eBay warning about vendors &no refunds& policy and poor quality products!

If any reader of this instant warning/complaint about Ebay vendor "Vanguard Distributors" takes a moment to "Google-ize" the phrase "piccot123", she/he will see all of the positive AND negative "feedback" published about me by various Ebay VENDORS as a result of my many Ebay online purchases. I am an Ebay BUYER, not a vendor.

One of the (only two) negative feedbacks there about me is by an Ebay vendor doing business as "Vanguard Distributors", who makes knowingly FALSE statements that I am a "WORST CRAZY EBAYER... VENDOR BEWARE... MULTIPLE CHARGEBACK ARTIST!... DANGEROUS NUT!"

This deliberately false negative feedback was in retaliatory response to my merely demanding from "Vanguard Distributors" a full REFUND for the poor quality TV they sold me. (I have just today, 11-6-07, lodged a FORMAL complaint with the Ebay officials, demanding that they force said Ebay vendor to WITHDRAW his slanderous feedback against me and, moreover, that they DISCIPLINE him for such unprofessional behavior.)

CONCLUSION: All Ebay, Internet, and otherwise online BUYERS/SHOPPERS, such as this writer, are hereby warned, in good faith, to think twice before doing any kind of business with Ebay vendor "Vanguard Distributors" for the following reasons: (1.) This vendor has a strick "NO REFUNDS" policy, so, if dissatisfied with a product, one must try to get their money back via their own personal bank, Visa card agent, or by other non-vendor means; (2.) Said vendor sells very poor quality 7" LCD flat panel TV's made by a China-based company called "SUPER"; (3.) Said vendor publishes on Ebay knowingly FALSE/SLANDEROUS negative feedback when an Ebay buyer lodges negative feedback against him for legitimate reasons; (4.) And, lastly, said vendor, "Vanguard Distributors", operates out of a mere US Postal Service P.O. Box, rather than a legitimate BUSINESS ADDRESS.

To wit, for all of the foregoing reasons, may all online BUYERS beware of said Ebay vendor "Vanguard Distributors". Thank you.

Paul H. Piccot

eBay buyer reversed charges!

I sold a pair of very expensive bedding shams for $125.00 to an ebayer ,she was quite happy with her items and left me perfect feedback,I was happy with her.She made a fast and timely payment to me through Paypal all was well. Over 3 weeks later her bank reversed the charges and without any notice to me at all, my paypal acct. is deducted 125.00! Paypal did not even seem to know what had happened or how it happened. The buyer claimed to not know why they reversed it. I am assuming she may have bounced a bunch of checks or something. Anyway I have offered for her to just send me back the shams and we will just forget the whole mess.

However I guess she must really want to hang onto them as she will not even mail them back to me! I would like to serve this as a warning to others not only on Ebay but inher area, she is a thief and has no conscience. Her name is Paula Willbanks, 101 E. Cardinal Street., Ector ,Texas 75439. I hope maybe she will see this and do the right thing before I have to go ahead and send in small claims papers. Thank you for this great service you offer.

Hummm, that's funny..I came across this complain after googling "willbanks101@yahoo.com" because I am selling a vehicle and I received an email from this person but they have an IP in China which I found to be suspicious which is another reason I wanted to see about this person. I also found another person selling a trailer that had been approached by same email/person. Now that I see it is not "Will Banks" but this Paula Willbanks at 101 E. Cardinal St..the email makes sense now. I am glad I saw this post and while I am sorry you had to suffer the wrath of this Paula, please know that your complain has kept me and who knows how many others from doing business with this thief!
Thank you Renee!

This lady should be ashamed of herself. She lied. Paypal made an error and reversed payment three weeks later, and they later corrected this. In the meantime the shams were shipped back to her, which I still have the postal return tracking receipt. Instead of working to help figure out what happened, she immediately began threatening to sue so they were sent directly back to her. I have never bounced a check, and she should be completely ashamed of herself for posting this trash. The tacky part is that the shams were received back by her before the date she posted this nonsense.

eBay seller suspension without a reason

Ebay - www.ebay.com

I was suspended from eBay for selling what they called "an unauthorized copy" of DVD's. The DVD's I was selling were completely authorized and legal from USA studios. This was stated in the auctions several times. I have a licensed business and acquire my inventory from USA authorized distributors.

