I went to this station 9800 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L6X 5E9

I filled up at the pump today and bought a carwash. But the carwash code machine reclaimed my code but did not give me a car wash.

The worst part is the manager was not there the whole day, and the staff on duty could not help me. It's a $12 carwash and it takes a manager to give me another code?!

What a cheapskate nickle & diming policy is that?

My wife and I have been getting fuel at the McKenzie station in Calgary S.E. for nearly 15 years. It seems as the years go by, the housekeeping attitude is getting worse and worse. We both have speed passes, which we love, but this convenience only works when the Tiger lights up. Many times when we get diesel, the pump we choose decides not to accept the speed pass. Now we have to move our vehicle to another pump which can be very frustrating, because many times the remaining three diesel pumps are occupied, and our vehicle will have to face in the right direction. We have complained about it numerous times, and many days later, the speed pass still did not work. Solution: Make sure speed pass functions are working, on daily basis.
We appreciate that diesel is not easy to clean, however, when sometimes fueling up at other ESSO gas stations in Calgary, the handles are clean, the nozzles are not dripping, the pumps themselves are clean, they have paper sheets in their dispensers and there is water to clean the windows. Why is it so difficult for the McKenzie station to offer the same ?. Solution: While checking if all speed passes work, wipe down the handles/pumps/hoses... and if there is an issue, have it looked after immediately.
We don't think what we're asking for is unreasonable, please be so kind and inform the owner.

I had my car washed on Sunday 15th, 2017 0n 1465 Princess Street in Kingston Ontario. During the washing the car by the car wash machine I was hearing strange noise in the car. After being washed the car I noticed the car was not washed not properly and the worse thing was the front wheel was damaged. The Rim was broken and the tire got deep scratched. The attendant took photo of the matter and my contact information and promised me in 48 hours his manager will call me. Nobody called me in the next 3 days. I went there twice and asked to reach the manager or owner but they refused to give me the contact information. The last time even the attendant accused me with having damaged already in car and it was my fault during the washing the car to not follow the instructions as if it is my first time to have the car washed. I sent an e-mail to ESSO but I have not heard back yet. I attached the receipt and in the back of it you can see that the attendant wrote that the front wheel damaged by car wash.

This gas station is on my way and buy gas and timhortons coffee from here. After filling gas and my purchase I wanted to use washroom but told its out of service. First and secocond time, I tought its a coincidence but span of 3 weeks it is still ouy of service. I beleive they have to maintain the washroom not only for better customer service but also by city law as well having convenient store and timhortons full service cafe.

Please look into it.

After a long trip from Toronto back to my home town Kanata, went to Esso station at 501 Terry Fox for a car wash. It's a deluxe car wash with under car splash. The under-car wash part didn't work during service, went in talked to the manager, he responded "I just used the cash wash machine myself 20 mins ago, it worked well, don't understand why yours didn't work." I noticed that they were closing the gas station because of some unexpected events. The manager said again "We are closing, PLEASE LEAVE, come back again tomorrow!" He said with a tone that like 'don't want to talk to you, please don't brother me and leave!
Ask me to leave? I am a customer, right?
My car had a few days on wet salty roads during the trips in Toronto, the under-car wash part is very important, and I paid for the service, it didn't work, I went in to talk, was asked to leave!
This esso station is like my home gas station, come a few times a week. Now I feel so angry on this incident. The thing that made me so mad is, the bad attitude of the manager.

I would like to pass on my thoughts of the service you appear to be providing at the Glastonbury petrol station of yours, in the South West of England.

I am local to the town- since birth and I was absolutely discusted with how rude one members of your staff are. On one particular occasion, I had a parcel delivered to the patrol station, had not been given a 'delivery code' by the company making the delivery and your member of staff was shrugging her shoulders and talking down to me. Don't bother to reply to this message, unless you fully intend on tackling her approach to customers.

Just to had- if I had a pound for every time I had heard other customers on the petrol station forecourt say "that women's rude" I'd be a rich man. I will leave my number at the bot9m of this email, should you want to contact me directly.

