Family Dollar pasta salad/ had bugs in noodles

I bought 3 boxes of pasta salad.. Ranch and bacon flavored...7.5oz... All 3 were sku 1230389... V-62356...0 [protected] 1... I bought the first box may 25, 2016... I cooked that box of pasta, the peas were hard but I did not notice any bugs... I assumed I over cooked the pasta... I bought 2 more boxes of that same pasta mix... I cooked the pasta and saw the little tiny bugs in it... I noticed the date on the box said best by feb 26th 2016. The 3rd box also had the same bugs in the pasta bag... Today june 1st... I returned the 2 boxes and the receipt for the 1st box I cooked and ate... I threw away the 2nd receipt by mistake. Family dollar would not exchange my pasta with bugs in it for something else. The last 4 boxes that were there when I bought my 2, over the weekend, were gone. I took a suddenly salad betty crocker box up front and the cashier said no refund or exchange because I did not have the first box or the receipt for the last 2 I bought.. Now I want my money back on all 3 boxes. I don't think it is fair the boxes were out dated and still on the shelf and I bought them all in one week. I would not lie for $3.90 cent... I am tired of being ripped off like that. I would shop else where if I could... Photos would not download... Check my facebook page... April d brown yuma az

They are called weevils. A common beetle type bug found in wheat and grain products. In the south, we keep flour, sugar and corn meal in the fridge to prevent the weevil eggs from hatching. There is honestly no way for any manufacturer to prevent this from happening. They mature when their environment get humid, so warm air will cause them to be active. Many things you eat have bugs in them, you just can't see them.

All I do when I see then in pasta, is scoop them out with my spoon, and continue cooking.

Most places won't return anything without a receipt, and most of the places that will are going back to the past where a receipt is needed. Too many scam artists have ruined it for all. Next time, keep the receipt. And keep your home temperature a bit cooler.

Family Dollar samsung phone

I purchased a phone from family dollar at 499 n. marion may 9th. I also purchased a 300 minute phone card. Ive only used 270 minutes and it tells me I dont have any time left. The girl working fri. morning 5/27 at 9am told me I had to have the box to get a refund. If we kept every box from the items in our house can you imagine what your house would look like. Their website says if you have the box, so apparently they arent training their employees. Ill never buy another thing from these rip-offs.

What is the name of the service on the phone card? THAT is the person you call for the minute problem, not the store you bought the phone at. No store will take back a cell phone without ALL original packaging. That is just how it works.

Family Dollar an employee named shannon.

Hi I been shopping at this Family Dollar for the past 6yrs and have seen employees and managers come and go . I work hard for my money and rarely get to get off work to shop. I frequent Family Dollar for all my household needs and grocery needs too!
There is a employee named Shannon that has such a big and rude mouth, she crossed the line when she spoke to a women's husband inappropriately. The wife heard her, and she went very lady like to Shannon who was running the register and I was next in line soo I heard everything.
The lady walked up and said "excuse me, please do not talk to her husband like that, everytime he walked in she has been inappropriate, like as if she "shannon"knows them or something"
As a hard working woman, and widow I totally agree with that young couple, because like I said I have been shopping there for years and have witnessed shannon be innappropriate to other customers there too before and this morning, and that is why I had to take time outta my day too make this complaint.
Thanks for reading and I just hope this reaches the right people too where she gets terminated from there.

Family Dollar not being a good neighbor

This Family Dollar is at 5802 Culebra Rd. San Antonio, TX 78228. Part of their mission statement is that they strive to be a good neighbor in the neighborhood in which they reside. Residents directly behind this store are requesting that Family Dollar be a good neighbor and put a fence up behind the store to help maintain a clean environment and to cut on some of the criminal problems in the community. Residents are willing to do their part and have requested Family Dollar to do the same only to be ignored. a lady named Arlene called one of the residents back to say they would contact the land owner and were working on getting a fence put up but that has not happened. We contacted the property owner who said in no uncertain terms that Family Dollar has signed a long term contract and it is their responsibility to put up the fence so there is no place to shift the blame and we do not plan to stop demanding the fence until someone pays attention.