I contacted eBay about ten times about this issue prior to them suspending me. They continuously disregarded my pleas for help and clarification. Instead they sent me patronizing automatic replies about reading their FAQ's (which I had already read and fully understood). They simply refused to address my specific complaints. I begged them to tell me what I had to do to sell my items without them being removed and not be suspended. I implored them to allow me to prove the legal status of these authorized DVD's. I asked them to allow me to send references and receipts from authorized movie studio distributors. Again, to no avail. There was literally nothing I could do to contact anybody and receive a response about what was happening to me. And it all culminated with them suspending me after being a seller for only 3 weeks with a 100% positive review record.

I contacted them via email, via their online forms, via their live help services. Live help attendants told me they had no authority to discuss the issue. Email and online forms responses were just ways to send me automatic cut and paste messages without addressing my specific problem. They don't provide a phone number or physical address or any means by which informed human interaction can occur.

I have used Ebay since 1996 without much difficulty, that is 2010. I had a number of old antique computer game systems to sell. Most of the sales went as I expected but with one. Some guy in Miami purchased a drive that was working perfectly when I sent it to him. After receiving it, he claims it is not working and filed a complaint with Ebay. Ebay refused to here my side and advised me to settle with the buyer. I lost money and the guy got a working antique drive for practically nothing. In another case, I send an item to an individual in Australia. He claimed that he did not receive the item. An investigation found that the USPS had delivered the item and that the individual signed for the item at the Australian Post Office. PayPal validated this information and, of course found in my favor. Then the individual leaves me negative feedback, still saying that he did not receive the item. Ebay refused to remove the feedback, even though they knew their company owned PayPal found in my favor.

Ebay is an evil corporation plus 10. It does offer buyer protections but nothing for sellers. If people stopped selling on Ebay, how long would they last. That, and their rediculously high fees along with being forced to use the PayPal payment system ends up costing more to sell an item than the trouble it is to list it. Ebay SUCKS!

I don't think ebay deserves our business or that we should have to beg and plead for them to let us back on. There is a new auction site BOOCOO.COM that suppose to be Ebays competition in the near future. They are easy to sign up with and don't all those personal questions and its just like ebay. Don't let ebay take your happiness. Move on to something better and SPREAD THE WORD. Tell everybody. Thats the only way it will take off. Go to other forums with other suspended ebayers and tell them about BOOCOO.COM It may be a little slow now but list things on there people will want and TELL PEOPLE ABOUT IT! This is just the beginning people lets work together!

There is a forum I found on the internet that is free, and helps with Ebay, PayPal, business and the law. Just post any question, the experts will answer it if it has not already been answered!

The forum has a lot of expert advice on it. http://www.modeeworld.com/forums I found advice there about how to avoid EBAY suspensions, get past PayPal limitations, also lots of detailed help on creating your own business, getting past trademark violations, VERO and lots more. Plus general advice on how best to sell on EBAY, what sells the best, how to get the best price for your product, really everything related to EBAY and internet business.

Also advice about how EBAY really works and how PayPal really works. The inside scoop.

Beautiful forum. I was made a moderator of the forum and I love it!

