Purchased a used 2010 G37s Coupe in late August 2014...After making the deal and was originally going to have the car delivered from there office in Toronto to st, john's, Newfoundland was first told by "Nick" salesman it would take about 1 week at a cost of around $1, 000...So I called the transport company and was told it could take 2 weeks or longer...So I decided my girlfriend and I well fly to Toronto and drive the car back home to Newfoundland...This is when it went down hill left with the Infiniti G37 with 45, 000klms and was going to take my time and drive home...not long after noticed driver hid projector headlight was not working and had moisture inside the lens...took it back they came back and it was working(not sure what needed fixing bulb or ballast) since it was late we decided we'll leave in the morning..well started hearing what I thought was front wheel bearing..went back went for a drive with nick driving said it sounds like wheel bearing..delayed again given a loaner car it turned out the tires were junk...talked on the phone was told it's done asked what did they do..nick tells me 4 "new tires" were installed but the front and rear had different tire makers...I told him no way after spending $30, 000 did I want 2 different tire brands..he said they searched everywhere and of all Toronto being a Saturday he couldn't find 4 matching...So being that its a rear wheel drive I accepted it...So after a day and half of driving I was in new Brunswick getting a wheel alinement on the car it was pulling a little to the left...mechanic calls me in garage to show me he can't do alinement due to the 2 front tires had side wall bulges and was told needed 2 new tires talked to nick then the owner let mechanic explain whats up and they replaced 2 new tires but not tell next day as the tire size and brand to match the rear were being shipped overnight...owner was not happy he had to spend $700 for 2 tires being there 19" and I'm thinking ya right if we were to have a blowout on the hwy what our lives meant nothing..it was then talking to the owner faraz he tell me we used 4 good used tires..nick should not have told you they were new...I told him I would have payed the difference back in Toronto if I knew they were used..any way we made it home...Earlie Oct/2014 I started hearing a whine in the transmission(6 speed manual) made appointment at Infiniti in st, john's and it was confirmed it need new gear box which was covered under Infiniti warranty and it also needed a new driver side headlight...as the light had water droplets inside the housing...Infiniti warranty does not cover headlight so I told service rep I had aftermarket warranty that I paid over $2000 at time I bought the car that nick said covers everything...well to find out no they don't cover headlights...so no way was I going to spend $1500 to the dealer..light was still working it had the water inside and they go by there TSB(tech service bulletin)when there is water droplets replace...So it is now Feb/2015 car has been in storage since November...so i went to put car up on 4 jack stands to get the rims painted I decided to remove the driver headlight and see whats going on...well turns out who ever hacked in the back of the light installed after market HID set and didn't use factory ballast...the problem was when they changed the bulb plug to aftermarket they drilled a 1 inch hole on the light cover and used silicone and there was a hole in the silicone...phoned faraz got no where texted nick explaining what was done to the headlight and also sent pictures...to this day almost 2 weeks nothing..no phone call or any reply...buyer beware...when we went to faraz the first day they were all hand shakes nice to see you...but I was pissed knowing the crap tires they used and to think what could have happened or if I waited 2 weeks or more to have it delivered it would of had crap tires...burnt out light...I would never deal with them again

Holy crap. Considering a vehicle i saw listed on Kijiji by Faraz.
Kinda worried now. I hope they have no issues with me getting a full inspection.
I can't risk spending 60, 000 on a lemon.
Anybody know who they use for warranty? Sounds like a bad company?
Anybody know who sells the best extended warranties for used vehicle purchase?
I don't want to fight for every claim!

I bought a Mercedes ML63 AMG from Faraz auto and i can only say one thing...i had a VERY VERY positive experience with them. Nick at the sales was very professional and replied to ALL my email requests. The place belongs to father and sons and while the father is an old style kind of stingy the boys are just AMAZING. I took my car back to them cause i wanted to replace the rear brakes and my local mechanic couldn't do, they replaced them no questions asked and gave me a rental for the day as well. Later on i noticed that Mercedes benz (lazy ###) didn't remove a lien on the vehicle 1.5 after purchase so i called Nick and lien was removed an hour later. Being 52 years old i have bought dozens and dozens of cars and Faraz auto will be my dealer of choice from now on.

