeded, but I figure they stated I would still have a huge savings even with the machine. A couple months later I began using the new processing company and I received my first bill after processing $2700 worth of business and I noticed I was charge over $400. Now normally I pay $600 for processing over $15, 000 a month. So I was shocked when I received a bill for over $400. I called and asked why I was charged so much and they replied, "that's what you signed up for." I stated, "no you told me I would save money and so for you are wrong and it is pretty clear I will be spending more money." I then asked them where the $250 credit I was to receive for canceling my other processing company. They stated, "we usually wait until the customer requested it." So I requested it; 120 days past I never received my credit and my prices were crazy. I called and cancel the contract due to breech of contract along with bait and switch. They canceled it and I never heard anything from them. Now I have a bill from First Data for over $6, 000. I explained that I was involved in a bait and switch along with a breech of contract and they stated we are sorry but you leased equipment from us. I then replied that I sent the equipment back to their company and no longer have it. They are now telling me they will settle for $3, 000. I don't understand why they can't see that I was brought into the entire agreement under false information that was provided to me via another company. Since the contract was illegally represented by Prestige I am getting punished from this company and they will not settle or cancel my contract due to the bait and switch tactic that influenced my actions.

First Data treacherous leasing tactics

http://signon.org/sign/first-data-global-leasing.fb23?source=c.fb&r_by=6337771
Please sign my petition against First Data Global Leasing. I'm gonna do whatever it takes to make them feel every bit as terrible as they have made me feel for a whole year! Let's take a stand and let our voices be heard! First Data Global Leasing corporation was introduced to me by my bank and has been nothing but a sickening headache since. They represented themselves as one company then when problems arose as a result of their actions, they are suddenly two separate entities that don't relate to one another. My contracts and financial information was sold to another company without my consent and I'm being harassed for payment on equipment I no longer have or was able to use by the company they sold my contract to! They are threatening to ruin my and my mother's credit. They have an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau although they had 295 complaints this year alone--699 in total! Many are considered resolved based on the word of First Data regardless of the satisfaction of the customer. Hundreds of thousands of small business owners are suffering as a result of their shady business practices. The customer service is so rude and robotic. Their only goal appears to be amassing wealth by bullying you into paying thousands of dollars for a machine worth a couple of hundred. So who's really hurting the economy?

First and foremost, I need to thank Complaints Board for having such a invaluable site, I'm no longer alone.
I was tricked, yes tricked by a sales rep from Capital Network into signing this 3 year contract with a 4 year lease with First Data Global, I didn't know how was that possible. My own T7plus hypercom was working just fine and could be reprogramed to work with most networks, including Capital Network ( I have their latest compliant sheet), when confronted, First Data Global would not work with me even after I thorougly explained to them that the contract was not valid in the first place. Now, I will take First Data Global to court to seek a full reimbursement of the 2 year equipment lease. I have closed by account, sent back the equipment to address on my monthly bills, because if the address was good enough to steal my money then it's good enough to receive the returned equipment, just make sure they sign for it. I now welcome First Data Global harrassing calls, I tell them to call me everyday and anytime, and they should thank me for they still have a job, strangely I feel they appreciate me.

First Data charges for a returned machine

I returned my old credit card machine in May of 2011. I took notice on Aprl 16, 2012 I was being charged by First Data Global Leasing twice a month five days apart for the lease. I called them and they told me I had two leases with them because I did not return the credit card machine. I did return it but I did not have a tracking number for it and they told me if I did not have the tracking number they would not credit my account. They have been charging me $54.86 since JULY of 2011 til present. They told me they would close the lease for $20.41 which they charged my account on April 20, 2012. The bank told me they had the credit card machine and they gave me the date they received it and the serial number to the machine I called First Data with this information and they still told me without a tracking number they would not credit my account. I called my bank and they said it is not in their hands to do anything about this matter. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE! Why didn't the bank return the machine to me if it is such a big deal? The leasing company knows I do not have. it so what is going on here?

I have called them and told them that I have not owned the business since 2008 and that the current owner is the one they should be after. I have filed bankruptcy and they were llisted in the discharge. I just received another bill from them for the equipment for 2011. How do I stop them?

First Data lease payments on returned credit card machine

I had to close my business after almost 9 years last May 31, 2011. At that time I was no longer needing or wanting credit card processing services and notified First Data Global Leasing of this. They informed me that I would not be able to get out of the lease that I had signed a few years prior even if I returned their equipment. I held on to the equipment, and continued to make the lease payments through my business checking account at West Coast Bank. When I no longer had any money coming into that account and ran out of money, having no job and not opening another business that would need the services of a credit card processing service I, again, spoke with First Data Global Leasing hoping that they would let me out of the contract. They said that they would not, but I could send the equipment back. I did, then, send the equipment back to them (about 6 weeks ago)) and I then wrote a long letter stating my situation in hopes that they would waive the last 16 months of payments. I spoke with someone on the phone from their office who said they would settle with me for over $1000.00. I informed her that I did not have the ability to pay that. She asked what I could pay and I said that, if I had work, I could probably come up with $100. a month; but would hope that since they had the machinery they might see fit to let me out of the lease. That was the end of any direct communication with their offices. I continue to receive invoices wanting $85.00 a month until I pay off the lease agreement. I even spoke with the manager of my bank branch and she told me that their hands were tied and that they couldn't do anything for me with First Data (even though they have an affliation with this business). I don't know what to do now...is there any justice for someone who ran a business using this company and their equipment for almost nine years even through a downturn in the economy that finally put me out of business?

First Data Not honorable business partners

This company has the worst customer service. They only operate business hours on Central Standard time. And when I did call before closing they closed early that day. You can't talk to anyone much less the slick sales person who showed up to pitch this to me ( his number has been disconnected). They lock you in to a 48 month lease for which comes to nearly $2, 000 for a machine that can be purchase for less than $300. That was my mistake. I don't know how I'll get rid of them but I'm working on it. Their analysis of the fees was a lot different. I'm now paying considerably more than with ACCPC which has better rates and customer service.

First Data Fraud

OMG! The exact same thing happened to me. I applied in December, 2011 and on December 29th my application was rejected by Steven King at Canadian Payment Services. I then went to Chase Paymentech. On January 20th I received my Chase terminal, and the rates matched the contract signed. On March 2, 2012 I received a terminal from First Data. I did not know what was going on. I contacted my sales rep, and she said that the application was cancelled last year, and that Steven King had rejected the application because they could not do the rate of 1.49%. She emailed me a copy of the rejection letter received by Steven King which was dated December 29th. On March 3, 2011, an Edward called me from Canadian Payment Services demanding that I connect the terminal. I called my representative and she said that she does not know who an Edward is, and that Canadian Payment Services was just trying to scam me into connecting to their terminal so that they could steal monies out of my account. I indicated that I did not agree to the services nor did I sign a contract. I called First Data, and they said that Canadian Payment Services submitted my application on February 28, 2012, and that is why I received a terminal on March 3rd. I told First Data that I was rejected on December 29th, and as a result my application was cancelled. On March 5, today, Canadian Payment Services called again, and asked if I was going to hook the terminal up. I told them to get lost as I do not know who she is nor do I know who an Edward is. My representative emailed me a copy of the contract that she had, and it was clearly marked as cancelled. I can not believe that Canadian Payment Services would stoop so low. What type of company does that? From the posts on this website it is clear that no one should trust them
