I won’t recommend anyone the website www.exclusivecellular.com. I tried to activate my phone through this website, but they charged me and didn’t finish the job. They stated that within 4-5 minutes I would get the code for activation, but it was total lie. I havent received anything from them. I sent them 3 messages and asked for refund, but they refused and the response was really rude. So be careful if you use this website or leave comments if you have horrible experience with these scammers.

This is Josh, with Exclusive Cellular, by the sounds of it, you were trying to do an ESN Change? We charge $4.95 to process an ESN Change, and all details regarding how the ESN Change works is on the ESN Change page of our website.

I'm guessing there was a problem with your new phone, the one you were trying to switch to? The only reason an ESN Change doesn't go through, is if the ESN of the new phone is blacklisted for non-payment, reported lost / stolen, or it's already active on another line.

We do not send a "code" for activation, as an "activation" is the process in which we activate a new phone number to a phone. That is free on our website.

Furthermore, we do not send a "code" with an ESN Change. The process works like this: You submit your Phone Number, Old MEID, and New MEID, and pay $4.95. If the New Phone MEID is free & clear, and ready for use, the ESN Change will process instantly. It's listed on our website to ensure that you have verified with CHECKESNFREE.COM and Verizon, that your New MEID is free & clear and ready for use. If you didn't do that before paying for an ESN Change, it wouldn't have gone through if something was wrong with the ESN of that phone.

All details about ESN Changes are on our website, right on the page that you processed the ESN Change. Did you read over that page, before entering your information and paying?

Hey there, Josh again! It seems as though people are having the biggest issue with ESN Changes when using our website. I wish I had a better way to describe the issues we're having, but the average consumer wouldn't quite understand what we've been dealing with over the last few months. Page Plus Cellular has been having a TON of issues with their systems, from ESN changes, to Activations, to Renewals, and our system cannot go over & above the works of Page Plus Cellular's system. If they are down, we are down. If they are experiencing issues, we are experiencing issues. Here shortly, i'm going to open ESN changes to the public for FREE, for an entire month, because of the problems we've been facing with getting things set up to properly address Page Plus's system errors. The biggest complaint i've seen so far, is when someone attempts to switch their service over to a 4G LTE device, not knowing that AT&T / T-Mobile / Unlocked devices cannot be used on Page Plus Cellular. You HAVE to have a Verizon certified 4G LTE device to use Page Plus. Also, when processing a 3G to 4G LTE ESN change, make sure to use the 14-digit MEID as the "Old ESN / MEID", and the 15-digit (I cannot stress this enough... MUST be the 15-digit) IMEI from the new Verizon certified 4G LTE devcie. A Page Plus SIM card is also required for all 3G to 4G LTE ESN changes. We cannot process an ESN change to a 4G LTE phone (iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus) without a 4G LTE Page Plus SIM card. There's no way around it :(, and lastly, we cannot put 4G LTE phones on the $12 plan. Page Plus Cellular made these rules, not us, we just have to abide by them. If there was a way to get a 4G LTE phone on Page Plus with no sim card, on the $12 plan, i'd be more than happy to help everyone that wants it done, but I can't :(

I'm happy to refund any and all issues you guys are having, just shoot me an e-mail directly at josh@exclusive cellular . com, and explain the problem, and i'll get to it as soon as possible. I've had a rough last couple of months with lots of errors & problems, and I cannot get to every single e-mail in the info@exclusive e-mail address, but i'm trying! and we're hiring on a few new employees come mid-January, which should take some of the work-load off of my shoulders. I'm sorry to anyone who has experienced issues, but please understand, Page Plus has become a tough company to work with lately, but they are working on fixing the various bugs & issues, and we're helping them every day we possibly can. The only way we can get to a better network is to hit a few rough patches along the way.

Last Update, so everyone reading this better understands:

Reggie Strickland's issue - was attempting to activate a non-supported Sprint device on Page Plus, Opened a case with PayPal within 2 hours of submitting payment, so we had to wait to hear back from him if he still wanted the activation processed. He did, and the paypal case was closed. I assume he didn't know our new activation / new phone number service was not instant. We tried activating his phone, it was denied due to the fact that it was a Sprint phone, and we e-mailed a few times as to whether he had a Verizon device we could activate, but he did not. His review above was posted December 12th, and we figured that he didn't have a compatible phone on December 13th. Refund was sent.

Rweigs issue - When the ESN change form was filled out, the phone number was entered with dashes in between the numbers (999-999-9999), which caused it to fail. If it had been entered with (9999999999), it would have gone through immediately. Refund was sent.

honest88 - I cannot find your e-mail, can you please contact me directly? I'll be happy to get you squared away ASAP.

This company is a SCAM! I waited 8 hours for a ESN change that never came. I found another company provided the exact same information and within 10 minutes my ESN change was complete. I've had problems in the past with refill's also. They take your money and do not complete the task. AVOID AT ALL COSTS unless you like giving your money away!

Having a refill problem...paid on Sept 2 2017.. Have yet to receive my refill and have no cell service at all...have emailed josh as he said to do...sent several...no reply at all...

