Fidelity Investments ira / death benefits

Fidelity, after two months of calling them, and asking for how to proceed with filing for benefits after the passing of my mother, has now informed me that they are opening an account in my name, and when that is complete, I might then receive a letter about how to access my account.
I thought only Wells Fargo (illegally) opened accounts without the knowledge of those they opened them for, maybe they are associated.

I ***NEVER*** authorized them to open an account in my name.
They do not have my signature on anything authorizing the opening of an account.

The representative insists that this is the only "Legal" way to process a claim (opening an unwanted, undesired account). I explained to her how I went through the exact same thing with a Prudential IRA, except with Prudential, I called them, they sent me a form, I filled it out authorizing them to deduct and pay federal and state taxes, and had the balance deposited to MY PERSONAL account (not Prudential) within a week.

They have promised over and over to send me information in the mail, or call back. They have not called back, and have not sent me anything in the mail. This has been going on since the third week in July.

The only contact I have had FROM Fidelity investments was an email to a "Customer Satisfaction Survey" that is designed from the start to only allow people who are inclined to leave a positive review to leave one.

Fidelity - 100% Fraudulent.

Fidelity Investments employee retirement plan

Peter Windsheimer
[protected]@comcast.net

I accidentally enrolled into Fidelity's Employee Retirement Plan by just wanting to browse and could not cancel enrollment to the plan. Now I am told that the money they have taken is locked. I feel like this money was stolen from me and I can't get it back until I turn 59. I cannot afford such luxuries like a retirement plan and they have hijacked my money.

Fidelity Investments pension

I have a pe sion thru Northrop Grumman. I was made aware that fidelity was now taking over their pension plans. I called to start the process for receiving my pension payments at the end of August. The first representative I spoke to confirmed my pension but said I needed to call back September 2nd or after to get everything set up for my first payment in December. When I called back, the next representative now says that they don't have me as qualifying for my pension. They could see the correspondence from Northrop Grumman with the amounts but now they say I'm not eligible. They then said the first rep would call me back. Today I received a letter from Fidelity that I need to get a copy of my detailed earnings report from social security or they will consider me not vested! It will cost me $115 to get this report from social security to then mail to them to get benefits that I'm due!

Fidelity Investments fidelity

My wife got a phone call on Tuesday 9-6- 2017 That a technician was going to come and install our Internet and modem the next day between one and five in the afternoon . This morning my wife woke up to two men in our home unannounced from Fidelity knocking on her bedroom door while she is home alone with our one-year-old daughter . I am very unpleased with the invasion of privacy from these two technicians. They were not there at their schedule appointment time . They were there for 4 amd a half hours early without acknowledging that to me or my wife .they told us they were going to be there between One in five not eight in the morning . Not to add they somehow got into our apartment and got access to come inside without our knowing . I would really like to be assured that this will not happen again . Thank you, Hunter marks

Fidelity Investments hurricane harvey horrible customer service/please pull call

On August 28, 2017 in the midst of a hurricane I called Fidelity customer service requesting a quicker method to receive my anticipated funds for my tuition assistance because it was mandatory evacuation for the county that I lived in because we were about to be hit by a hurricane. The first representative I spoke with was Kathy Brass, she stated after speaking with the supervisor there was nothing they could help me with. I am in school & I requested funds for tuition reimbursement in which I was approved. However, I live in Brazoria County, Texas & we were told to evacuate for a hurricane that was headed our way, well I contacted Fidelity asking if there was any way possible to alternate the paper check for an ach to my checking account because there was no possible way I would get the paper check coming by mail because the postal office is closed & the location on my PO Box is completely flooded, in other words o can't get that check, please help. I was transferred to a resolution manager by the name of Karen Medzorian. Right now at this moment I am writing a complaint to Fidelity when I should be preparing for a hurricane. There are no words to describe the rudeness, nonchalant, no compassion & mocking that I had to deal with talking to Karen Medzorian. It's one thing that this company could not assist me with something so small & simple, but for a customer to have to deal with such horrible customer service. Please see the attached pictures confirming the mail service is down & it will be days before the check will be received. For a company that issues monies daily I'm more than sure there were other options for me. Please follow up with me regarding this complaint. This is not a company I want to continue doing business with I will speak with my employer for other options. Thank you. Latisha Guillory [protected].