Same experience of 'not being a good neighbor' here in Iron River, MI
They are putting up a new store next to me, and I thought 'OK, it will be like the Dollar General that went up a while back'. NOPE! House shaking and rattling at 11PM, works starting at 6AM. Sound like a good neighbor to you?
I will never, ever step foot in a Family Dollar for the rest of my life.

Family Dollar from the top to the bottom

I went to work today instead of working on the cash register, or stocking.She had me to do the one thing that known of the other would do.Manual labor i had to clean out from under all the store shelves .I found food for people and cats and dogs that had expired in 2013.I had one bag that contained more 50-60- thing that had been stole.But like she said she was not worried about any part of the store but the front.I went over threw yesterday 1 guy opened up him so chips and was walking around the store eating them, and 7 more people got away with things to But i could not say nothing even after i was told last year by someone in human resources .Sonya got in touch with team relations.The man she talked to was named John Alverez . He was suppose to be working on with someone to get my money i missed out on because she a black lie.Another thing she did while i was out of work she gave them all raises.I worked at that store before any of the part time and full time.I should have been got a raises but i have not.Sonya got 166 hours to work with this week--41.50 is how many she is getting, 36 for Nicol, asst.manger ANGELA-32 HOURS, Stephen part time got 26.50 and part time Tabitha got 27.50.She is doing exactly what she was telling her assit.

Family Dollar money owed to me, 3 hours, medical neglect

I just went back to work in March 4 HOURS one day i did 6 test that day .Sonya had something to say about that she act like i was suppose to finish more than 25 test in one day.i take my time to make sure i don, t make no mistakes.The following week i finished more than 18 test that day in 4 hours. i knew i had to take the test but that was last week.If i am a part time worker and all i got was 3 hours.The other part time workers don, t have more experience than me.i can stock that whole store by myself plus run the cash register.But there is one very important thing that Sonya all ready said she is not worried about the rest of the store but the front .Where the cash register are i went over there yesterday i seen 8 people stealing, one just took some chips off the small rack and was eating them while walking around the store.i had been tould by someone in the head office instead of telling them about it do something.i went over to the store one evening i got me a basket went around the store and filled that basket up with empty packages where people had stolen what was in them and i took them up to the counter.While i was up at the front Steven another kiss ### i tould him not to sell that book shelf radio because that was the same one i bought before Christmas and i did not knnnnnnow it had been returned before i got it .The cd player didn, t work, it was missing parts to it like the remote.Now it is back behind the counter Sonya will end up putting it up again just to wripe somebody else off.Sonya has big anger issue 3 or more times a day she loses her temper at someone .She needs anger mangement treatment.After the way she kept on me about my pin and ignoring me when i said i was still under doctor care thats where the charge of Medical Neglect come from

Family Dollar manager, security and thief

i went to pick up my hours for the up incoming week and it was like i was being told your fired again .She all ready had this planned to cut my hours so low till i just give up.My hours was cut to 3 hours to give the other part time and full time workers more overtime.My god sister was in the store when she was talking about it to another employee.I did not get terminated because of Sonya the store manger lies.Then get hired back to work for nothing because that is what 3 hours aint worth the time .How is 3 hours going to help me pay my bills?Buy me food to eat, Pay my medical bills?There is only going to be enough money left to buy my smokes.

I have been threaten by my old district manger Jackie, i was working and the new store manger came in and snatched my work that i was doing out of my hands.She told you don, t do nothing in this store unless i tell you.We was suppose to be going by the other manger Brenda hours she had down for us..Sonya was not suppose to touch anybody hours or make another schedule to the week was over with .But thats Family Dollars for you they see what they want to see, they never do what they tell you they going to do.The manger Sonya has threaten me by telling me that if i brought my phone to work she was going to fire me, she threaten me because i would catch thieves but no all she said she was worried about was the front of the store, Medical Neglect -i told her more than 10 times that i had loss my memory and was still getting treated for it .but she said she did not care and i better get my pin for the portal.She told me that for about a week then don, t come back to work till i have my pin.What she did not bother to tell me was that she could have went on the computer and help me either get my pin or make a new one;

