A hair product was ordered from this company on June 16th of this year...and was received on June 25th!
The reasons for this complaint is as following... (Order number for this product is: 121-265)
1. The Hair did not look the same in the picture...
2. The Hair appeared to be used...not (new)
3. The Hair appears not to be fresh in appearance...
4.The Hair packaging is very poorly done...the hair was place in a plastic bag...with no-hair net..(to hold the hair in place)
5.The Hair was place in a( used- white-gift box with a gold ribbon tied around it)...WOW!...I was very SHOCK...how could a respectable company of this sort---could send out poor quality goods and bad service...and-dd...
6. The used white gift box was mail inside the USPS...priority mail...
Sadden...from this situation...how could this happen...the company was paid in full for the hair product!

On June 16th of this year a order was place with this company. Why? because I like what was advertised (picture of the hair) on that web-site and what was describe. As well as the price for the item. I finally gotten the hair on June 25th, Monday! The reasons for this complaint as of following...
1. The packaging was soooo... awful...it came in a 'used gift white-box...with a wrinkle up gold color ribbon' place on it and mail in a Priority post office box!
2. I was SHOCK ----that this company would send out a package of ---poor quality..now inside the box was the 'hair-itself...'
3. The Hair appears to be used...
4. The Hair appears not to be of fresh appearance...
5. The Hair did not have a (hair-net) on it...to keep the hair in place...
6. The Hair was just place in the plastic bag and mail out...
7.As a consumer we purchase items on the web-site...'what we veiwed from the picture...' meaning...
8. The Hair do not look like the picture on the company website!
Sadden to say...so many web-sites companies do not have any respect for the consumer business!

They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I paid 992 for a custom wig with priority shipping. And not only did I not receive it in a timely fashion. But I receive the package falling apart and after I opened it there wasn’t even a wig inside the box. The package was delayed in Illinois for 4 days. And obviously something happened or it wouldn’t have been flagged In Illinois. And when I speak to them they tell me to make a police report for the post office and I ask if I’m going to get my wig or a refund for my wig and she says no. She shipped my wig and there’s nothing she can do. She said I received my wig. I spend almost a grand and I can’t even believe how poorly the packaging was. And then clearly being able to see there was some kind of delay and she still won’t do anything to help me. You know how much work 1000 is ? And then to have this company completely take my money like this. There was weight in the package that made it feel like there was a wig in it. So I think they do that intentionally so people sign not knowing there wasn’t one in there. I 100% think they are scamming people like this. Especially if it was custom ordered.

I purchased a supposed 100% Malaysian lace front from them. It took forever to get here, but I was okay because they said they were trying to match my texture. The color was way off, when I dyed it to match my hair, the hair turned black. Big flag. This hair is extremely plasticy. I know how to care for kinky curly as I have been wearing for years, but this is a hot mess. It is hard, in the back it doesn't lay down, it sticks out. I moisturize it and twist it every night, do not sleep in it and is horrible. I would have done better to by a $30.00 cheap wig, and I spent over 400.00. Do not buy from them

We feel there was a miscommunication. Please review the correspondence to evaluate if we provided timely services and products:

Time and Color
This was a custom order and six weeks can feel like forever sometimes when you are waiting and in need of your order. Unfortunately, the photo of her color provided when the order was placed was very different from the second photo given after the wig was made and too late for us to make any changes, please see attachment for reference.

Quality and Behavior
In regard to the behavior, we feel the hair has been processed too many times. FLW colored and textured the hair, upon receipt the client added a second color. The hair has a dark base and would have turned darker unless the hair was lifted to remove the color and new color deposited on top, either way, it would have caused any natural hair to become dry, brittle, and potentially damaged. It would have been good to use a natural color they usually sell them in health food stores or consult a stylist. I am sorry we were not able to change the color after production however a photo of color was given to the client and approved prior to final payment or shipment.

We will continue to work with our client to understand her needs and if we are unable to meet them we will gracefully advise we do not have the ability to give the service she deserves. Moving forward this will be our approach to every client. Client’s should not need to write on a complaint board.

We humbly regret our company has complaints but we understand after 10 years we need to always improve but we need to hear from you to do it. Please consider giving us a chance to resolve your concerns, let us know if our quality and service have changed, rather than having an unresolved complaint we can mutually reach a solution.

I ordered from them in early 2016 and the product was great. However, 2017 was an entire different story. When things go south they truly go south and this small mom and pop shop or the middle man can't afford for things to go south. Order straight from the manufacturer you have been warned.

Oh no! This is dishearting because we do not know the difference mentioned in the writing. Hair is an interesting fiber, every donor is different which makes every purchase different. Since God did not make two people exactly the same hair gathered from a village will be similar but always a little different.

To help serve you better, Send us a note of what you like so that we may file your expectations in your customer profile and pick a donor that will meet them or tell you we don't have it before we ship.

We have been in business over 10 years. There is an average of 1 complaint a year which we don't like but consider a part of doing business. If you have purchased with us please consider writing us 1st so we may do our best to address your concerns!

This is the most awful company to order from. I purchased a Brazilian human wig om 8/29/2016. I ordered the wig for my birthday which was on 10/15/2016. My wig was not ready. I was assured by Tina that my wig would be delivered to me on 10/28/2016. I sent an email asking was my wig still going to be delivered to me by 10/28 only to get a reply back stating that they would get back with me this afternoon. No one contacted me so I sent an email again and apparently they ignored it because no one has replied back. Do not do business with this company! They are liars and have horrible customer service!