Fidelity Investments unauthorized cash transfer from higher yield funds to low ones

We've been with fidelity for over 30 years with majority of our money in Money Market funds. all my children have account with fidelity now. We used to have very busy working schedule and never looked at the accounts carefully until July 19, 2017.

Fidelity representatives never bring up higher yield Money Market funds to our attention so we were basically getting near zero yield. I recently discovered higher yield funds for high cash balance accounts so I started transfer money from Lower ones to the higher one.

But the cash I put in higher yield funds has always been pushed back to the lower yield funds. I thought I might have done something wrong so I moved the money again. But the cash was REDEMPT back to the low yield funds the next day. After a few times of tug-of-war I called Fidelity. They told me some algorithm implemented long time ago does that automatically for accounts like ours.

As a result, I didn't get any interest for the large cash in the Money Market funds for the month of July and part of August when I began moving cash to higher yield funds. I asked Fidelity if they could make up the dividend/interest I lost during the period the money being pushed back and forth, they said "NO".

I think Fidelity is effectively stealing money from our accounts by doing this. But there is no place to escalate the problem.

Fidelity Investments hardship withdrawal

My name is Veronica Henriquez and I had requested a hardship withdrawal from Fidelity investement for funeral services. I have called from July 24 and then July 31 to do it. I was told I needed to send the invoices which I did. Then that the paperwork needed to be notarized, then translated into English, then that the currency needed to be dollars which it is. Every day a different request and did ALL. Last Friday 8/4 I was told that I needed just to translate the receipt and that was it. I called Monday 8/7 and I was told they had everything they needed and that it was processing and that probably by Thursday I could have the funds in my checking account. Today 8/8 I called to verify everything went ok I was told that there has been a mistake and that can not give me MY MONEY $1000 because of time on the receipt, because of this and that. I have been giving wrong information for a week. I don't believe it. I would like to escalate this and have it resolved. I need the funds in my account by THursday as I am counting with this money. I paid for the translation last week. Wrong information for over a week with 8 different representatives I don't think so.

Fidelity Investments customer service nightmare

About a month ago I signed up for a monthly membership with a carwash vendor. 3 weeks after signing up for the service the vendor was already billing me again. I spoke with the vendor and since we could not come to an agreement I requested my money back and a cancellation of that membership. They flat out refused. I therefore called the bank and asked them to cancel that transaction. The person I spoke with give me a whole song and dance about the fact that the bank will conduct a thorough investigation of the whole matter, including that someone will contact me to get my side of the story and return my money to me. However a week or 2 later I received a letter from the bank written by someone named Mary Ann Merkel notifying me that: "since the merchant is providing the service for which I am being billed, we are unable to assist you with this dispute. By giving them your account number, you have authorized them to bill your account for any money owed. At this point, the 30 day time frame has past[sic] and the money is due to the merchant." That was insult number 1. That statement if I did not know any better, I would think it came straight from the vendor, as though the bank was representing the vendor's interest in this dispute.
I called the bank as soon as I received this letter. It was then 3:30PM Friday the 14th. The recording informed me that this person literally maintains banker's hours and leaves at 2 PM. By then 2 weeks have gone and to think that I have refrained from using that carwash service anticipating that my money would be returned to me. Now I needed somebody to tell me whether I would ever see that money again, otherwise I needed to hurry up and use that service. I therefore called customer service. I spoke with a gentleman who kept telling me that he could not do anything to help me, and would not even allowed me to put in a second request for my money back. I asked them to speak to his supervisor. He left and came back after awhile to inform me that they were too busy for a supervisor to come to the phone and talk to me. That was insult # 2.
I waited until Monday to call the author of that letter. I have already called her more than 4 times since 8 am that her voicemail says is her normal schedule and I cannot talk to her. And that was insult # 3. That's my quota on how much insult I would accept from anyone I entrust my money to.

