glasses and service terrible
Bought 2 pairs. both were terrible fit and uncomfortable. I bought Oakley and Armani purposely because they are definitely better quality at the other site I purchased from. Not so here. In order to get some of my money back from the second return, I had to buy something else. I purchased plain old reading glasses. They are worse than trying to see through a dollar store magnifying glass. So in the end they still got some money out of me for their junk. STAY AWAY don't waste your money like I did.

Glasses
Junk. All junk, but when your insurance doesn't cover glasses this SEEMS LIKE an affordable option. It's not when you Condider the fact that you'll have to buy a new pair every couple months.
After 5 pairs of glasses, none lasting more than a year before literally falling apart with light, infrequent, non work usage,(I also wear contacts so most often my glasses just sit in hard shell cases) I'll NEVER try them again. Slow learner, right?
1 pair just disconnected at a weld on the bridge while wearing them and fell off. On 3 pairs the screw holding a lense tight into the frames somehow just stripped right out as I was wearing them and WILL NOT tighten back in. The fifth pair a lense popped right out while putting them on and after popping it back in, it just doesn't set right like the frame is warped or something and that lense just keeps randomly popping out.
Thankfully my new insurance plan DOES cover lenses so I can go somewhere more expensive and HOPEFULLY get some QUALITY frames and lenses, something that clearly does not exist at eyebuydirect.
1 crappy pair might be a fluke, but 5? Thats just poor quality AND shoddy workmanship. Avoid this company.
Took my money, never received glasses
I ordered eye glasses, but eyebuy direct never completed order and they took my money. I contacted twice with my order number and the never returned my money. This was a simple order of prescription reading glasses. I tried to contact a company rep but they only use overseas call centers.
Desired outcome: Refund my money for purchased item never received
No Money Refund
Bought eyeglasses from this company (order no. [protected]) and returned them within the 14 days window. The return package was delivered to their address on early December, but they never gave my money back. It's been 3 months! Their customer service team was good at using all kinds of words and excuses, trying to confuse you and let you forget about this whole thing. In one of the emails they even said "oh we have issued you a refund and you will receive it soon" but a week later there was still no refund, and when I asked again, they were like "oh It hasn't been issued cauz you need to provide us the usps tracking number", which I have sent them in 5 different times.
So, even if I followed the 14 days policy, sent the glasses back, but still could not get any of my money back.
Eyebuydirect try-on feature
I'm just trying to figure out why the eyebuydirect try-on feature that I use on my mom's computer won't work on my computer or on my phone. Can't find any troubleshooting suggestions anywhere. My saved picture comes up, and then the word "Loading" with the circle of death for hours. No links in the try-on, like to change to camera mode, to change the frame size, color, or lens tint, or to change the photo being used, nothing works or loads... For hours.

Fake blue light blocking
Beware, They Cheating customer with blue light blocking. They coated only color blue on glasses. Who order with blue light blocking I test by tester, its not block at all. Dont waste your money. Try to another company with real blue light blocking. I recommend buy from Payneglasses.com

Incorrect lens type — caused serious injury
The lenses were supposed to be polycarbonate per the order confirmation. Turns out they were not. I fell and one of the lenses shattered. Required major surgery to my face to remove the lodged pieces and repair the muscle and nerve damage below the eye. Over $25, 000 in medical bills. Expert examination of the lens showed that it was an acrylic and not polycarbonate. Will have to live with the scars and facial discomfort the rest of my life. If you purchased glasses with polycarbonate lenses from EyeBuyDirect I highly recommend that you have them verified by an optometrist.