Worst used car dealer in the GTA. Beware you will be scammed. I tired to buy a white g37 once and Nick told me I had to purchase the car before any test driving is done because he doesn't want to take the car out and get it dirty? He lied about the packages and everything. If you are ever unfortunate enough to buy a car from fahraz at least make sure you are getting what they claim you are getting. I was so close to putting a deposit and once I found they lied about one thing I just walked out.

I bought Nissan Sentra while Faraz was operating at old location. I just drop at their business facility with no reference or follow up from anyone. I found them very friendly and courteous. Of course after some price adjustments I bought Sentra. Touch wood that turned out to be an excellent choice. At that point I was told they are planning to move to a new location. But that was than.
Recently I was shopping for Mercedes ML350 and I told my wife let's give another shot at Faraz Auto dealer. And guess what we ended up buying another vehicle from them. I found out they are more mature in their dealings with their customers. Now they carry more selection of luxury vehicles and they showed me a good understanding and knowledge of Inventory they carry.
Of course they are in used auto business and I believe the trick is buy auto that carry manufactures warranty or buy additional warranty to protect yourself from disappointments.
Good Luck FARAZ.

How unfortunate... I was really interested in a vehicle that Faraz Autosales has for sale. In all reality, used cars/used car dealerships are a dime a dozen in 2015. I will choose to take my business to a dealer who doesn't have to spend so much time defending the hundreds of complaints about them. It seems for every complaint, "Ali" has an answer.. Defending themselves of course, and never taking responsibility for their mistakes. I especially liked the one about the R8. OF COURSE it wasn't an employee of Faraz...

Hello Faraz Auto Sales

I have spent some time reading the reviews and as a leader in the customer service industry I am neutral about purchasing a car from your dealership. Ali does a fine job replying to these customers post with solutions. I find there's a lot of negative post but it would be interesting to compare your volume of purchases versus your complains.

Nevertheless I am interested in purchasing a bmw x5 diesel. Are you open on Sundays?
This purchase would include a trade of my very own bmw 3 series with 23, 000 kms. So it would be an understatement if I was to say I want a well working vehicle.

My name is Ron and I can be contacted via email at ronnellraj@yahoo.ca or cell [protected].

Let's set up a meeting and a test drive of your x5.

Over to you Faraz auto sales.

Good day this msg is for Pattie Cake,

Im sorry about your experience, As a professional in the industry we did our best to accommodate you, even in doing so we were willing to bring the car to you even though you said you were not ready to make a decision. We are known not to be pushy to our clients to purchase vehicles to give them a sense of comfort and trust, We were still willing to accommodate you if the vehicle was not sold during the week and bring to you so you view the vehicle and compare" My staff and I were willing to drive 2.5 hours to show you the vehicle in Perry Sound, We did act professional and respectful to you and you family ahead of time and let you know that the vehicle had sold, in the used car industry its a first come first serve basis, if you had interest in the vehicle you would have made a attempt to view it and leave a deposit to hold, on a customer service level we did everything that we can. We cannot turn away another customer based on the possibility of another buyer choosing to purchase the vehicle. We showed you respect by contacting you the same night to let you know that the vehicle was no longer available.
We wish the best of luck car shopping and hope you found the right vehicle for you
Thank you kindly

What ever happened to taking a man for his word. Nice work Ben ( if that is your real name). After a few e-mails and phone calls we were looking forward to test drive a Toyota Tacoma on Saturday only to confirm a time (on Friday afternoon) and be informed the truck had been sold. A phone call to let us know the situation ( we should have had the opportunity to buy on the spot as well) would have been the decent move. To know this is how you treat people, I am sure glad we did not do business with you. We will spend our money elsewhere as you seem to be doing so well. Keep up the good work... FYI good customer service goes a long way, just saying...

Good day Wayne D.(Wayne721

Ali has informed me that you have been experiencing some issues. You had mentioned that you had tried texting me. I have never given out my cell phone number to any customer so I wouldn't have had a means of receiving a text from yourself. If you had texted the office land line number we would not have the ability to receive that.

In terms of issues, we had never been informed about any issues you have been experiencing, so that we could assist you. The last time we spoke you we're having problems with your tires and to rectify the issue we had compensated you for your hotel cost and the tire costs to satisfy your concern. After which we had not heard back from your regarding any other problems or concerns, so we would assume that everything is fine and you are enjoying your vehicle.