Fidelity Investments customer service and misconduct

I have been with Fidelity investments for awhile now and haven't had any problems such as recently. The rudeness and unprofessionalism of the reps and them not wanting to allow me to speak with management or anyone of authority. I was placed on hold for at least 15 mins without any follow up. I called back and spoke with another rep who handed me over to an assistant name Sonia Chapman claiming to be the final authority on the situation. She rudely stated that I can take my business elsewhere as if I didn't matter or my "black life" didn't matter. I know the treatment is because of my race she spoke in a derogatory tone as if I meant nothing. She would not allow me to speak with anyone else and stated the only person available was the person who signed her check and that information could not be provided to me. This was very unprofessional and there's no possible way to have an employee on staff as unprofessional as Sonia, with all the layoffs within this organization.

Fidelity Investments account

I had my fidelity account linked up to my venmo account-a friend of mine had sent me $200 for rent and venmo froze my account in turn, fidelity completely turned off my account without warning, and the remaining money in my account? they kept it, represitative tried to tell me it had been spent, however I know for fact that I had money in there as I had checked only an hour or so prior (And hadn't made any purchases with it in the past 48 hrs) due to this-im now facing homelessness as I wasnt able to pay all of my rent
this is truly an outrage I can't believe this is happening!

Fidelity Investments pension

I was scheduled to receive my pension beginning June 1st from Northrop Grumman, which is now managed by Fidelity as of April 1st.
Fidelity claimed they didn't have any of my info and thereby has continued to delay payment and lie every step of the way due to one mistake after another in the part of Fidelity and Fidelity only.
I have talked to numerous people within the company and not one has told me the truth, nor have I managed to get the same story twice from anyone.
This is THE most mismanaged, incompetent bunch of people I have ever encountered!
This is now June 26th...My story began at the beginning of May and I still don't have my money.
My case was escalated to Vicki Moua and she assured me that my first deposit would take place direct deposit today, June 26th. After not seeing it in my account, I called and found out she lied. Someone named Catherine Harrington just told me I won't get my money until July 10th in the form of a check being mailed.
I have a house hangIng in the balance and I needed this money deposited when it was supposed to be on June 1st. I've got nothing but runarounds, lies and excuses from every person involved. Total and utter incompetence every step of the way.
This is the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with! Shame on Northrop for trusting Fidelity with any business dealings whatsoever!
I'm contacting Northrop Grumman HR department and the Better Busimess Bureau along with my lawyer.

Fidelity Investments xiv shares purchased.

I purchased several shares of XIV at Fidelity towards the end of March, and I am still a customer of Fidelity...what they have done to me is not only illegal but discraceful. They closed my account without my knowledge (or any of the broker's knowledge on the morning of April 27th, 2017. That's right, THEY CLOSED THE ACCOUNT OF A PAID CUSTOMER. About the middle of April I wanted to buy aprx 250 more shares of the XIV so I took advantage of their program which allows a client to get a good fill on shares and wire monies later. I was given a definite deadline of April 27th by 4pm eastern time to get $5900 into my account. Mr Brian Douglas and Johnathan Coe (both experiences brokers) left me a voicemail stating that 4pm this day was my deadline. Mr Douglas spent about 20 minutes talking to me around the 25th of April and told me I must meet that deadline. He absolutley promised me a 5 day extension. which every conversation is recorded. I absolutely liked about this. I really didn't need the extra time and I wanted to to get Fidelity the monies ASAP so I wired $8, 575.00 at 9am the morning of the 27th of April. I found out the next day, that FIDELITY ILLEGALLY CLOSED MY ACCOUNT ON THE VERY SAME DAY ABOUT THE SAME TIME THAT I HAD WIRED THE MONIES. It takes aprx 1-3 hours for the monies to hit my account but Fidelity already closed my account AND SENT THE MONIES BACK TO ME. WHAT COMPANY SENDS MONIES BACK TO YOU!? Remember, too, I am already a paid customer and already had shares paid for in my account. The SEC says that if a customer does what is called a free ride and NEVER sends in the monies, that Fidelity can liquidate shares and they can then FREEZE the account for 90 days...NOT CLOSE IT! I had a $3800 profit when they closed the account and FIDELITY ACTUALLY STOL MY $3800 PROFIT..and left me with a closed account that I have no access to. They said I cannot check the progress of my shares online...which is very frustrating to say the least. I wrote tto their top executives and they said basically tough luck...we are not sending you your $3800 profit. By the way, XIV went way up after and before that period and I would have pocketed another $3-4, 000 because of the great fill I got in the middle of April. I called several supervisors asking for emails...and they stated that it is their policy TO GIVE OUT NO EMAILS. I got a call from a supervisor (remember all conversations are recorded) just a day or so ago, asking me to "take my business elsewhere, and to liquidate my paid shares...this is all on their recording." Fidelity is in fulll violation of their own written posicy and the SEC and FINRA. All supervisors I spoke to said I AM NOT A CUSTOMER EVEN THOUGH I have an active account number with paidf shares of the XIV. I do not know what to do at this point.