It's a shame when a business owner has to lie in order to get your hard working money and in return give you the wrong product. The picture that I attached, is the wig they sent me and I pleaded with these so called "Christian" women. But this is not the first time this happen, a few years ago when I purchase a wig from them the distribution warehouse they switch to was stealing their hair and sending the customers dry hair lace front wigs and after some of the customers complaint about the quality of hair they sent me a better quality of hair and apologized. Of course they thought I was lying, because the Word says the way a man think in his heart so is he, because they are lairs. I am so angry that a vendor will literally lie about the customer to cover up their error, this has happen before. The only reason I ordered the product again from them was I thought they had corrected the problem. I will never and I truly advice anyone that is reading this review not to ever purchase anything from these fake Christian people, what goes around comes around and they are not going to go to far with individuals that are accustomed to good quality products. I cannot waste my time arguing with Fine Lace Wigs, they are beneath me. If they have to lie to get a few dollars, apparently they are not doing good. And as God is my witness it's going to get worse for them for blatantly stealing my money, because I threw the wig in the garbage. I would not be caught walking into corporate America with that dry-up wig. And the wig was less than a month old looking like a $15.00 dollars wig instead of a $254.00 dollars wig. My daughter is a graduate of AVEDA Institute, which is one of the best Cosmetologist schools in the world, but of course they don't know nothing about that. I am finish with this discussion, do not let Fine Lace Wig take your money and in return give you the awful product they are selling. They need us we don't need them. There are other reliable retailers that stand by their products and they don't lie just for the heck of it. Flawless Hair in Southfield, Michigan hair is one of the best hair I have seen thus far, whomever is reading this review should check them out and forget about washed out Fine Lace Wigs. Please find the website attached, this hair last over a year. FLW Response: What’s really unfair, The wig in this picture was not purchased from us! We pasted the actual message the client sent us which states " Of course this was not purchased at Fine Lace Wigs" she was showing us a photo of her daughters wig but it is posted with this complaint which suggests we sold it to her.

Unfortunately this complaint was filed because we were not able to replace a used wig. It is unfortunate that we were not able to reach a place of agreement. The client wore the hair for weeks before she contacted us to return the unit.

We spoke with the client and she stated she was going to purchase a different wig in a few weeks because the unprocessed virgin wig she purchased lasted a year and although this wig was natural it was too much maintenance.

Last year we replaced her wig however after trying a different texture we are unable to extend the same service this year. All wigs should be returned for exchange prior to application.

In response to this complaint, We are willing to send you photo of your hair before we ship for approval. We check it but if you want to check it too, Just send us a note!

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to improve!

I have attached the Malaysian curly hair that my daughter purchase and it does not look like the hair I have. Of course this was not purchase at Fine Lace Wigs. But the picture of the Lace Front Wig I ordered from you guys, does not look like the wig I order and the wig you sent me. The wig you sent me is a natural kinky hair and I don't want it, I want what I ordered.

I purchased a Lace Front Malaysian Curly wig from Fine Lace Wig on 12/12/2015 and I was excited about receiving it, because I knew after looking at the picture I was going to be looking great for Christmas. I did not receive it until 12/22/2015, which did not bother me. The packaging was great and I was happy, but when I took the wig out, it did not look like the picture. My daughter is a cosmetologist and she said mother that wig is over processed, but I just wanted to wear my new lace front wig. I always wash my wigs before I wear them, because it's unhealthy to wear someone else hair and you really don't know how clean it is. Well that's when my nightmare began, the hair was noted and I notice a lot of black dye came out of the hair and to my recollection this was supposed to be virgin hair and the darkest brown color. I paid $254.15 for that piece of crap and I could not believe that they call themselves Christians but they are nothing but shysters robing people of their hard earn money. I should have learned my lesson back in [protected] when I purchase my second lace front wig from them I had the same problem and they gave me the run a run, but eventually they corrected that problem. Well this time they are not correcting it after I sent them the picture of the wig. I have always pride myself in supporting black businesses, but I am done. I cannot continue to deal with unprofessional business practices, at the end of the day they have lost a valuable customer.

Please note the system the customer purchased was a AS IS floor model. The system was exactly as pictured as the system the client purchased was used in the pictures. Because the system shipped was the system used to take the photos the appearance of the unit may have appeared handled but we would never send a consumer a used product. Please note we are always willing to resolve any concerns, please allow us the opportunity to communicate and reach a mutual solution. Emails are answered within 24 hours and Customer Service is available daily from 9:00 to 5:00 p.m.

We have improved our boxes so they are not crushed during the shipping of the system which will help insure the presentation of the hair is not altered during the shipping process, We also recommend Organix products to insure the hair is not dry which will cause tangling lastly please note if your desire is to return you system it must be returned within in 3 business days and must be in the exact condition without being cut or altered! Thank you guys, this is truly sad. we are prepared to work hard and pay for quality hair not sheep hair. I am researching a good company to buy my 22 inch first human hair lace wig but all seem to have negative reviews.

I agree! Catina is a whole other person after she gets your money. Fine Lace Wigs has no concept of good customer service. They botched my order, missed the promised ship date, and alerted me there was an issue on the day I was supposed to have my unit in my hands. I explained to her the sensitivity of the time frame, as well as express my concerns on making a transaction of this amount $571.00 USD, and after all of that reassurance, Catina failed to do as promised, and then got indignant with me when I wanted my money back. She is unaccountable, unreliable, and unprofessional. Please take your business and money else where. This one is not worth the hassle.

I also purchased a wig from this company...
1. I ordered human hair--> but the wig was a synthetic human blend with tons of black strands.

2. Quality of the hair is Gravely poor...wig looked NOTHING like the picture

3, hair color advertised was not what i asked for.

4, Im experiencing awful tangles which require me to bleach bath.

I absolutely would never order from this lady again.. (its a home business)
It was a waste of 400