As for your gear box, we were unaware of any manufacturer's defects and are not able to control wear and tear as such. Thus why the manufacture has rectified the issue. As for the lights, we had the purchased this vehicle from Nissan Financial, as you were aware it was an off-lease vehicle. Nissan/Infiniti had not notified us of any concerns or identified problems the lights, and we ourselves would have no way of identifying that the lights were aftermarket. As for your light bulb it can burn out at any time. It could happen the next day or years later.

We have at every step of the way tried to help you and even compensated you for not only the vehicle expense but including your hotel and meal costs. We sold the vehicle to you in good faith and at no time had any indication of problems with the headlights, as neither did Nissan/Infiniti nor yourself upon inspecting the vehicle in person.

Regardless we stand behind our company name and are here to assist through your troubles. This is the first that we have been notified of this since you have purchased the vehicle.

Please contact Nick or Ali @ [protected] or email ali@farazautosales.com

We look forward to assist and rectify your view and experience with our company.
We look at yourself and all of our customers as long term customers and chose to always be there to assist them.

Sincerely,
Nick Ghorishi & Ali Hemmati

In terms of your warranty all terms and conditions and coverage are stated if you weren't covered for any covered components that were listed I would defiantly step in to assist, but as for the lights, I have no control on product that was used with previous owner of the vehicle as you know the vehicle was off lease, As for tires that were put on prior to delivery I have a invoice from tire shop and licenced mechanic that changed the tires which were in good working condition, we did do our part to compensate you immediately to Canadian tire for the tires for replacement,

I bought a car from them, salesman stated no accidents or anything including giving us a used car history. Couple months down the road my mechanic told us car had to been in an accident. Farad auto sales most likely buys cars from auctions that are no good. If you are ever in the dealership look in the back they have a shop and fix all cars so they are just right for a couple months

I would like to RETRACT my previous comments! I have had a few bad experiences with other dealerships in the past and was quick to assume the worst. Rather than calling, I went in person to discuss my issues with the car. I should NOT have jumped to conclusions before going to see them, and now I'd like to apologize for that. Ali has been doing everything possible to help rectify my issues and leave me feeling satisfied with my purchase from Faraz Auto. After seeing the lengths they go for their customers I would not buy a preowned vehicle from anywhere else. And I will be referring anyone I know to them...It's the least I can do after posting a complaint without first making a proper effort to contact them.

Hello RToronto,

Looking upon the Internet I came across your complaint and
apologize for any inconveniences that you have encountered with the purchase of
your vehicle.

I would be more than happy to assist in rectifying or
finding an acceptable solution to the concerns and issues you are having with
your Mercedes. Whether that may be by assisting you with the repairs that you
have mentioned or I would even be willing to purchase the vehicle back from you
to gain your satisfaction.

Please allow myself and our company to rectify your
concerns, opinion and overall experience. As a family operated business we
strive to provide our customers with 100% satisfaction, and a positive used car
shopping experience. We do our due diligence prior to selling any vehicle by
purchasing a vehicle history report (Carproof & Carfax). We purchase and
place our trust in these reports to generally be a reliable indicator of any
previous accidents, damages, police
reports and theft/recovery data.

Once again I do apologize for your unsatisfactory experience
and would defiantly like to rectify your thoughts and leave you with a positive
outcome, as our customers’ satisfaction is critically important to us.

Please contact me at your earliest convenience so I may
assist or compensate you for expenses
incurred.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have tried to
enter a reply right after I met with you and again now. It is not
updating the board for some reason...this is what I am trying to post:
Today I decided to go into Faraz Auto Sales and talk to Ali about the
incident I wrote about yesterday. I was immediately greeted when I
walked in and Ali was able to see me right away. He apologized for the
incident and assured me that one of his immediate staff was not
responsible for such unacceptable behaviour. Having worked in the
automotive sales industry myself, I know that a vehicle can go through
many hands from the time it is purchased by a dealer until the time it
is delivered to a customer. Seeing the passion and conviction that Ali
spoke with I am sure that his staff was not responsible for the
incident. I appreciate the fact that Ali stands behind his brand and was
able to apologize for something that he was not responsible for
personally.

