Michael Bohannon, former employee makes false statements...

My name is Richard Giannini, President of First Choice Business Brokers. This report was made a former employee - Michael. He was fired because he did not fit within our culture and values.

Please have a look at our website at www.FCBBI.com and specifically look 'Our Values' in the 'About Us' section. This is who we are, Michael did not fit in with this culture. Almost immediately after he was fired did he file this report.

If Mr. Bohannon actually believed what he wrote was true and correct - why did he not leave the company?

On finding this report we immediately filed a lawsuit. Interestingly we have seen no other negative statements made by Mr. Bohannon since.

Dear Mr.. Bohannon:
My office has been retained by First Choice Business Brokers in the matter of your defamation of my client. As such, please direct all future correspondence to this office. It has come to my attention that you have injured my client's reputation by making false accusations and/or comments regarding its business practices, its adherence to federal law, and its profitability. Indeed, you have posted false statements on the internet website called “Ripoff Report." Such false and defamatory statements include, but are not limited to:

· First Choice Business Brokers Deceptive Trade Practices Fraud Las Vegas Nevada;

· First Choice deliberately hides the fact that franchises are closed down or never open after paying the franchise fee. This is in violation of the FTC rules for being a Legal Franchise company;

· First Choice makes claims about having done $3 billion in listings, while not being able to provide any proof of such a large number (basically a 'pulled it from their xxx' number);

· Verification of all the poor people that have purchased one of their franchises reveal that virtually none of them have realized any profit or even sales of business as touted.

The above statements are false and injurious. Indeed, they portray an utterly ill informed understanding of the long history of First Choice and a blatant ignorance of its reputable business practices. If these statements were not made out of your pure ignorance, then they represent a deliberate and premeditated attempt to harm the business of my client. In either regard, under the laws of the State of Nevada, you have libeled my client. Punitive damages may be awarded in such cases as this. As my client has built a well respected reputation in the franchise community and in the business community in general, the President of First Choice has instructed me that he will not stand idle while you sully the good name and reputation of First Choice Business Brokers.

Therefore, demand is hereby made that you immediately retract all defamatory statements of or concerning First Choice Business Brokers made by you to any third party. You are to post retractions on any website or chat room where your defamatory comments were published. Further, you are to send similar retractions by mail to any third party to whom you have slandered the reputation of my client. Proof of your retractions must be made to this office.

Do not underestimate my client's resolve in this matter. He has notified me that unless the aforementioned retractions are immediately made and the relocation fee is returned, my firm is to file suit against you in the Eighth Judicial District Court, State of Nevada. Guide yourself accordingly.
