Edjoiners and Orlando University are one. The Edjoiners recruitment agency calls you and tells you that you need to get a MBA through matching your experience. They recommend you to Orlando Univ and they will ask you to pay 499$.
I check with them and asked for evidence but nothing is there. Dont be amazed if they have a website, as it is nonsense.

Be safe guys.

Same story happened to me and my husband. But the guy called himself Hershay Mathews from Omni recruiters (which is a fake co.) And recommends MBA frm Asherton or Phoenix university. Randy wolf then calls frm the uni which is again fake one, and asked me to pay $500 enrollment fees. And they start to convince people to go for the MBA as they get amazing job opportunities with basic salaries ($6, 000) plus. In UAE. ThIs is all ###, please take care everyone these are fraudsters and scammers.

I got a similar call from a male person, "John Albert", claiming that he works for a recruitment agency called "Acapell Advisory" they got my resume from LinkedIn, he added that he got an opportunity in UAE that best fits my profile and told me about the amazing package (basic of $7800). But he claimed that the employer requires an MBA degree that I do not have, hence he recommended to have my experience assessed by one of the PLA universities such as McMillan, which I never heard about. What was suspicious that the person on the phone insisted to guide me on the phone through the website of the university (http://www.mcmillanuniversity.com/) and did not leave me before I was connected to someone on live chat, who I believe is the same person "John Albert" fooling me. After a short chat with a claimed female adviser she transferred me to another senior mail adviser who called himself "Jim Clark", after greetings he asked to call me on phone and surprisingly I received the call from the same number of the claimed recruitment agency.
After reviewing my full profile, he told me that I qualified for a 95% off scholar and I will just pay $500, which is the administrative fees. Again he was insisting that I go through the payment of $500 admin fee for the MBA and sent me on live chat a secure link, but the URL was different from the university (https://www.globaleducationexperts.com). By that stage I got rid of him as I claimed I need time to switch computer, however he tried to stay with me but I insisted that he call me back after 15mins.
Now the facts are:
- The recruitment agency guy calls himself "John Albert".
- The recruitment agency guy contacts you from the same phone number of the university adviser [protected]), however he tried first "+3433" but sound quality was bad.
- The claimed recruitment agency website is "http://acapelladvisory.com/".
- The claimed university website is "http://www.mcmillanuniversity.com/".
- The email address on the email sent from the recruitment agency is "careers@acapelladvisory.com" however sent via "directcontactpro.com" so obviously it is an alias email.
- The university adviser claimed name "Jim Clark".
- The email of the university adviser is "jclark@mcmillanuniversity.com"

Hopefully no one falls for such scam.

Guys, the same thing happened to me today!
Clearly and Indian guy trying to hide his accent by over pronunciation!
classic! recruiter from Brent and co called me first and spoke for over an hour about this job offer which sounded genuine! these guys do their homework! I just dont understand how they found my resume because he had all my details.. this is scary!
then another guy calls me few hours later from a 'mcmillan university' which is nonesense. and he insisted that I use the online chat on their website, i was skeptical from the begining but thats when i was sure its a scam. They probably want to hack your system and get yet more information out of you.
And they are in such a rush to enroll you in their program for USD 899 ... another thing that gave it out was that the second guy called me from the same no as the recruiter!
PLEASE DONT FALL FOR THIS...

I had received the same call right now, one person from Neon adv. called me his Indian I'm sure about that, he talk with me about my experience and said his wondering why I don't have MBA, he encourage me to have it, he said he will recommend me to the said position if i get the MBA, he recommend the McMillan university and he said they will call me into 3 hours.
one person his name is Randy Wolf called me and talk around an hour with me about their program, he encourage me to MBA and asked me to give him my credit card information.
frankly I'm not giving my credit card number to anybody (My wife also LOOOL).. he gave me this contact name and number to send me to him in Saudi Arabia

I got the same call from Brentt & Co which started out as a job opportunity with amazing salary and perks. The only hiccup was a Master's degree which was attainable with a full scholarship in 10 days. Only 500$. Would I be able to pay that amount certainly. At the end instead of head hunting for a job it sounded exactly like a scam sales call to make you part with your money. The timing and precision to detail in the call was amazing. "I need to check with the employer whether he would be interested in your profile without a Masters" after 30 mins a call back and I was unable to get in touch with the employer but there is a solution for you. The magic masters degree within 10 working days because of your amazing work experience.
Beware guys these guys are professionals...

I just kept the call with one of the Brennt and Co. employees.. after asking me about my whole profile.. and telling me that this job would be good for you, might involve traveling and if you are okay with it.
After all that he was like however the job you have applied for requires Masters Degree. Any reason why you have not done it and blah blah blah!
Then he suggested I joined Phoenix University, they will sponsor you, you do not need to pay anything. Think about it and tried to convince me a lot and in the end he was like you only have to play 499$ upfront.
What the hell.. I dont get it why dont the police catch these scammers and put an end to this! It is becoming a very common thing to put up fake jobs and get people's hopes up high!

Thank you Google... :-)

I just got a phone call from EdJoiners too. At first I was surprised to get a phone call from the US at 10.30 GMT (5.30am EST !).
Then I realized they called me only 5 minutes after I applied for a job.
I don't know about night shifts for recruitment agencies, but this was impressive ! :-D
I got 2 emails from "Mark Taylor", but I got even more suspicious when I saw "mtaylor@edjoiners.com via mail5.us4.mandrillapp.com"

I still have to receive anything from the "University" though... But I guess this will finish in the recycle bin. :-)
Thanks everyone for the feedbacks. Many people (including myself) saved $500 only by reading this page. ;-)

I've had a call from EDjoiners telling me the same story, I did not have enough educational qualification for some of the jobs offered by their clients. I have a first class masters degree from the London School of Economics!

They confirmed that I needed a PhD because a Masters is just not enough! Wonder what the guys at LSE will have to say about their Masters Degree being no match to a PhD from Orlando University!

I have since received emails and calls from a guy called Jay Williams from Orlando University giving me details of the graduation pack and seeking my credit card details to process the admin fee of $499! Infact he's upped his offer to $2499 to get the degree attested and legalised by US Department of Distance Learning and also endorsed by the UAE embassy in the USA to prove this is authentic!

If you want to have some fun, log on to their website and start a chat with them... Guaranteed amusement! Just dont pay them anything!

I actually applied for one of their jobs, which, thinking back, was quite general. So a guy called me and said that my educational level was not enough (I have two Masters degrees !) for their clients and therefore I MUST get a PhD degree from Orlando University. He added that, given my experience and educational background, I am eligible to get a PhD degree in a few weeks. (Oh you fools who spend years trying to get it. Look! I am getting it in a few weeks!) And it will cost a few hundreds of dollars. No big deal!
Edjoiners is a SCAM. Do not pay them any money! In-a-few-weeks-PhD or MBA is a nonsense.
I just wonder what would that guy have told me I had already got a PhD?
