I ordered the 14 day trial for $3.95 and it said you could cancel within the 14 days so I tried and the line is either busy or you have to hold and nobody ever answers. If I don't cancel they will charge my credit card $89.31 every 31 days. I don't know what to do to get this cancelled. I do not want to pay the $89.31. PLEASE HELP ME

My bank was EXTREMELY helpful. They have access to vendor #'s when a charge comes through. The # they gave me was 1-877-859-0952. I'm waiting for the time difference (I'm Eastern Time) so I can see if I get through. The EASIEST thing to do is have whatever card you used cancelled and reissued IMMEDIATELY. I know it's a pain in the butt to change all your info (especially if you have automatic payments set up on the internet), but it's well worth it, seeing that this site (Acai Berry) rips you off even more by adding charges from other companies to your card.

I waited on the line forever but finally got through. They make you wait so you get discouraged and hang up and don't cancel your order.
I was mad because they only shipped half of the free trial before the 14 days. The other half came 5 days after I would have had to cancel. It is such a scam! How can you know if you like a product and want to keep using it after only about 5 days of use? How convenient for them that you can't return the unopened 31 day bottle they automatically send you!

I finally did get through and was given a cancellation #. Thankfully, because of my bank, the only charge on there was the $3.95. I am, however cancelling that particular card and they are issuing a new one for me. Realistically, that's the only way to stop them.
Seriously, I fell for it this morning...and once I printed out the 8 page "Privacy Policy"...I was appalled. That's when I went to the forums and read that by the time they shipped your "trial" bottle, it was too late to cancel the automatic shipments. Their "14 days" begins the date of your order, and they ship in 4-6 BUSINESS days. You do the math.
I am working on bringing companies like this to the attention of the public, and will urge EVERYONE to reconsider this particular company.

I was livid at that I fell for this one. I called my credit card company and immediately cancelled my credit card and was issued a new one. I tried calling these people and the phone just rang and rang. I tried again and voice mail answered and put me on hold until I hung up. I called again and they were busy. Then I found this page and I thought what a stupid fool I have been. They got me for two months, but my card, Visa, said they would pursue the matter, send me a new card now. and credit my account for two months charges. Whew, someone was with me on this one.

Well I saw that you had to cancel with in the 10 days barely...so I tried 4 different numbers and never got through to a real person, nor could i leave a message. Then I saw all these postings and felt like a fool, this was a total scam. They don't want you do get through on the phone so you can cancel after your free trial. So I didn't waste anytime, I called and cancel my card and they are going to issue me a new one. This is probably the only way to get out of being charged.

I just managed (after 2 days of trying) to cancel my trial. The number they have listed on their web site and the printed material they enclosed with my trial order (877-350-8480) "cannot be completed". Other numbers I found:

(877) 317-0189 - same "cannot be completed" recording

(801) 208-7485 - supposedly Customer Service (found # through Privacy Policy link). Automated recording, waited for over 10 minutes, no Customer Servce rep picked up the phone.

(801) 208-7490 - also supposedly Customer Service. Spoke with Customer Service rep. Got cancellation #. Informed her that I had cancelled my card, and would be watching the account for attempted charges. Informed her that I was recording the call, and if I saw them try to charge my card, I would be contacting the FTC. Told her why.

I found the comment by one of their own reps in this forum...so I wrote:

Yes I did finally get through...after waiting on hold for 40 minutes. Your terms should be prominently displayed in your ad, without having to click on an obscure link. At the VERY least, a sentence stating "Please refer to our terms BEFORE ordering" should appear where potential customers can see it. I fell for it, as did many others. I have created a "Warning" for potential customers as to the hidden problems of ordering not only from your sites, but from others that are set up like yours. "Fine print" may be as old as the hills, but people must be made aware of any potential hidden places that "fine print" may be hidden, and changes must be made so that customers do not feel as if they've been "taken".
I also wish to thank you for your email acknowledging my cancellation, as it will confirm same to my bank. Since it was only a minor inconvenience to cancel my card, and I'll be issued a new account, any attempts by you to access the old number will enable them to red flag your company, or any of your subsidiaries. I intend to post this email on my "warning" site. Thank you!

Let my experience serve as a warning to others...

CAREFULLY READ AND AGREE TO PURCHASE TERMS BELOW BEFORE ORDERING:

I understand that by ordering Extreme Acaiberry, I am agreeing to receive Extreme Acaiberry for a free 14-day trial period (days of availability for actual usage could be less depending on shipping time) beginning on date of order. $3.95 (non-refundable) for S&P. I understand that unless I cancel by calling 1-877-350-8480 within this 14-day period, beginning on the 14th day my credit card will automatically be charged $89.31 (Free Shipping) for a 31 day supply of Extreme Acaiberry to be shipped at that time to my door.

