Everest Cash Advance scam artist

I took out a 300 dollar loan from these guys paid on it for months on in. They did not tell me there was a fee for paying back every two weeks now I owe 463.00 dollars after paying on the loan for months so nothing went towards the loan and now in collections, ruined my bank account as well.. The sad part is they've already doubled their money from me and want to go for more, is there anyway to stop this process? I've giving them nothing short of 600.00 from a 300.00 dolladollardollar loan, it's insane... They are crookscrookssssssssss

I called Everest Cash advance to schedule a payment with a credit card. The customer service rep was hard to understand and took awhile to finally get my name correct and credit card number. I finally got the credit card confirmed and rep said payment was taken. My next payday I noticed that my checking account had been charged the full payment. I called...

Everest Cash Advance RIP OFF!! Don't Use

In a time of need I took out a loan for $500 they charge $150 fee every two weeks and never apply payments to principal amount unless paying off in full - tried to pay off with multiple credit cards in smaller amounts as mentioned in their faq on the web site - rep told me this is not allowed by their company policy - either keep paying over $300 a month in fees or pay off loan plus an additional 150 - I finally spoke to a supervisor after a heated conversation with the rep and multiple requests for the supervisor - got frustrated and paid of principal balance - do not use this high fee lender - theyonly exist to collect high fees!

Ghee thanx for the tip but not needed. I don't use payday scammers ever. It's people like you who are keeping this scammers in scamming "business." And don't think any other payday lender is different. Google peer to peer lending if you must do short term borrowing. But I suggest you fix whatever is getting you in this situation.
Perhaps look into dave ramsey's 7 step formula http://www.daveramsey.com/new/baby-steps/
Good luck.

Everest Cash Advance Breach of Contract

Avoid cash advances, if at all. Learn from my mistake. This company lacks customer service and morals. They will withdrawn payments from you bank account on unscheduled due dates, breach of contract. This company will cause you esf and charge you $25 return fees, when they are the ones with drawling from you bank account on the wrong day stated in your contract. If you have to use cash advance, please dont use this company! I paid $60 extra for their error. Jean carlos and henry sanchez ramirez our the customer service specialist that are of not help and lack customer service and english speaking skills! Avoid, avoid, avoid this company! I asked them if they felt this was fair, and response was yes. I asked them if they understood the term breach of contract, no response. I explained to them I would seek legal, they stated, "do what you have to do."

Everest Cash Advance SCAM / RIP OFF COMPANY

I took out a loan for $300 and the auto withdraws from my bank at $90 each. Then it just kept going. Every two weeks this company thought it was ok to just keep taking my money. In fact by the time I locked them out of my account they had got another $303 including all NSF fees in which they subjected me to as I had no idea they where stealing from me. The I received a call being advise my check was going to be garnished so I paid it. I noticed who the company was and it was to late they took another $385. What the heck is wrong with these people. Stealing is ok and no one has shut them down yet. DO NOT borrow from this company you will end up with a nightmare from hell. They just don't stop and then want to blame you for not paying. I think the whole company and all employees should be arrested.

This company also uses Total Recovery Service out of Oklahoma to help them steal your money. So if you get a call from either place just hang up and file a complaint. They are all a bunch of thieves.

Total Recovery is actually a 3rd Party Debt Collector. When you don't pay back your loan from Everest, that is who your account will be turned over to for collection. They can legally collect debt from you - even take you to court to recover the fees you owe.

Everest Cash Advance Unauthorized and Unlawfull taking money from bank account

On a desperate day while rearching for pay day loans on internet I came accross this site which seemed reasonable. I submitted my information including my bank account, at no time did I agree to anything on the internet. I received a call later from a representative of this company who contacted me about the loan, this person told me for a $300 loan I would be charged $100 in interest which seemed kind of high to me. I informed this person I would think about it and call them back, which I never called back or agreed to anything or received any type of details except for the $100 interest on the loan.

the next day i notice the loan on my bank account, I was hesitant and confused about how they just put the phone day without a final decision from me, but being desperate for money i left it at that.
couple of weeks later I saw the first bank withdrawl of $90 which I figured they were going to be taking the loans payments in installments. Not after seeing more than the $400 I was told I had to repay that I contacted the company (3 weeks ago) at that time a very rude representative informed this were only interest charges on the $300 loan, so far they had deducted an excess of $655 dollars. this person told me they would continue deducting money every two weeks if I did not pay them that day the amount of $295 dollars. I was in shock, could not believe what I was hearing. Anyway, i informed this person this was a rip off and was going to submit a formal complaint, which I have with couple of organizations, including Consumer Affairs. Till now they are still deducting money from my account and my bank seems to have no control over this . PLEASE HELP, I am a single woman with financial probles and trying to manage not loosing my house.