I would not hesitate to purchase a vehicle from Faraz. People need to do
their due diligence when making any purchase, especially a pre owned
vehicle. Ali's immediate response to my complaint completely satisfied
me and put me at ease that anyone he deals with in regards to preparing
their vehicles will never act in such a way again. Oh, and the gift
cards he provided were a nice touch!

I would just like to state a very IMPORTANT POINT TO PEOPLE READING ALL THE COMPLIANTS HERE. I am someone who has purchased two FAMILY vehicles from Faraz Auto Sales. When a person walks into a USED car dealership, you cannot EXPECT to get a BRAND new vehicle with absolutely perfect conditions... You as the customer are going in with the full KNOWLEDGE that you are buying a used vehicle. As a customer, Faraz gave me the option to take both vehicles to any of the preferred mechanics or even the dealership of the car itself... If any of you knew anything about buying a used car, you would do your research... And being in the car business myself, I have found that in many cases the dealership may not KNOW that the car was in an accident, especially the car proof it self does not show it. How is a dealer supposed to know that there was an accident on a car that had NO claims on it?!? before you people believe these claims, DO YOUR RESEARCH. If you are BUYING a used car you cannot EXPECT IT TO BE IN MINT condition. There will be problems there will be issues. I have bought new cars and used cars and I can honestly say that the new car gave me just as much problems as the used. People are so funny, they come into places expecting to pay barely nothing for a high end vehicle and they want absolutely no issues. Get a grip people and do your research. Faraz Auto has been nothing but polite and respecting to me and my family and I would buy a 10 cars from them if I could!
PLEASE take my word for it... You must do your research... any dealership is going to tell you that. And NO dealership is perfect, there will be mishaps.. it is a car in the end. It's a machine not a person.

Tina H family of 5!

So I decided to pay Ali a visit at Faraz. I was very interested in talking to him face to face about the incident the other day. He was very apologetic and passionate about Faraz Auto Sales. Having worked in the car sales business in the past I know that a vehicle can end up going through many different hands from the time a dealer purchases it to the time a customer ends up with it, so I do believe that an immediate employee of Faraz was not responsible for the incident. I like the fact that he took responsibility for what happened and was genuinely concerned about the negative impact that this incident could have on Faraz' business and reputation.

I would say our meeting was a positive experience. I was greeted immediately when I entered the showroom and Ali was able to meet with me right away. I would not hesitate to purchase a vehicle from Faraz. Cars are like any other purchase, the buyer must do their due diligence to make sure they are getting a quality as advertised product, that is especially true for the used market.

I am satisfied that the person who started this mess got what he deserved and how Ali cleaned it up. The gift cards I received were a nice touch. Take care Ali!

Good day, My apologies to the above
user, I would like to start by my sincerest apologies for the above matter and
to promise I will get to the bottom of this, as you are right and any
one driving our vehicles represents us. We have not had the vehicle in our position for the last three weeks as it has been with two
different mechanics performing its regular services. After reading the above
concern, I have contacted the service facilities and yes of course they all
deny such an experience. This is extraordinarily frustrating to hear of a
person not only joy-riding with one of our vehicles but also acting like a
childish fool while falsely portraying a representation of our company. We
strive so hard to maintain a respectful, courteous and gracious attitude to separate
ourselves in an industry which doesn’t have a great reputation to begin with. As
potential valued customer or potential future customer we would like to keep
your thoughts as positive as possible. I the manager at Faraz auto sales
express my up most apologies and can promise that I will not let this happen
again, please provide me with a mailing address so I can send you a gift
card, I appreciate your review because if you had not spoken out I would have not known,

Once more We at faraz auto sales
express our deepest apologies for your experience you incurred,
and will make sure it does not happen again with service tecs or employees or
anyone that is representing Faraz auto sales, as our reputation is very
important to us, if you like to send me a private msg on complaint board so we
can send you a gift card for your troubles and the inconvenience you incurred also any details of the persons description would be extremely
helpful in us determining who the responsible individual is in the above matter.