I also agree to the 7 day bonus trial to Fit Factory for $29.95 each month thereafter, should I choose not to cancel.
Thereafter, until and unless I cancel, my credit card will automatically be charged an additional $89.31 every 31 days for a new supply of Extreme Acaiberry. I understand that I may cancel any future shipments Monday through Friday by calling 1-877-350-8480. Our hours of operation are from 8am to 5pm MST. We do not accept returns on any products that have been shipped. Extreme Acaiberry

NOTE: These are their "NEW" Terms...but before they allow you to even CLICK on their terms or privacy policy, they try to "sweeten the deal by offering the "shipping and handling" for only $1.00
If you go on to accept the lower shipping, and fill out your info...it's TOO LATE. It doesn't let you go back to either the privacy policy (which in essence says you HAVE no privacy) OR the terms. Also note that you;'re automatically signed up for not only the Acaiberry, but also ANOTHER $29.95 a month for "Fit Factory"...BUYER BEWARE!!!

I am so mad at myself for falling for this. I entered my information and read the terms & conditions a little too late. I should have read the conditions BEFORE providing my credit card information. I have been on hold for at least 20 minutes with the phone number provided by my bank 866-550-5678 since the phone number in the order does not work. I cannot wait to see the day where all these thiefs, scammers and a-holes that take advantage of the internet go to jail. ALSO and PLEASE READ THIS: in the terms and conditions there was also this paragraph"**************I would also like to take advantage of the the 21 day bonus trial to PriceLimbo for eight dollars & fifty one cents a month thereafter, should I choose not to call and cancel Price Limbo." **************
Notice how they didnt entered the amount with actual numbers but instead used words. Also there do NOT provide a number to call Price Limbo. Well this is obviously another scam. I have no effin clue how to cancel this price limbo b/s. They do have a website and the only way to contact customer service is by message from their website. Arge, I am so sick and tired and really wish all the people involved in creating these scams end up in jail.

The number for the acai berry cusotmer service is actually 877-615-4233..the other one was for my bank ..oops.
400 days ago by Sandra  [send email] 0 Votes
UPDATE - after about 40 minutes on hold somebody finally answered. The order was cancelled (supposedly) and they provided a cancellation order. Of course the $3.95 is non-refundable which if one thinks about it, theses companies are making millions even if all they take is the $3.95 from customers..I want these people in jail so bad. Their call center is in Malaysia . The number to call is 877-615-4233. They just answer "customer service" so i assume its one big call center that attends to all these scammers. I really do hope they fry in hell or even better if they would just fry somewhere here on earth. It is absolutely disgusting that they allowed to make money by tricking people. The Price Limbo thing I cancelled by going under myaccount and clicking cancel my acccount. I got another email with another link and once I clicked on it I got a window that read my account was cancelled.

I also have been through the same thing with AcaiBerry. I called two days after placing my order, finally got through the EXTREMELY busy line to find their customer service rep refused my cancellation and hung up on me. She said I had to wait 14 days after the order, and then call, it was too early. I continued to state I wanted to cancel my order and she said, "Please wait for your cancellation confirmation..." All I heard was click and a dial tone. So Nubodi, Diet Offers Store, whomever you are, I have no problems with your Terms and Conditions, however, you aren't abiding by your Terms and Conditions by not allowing customers to cancel their orders, or by hanging up on your customers. I have also e-mailed customerservice@nubodi.com and called the 801 number in addition to the 877-350-8480 number, still no cancellation, and no answer. I was also given 888-692-8352 by the Raven FitFactory staff to cancel my AcaiBerry order, it's constanstly busy. They seem to be unaware of the dishonestly with their partner, they cancelling the FitFactory membership immediately without issue.

My next step, legal terms...my credit card has been cancelled so other than the $1 charge, Extreme AcaiBerry gets nothing from me. Oh look, another 877 number to contact!
400 days ago by Annette  [send email] 0 Votes
Update, prior to the comments before mine, I tried and tried to cancel with Price Limbo to find no telephone number to call, and nothing on their web site to lead me to anyone to speak to regarding cancellation of their services/products. But as stated above, go to My Account, put in your e-mail address and the so-called pass word they gave you when you signed up to get into your account detail. There you can cancel your so-called account. They will send you an e-mail to confirm your cancellation, and make sure you click on the URL posted because that is what actually activates the cancellation! So all has been cancelled at this point with the exception of the actual AcaiBerry order, which I did speak to someone about, but she refused my cancellation request, going against Extreme AcaiBerry's own Terms and Conditions. I will keep trying all the other numbers I received. This is ridiculous the time I have spent with this, now over 5 hours of my time getting this sorted out!

Thankfully FitFactory and Healthy Advantage are not vicious, you can easily cancel with them. I don't think people realize Healthy Advantage is tied to this but I believe it is. Thankfully all they give you is free e-mails and newsletters.

