Money taken for never requested card or service
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 2 votes
I never requested any card or service from this company and they withdrew $49.95 from my account. I have tried their 866-379-5984 number and you only get a recording. When I tried again today, it is a changed recording to go to their website to submit a refund request, but of course, that website does not come up and is inaccessible. I have written a letter also to their San Celmente address with no response to date. They should be put out of business and I don't know what to do to get my money back, especially when it is needed now. Whenever I am online and other boxes pop up, I always check NO but nevertheless somehow this company got my bank account number and took what they wanted without any authorization and now can't follow up with them for refund. They need to be put out of business by proper authorities!

This company Ever Private Card stole 49.99 from my checking account with Bank of America. I found this was deducted from my account on 4/20/2007. They used a 9999 check and fraudulently completed an ach transaction for the 49.99. I have filed complaints with the local authorities, as well as the BBB. I have also start an investigation through my bank. I need to get an understanding on how the company Ever Private Card operates their business. I ask how someone can go in my account and take out money without telling me. I have left messages, along with calling a number I was given (by my bank) (401) 228-9232. The individual that answered the telephone told me that he was an answering service but could not take messages. I was given a web site(this site) to go to by my bank along with the ever private card's (everprivatecard.com) answering company to file a complaint, which I did. I was informed that Ever Private Card will not call or email me and let me know what's going on or how to get a refund.
I opened this bank account so my daughter could have a safety net in case of an emergency. She told me she was going to apply for a loan. I ask if she approved the loan request and she said no. That they would only give her about $200.00 and had to pay back a lot more and she told them she did not want it. I ask if she approved a deduction and she said no. She said that there was not anything asking if she wanted to have 49.95 deducted from this account. I can not believe that this is allowed to continue.

If the bank knows that this is happening, how can they accept no responsibility in letting the thieves steal from their customers? I was told that the bank has dealt with this company before and that they can do nothing. How can that be? With all the technology today, why the banks can’t just put a hold on the withdrawal and e-mail you that there is an attempt to withdraw funds? I had to close my account open a new and notify all the payers to change the account numbers.

What can be done to stop this from happening?

Please help me get my daughters money from these thieves.

This is the letter I sent to the attorney general of cal.

I too have been a victim of this company. I am a single mother and I have a savings account that I am saving her college money in. This was the account that had the $49.95 taken out. How do they get the account numbers? Any one with any info please let me know. I am tired of the run around from these guys!

I to have been a victim of this company as well. This just happened to me 5/21/07 when I seen that I had a overdraft on my account. My bank is supposed to be replacing the money but I never applied for anything with this company. If anyone ever finds out how we can get this company please let me know.