Family Dollar getting fired without giving me no reason at all and causing me to lose 2 months worth of pay because of a lie

i work at store 185 in Kannapolis N.C. 28083.I have been there since June I was hired as a stocker under Brenda the manger at the time.she got fired for not giving drug test .Now the new manger Sondra King she has not done that or even mention it to any the employes .She got caught in her web of lies about why i got fired.She said it was because i didn, t come to work but was the one that tould me not to come back to work until i could remeber my password for the portal.She failed to tell me that she could or me could change it on the computer in the store.When i was stocking i did at least 5-6 u boats in a day and 3 pallets.She has lose total control of the store profits are down compared to when Brenda was manger, we never had to call in nobody from different stores to come and help stock the store.4 times she has let stock room get so filled till you barely had room to walk.Plus 3 times she has got freezer food which is suppose to be put up as soon as you get it.She have left it out more than 4 hours before she put it up.Now that me getting fired was over turned for her lieing in the first place .Tell me how is 3 hours going to pay my bills ?The other partime workers get over 20 hours a piece .Sonya is racists i learned that from the store she came from.She has got a whole list of compliants against her going all the way back to the store she came from.But i have not seen nowhere any action was taking against her.It is the same way in my probelm against her nothing was done.You all claim to be honest, fair, loyal to the employes, respect our privacy which is a lie when i talked to HR i got asked question that no one should have known.So who is leaking classified information out?This man name John of the family dollar team relationship told me that someone was working on getting me my money lost because of a lie

Family Dollar customer service

I visited my Family Dollar Store in Oshkosh Wisc. Only to be discouraged standing in line there was 7 people behind me, and one clerk to check out, When I asked her if she had help, she stated that the manager was unloading the truck, the store I work at has a rule, of 3 or more people in line you call for help, With all the store robberies that happen, most recent Green Bay Wisc. there should be 3 or more employees in the store .

Family Dollar drunk, vulgar employee

On January 20, 2016, while shopping in this store along with several other shoppers (children among them), I heard and saw and this drunken employee (Eddie) loudly state he was going to ask his girlfriend to perform oral sex on him for Valentine's day (I cleaned this up). This isn't the first time I've observed this old fool staggering around and being vulgar. I suppose he's supposed to be security of some kind. Since Family Dollar doesn't sell liquor, the only thing this stumbling old fool can secure is the chair he sits in. My wife and I shop in this store nearly every day, and have no other complaints. But, we'd rather shop elsewhere to avoid this pathetic loser.

Family Dollar expired pizza/rude manager

On January 2, 2016 I bought a tombstone supreme pizza from family dollar in utica ny on genesee St. When I got home I went to go make it for my family an the pepperoni was brown looking.. So I looked at the expiration date an it was dated august 31 2015. That's when I called the family dollar store to complain about my old expired pizza an I spoke with the manager of the store. She was extremely rude an did not know what to do about my problem an also told me they check there freezer's an stuff regularly... basically telling me theirs nothing they can do. Then when I got there the manager didn't know how to put money back on my card said she couldn't do it. An she gave a bunch of attitude about it saying she's not putting it back on the card. So an employee had then spoke up an told her that you can put money back on the card. The manager didn't want to but the little older lady working knew how she was the only one working that knew what she was doing .. That's seems the manager did nothing about it an should not have a job working with people or having another employee help her when she should be helping the employee's not the other way around. While the "manager" was outside the rest of the time I was there.. doing nothing not even her job as a manager helping a customer that did nothing wrong.

Family Dollar employees

News Flash for Drug addict jobs... Rural towns... South Carolina... just because these dollar stores hire low pay individuals does not mean they should continue to hire low class citizens. Is everyone in these stores addicted to something illegal? Is there no mandatory drug testing? Is this how they can continue to pay people such low wage... Feeding off of the local poverty stricken that have no aspirations? What a good business model! Or maybe you just realized that paying them more allows more drug use that might leave them incapacitated to work frequently. Either way, Too many pot heads and meth heads work in your stores. I know because they all try to hit me up for money until payday for their next FIX.