I am definitely going to file a Consumers Complaint, this is not right!

I ordered the extreme acai berry 14 day trial a couple days ago and have been trying to reach someone to cancel ever since. I have called over 5 different 800 type numbers and all I get is a busy signal every time. It seems there is no way to contact these people. One lady from the fitfactory told me to keep trying that 1 person out of all the people she has talked to got through, she told me she was on hold for over 40 minutes. This is pure insanity. They really believe we should just keep "trying" for days on end to end up more frustrated and irate. This company should be taken down.
400 days ago by Megan  [send email] 0 Votes
I have yet to get through. This is ridiculous. I've been trying every number posted on this page, and absolutely every single one has a busy signal. I don't want to wait for my credit card to be charged a ridiculous amount! I'm ashamed for falling for this, and I don't know how to handle it. I'll obviously challenge every and any charge, but this is my first credit card, and not only that, but its not through my bank so I'll have to d it all via the internet or the phone. Do I just dispute the charge? What if they keep doing it? or will the credit card company prevent that? The 14 day mark is only a few days away!

This is awful, this acai company is a joke and for lack of a better term, evil. It's not fair and not right to say one thing, do another, and conduct a company like that. At least I've learned my lesson and am NEVER falling for trial things again.

Oh, and did I mention that although I am "10 days into my free trial" (10 days from ordering it) I never received it in the mail to begin with?
400 days ago by Anna  [send email] 0 Votes
I fell for it too.. :( Mine also associated itself with some type of fitness program that charges almost 25 dollars a month on top of Acai's 89 dollars. The fitness program was easy to cancel and I received the confirmation number for it with now hassel. I tried calling Acai several times, the number where I finally reached anything but a busy tone is:
1-801-208-7485. It took several attempts though.

After that I put my phone on speaker and waited almost 25 minutes until a representative answered. They were friendly enough I suppose and she cancelled my account.

Its a hassel but I guess I should have read the fine print. I won't fall for it again, and I definitely will warn anybody I hear that thinks of trying it.

BELOW IS WHAT I EMAILED TO THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY...

October 20, 2008

Extreme AcaiBerry

4650 SW 51st Street

Suite 711

Daive, FL 33314

To Whom It May Concern:

I have tried feverishly the last few days to cancel to no avail. Your phone number 877-350-8480 is ALWAYS busy! I was able to cancel the Fit Factory with out any problems THROUGH ANOTHER NUMBER (866-407-1022) and they told me there was NOTHING they could do about helping me cancel with Extreme AcaiBerry!. I DO NOT WANT THIS PRODUCT. After reading the fine print, I see what a mistake it was for me to order a FREE trial. I read complaints online about others not being able to reach you all to cancel and pleading for help and answers how to go about stopping further shipments of your product and STOP ANY FURTHER DEBIT TRANSACTIONS.

I have notified my bank, and they are aware of this situation. They will conduct a full fraud investigation as soon as you attempt to pull any further money out of my account. I herby CANCEL!!!

I also filed a complaint with the BBB under all the other assumed DBA's they fall under!!!

I cant get through to any numbers, i really want to cancel, can anyone help me please?
398 days ago by Marcy  [send email] 0 Votes
I ordered this product yesterday (10-21) and after entering my account number and being charged $1 for s/h, I began getting emails welcoming me to PriceLimbo. com and Fit Factory. I immediately called Fit Factory and cancelled my account, they were very nice and helpful. I finally, after a couple hours, managed to get the PriceLimbo account closed. As for the Acai Berry product. I stayed on hold for twenty minutes to reach a customer service rep (took about 30 minutes worth of dialing) told her that I wanted to cancel everything involved with this product. She gave me a cancellation confirmation number, but not before offering me an additional bottle for no charge. I even called back today 10-22 and confirmed that all three accounts were closed/cancelled. When i spoke to the rep at Acai Berry i told her that the Scam they were running was outrageous and hung up. Stay away from this product, and watch your accounts even after you cancel to make sure they don't charge you.

I GOT THROUGH TO CANCEL!!! Woo hoo!!
Ok, it took 3 days and when I finally got through (at 7:07 a.m. Pacific), I was on hold for 20 minutes, but I hung out and finally got a REAL LIVE PERSON! I've got a cancellation number!!
Extreme Acai is totally a scam. First, you're lucky if you even get the trial size within the 14 days you're given to cancel. Next, they advise taking 2 a day when the bottle says 2 tablets 30 minutes before meals, so unless you only eat one meal a day, they're really only giving you a 10 day supply.
Anyway, call as early as you can (I thought I heard the recording say they were actually open at 6 a.m. Mountain M-F) and be prepared to hold for a long time once you get through. Good Luck!!!
