in stunning Vavau there is this guy that goes by the name of Gordon Allison (a scam artist from zimbabwe) who is selling holiday homes at at Nuapapu island in Vavau, Tonga to investors - problem is Gordon Allison started building on land that was already leased out! he knew that the American who leased this particular block of the land at Nuapapu island in Vavau was a foreigner residing overseas- SO he approached the deceased owners son and managed to get him to “re-lease” the SAME block of land! Gordon then went about “subdividing this land” read: illegal. marketing it to Australian and New Zealand and other “investors”... Now this went to court, as the foreign leasee found out that Gordon not only got an illegal lease on for his lot but he built on it and was now SELLING IT OFF to "investors"! SO, a caveat was quickly put on the land, and Gordon was told by the court that he can not built or sell his “ investment housing” on Nuapapu... but Gordon Allison is still selling it! . Gordon admitted in court to fleecing Australian and New Zealand investors to the tune of AUD $2, 000, 000!... and that he was / still is selling 99 year leases (99 lease does not exist on this land it’s maximum 20 year lease on it this type of tax allotment as they call it in Tonga.
Now the original lease holder will be reclaiming that land through the courts (contact lawyer laki nui in tongatapu to verify)...so all those poor investors who had given Gordon their hard earned money, now will be kissing it goodbye- most are still entirely unaware as the lies Gordon can spin are literally endless- put simply they’ve lost their money as Gordon Allison will hightail it with the $2million scammed, in the mean time though he’s still selling the dream to suckers – well i hope this saves some poor sucker from parting with their hard earned AUD$150, 000 – $180, 000.
hummm such is the predicament one can find in less regulated jurisdictions. so be smart, don't be a fool with your money and always rely on yourself & your judgement AND do your due diligence.

Gordon Allison continues on his fraudulent ways with one shonky deal after another. It is a pity someone in Govt will not gather all the information against this smooth talking leech and his equally slime ball son and tie them up for public flogging. Tonga does not deserve ### like this! Unfortunately too many local Govt officials are equally corrupt. Deal with a reputable lawyer on the mainland of Nukualofa if leasing land. If ### Allison graces your door step shoot him, pest control is legal

what was needed from court was to tell Gordon to get the ### out of the property leave everything behind since he entered an illegal contract with the land owner's son. Land owner & gordon should have been handcuffed and taken to prison for the illegal deal with gordon. Shoudn't gordon deserve to be in jail for the scam he created rather than staying free to do more scams.