Everest was sent a desist and refrain order and an order to disgorge by the state of California back in 2011. They were and still are unlicensed to provide loans to anyone in the state of California. I had a loan out with them and had been paying and rolling over, which I initially had no problem with, but then I started receiving emails from them asking for debit card information - this made me suspicious. After checking with the California Department of Business Oversite I learned that they and many other unlicensed Payday Lenders have been blocked from accessing California bank accounts. The reason for this is that they charge more than the legal rate for California and are still unlicensed. Since I'd basically already given them back more than I borrowed, I told them that they could not have my debit card info, and I emailed them copies of the notice given to the banks and a copy of the desist and refrain order, and that we were simply done. This was a couple months ago, but as of last Friday, the collection calls have begun. I've told the collection agency all the above information, as well as the fact that since Everest already knew that they are not supposed to lend to Californians, and my address is CLEARLY in California, that they should have rejected the loan request and their knowledge of all of the above makes the entire contract void. Of course, the collection agency won't listen. I've already submitted complaints to California's Department of Business Oversight (which of course will take forever, but the calls don't really bother me), and if it goes to a credit bureau, it will easily be expunged with the above information.

I visited their site too, and started an application, then decided against using them as the amount they said i qualified for was not what i wanted. i did not complete the application, did not authorize or sign any agreement. About 8 days later I went to my account to make a bill payment and I saw that they had deposited $500 in my account. I called them immediately and told them i did not authorize a loan and asked them to take the money back i did not want it nor agree to it. They refused, and they took $75 out of my account for a so called "extension" that i never requested. I filed a complaint with my bank, and am filing complaints for fraud against them.

This company seems to be part of a scam. I had no problems until i took out a loan through them. A company called county check services somehow got my info and tried to scam me for 1500. A message on a complaint page such as this published by the FBI says county check services is a scam and seem to get their info after the victim has got a loan from a payday loan place. They list cash net as one of the places, but no mention of everest. However cash net was just one example. After further reasearch I found everst cash advance isn't even licsend to do buiesness in the US. Therefore they cannot take legal aginst you if you choose to not pay them back. However none of the info I recieved is gaurenteed to be correct so i suggest you do your own reasearch as well and let me know if your situation is the same.

Obviously, none of you who are complaining actually read the online terms before you clicked "continue" on their site. It CLEARLY states that only the finance charge will be deducted on the first installment and the loan amount, with interest, will be automatically extended unless you call to cancel the extension and agree to pay the full amount on the first installment. The interest continues to accrue if you allow the extension to remain intact.
You don't read what you sign, then you get on the internet and slam a company whose terms were disclosed and which you agreed to. Good luck pursuing that in court! I have taken out a payday loan from Everest, I READ the terms, I asked questions before I committed...when they explained what exactly the extension meant, I told them I wanted it paid off on the first installment and they entered that into their system. If I have any complaints after the first installment, then my complaint will be legitimate...it won't be because I leaped before I looked. I read what I was signing, I asked questions, I stated my terms before I committed to the agreement. I foresee no problems with this going exactly as I arranged. Will update here after the loan matures. In the meantime, READ WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING before you start whining!

i have just took out a 400 doller payday loan an as any payday loan placew you will deal with the same thing if you dont pay the loan off you will have to keep paying roll over charges that's that if you cant handle dealing with a payday loan then you should not have taken one out if you just pay it like you said you would then you would not have a problem at all

You have to actually pay the loan back. If you had paid back on the next pay date (as the company intends) you would have only paid $390. $300 + the finance fee of $90. Since you chose not to pay it back on your paydate, the company only took the finance fee and will keep doing so until you choose to pay down the principal of the loan. If you don't pay down the principal, you are simply rolling over the loan any paying just the finance fee each month - the same you would do on a credit card or line of credit. You should only take out a payday loan if you are planning to pay it back quickly.