Family Dollar employee

So Rude (Tina) only one cash register open since I walked in and shopped for 45minutes. This employee accused me of phony coupons for 50 cents then she refused to give me sale price on pajama's for little girls @ 5.00 that was on the rack. I am not going to override this she stated. This was said in front of other employees and customers. The Manager did not do anything that's if she was a manager whose head stuck in the other cash register that was closed for 45 minutes. This employee need retraining or some form of professionalism or courtesy . She was nasty on Thanksgiving day (sorry she had to work that day) however, their are 1, 000 people waiting for her job. I work in H.R department who we would have fired that instance. I lost a sale and you lost a sale. Very unconformable going back! Nasty service. I told her to take it easy. But she kept on and on with her nasty comments. Please take care of this as soon as possible. Before that week the girls were so helpful in placing my salt in my car and take it out to the handicap parking for me. I was so impressed. But this lady was "insane" and the Manager did not step up to help. She probably didn't even get the register opened or going. At the most you would have lost $1.00 with all that i spend 3-4times a month! Wow. She was not performing brain surgery to be that stressed! Sonia E Gutierrez Ref [protected] SO ANGRY!

Family Dollar behavior of staff

I was in the Dollarama in Middleton Nova Scotia on Friday just before October 30, 2015 to buy Halloween make-up and decorations. After choosing the items I wanted to buy I waited while the cashier tried to sort out a problem with the lady in line in front of me as the cash register was not working. The young clerk at the register ended up calling a superior who also could not get the cash register to work no matter what was tried. By that time a line up of about five people had formed. The lady in the more superior position called someone else on her cell phone who was able to give instructions during some previous mishap(s), that person was not answering the phone. I asked (more than once) if they would take cash, the superior employee said that they could not because they would have to write it down in a journal and they could not do that. I then asked if I could leave the items I wanted to buy with them and then come back later to purchase them (there was only one item left of a couple of the things I wanted to buy and I didn't want them to end up being purchased by someone else). She said they could do that and she took the items and placed them behind the counter. I had no idea how long it would take them to fix the cash register but my feeling was it was going to take awhile. I went on my way and did other shopping etc.. I returned approximately 2 hours later, the cash register was working, I stood at the counter in order to purchase the items that were being stored and was told that "we put them back, you will have to go and find them", I said "you put them back?" and was told that yes they put them back... she said I had taken two hours and they needed the room behind the counter for supplies that had come in. Other than one decoration that was made to hang on a tree but still not that large and made of cloth material, the rest of the items were very small (Halloween make-up). I was annoyed at this but carried on my way to find the items I had been going to purchase, I did find all the items except one which was a specific kind of make-up that there had been only one left of, that item was gone, purchased by someone else. That is when I became irate and just as the superior was coming up the isle, I said to her that now the item was gone, that there had only been one and they had agreed to hold the items, I said I would return to buy them and I did return yet they had put them back. She responded by being (again) very snippy and saying that the manager had come in and needed room to put the supplies and told them to put the items they were storing for me back on the shelves. I don't necessarily believe that this was said to them but how am I to know. My items did not take up very much room behind the counter and what kind of customer consideration is that anyway? If their cash register had not been working with no apparent way for them to fix it at the time then I would have been able to purchase my items at the time, I did not get irate about that at all but I did about how I was treated when I returned to the store. All this superior employee did was talk down to me and be rude and dismissive, she said 'you can't please everyone" well I am not everyone and it was largely HER attitude that was causing me annoyance. She said I could go to the Pharmasave across the street and find the same (missing) item at similar cost, I did go across the street and found no such item. As I don't have a vehicle, I take the bus and it is a relatively small town I didn't have any other choices left. I did say before leaving that I think from now on I will go to another store like the Dollarama is Greenwood and the younger employee responded by saying 'the store in Greenwood is..." I left before she finished her sentence, perhaps the store in Greenwood is run by the same people? Needless to say I will not return to the Dollarama in Middleton ever again but I DO want the bosses of the chain to know that they have a particularly RUDE employee (whatever position she holds) in the Middleton Dollarama. All they had to do was to hold my items until I got back LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD.

well family dollars has done it to me again by sending someone to talk to me unexceptly .they sent this women name farah to talk to me with another women that works under her.she did nothing the whole time but ask me questions over and over in 44-5 different ways.the lady i see for therapy said it was illegal and went against my rights as being disable.so i am going to file another complaint against her and what she called me after i left the office which was stupid, and ignorent. i had my listening device on were you can be in one room and me in another and i can hear your whole conversation so i was, nt as dum as she made me out to be.the water has got to hot for Jackie and she is stepping down as district manger but she still will be held acountable for threating me and my job.you blocked my money card this happened right after Farah came.its has been 5 days and the EOC, and the LABOR BOARD said for ever day i go without my money that i am supposed to get paid or farther charges will be brought against you