I got my car washed at the Esso at Weston Rd and hwy 7 on December 23, 2016. Once the wash finished I usually inspect my car as i look around my car I noticed scratches on the tip panel of the door then I look walking around and I notice more scratches everywhere now. I then called the phone # provided on the receipt to address any concerns or comments and a man picked up said hello not even introducing himself as an Esso employee I thought I might called a wrong number but than I asked is this esso? The man said yes I then explained my concern to him but he was very dismissive and told me to go to the station the next morning (today) to show him the damage. I still went to the attendant at the gas station to show him the damages he came out with me to see the damages and took photos of it and told me to come back tomorrow to speak with the owner of the station named Naji. Ok so this is where the situation got interesting, myself and I husband who was with me at the time of the car wash went the next morning to speak with the owner. As soon as I walked in the station I saw a older man at the counter wearing plain clothes no uniform. I asked to speak with the owner and he started raising his voice at me stating that his car wash didn't damage my car. I told him to please come out with me so I can show him the damages he hesitated but came out. As I was showing him he started to yell at me saying that I'm making this up and that I'm a liar. At point there was no way to get a word in as he wasn't letting speak. He then walked away and left us with no resolution. My husband then went back inside to further speak to him. My husband told him that there no reason to speak us that way and his customer service was horrible. The owner Naji then said that he will call the police to have them be the judge but I know full well the police are there for that. He still insisted to call and once he did he told the operator that he needs the police to be present as we are causing a disturbance. We only there to show him the damages and to come to a resolution. The operator stated the police will not be attending as this is a civil matter. The operator asked the owner to pass the phone to us and she told us that this is a civil matter and have it go to civil court. We definitely will take it to court. I urge no one go to that esso station on the corner of Weston Rd and hwy 7. The staff there are extremely rude and have no respect for their customers. I felt very respected by the owner Naji. Bad business practices!

My girlfriend went to esso in victoria british columbia at shelborne street and mckenzie. She purchased a car wash at the pump. Then she found out that the car wash was not available because it was getting fixed. So she had to travel to a another esso pay for a nother car wash on the same day. Why would the original esso sell her a car wash at the pump if it was broken? I called them and spoke to mohit kumar who said he was the manager. He said she could come in and use the code in a certain period of time. I tried to negotiate a complimentary car wash due to the fact she wasted time, money, gas, and the fact that I had to make a phone call and send this email to you. I would like to speak with someone in corporate who can speak to mohit kumar and tell him that this is poor customer service and you should not sell something, a service, you cannot provide that day. She wanted her car washed that day not a week later not 25 days later. That day. Mohit kumar kept stating that there is nothing he can do and she has to wait until it's fixed. I think this is complete bs and unprofessional and poor customer service. I would like you to either call me or email me asap and we can help solve this problem and deal with it in a professional manner. When I was discussing this issue with him he said I was arguing which made me frustrated because I was not arguing was just stating the facts. And when he said I was arguing that's when I actually got mad. He wasn't listening he couldn't understand what I was saying. It was totally unprofessional, unwarranted and is this how you want esso represented? So all we want out of this is for her to use the car wash that she paid for as well as a complementary one for wasting all of her time, money gasoline, and my time as well sending this. Thank you. This is the second time within one week where the staffs in this particular gas station did not follow the company policy. The gas station has a policy where customers get free Luxury car wash if customers are not asked for a car wash. The signs are everywhere all over the place on the gas station.
This particular employee that I saw 10 minutes ago refused to give me Luxury car wash after he did not ask me whether I want to buy car wash or not. The sign specifically says *Enjoy a free Luxury car wash if we don't ask! When paying inside at the counter. Attendant must ask prior to processing payment.*
I live just right around the corner and also have Esso membership card. I go to get gas from this location all the time. What's the point having the signs all over the place when staffs don't follow them?!
I even took the picture of the sign, walked back to the store, and attempted to show it to the attendant. He was not interested obviously since he knows he is in the wrong. He kept insisting that I didn't leave the store yet so I am not entitled for the free car wash. He was rude and belittling customers!

My other bad experience was on 12/15/2016 with cashier named Sean aka "Naketo" aka "Nakito"

He flat out lied to me by saying that the promotion is no longer valid. I told him that it is and the signs are all over the place. He then continued to offered for a regular car wash instead trying to bargain with me. I insisted that he should follow the company's policy. He then agreed to provide me with the luxury car wash.

If Esso support these types of staffs who do not follow the company's policy, then the signs are pretty much are misrepresentation from Esso. I hope to hear back from you soon.

On December 7, 2016, in Edmonton, Alberta at a location of 4950 Calgary Trail, store number 37825, approximately at 16:32 hours, I asked a customer service representative of the store, her name on the Tag is Simran, to give me discount of car wash. She refused this. Another customer service representative, a male, named on his clothe tag is Tumraj. He told me as I first had to have fuel to get discount on car wash and told me to fill fuel first. I want and filled the fuel, and asked for the car wash that available for everyone at discount. He also refused this.

