I ordered some stuff from the website www.electronics8881.com. After I sent them my payment in amount of $300, the seller didn’t provide the confirmation email. I started to send emails, but no one replied. The seller provided only email address, but he didn’t respond to it. I have no idea what measures to take now. Please leave comments about this website, because people should be aware when they deal with such irresponsible people.
Thanks u all your words made it so I never order from these guys thanks for saving my pocketbook
Thank you so much for warning me of this scam. Their new web address is 2656electronics.com for all of you out there filing a complaint. Good luck!
can someone tell me how to get my money back from paypal? I also was scammed by these crooks. I did file a dispute but to continue with paypal i have to add a valid website, which the website is no longer up. it was 6241 electronics
Thank you everyone for the heads up it seemed to good and proved to be a scam.
Unfortunately there were victims .hopefully not in vein
Their new website was just opened on 11/18/14 www.3358electronics.com. I couldn't find any information good or bad about the site before purchasing until I saw under their contact information they hadn't updated the new site name. It was electronics8881.COM and that is how I found it was a scam. I just wanted to add the new site name so if someone does a search hopefully it will lead them to all of your information about this horrible scam and save them from the same experience. I am so glad I found this before I purchased anything. Thank you all for taking the time to help others.
I too was was going to purchase from this site thinking to good to be true I got suspicious when I saw that they accept western union and wire transfer so I emailed them just to inquire about there products no response and the next day the site was gone I was happy 😌 I didn't purchase from this scam site
Yea they got me for $59 on a galaxy note3...well its a good thing I paid through PayPal. ..its one thing as Americans we have to understand nothing n life is cheap unless u buy it from a crackhead or thief...or u know people with connections...God dang YELLOW dONGS..
YES THEY ARE A SCAM!
ALL the websites with numbers first then followed by the word "electronics" that I have researched are scams! Rob3027 gave good advice on what red flags to look for - please read it.
I too ordered an electronic component, didn't tell my kids what item it was (PS4) because I didn't want them to get their hopes up just in case. I told my boys that the deal seemed too good to be true & that I had high suspensions - yet being a single disabled mom with 3 kids at home I hoped the website was legit as the price they offered was the only way I could afford to buy my boys this item that they so desperately want to own.
I received in the mail a small envelope, the kind with small bubble wrap lining, with a $1 U.S. coin inside. I had no clue it was from this website (I ordered from 686electronics.com) or who the sender was as the "From" section was all in Chinese. The postal carrier scanned the bar code & left, now those scammers have record of me receiving something from them. Sigh...
Inside the envelope was the coin & nothing else.
I never received confirmation from them on my order, no emails on shipment, nothing from them at all. I attempted after 1 week to contact them & their website was down.
It's been almost a month to the day when I received the coin & I have spent hours trying to figure out who sent it. I had several other small & cheap orders from China expected in that I purchased off e-bay so I thought originally one them accidentally sent me the wrong item. Thanks to this website mostly, and a few others, I was able to research several other websites this scam company has had, none stay up for more than 3 months, most are down after just 1 month.
THANK YOU so much to poster Rob3027 for providing their current website! Without that info I was not able to complete my claim with Paypal.
*The only thing I had from these scammers was on my Paypal receipt it showed a tracking number. The number was legit & I went to the China Post website & was able to track that indeed a package was being sent to me. So I pushed back my internal "warning" alarms & hoped for the best. Sigh...
I have filed a claim with Paypal, I hope to get my money back & hope by me posting this & all the details of my transaction/experience I can help others.
Good Luck!
*If this works, I have attached a screen shot of the Chinese electronics scammers homepage website so no matter what they change their name to, they keep the same look, same products, same prices, and others hopefully will see my photo and know the website they are at is indeed a scam & to not order from them.
electronics8881.COM has changed to http://www.6241electronics.com/ and takes paypal payments through
taolimei8793gafg@hotmail.com. They seem to change their ID as soon as they are found out and reports and complaints begin to affect their business. Here is what should tip you off to scammers like this 1) takes only PayPal or Western Union or Wire Transfer...BIG RED FLAG ! Their website is written in poor quality english or uses ackward english phrases like "Top Sell"
It appears they are changing their web site I found them on 686electronics today, complained to paypal and have a dispute. Paypal gives them too much time to dispute so they float our money in the meantime and some probably give up. Paypal seems to be complicit
That's correct! I do not have to repeat the same story. Each one of you were telling the truth. Therefore, that is for real concerning the SCAM. First there was a bad host name for 986electronics.com. Then I found another after another with a different seller. Again, you were telling the truth. Thanks all of you for your comments!