My husband took out a payday loan from Everest. BIG MISTAKE! He has already paid back the amount plus what would be the interest. They are still taking $120 out. He canceled the payments, and they decided to take $145 out anyways. We canceled our bank account, and are possibly going to take legal action. He has had pay day loans in the past, and say one was for $300, he paid back $380 and was done. Everest however is not a good place to deal with, and I hope no one ever goes through them again.

Everest Cash Advance unscrupulous business practices

I sent the email telling them I wanted to pay my loan in full. When they only took out the fee the following pay period I emailed them again about the mistake. They claim they did not receive the email and took out an extra $57 dollars for extending the loan an extra two weeks. I called them, sent them proof of the two emails regarding the loan repayment. They never return my emails and when I call they tell me they will get back to me. It has been a month.

If you are thinking about getting a loan from them I suggest you go somewhere local. There are so many hidden fees and the cost of the loan is higher than local payday loan branches. You would be giving this Caribean company access to your bank account. You are not protected by American banking laws. Don't do it! A company like this does not deserve your hard earned money.

Everest Cash Advance Unauthorized loan

I took out a loan with Everest's sister company VIP loan Shop. The next day I had another deposit from Everest Cash Advance as well as VIP loan shop. I paid back VIP but am refusing to pay the interest fees from Everest as I never authorized this loan. both arrived for $750. The interest was $225 on each.
Everest will not except my partial payment for the 750 less the interest. I have now closed my bank account and not sure what to do next.

You should have returned the $750 from Everest. It was obviously a mistake (possibly on the bank's part or whoever at the company processed the wire transfers?) You should have contacted them immediately, explained what happened and they would have taken back the $750 and probably apologized for the mistake. Instead you kept the money. So, basically you stole from the company and closed your account which will cause them to go after you in Collections.

In the future, don't take money that isn't yours. Yes, they made the mistake, but this happens with banks all the time and they expect the money to be returned.

I did get a loan from them for $400. I paid it back three fold. The only way to stop them is to do a syop payment at your bank. Then the harassment begins. Your family, work, friends, people you don't even know in your neighborhood will be called, but atleast you know there is a real person that feeds their family off of stolen money. Everest Cash Advance rip off

After taking a $300 cash advance in July, and were told the finance charge would be $45, $90 per pay period (2X mo) has been debited 6 times! I cannot find the paperwork, no emails about how to pay off, who to contact, and finally got hold of someone today by phone, and was told the payoff this week will be $345 (and that they are "discounting" it for me is the claim now when asked why $45 fee this time instead of the $90!). I have used other such companies, and at least they put some towards the principal after 5 payments, plus send reminders every time with payoff, interest, etc. If you need to use one of these types of companies, DON"T use this one!

Everestcashadvance.com is a rip off people.. Before signing anything thru these online lenders make sure they are licenced and regulating the state rules and guidelines. The bbb reports that everest cash advance is not accredited thru them and the occc of tx says they cannot find information on them and in Arizona the attorney general has filed a suit against this so called loan company. They are having issues all across the unites stated with this everest cash advance and like so many other people I was in dire need of some cash and took right into it before knowing the tx rates and financing fees are so different than what I been charged. My 400.00 loan has cost me over 1000.00 in just 4 months.. Frustrating and pisses me off I wasn't smart enough to find out before I jumped!

this company is nothing but scammers. i got desperate for a 350 loan and they said they deposited it that my bank was holding it . i called my bank and was told they rejected it cuz these idiots didn't have the last 4 digits of the account, so i go thru hell with explaining and holding and frustrations. then on day 4 of the same day cash loan i get some lady saying that they cant do anything until the rejected deposit gets back to them and then they will do a new loan and they need all kinds of crazy stuff to approve it...i told them that i will talk negative about them til i die. i hope all the people that work there have financial trouble and loose their cars, jobs and homes. i could have done something else in the 4 days of my life that they wasted. for Clarence i hope you stop being deceitful and for Ashley k who wouldn't get on the phone and them all of the sudden wasn't there...i wish you only ill will. Why could you not find any information? Where were the loan documents you signed? The email communications when you received your loan? You should have had dozens of communications with them. Did you check your spam folder? In order to receive the loan in the first place you had to speak with them - they told you about the $45 and the $90 finance fees. They also would have told you how to paydown or payoff the loan. From experience, I can tell you that they DO begin paying down the principal of the loan after you have rolled it over 5 times. They would have sent you an email explaining that as well. You should have been more pro-active in reading your emails from the company and reading the loan documents you had to have signed.