Fidelity investments closed my account even though I have paid for shares in there...this is illegal and against SEC and FINRA regulations. When they liquidated my shares and closed my account they stole the $3800 in profit which they need to send to me immediately. Two brokers lied to me...brian Douglas and Johnathan Coe when they left voicemails and Brian Douglas documented the record in writing that I had till 4pm eastern. that I have until 4pm eastern on the 27th of April and when I wired in the monies on the morning of April 27th...Fidelity a few minutes later had ACTUALLY CLOSED THE ACCOUNT SO THAT THE MONIES COULD NOT HIT THE ACCOUNT. This is against SEC and FINRA regulations which state the worse you can do is freeze a client's account for 90 days IF they do not send in the monies. I SENT THE MONIES AND FIDELITY SENT THE MONEY BACK. WHAT COMPANY SENDS MONEY BACK? I wrote to a top exec with no response at all...and all supervisors admit that I have paid shares and an active account and still will not allow me to sign into my own account...I HAVE BEEN TREATED LIKE A PIECE OF DIRT when I have done absolutely nothing wrong and wired my monies in before their 4pm deadline. The XIV went way up and I lost the great spot i had which means I lost an additional $3-5, 000 I want them to send my $3800 profit immediately...and allow me access to my active account. The supervisors I spoke to will do absolutely nothing and refused to give me any email addresses. One supervisor called me asking me to "take my business elsewhere and to liquidate my shares" THIS IS ALL RECORDED...IT IS DISGUSTING AND TERRIBLE BUSINESS! account x69827177. jsemonian@yahoo [protected]

Fidelity Investments pension funds payout

Fidelity Investments abhorrent handling of pension payout.

I have not received my company's pension payout handled through Fidelity. It's been 3 months. When the timeline for payout came and went, (2 1/2 months) and I hadn't received the check nor any notification of its arrival, I started calling Fidelity. Every day I call (Their reliability in calling me back is abysmal) with no results or updated information as to the now 2-week overdue payment. They don't seem to have a grasp on their distribution process nor show any sense of urgency in accommodating my concerns with lack of payment. Their ripcord excuse is that the bank that distributes the funds, State Street, is looking into it and they are waiting to hear back from them. Stall tactics and finger pointing. I'm at a loss. Maybe my company's ethics Dept. Would be interested in how one of their subcontractors is treating their employees who retired in good standing.

Fidelity Investments account withdrawal has taken 3 weeks, more than 10 days

Incomplete communication and direction by fidelity investments regarding my withdrawal. It has been delayed over 3 weeks. I've spoken with at least 4 customer service reps and have been told a different issue or cause of the delay each time and that it has been resolved. I am not employed and because of this delay I am delinquent on several of my bills and expenses. Fidelity Investments fidelity investments is a giant rip-off!!!

Fidelity Investments charged us over $835.00 & change a year in fees for managing $55, 000 to $66, 000 on average for a decade. Do the math, its a large scam ! Always promising to improve the portfolio. :) Every 4 months they subtract over $200.00 & change from your retirement account even when it tanks in market value. WARNING ! GO TO LOW OR VERY LOW FEE 401K's or 403B's instead. SAVE YOUSELVES A PILE OF MONEY & HEADACHES !

Fidelity Investments unexpected loss in spite of sharp markets increase

Dear Fidelity,
Until 09/01/16, my balance was OK and in accord with the market trend. Not after 09/01/16. After this day, my balance sharply decreased in spite of sharp increase in all markets. I understand that my asset allocation contains 46% of bonds and they decreased. On the other hand, market was increased in last 3-4 months about 10% and it should at least compensate my loss from the bonds. Please, 1. Send me the written explanation of my loss for the last 4 months of 2016: 2. Change my asset allocation: a/ decrease bonds to 30% and increase domestic stock to 30%.