Family Dollar benefits

Now they have locked my payment card so I can, t gey what little money I made last week. They also gave me an extra day next week but all that was is to see if I am still filing my complaints. The next complaint is going to be against farah on the way she had that meeting sat up, ignoring the real problems but I knew in advance she was coming so I kept my mini tape recorder going the whole time. You have had more than 5 people call you out on the way you question them you play mind games you ask a person a question one way the then you repeat the same question 2 - 3 other ways to confuse a person. My therapist said thats what you was doing just that and you should not be playing with a delicate mind. It was just a month ago that I loss all my memory and still don, t have all of it yet. So I can file a suit against farah now on those grounds my doctor said I could after the way you was questioning me. Plus one more that the labor board I could file a law suit against family dollar from the top to my district133 for blocking my funds on my pay card then canceling it

Family Dollar mangers

i don, t know why these mangers keep treating me like i don, t know anything.mr.matherson was suppose to call and talk to me but they sent this women name Farah and another lady that works with her to come and talk to me but the person i talked to at the labor board, and the eeoc said family dollars was in the wrong ganging up on me, threating me, discriminating against me, the person at the FDA AGREED WITH ME ABOUT THE FROZEN FOOD SECTION THAT YOU CAN NOT PUT OUT COLD FOODS BEYOND THE DAY THEY THEY COME .SOME WAS PUT OUT THRUSDAY ITS ON CAMERA I HAVE A PICTURE OF IT.BUT THAT IS YOUR LEAST WORRY YOUR BIGGEST WORRY IS MOLD IN CURRENT PARTS OF THE STORE INCLUDING THE FREEZER

Family Dollar mold in current places

I have tried talking to you all over and over but nothings being done about my claims.I have a lawyer in eoc, labor board, epilepsey foundation of america, legal aide, and naacp.We can settle this in court or out of court because you all have the most to lose.Still this way fire hazard .Now i wonder who i call about the mold in current places in the store.20pictures of not only my store but others to were sent to the better bussiness bureah

Family Dollar whole family dollar store

sense i strated making my complaints from the top to the bottom either won, t talk to me, answer my phone calls, won, t even tell me when i work have to here it from a snitch.how can anybody live off no hours of work, to come back to work after major surgery.it can, t be done.if they can make them clean up there storage room they could have been done got back in touch with me.when i got my schedule for the week i had 1 day.but they call themselves feeling sorry for me and had her to change from 1 day to 2 days which will still only give me 4 hours.i am not the one who needs pitty worry about yourselves from the top to the bottom

Family Dollar my job and hours

I went and tould my manger that i have to have major surgery friday and ask if i can do it another day she had to call the district manger over133 district.The 2 are trying there best to discourage me by giving me less than 5 hours all week.Jackie dosen, t even have a thing to do with the hours at my store except my hours which is discrimination against me sonya prove that was the case when she tould me she had to call, jackie about my hoursby doing this to me and demoting my former manger the shelves stay empty, people go in looking for stuff and it has not been put out yet.Every u boat was still stocked yesterday and pallets to.Was, n, t nothing but trash all around because they was to lazy to put up any cages for the boxes.I kept the shelves stocked, the u boats empty, cages up for boxes, recover, and that still aint good enough for them.It is mainly the district manger and the store manger.But i just come back from the store and i asked her why i only got 4 hours when she can split more than a 100 hours between 4 people and all she said was we all ready talked about it .I didn, t talk to her she could not even tell me to my face she wrote it down on a sheet of paper and tould one of her snitches to give it to me.Now she is blaming human resources for it, and about my hours, discrimination, racists, threating me, and harrasing me .How high up dose it go that they kissing butt because of me to keep there jobs.No wonder won, t nobody get back in touch with me at either one of my emails or write me because no one answers the phone when i call.They should have tould me what progress has been made.I have 29 people that went through, or going through what i am, 17 groups people that has discriminated against by family dollars