Thank you kindly

I have never bought a car from Faraz and I probably never will. I haven't had any business dealings with them personally, but, I did have a run in with one of their employees at the Smart Centre located at Weston and Hwy 7 in Woodbridge. To keep a long story short I was following a Red R8 coming out from Canadian Tire on my way to the CIBC. The single lane widens at the four way stop to allow vehicles to make a left while allowing vehicles to proceed straight ahead or make a right without delay after they have made their stop. The R8 is making a left as indicated by his turn signal and is waiting behind another vehicle also making a left. I squeeze by the R8 to get to the stop sign and make my right. As I drive by I hear the R8 honking the horn. I think nothing of it and clear the intersection and proceed to my destination. I get out of my car and I hear the R8 whipping through the parking lot. I start thinking to myself, wasn't this guy making a left? I cross the street to get to the bank and the guy in the R8 pulls up beside me and starts yelling at me. Don't you know that intersection is only one lane? You are a such a bad driver. I reply, you were making a left, I was making a right, what is the problem? As I keep walking to the bank he gets out of his car and yells, Do you know this car is worth over $100, 000? You came this close to hitting me! I reply, Did I hit you? I know how to drive, do you see any scratches on my car? He yells, I am from this area, I know that intersection it is only one lane. I reply, I am from this area too, you were making a left, I was making a right, what is the problem? I then go on to say, what is your problem anyway? It isn't even your car. He looks at me and says, not my car? I say, ya nice dealer plate. I start walking towards him. He kind of runs out of things to say and turns around and as he gets in the car he calls me a p***y and says something derogatory about the car I drive. I yell back, who is the p***y, you are the one who got back in your car and at least I own the car I drive. He speeds off and goes back in the direction of his original destination. Anyway, I suspect he went out for a drive when his boss wasn't looking and was so nervous driving the car that he snapped when I squeezed by him. If this is the type of person anyone will be dealing with at Faraz, I say stay away! As I wrote before, I have never bought a car from Faraz and I probably never will. Just a tip Faraz, any employee driving one of your vehicles is representing your brand. This guy just cost you a potential customer and cost you the business of anyone I know. He is also responsible for this review. Think twice about who you want representing your company, it's just not good for business.

I bought a Mercedes from them 3 months ago. My terms were that they fix a dent that was in the door (which the salesman agreed on). When I picked up the car it was still there! The salesman said he would make an appointment to have it fixed and to call him later that afternoon to get the date and time. I have made several attempts since then to call, but it's obvious that once you buy a car the receptionist is trained to say "sorry he is not at work today, but I can have him call you back..." Very frustrating! If you're not going to fix it, then be straight up about it! Also, some of the comments above are pretty accurate. They give you all the paperwork stating that the car has never been in an accident, but regardless if the accident was "claimed/reported" or not, upon close inspection you can tell bodywork was done. Also, after buying the car I noticed one headlamp was cloudy...shortly after the light burnt out. I went to Mercedes to have this fixed, and because it was "tampered" with, it is not under warranty. This will end up costing me $2000 to replace the whole headlamp unit from a melted sprocket! When you're paying $56k for a high end car, you don't expect this treatment from a dealership! You expect this treatment from a private sale at best.

WARNING! DON'T BUY FROM FARAZ AUTO SALES ! They are selling a cheap lemon cars with major defects and don't take the extended warranty for $2000 because does not work how they say. The cars which they are selling looks amazing and clean to cover major defect of engine, transmission, or power train. You get what you paid for! I bought once from them and never again!

I recently purchased a VW CC from Faraz Auto Sales. I found the best car for the buck in the GTA there. (out of all the CC's) Anyway Nick was very helpful throughout the whole process. The car is in excellent shape. Any issues I had were all taken care of. You can't check all the electronics in all these cars before leaving. You think you do. Anyway something came up with the electronics and they took care of it. Personally my CC was from a trade in, and not from a car auction. Let's face it, every one uses the car auctions. The cars in the back are generally the cars waiting to be brought up to safety and / or cleaned up. Nothing scary there. Peace