Next, I asked him to give me the phone number of the store manager to present the complaint. He gave me [protected] and advised me to speak with this manager. I want outside and phoned on this. Tumraj himself was start to speak with me over the phone as if he was different person. I asked over the phone as he is the same person but I want to speak with manager of the store. He denied stating that he was different person who work at 7-11 store.

Summery:
1) I am denied the car wash discount with fuel that available for any person.
2) Tumraj tricked me twice: a) to fill first fuel and to give me car wash discount which he finally refused this though; b) He represent himself over the phone as if he was different person.

I never saw such chicanery and discriminatory store.

I ask to give me the discount that available for any person.

Esso at 3800 kingston road, on m1j 3h5, was dealt with an arrogant cashier - karan. I have on numerous previous occasions complained about my esso privilege card not working.
He has always been saying go online - check your email. Which I did after the first time, subsequently I have been telling him even after going on line no following instructions the card is not working.
This occasion when I started telling him, he cut me off and curtly said go online and check your email. When I remind him that this has been my complaint for so many occasions, he said it's okay if you don't won't to listen. When I tell him he should simply replace the card, he says it there (pointing with his face), behind me - take it!

When I start to leave the store, he calls loudly from behind me and says have a good day.

I do not remember the name of a person but I was polite and said, "Hi" to him, no respond, then I paid and said, "thank you, have a good evening" he sipped his coffee from Him Hortons and ignored me. How should we call it? Customer service? As a customer I need some respect to me and i am paying money for that kind of service if you can not provide it than I would go to the company who can do it better. Thank you

Last week I went to esso, located at Clearbrook and Oak. I bought a family sized chocolate bar that was in a box by the cash register. After getting home and opening the package I saw the bar had gone bad, and was completely white on the back side. The next day I returned the bar. I was willing to try another one, but there weren't any left, so I received a refund.

Last night I went to this location again, and again bought a family size bar, different brand, located in the same spot. Again I got home and found this bar had gone bad too. I went back to the store about a half hour ago to exchange it, if there were more of this brand. I told the cashier I would exchange it, since there were two more left. I wasn't going to leave the store without opening it. I opened it, and it too was white, having gone bad. I tried the last one, and it too was bad.

The owner was there and got very mad at me for opening the bars. I told him I wasn't going to just leave without checking to make sure the chocolate hadn't gone bad. I asked him if he gets these bars from somewhere other than his grocery distributor. He declined to answer, and said the bars were fine and that they went white from being exposed to the sun, due to where they were located. That can't be true, since the sun doesn't hit that location, and the sun would not cause the entire box to go bad on the back side of the bar. Wherever he received these bars (likely greatly discounted), the bars came in a rancid state.

I've been going to this location for about 4yrs, and these two times are the only times I've purchased a family size bar, and today is the first time I've had problems with this location. It was clear that the owner would rather sell expired chocolate than to know his product has gone bad. He, and his cashier were both extremely rude to me, and I was told to go to another store.

I have no problem taking my business to somewhere else, like maybe Shell, which is just down the street. The issues I have is that an Esso owner, and staff member would act so indignant towards me, and be willing to sell product that has gone bad.

I will await a reply from Esso, and if not satisfied, I will make a formal report with the food safety agency in my city.

Store # [protected] purchase a ultimate car was for the price of $16.94 after receiving the ticket I proceed to getting the car wash with the wash wasn't working went back into store for my refund and was informed I couldn't get back my money and the ticket is only valid at that said location listed I reside in Windsor Ont and the location of the gas station is by Williams Pkwy and Chingcouasy that's a 4 hour drive just to come back for a wash witch is ridiculous my contact info is [protected] I would never recommend anyone ti use ESSO for gas or a wash this is the worst customer service the manage said he is not leaving his house to come and speak with me or neither on the phone VRN:R104855408

On 11 October 2016, I tried to purchase gasoline at the Esso station ([protected]) at 1890 Jane St (Jane & Church) but the pump failed to dispense any gas. This was a prepay station and the purchase would have been for $50. I had the transaction cancelled after a couple of attempts and got a receipt to that effect. But when I checked my credit card statement, I noticed they had charged me $30.01 on 13 October.

I visited the station twice to resolve it and was treated quite rudely each time. Indeed, on the second visit, a man who described himself as "the owner", named Dave, told me "It doesn't work like that. You can't just walk in here and demand 30 bucks" (or words to that effect). He only agreed to even investigate when I explained that I wasn't asking him for his money but for mine. He took a photo of the receipts with his cell phone and took my contact details, promising to call me the next day, but as of today, 24 November, he hasn't.

