We went to Father's Choice because we thought it would be less expensive, and figured they would help us represent ourselves in court. We made it very clear that it was a time-sensitive issue, and that we had to have all this done by a certain date, otherwise all our efforts would be useless (before the school year started). They promised to do all those things, but of course they charged us, and were afterward nearly impossible to get ahold of. What kind of business constantly has a busy signal? When you finally do get ahold of someone all you get is a run-around. They sent incorrect documents that the court clerks said were legally nonsensical, and said although they can submit them, it won't do anything but waste time and money. We spent more than $1, 600 and it broke us for months to come!! We are still suffering because of this scam several months later. We went to court and turns out we were totally unprepared, the judge never read the documents we submitted, and where is Father's Choice?? They also continued to charge our bank account $50 a month every month after, but we couldn't get ahold of them to cancel the subscription...we had to close that bank account. They completely wasted our time, ripped us off, and then disappeared. Now all the numbers we had for them are disconnected. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!! Save your money and see a lawyer. Do your own research...these people will only hurt you. It is very depressing to know that there are massive scams set up like this to prey on people's emotional and urgent situations...as if custody battles aren't stressful enough. Also...if you happen to have found them...post the number so I can call and try to get my money back!!!