Good afternoon,
I apologize for the late reply as I thought the above matter had already been resolved. Unfortunately after 20 years in business we have experienced a customer that we were unable to satisfy. With our family operated business, we keep records and files on all of our vehicles. Our customer satisfaction is very important to us. We try to go above and beyond for all of our customers because we don't see our clients as one time buyers, but instead as long term respected customers to our business. In response to Ali786110, we genuinely apologize for your unsatisfaction for 3N1CD51D56L631542 it NISSAN SENTRA 1.8L Special Edition Sliver. In buying a vehicle from our company you were informed that the Car Proof was declared no accidents or damage. However we also informed you that based on our own due diligence and experience we identified that the vehicle door had been replaced. We also offered Mr. Ali786110 to have the vehicle inspected at any mechanic or Nissan dealer of his choice. Also in to response to Mr. Ali786110, he bought the car on MAY 1, 2011. On the bill of sale we disclosed and had Mr. Ali786110 initial that the vehicle had prior paint work from previously from the first owner, and the door was replaced. One year later in JUNE 2012, Mr. Ali786110 had brought back the vehicle with an additional 30, 000 km and asked us to take back the vehicle. He said that he was trading his vehicle for a Buick and no longer liked the Sentra. The dealer he was trading it to said they would give him $2500, so Mr. Ali786110 requested our help to do better. I, as the manager of Faraz Auto Sales, was more than happy to help out our old customer and bought back the car for $3000. I have attached a copy of the vehicles Car Proof, at the time the vehicle was purchased, for our viewers to confirm that there was no declarations of any accidents that we neglected to notify our customer about. And that we took extra initiative to declare the door being replaced and previous paint work.

Thank you

Ali Hemmati

I have seen enough comments to make me cautious about dealing with this auto dealer, I was considering a vehicle on kijiji ( 2009 bmw x5 ) until I checked this, the second complaint provides specific items as well as vehicle VIN. If the dealer is intent on salvaging this they should post the CARFAX report on this vehicle for everyone to see, if indeed there is no accident on the vehicle this will clear the matter, and it is up to the dealer to do this, otherwise this matter is open to interpretation.

I brought Nissan Sentra 2006 last year and salesman stated no accidents or anything including giving us a used car history. While driving I can feel car is pulling on one side, I did wheel alignments still I was not happy with car this year I tried to trade-in that car and dealer check car history and found out that car was from Quebec and they told me coz of Quebec car that need to do detail search on my car and give them permission then we found car as frame damage which they never told and Auction info this before sale this car was in other word scrap metal which they sold me for $7000.00 + Taxes. When I went back to Faraz Auto and showed car proof they want car back and give me only $3000.00 which I took it but I didn't know at that time that I can complain to OMVIC when I called them and told whole story as per them they suppose to return me my all money FARAZ AUTO is cheater and scammer. I was able to save one family hard earn money by telling them what happen with me and how much I lost and they took back their $500.00 from Faraz Auto after lots arguments with there salesman car which I return them they put for sale $5899.00 this car doesn't worth even $100.00 Car VIN # 3N1CD51D56L631542 it NISSAN SENTRA 1.8L Special Edition Sliver and I got run around for more then two week to get back my new rim and hubcap. I'll tell everybody not buy from fraudster and cheater.

BENT over backwards, I dont think so. Polite ..yes, Did everything I asked of them, prior to buying the car, and before it left the dealership. But 2 days after purchase, I attempted to get some additional help for my car. "yes sir, no problem, - I will make a call for you- I have ordered the part, it will be here in a few days. OR, can I take a message, he"s not here right now. The car was in good shape, perhaps I took them for grant it - Too fast. I should have checked the car, a little bit closer.. thats my fault. BUT bend over backwards AH NO ! Its like anything, with a used car dealer ... check it first, and have everything done to the car, before its leaves the building. OH ah, They will give you a line, "the deal isnt final, until your satisfied with the test drive" . You drive it, you own it.

They have a hoist where they change brakes and perform other minor mechanical repairs as well as washing the cars. Why do you make such silly accusations against a business without knowing the facts. I'm sick of reading reviews such as yours that tarnish a business's reputation just because you had a bad experience when buying a used car. Yes they buy cars from the auction as does EVERY other used car dealer. Next time maybe show your used car to a mechanic before you buy it. Also, if they gave you a used car report that showed Bo accidents, then that is all they had to go by too. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but I've bought 12 cars from them going back several years and if there was ever a dealership that bends over backwards to satisfy their customers, then Faraz Auto epitomizes that kind of customer service.