To be sure, I've actually got my money back through MasterCard, but my concern is to prevent this from happening to anyone else. But the regrettable thing is that it's been impossible to get anyone at Esso to take this fraud (for that’s precisely what it is) seriously. I emailed their Customer Services on 3 Nov and received an automated response promising my “query will be addressed shortly” but I’ve heard nothing back since. I telephoned Esso Customer Services today at [protected], but the fellow I spoke with seemed to have no interest.

Today about 1230pm, I goto esso, finch/don mill intersection, toronto, ontario for gas refill. At pump#11, I press the nozzle, just seeing the money meter rolling, but gas not coming out, then pump stop automatically after 2sec. I repeat the process again, money meter roll for 2sec, stop automatically and no gas again . Finally, I try third time and still same thing happens. I go to the counter and complaint about this. Manager there, asking me try another pump, but I still need to request to pay for that manfunction one. Finally, I paid what i not suppose to be paid since i am in a hurry appointment. But it is kind of bad experience about ESSO services.

I went to esso petrol station for filling up my bike at Singapore, Yishun Ave 9 this morning. After filling up, the pump assistant asked to me to move my bike away to give in for cars. I was surprised and told him that i haven't paid for the service yet. He told me to move my bike so that other car can park and do the petrol filling.

Ok.. Its seems like a small matter indeed, right? But I was wondering why this discrimination. I am not rich and I am beginning to hate esso service. A big american oil company and I am a nobody. I felt quite bad about the service and had to move my bike.

If it happen again at esso, I will never visit esso again. Of course, it's laughable. What's my bike with full tank about 8L compared to the bigger volume such as cars?

But there are other stations like Shell, Caltex and SPC at Singapore..

I went for a quick car wash to clean my new car . I had not driven in extra dirty conditions or even on the highway, it was mostly dirty from being driven in the rain.

The car wash did nothing ... and i mean not a thing . The car looked the exact same way as i drove in . I went back to the store and told the person working there who identified himself as the manager (Nook) who came out to look at my car in the parking lot and told me that i should have got a more expensive car wash and this is what i paid for . I said that this was not acceptable and i would like a refund. To which her replied no, no, no and walked away from me ! I was left in the stunned by the rudeness of this interaction . At the same time a elderly man came to complain about his car wash and i watched a similar scene play out where he was arguing with the gentleman about his car, which was clearly not cleaned properly . He also left this man in the parking lot without addressing his concerns ?!
I am shocked if this is actually the manager of this location and how he deals with customers. I live in this area and have been using this Esso for the past 15+ years, but i will never be back now.

Yesterday on July 16th, 2016. I purchased $20.00 gas for the Alberta Beach Esso gasbar. After I fueled my vehicle and paid for it I went to use the customers only restroom (there was a sign posted).

When i walked out the the restroom from across the store the cashier/owner started yelling at me that the restroom is for customers only. I stated that I purchase fuel and there is no need to yell. He continued to yell at me to get out of his store and that its only for customers only. He was being so outraged that his wife ran out of the back room to hold him back while i tried explaining i just purchased fuel minutes before. He then said F YOU and get the F out of my store!

This situation left me confused and has also made me rethink purchasing fuel from esso ever again.

I drove all the way from Toronto to Brampton to drop my customer on Tuesday July 05/2016 evening with limited amount of gas which only can be enough for a one way trip. After I dropped of my customer I went to the closest Esso station which is located on 9800 chinguacousy rd (chinguacousy rd/ Williams pkwy) around 10:20pm to get gas and use a wash room at the same time. As the nature call was not giving me time till I pump the gas, I left my car by the pump and run to the store washroom. When I tried it to open the washroom it was locked. I went to the cashier(her name is Ruppet ) and asked for a key she to told me to ask the other guy who was receiving deliveries for the keys. He responded me he doesn't know about the key and sent me back to the cashier. As I told her what he said she told me that the washroom is out of order and she can't give me the keys where there was no out of order sign hanged on the door and the vacant sign is on. I never have been experiencing this kind of situation in any Esso gas station which is my preferred gas station where I get gas every other day and some times every day due to the nature of my job. I even went to this gas station to pay a higher price which was 99.6 cents as there was a cheaper price 95.1 cents at the shell gas station which was very close, because Esso was my preferred station. To make the long story short, I got my gas from shell gas station with a cheaper price, used the washroom and drove back to Toronto.

I tried to attached the pictures of the washroom doors which shows that there is no out of order sign posted and the receipt i paid for gas at the shell gas station; but the page wouldn't let me.