Why are your employees who collect the orders are so inattentive?
Do you think we sent you our prescription for fun or what? It means (if you didn't know) we want o get the right lenses, and what I got yesterday was terrible. I can't see anything wearing these glasses. It's inappropriate. I sent you all of the information! And now you refused to refund? Are you kidding me? Bunch of [censored]s!
A current RX is required, legally. This co does not seem to require it & cant answer if they do. Seems they send a default RX and charg your card, even if you did not order.
Only 2 weeks warranty
I got my glasses already broken. The delivery took a little more than a month. It turned out that I paid over 200 buсks for a crappy quality.
I immediately contacted them and asked for a refund and was ready to attach the pictures of the glasses if needed to prove they were really broken. They refused because their warranty works only 2 weeks since the moment of shipping. I am sorry, but it's not my fault you chose to work with the slowest delivery service in the world.
Obviously, they are aware of that, so that's why they picked this short-term warranty. Very convenient to save their money.
I have no alternatives, unfortunately.
So don't order from them if you don't want to be in my shoes.
Glasses purchase
I ordered a pair of glasses in November that were not what I expected so I tried to exchange then within the 14 day window that was given. They said that they were out of stock so I had to wait. I waited until JANUARY to send them back when I finally got an email saying they were back in stock. I sent them back immediately and it has now been over 1 month with no contact from the company and I never got the glasses. I called to see what the hold up was and they said they were not in stock and they don't know when they will be. I asked for a refund and instead, they tried to sell me on more glasses. Seriously? NO. I asked for the refund and they tried to give me HALF of what I paid saying because of the promotion they couldn't give me the full amount. ummmmm I paid for those glasses and I should get what I paid back. It has been almost half a year waiting. GIVE ME MY MONEY. WORST COMPANY. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I ordered a pair of sunglasses from this website and they said it'll take 14 business day to deliver, but after two weeks of waiting nothing arrived. Customer service representative said that sometimes delivery takes a bit longer and asked me to be more patient. When I asked them how long will it take they were not able to answer my question. They said they had no idea and tried to assure me that everything was fine.
After that I decided to make a research and found a lo of negative feedback about EyeBuyDirect. Many people said that on the estimated date order did not show up and that EyeBuyDirect lied that they need more time to deliver.
I think I'm in the same situation and I'm not happy. EyeBuyDirect is nothing but scam, please stay away from them!
Co billed my cr card for glasses not ordered! The RX is "default" -8. (not mine) No RX was uploaded. This co is not legal - as they dont require a current RX! I did not order, but browsed, put 1 glasses of interest in box. Do not put any product in their box - or cr card #! This co will automatically ORDER for you with a default RX! YOu will not know an order went through till you get the cr card statement. Had to dispute & get new cr card - since this was fraud.
Awful eyeglasses lens were not right gave up after three returns got my money back they have changed lens company used to be good company stay away
Poor quality
I have ordered a pair of glasses from www.eyebuydirect.com and when my order finally arrived I was disappointed. Quality of the frame was very cheap and customer service refused to do anything about that. They said they guarantee I'll be satisfied.
One month later frame just cracked! I contacted EyeBuyDirect again and sent them a couple of pictures but they simply did not care. I will not buy glasses from this website ever again. What a waste of money.
Wrong lenses
I have ordered a pair of glasses from www.eyebuydirect.com and they came with an absolutely wrong lenses. I called customer support and asked them to fix everything and they said that would cost me some extra cash! I was shocked! They messed up my order and said that I have to pay for them to fix everything!
Well, I really needed those glasses so I paid.
No words can describe how angry I was when I received my glasses and found out that EyeBuyDirect did nothing at all! I still could not a see a thing! Called them and demanded a full refund and they refused and hung up! Total joke! Do not order from these scam artists!
Broken glasses
I purchased a pair of glasses in March, I received the in April. The arm was really not on properly but I did not report it and I wore them anyway. The arm broke the first week in June. They did not have the frame anymore for the replace and I still had ended up paying $35.00 for the replacement pair. Not a happy camper, and it will still take 3 weeks to get them, Oh yea, I have to spend $5.00 to send them back. What an inconvenience.

Very poor product
purchased eyeglasses and they did not make them to the correct prescription..contacted call center in INDIA and they could not understand English...sent them an e-mail and attached my prescription and sent back the glasses at my cost..they sent me another pair which AGAIN was not made to my prescription.. I canceled payment via my credit card company.. I was trying to save a few bucks my buying online..this company is useless..I think they just have folks throwing in lenses from a box and mailing them out..Don't waste your time or money

Glasses
The glasses I recieved were very prettybut not made very durable. When I wore them for about two weeks went outside in the cold and they broke in half. I have had three pairs of glasses and they have seen harder times. One pair, had them made into sunglasses.Slill wearing them. I feel that they should have been better quality. I would like to continue doing business with Eyebuydirect, Please tell me what I should do?

No glasses, no customer service, no refund
I began my purchase on 03/03/11, eyebuydirect was offering buy 1 get 1 free. Upon checking out the total did not reflect anything free. I purchased 1 pair and sent a email to request the 2nd free pair. I was informed I would have to pay an upgrade fee, which I did pay. On 03/24/11, I requested status of my order via email after 2 days of trying to call with no one answer to the listed phone number on the website. I sent anothe email today 3/28/11 requesting a full refund and have yet to receive any kind of response. This company has fraudulent advertising, horrible customer service and will steal your money. DO NOT BUY FROM EYEBUYDIRECT.COM

No customer service
I purchased eyeglasses from EyeBuyDirect in January, 2011. At the beginning of March, the glasses broke. The left arm just fell off. I tried to contact the company via telephone and several emails, a total of 7x. No one ever responded. If the phone doesn't ring busy, it just rings and rings. They haven't responded to my emails either. I was willing to work with them and accept a repair kit, but at this point, I would like to send the glasses back and get a refund! The other online companies are fantastic. Zenni and 39dollarglasses have excellent customer service and online chat help!

I had the SAME issue. Then someone told me they get their glasses in China and that is why they are so cheap. I will NEVER buy from them again!
Poor customer service
I ordered my glasses from eyebuydirect.com on 12/17/2010 they say that it takes 10-14 days... Wrong! Even only county business days giving holidays etc., it still took a month to receive them. At that point I fugured I had already paid $70 it would have been worth the extra $30 to get them from a local vision center in an hour! When I got my glasses I was disappointed in the quality but figured i'd give them a chance anyway since it took that long to get them and I really needed them to see lol. After about 2 weeks the screws started coming loose. I took them in and had them tightenened. On day 32 of having them they literally fell off my face. I contacted their customer service, I was told that I had only 14 days to send them back and they would not take care of it. Then they told me for an additional $49.95 + shipping and handling they would do a one time replacement! Why on earth would I want to actually pay more money for what I had already paid for that fell apart!?!?! Cheap product, poor customer service! Warn everyone one you know! Do not buy from eyebuydirect.com they will rip you off!
Defective eyeglass frames
I purchased prescription sunglasses from this vendor. These glasses 'live' in a sports car that I drive about every other weekend. I went to put them on and the left temple came off in my hand. This would have been the tenth or twelfth time I had worn them. I contacted the company who informs me that they have a 14-day return policy and after that, you are on your own. (They offered me a 10% off deal to buy more substandard crap.) Buyer be ware -- these are cheap Chinese frames that offer no value -- only cheap prices. Check warranty first -- if they don't offer one, stay away.
