On December 22, 2010 I received my kitten from loveragdolls.com
He was of course very upset about the flight (I will never do that again) and had severe ear mites and was very dirty. We took him to our Vet ASAP and he also had worms and a upper respiratory infection. Since then he has been back twice for breathing problems.
We also have still not received his paperwork. I never did know the actual breeders name everything went Loveragdolls.com I have contacted the Broker, Paula in Vegas and they keep telling me that TCIA is running 8 weeks behind on paperwork. It took me awhile to find out the breeders cattery name Elegant Ragdolls.
I have purchased many purebreds over the years but this is my first experience with a ragdoll. They are a Beautiful breed, and I dearly love my new baby. I have never had a bad experience with any other breeders we have dealt with. I would highly recommend NOT using this breeder.
It is very clear that once you pay them they do not care about anything, also it very much surprised me that they did Not want to talk to my Vet before the sale. They are only in it for the money, not for the kittens well being.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have received my cats and they seem to be perfectly fine I have a 3yr2m and a 3 month old kitten. I have a vet visit soon to make sure they are good to go but the communication with the seller was actually pretty good they answered all my questions and my kitties didn't look in bad shape. They are the sweetest cats but very shy at first I don't understand but they warmed up to me really quick. I am sorry to hear about your kitten that sounds awful it makes me wonder if there is going to be any later health problems for my cats. I havnt received any TICA paper for my 3 yr old kitty and they told me they would send them when they are spayed and the 3 yr old is so im just waiting they are probably very busy.
I was wondering if this has now changed names to ABC Ragdolls? Anyone know?
I wouldn't do business with these people again for anything! My daughter wanted me and my husband to have one as a gift! She also wanted one for her daughter, so we chose two! I ONLY wanted a female, so I picked one out. About 2-3 days before they were due to fly out, I got notice that the one I chose wasn't a female but a male! Oops! Wasn't another female available that I cared for so I decided to keep the one I chose. We get the two kittens, and mine didn't have blue eyes, even though he did in his photo! Blue eyes are a character trait of ragdolls. Any way, several months later 6/7 my daughter's kitten gets some kind of a kidney disorder. So the vet put the kitten on medication and for awhile was doing well. To make a long story short the vet couldn't save the kitten, they even suggested we might be able to do a sex change, but the kitten was so sick that the vet called and said it had to be put down. The breeders wouldn't work with us in any way. Wouldn't answer emails. So we had a heart broken 7 yr. old little girl! Love ragdolls could have worked with us, but didn't/wouldn't! I finished paying for my kitten, and to this day 13/14 months later still don't have papers on my kitten. They told me they would send them upon receipt of my check and that was like the first part of May. Still no papers! There's something wrong when you can't pick up a phone and talk to someone! When someone claims they never saw your emails, but yet y ou have responses from someone! What kind of business are they running? They haven't followed through with ANYTHING! Jessica promised me in writing that upon receipt of my check she would mail the papers! Lie! I DO NOT recommend them to anyone!

I'VE SEEN YOUR COMPLAINTS OVER AND OVER. YOU ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT ALMOST EVERY BREEDER OUT THERE, YOU ARE JUST USING A DIFFERENT NAME. (SO, WAS IT THE 10th OR 12TH BIRTHDAY FOR YOUR DAUGHTER?)

I have a ragdoll that I purchased from the above and he is the most amazing, healthy cat. They helped me through the buying process and answered every questioned I had. My cat was flown in a very comfortable crate with plush bedding and toys. The flight didn't seem to phase him at all. If I could afford another ragdoll I would buy from them again. Hearsay should not deter a buyer from purchasing a kitten from this company. In any business there will always be a few unhappy consumers. You can't please everyone.

People need to do their homework and buy from ETHICAL breeders that follow ethical practice. If you buy from someone that doesn't have a standard in place...you have no one to blame...there are PLENTY of good breeder, and even good breeders can't make everyone happy all the time

Glad to say it is not me posting under others names, I acutally have the balls to say in person what I need or want to say. I may have my differences with other breeders but I tell them to their face it has NOTHING to do with being scared of competition, I was here first and I bet I'll be here last. I take great pride in knowing my clients are treated well without the hassle of gossip, lawyers, mediation, etc
Re Zachary: Freaks as you call the variants, well now if freaks as you call them were not bred together in the beginning then you wouldn't even have the Ragdoll breed ! According to Ann Baker (whom I personally know several of her friends) she bred, persian, turkish van, angora and reg domestics to get the Ragdoll breed.

No one MAKES you buy a cat from a particular breeder, do your homework, check your facts and info, meet the breeder in person, see the cats in person, ASK MANY QUESTIONS ! Then Choose !
Personally it is a breeders choice in what they do with their cats!
At Pinkertons, We DNA test, We test for Fiv/Felv
we spay/neuter, kittens never leave under 12 weeks, are weaned at their own pace. For catteries signing ethic's rules with registeries you first have to have your own ethichs to abide by or those papers mean NOTHING ! And YES, I did see on Ragadazzle site that for the warranty you have to provide them with Nuvet products and yes breeders do get kickbacks from that, which is why I dont use Nuvet. Maybe she has changed that IDK, I have far more better things to do wtih my time then check on all the other Ragdoll breeders websites here in GA.
