On July 26, 2009 I placed an order to buy a Laser Hair Removal called EPILA, through the official web site www.epila.net for a cost of USD 179.95. According to the terms and information displayed on the site, they can send it internationally to any country using a door to door service which has an extra cost of USD29.95 both concepts included on the billing to my credit card. The time for the shipping was from 7 to 14 working days but has been already 2 months since then and I never received the product and they are not giving my money back.
A few weeks ago I got in contact with Paypal as the transaction was made through them and I followed all the procedures to ask for my money back. Paypal carried out an investigation and resolved that the provider should give me the money back but they have been unable to do it as the provider (Vital Solutions on behalf of EPILA) has NO FUNDS on its Paypal account. I’ve been searching on the internet and there are a lot of people from CHILE in the same situation, they payed but never received anything and also the provider is unreachable by phone or email. I am currently trying to locate all the people affected so we can commonly fight for our money and also to force this website to finish its fraudulent operations.