Yea i got scammed too mine was for $47 i am trying to dispute it with paypal but they got a tracking number and i have no way to track it it really upsets me that paypal would have this many complaints and still deal wth this account. hoping i will get my money back not looking too good at this point
Like on the 14 late at night i went to 138elecronics.com
Once i ordered an iphone th nxt day i checked my account and showed me
It was being prepared still on the 15.
So I recieved a Confirmation.
I got my tracking number and supposely the item was shipped.
So I tracked it on both Ups and CHINA POST Carrier.
Nothing was valid. Item wasnt found.
So I emailed Seller and Company i told company ither they send my item or i get my
Money back. And the seller i just told him to give me my item and prove to me that its shipped. No Respond... So later i woke up and went to the page and it was temporarly moved or down. I tried different numbers on the website and found it again.
I will report it today in the afternoon. The internet need to start gettin rid of scams and start makin securities or sumthin. I was so exited but people hav no heart so f@#! Them too.
I ordered a laptop and a desktop and I received a tracking number for both of them. I was waiting for the seller to get back to me and he never got back in contact with me. I told PayPal to close my case and just give me my money back and they did! Thank God for that! They told me, if the items comes just pay the seller. I looked up the tracking at China Post and seen that the Item was in New york and will be here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin shortly. I missed the mail man and then I went to the post office to pick up the package. Looking for a big box. The mail carrier gave me a small envelope with a small item in it and then I opened it to find out that it was a dollar coin in it. I was disappointed and my daughter told me I told you ma! I knew it was not legit. They scammed you. I got another piece of mail coming and I just want to tell them to send it back to the seller. I will see what this package contains, I know another coin. Just be careful I want do that one no more. It was too good to be true!
I am afraid I have been scammed by these idiots. Now their site, electronics.com is down. I ordered a "47 dollar Galaxy S III" and paid using Paypal. I have launched a complaint because I have not received anything from these people. In hindsight, it is my fault because they enticed me to order their crap outside Ebay and like a fool, I went ahead and took their bait. When a deal is too good to be true, IT IS. Learned the hard way.
OMG! Electronics6669 is not a legit site. I order 335.00 of stuff and never receive my items yet. I receive a tracking # the next day i went to the site, they had took it down. Now these crooks scam some many people and pal pal deal with these people. I work hard for my US DOLLARS. Im very angry and i will never ever order from China .
Yeah, I had contact with the company; however, I have a really good mail carrier that called my cell phone and said that the envelope was really tiny... got home and litarelly it was completely empty. Filed a complaint with Paypal this morning. What a mess!
Let us know how you make out... I also received a tracking number ... nothing else.
I'm intrigued because I have actually received correspondence from this company, I did purchase something, via Paypal. I received a confirmation email, tracking number, everything. Supposed to be delivered today... Guess I'll see what happens when I'm able to get home and inspect the package. I think I'll be disputing though from the sound of it.
Totally agree... this website is a total sham... Also surprised that Paypal is still dealing with this site.
The seller is using various websites such as electronics6669 which seems to get directed to electronics.com. I bought a tv using PayPal and am in the process of disputing the purchase. Amazing that PayPal hasn't removed this seller's acct. Seller is probably still scamming more people.
I also ordered from this web site and received a one dollar coin so that they could provide a tracking number. I only ordered from this site because they accepted Paypal payments. I contacted Paypal and they wanted me to return the coin to get a refund, which I did... it cost me 6.55 to return the coin to china... so I will still be out the 6.55 when I get the refund through Paypal. I can't believe Paypal would deal with a site like this. This site is a total sham... Be careful.