I am not having a prob with esn chane I paid my bill ontime and when I text to 7243 the balance it said my service expired 12-31-1969?

Exclusivecellular.com user for years. My other interactions with Josh have all been easy, helpful and prompt enough. Recently, I got a 4G LTE phone and so needed a SIM card. It has now been almost a month since I ordered my SIM card. No tracking number was ever sent (as stated on order page) and no SIM card has ever arrived. I tried multiple times to contact Josh to no avail. Finally he sent me an email about another matter, and I inquired about the SIM card. He asked which type, I answered, and I haven't heard from him since, and still no SIM card. Disputing the payment, and leaving exclusivecellular.com behind. Sad, as I was always treated well before and never hesitated to recommend this site.

Same experience here. Charge went through immediately, 3 days later, not action of any kind on a port-in request. No activation, no email, no nothing.
This is costing me everyday with this one line stuck in a family plan. Very unprofessional.

Good afternoon! Josh this is Eric Johnson i have been waiting very patienly for you to refund me my money of $10.78 back to my PayPal account at vonjaywines@yahoo.com. I also left you two message & you only responed back one time saying you don't do the $12.00 plan for 4g no problem. Just refund me my money & i will deal directly with pageplus thanks appreciate it enjoy your day.

This cannot be coincident at all. This has become their way of stealing people's money. I purchased $39.95 page plus plan for $35 since 2/26/2017. The email I received was that your payment has been received and will be process in order. Today is 2/28/2017, I haven't received my pin codes for page plus service, so how long do I need to wait to get my service turn on? Anyways, I have now purchased my plan directly from page plus and I want my money refunded back to my PayPal as soon as possible. I will make sure I contact PayPal to stop allowing Exclusive Cellular to be scamming people by using their services. I will also make sure I report to the BBB and file a complaint with Better Business Bureau. Item# 123-[protected]

I have tried Exclusive Cellular before and hoped this time it would be different, but NO. I have tried many times to get a refund, get service, or switch phones with no Emails back, no calls, Nothing! I understand Josh & company are busy, but it's been going on for at least 2 weeks and No return anything. Thanks a bunch! Former Customer

Don't use exclusivecellular. They did the same thing to me: took money with no reply, and no service. This site is a scam. Do your ESN change directly with your phone company's support--it took me less than 10 minutes.

I went to their website for a refill over 3 hours ago and have sent a couple messages to them in regards to the payment. The phone I made the payment for will be shut off the end of the day if that payment is not made. The money has not been taken out of the account I gave them. So I can't make a payment through any other place because if they wait until the last minute I will have an overdraft fee.

I activated my daughter's phone yesterday at 2:00 PM and it's now 12:24pm the next day and phone still not activated I have sent emails and haven't heard anything back from anyone as of yet...this is crazy to me

I feel that this company is a scam and needs to be sued and shut down...not everyone is going to keep having the same complaint on the same company. Give me my damn money and take yo ### out of business! If anyone else is wondering. ..don't waste your time with this company go to pageplus website and do it yourself! I wish I would have seen these reviews before I purchased.

Same here. Website is not accurate. Says two minute ESN change. It has now been almost 24 hrs. I have sent additional follow up emails with the info they state they need. I have checked the ESN with their website suggested site and it comes back stating ready for activation and yet here I sit. I also will want a refund and will find amother provider to change my ESN. Very frustrating.

I have used ExclusiveCellular.com and have always found Josh pleasant. Although that is a wonderful quality, it doesn't do much when speed is of the essence. I had sent several emails requesting a phone number being swapped, all within Page Plus' network. I simply needed to hear back in a timely fashion. I did not. In fact, I didn't hear back until I requested a PayPal dispute be opened, which was at 7:35 pm. My first email was submitted requesting a change at 9:29 am. I appreciate they do not start their day until 12:00 noon. However over 7 hours with no response? And no readily available phone number to call?

I'm sorry, I thought I had found a wonderful company. And I appreciate their pleasantries. But I can't deal with someone I simply cannot reach when I need them. I have requested a refund for two stacked PINS on my account, as they are simply in wait and not applied as of yet.

I am a long-term customer of ExclusiveCellular.com. I write in support of Josh, who has always been most courteous in addressing any concerns with my account. He is a good man, providing an significant discount alternative for budget-minded individuals like myself. His points and questions regarding the nature of his service and practices is on point, and clearly the tone of his response to the attack is remarkably civil. This does not surprise me. One way his small company controls its costs is my addressing requests in the order that they are received. Often, responses and service activation is quite quick. However, as stated clearly on the website, the process can take a few hours. The discount and personal attention more than make up for any lack of speed. I have five lines with ExclusiveCellular, and save a considerable amount of money over and above the already deeply discounted services of PagePlus. It's a win-win for me, and I commend Josh for how he conducts business. He is a fine entrepreneur in the purest sense of "better mousetrap" American ingenuity!

I have waited an hour and a half and no new number/ activation code...but the payment for my monthly service came out within 2 minutes. I would rather pay the 10 for activation with another company if I can get service right away.