This may be too late to help this guy as this was posted a year and a half ago but I suggest suing Ebay. They damaged his business. he had 100 percent feedback rating which clearly shows they were in good standing with their customers. eBay is very quick to cut off sellers without warning. and what happened to this guy happens everyday to many, many others. eBay flagrantly does whatever it feels like, they have rules against the stupidest of things. I use to have many items for sale that had very similar descriptions. I used the same description for all and it in was a single word used to describe how I examined each item for flaws. This upset a buyer who used that same word in his alerts for items totally unrelated and he wrote me demanding I stop using that word. Ummm, ever hear of the first amendment? Who is he to demand, that I stop using a word that is not profane and does apply to what I was selling even if it wasnt an item he was interested in. Ebay suspended me anyhow. I took them to court in MY hometown. Yes, I know they claim that any disputes must be settled in their area of California. BULL! You can sue anybody anywhere you like. If you live in New York and eBay damaged your business you CAN sue them in New York and they will need to pay an attorney licensed in New York to come to court and defend them. That costs them even more as they must pay another attorney not their own. They can of course get to court and rattle their sabre and say "see our user agreement says all case must be settled in California" Which a judge may or may not agree with, usually the latter. Judges dont like attorneys telling them have no jurisdiction. My defense to their claim was that MY business was in New York and this is where I was damaged. The judge agreed and I went on to win my case. ( In David vs. Goliath, David usually always wins! ) If enough people make eBay pay then it will become too costly for eBay to continue to screw sellers without justification. Put the pressure on. Sue the bast... !

eBay unfounded suspension

I have been an active ebay member since 2004. I have a 100% rating and until recently have had no real problems with ebay. A couple of months ago I tried signing into my account only to be notified my password was incorrect. I immediately went to my email and saw a new message from ebay explaining they had changed my account password for security reasons...that someone had made multiple unsuccessful attempts to get into my account. Within a month, this same thing happened. I sent an email to ebay about this issue because it concerned me and never received a response. My husband made a purchase on Oct.22,2007 and paid for the product immediately. Two days later when we tried to login for information regarding the shipment of our purchase we were locked out of our account and told we were suspended because we were believed to be a previously suspended member who was fraudulent. I emailed them right away angry and concerned because there is no reason for the link. We have never been involved in fraudulent activity, nor have we ever had another ebay account. In the meantime, it is now Nov.2,2007 and have still not received our product and since we are locked out of our account we cannot contact the seller. Ebay has FINALLY responded to our email concerning these issues and they did not address my concerns for what purpose they believe me to be linked to this previously suspended user or if my information is being used by someone else illegally. The only response I was given was to fax over a copy of my state id card, credit card statement with name and address information, a utility bill also with identifying information and some sort of legal paper to sign stating that I will not be involved in fraudulent activity on ebay. This is crap that for no reason at all, no reason they can give me they suspend me, they don't answer my concerns about whether someone may be using my identity or what makes them believe I am affiliated with this previously suspended user, and now I have to jump through hoops to prove myself to them. For what? For them to use poor judgment with my personal information, leaking it out to who knows... just to have this happen again!? And as I said, here I said still not having received my ordered and paid for product and nothing that I can do to resolve the issue. Pissed off isn't even the word. I WILL be canceling my account with ebay and I WILL be sending a letter of complaint to ebay... Even though I know it will fall on deaf ears.

eBay suspended me months back. After several months of contacting them and trying to appeal, they sent me a message that my appeal was denied and the suspension is indefinite.

I have a family to support and this made half of the income. Not only does eBay not care about the sellers anymore, they purposely promote fraud for buyers as well. Absolute disgust.

This is why many people who have been kicked off are going stealth I myself have contacted Auction Essistance to help me get back on and make back the income that eBay purposely took away. Do not let eBay win or destroy your family.

I had the same thing happen to me. However, I hadn't used the account for some time, but received an e-mail stating that someone had tried to sign on to my account. I didn't click into the link on the e-mail because I wasn't sure if it was a phishing e-mail. I went to E-Bay directly and found that I couldn't get into my account. Being that I had not used the account, I asked that they close my account because I had been the victim of identity fraud and had found that my paypal account was also in jeopardy. I canceled that as well. I still receive e-mails from e-bay and from e-bay shoppers stating that they have purchased and paid for items from me that I have not sent. Unfortunately, I have not had anything on e-bay and ebay won't release information about who is using my account and what payment process they are going through to obtain the money's that people are apparently sending to me, that I have no knowledge of. E bay had sent me an e-mail after I had asked that they cancel my account and told me that they had to leave it active for 30 days. After 30 days, they told me the account was closed, but apparently they did not close the account. Having same problems with paypal and once you close an account with either of these companies, it appears you cannot open another with a different e-mail address (unless of course you are a thief). It's a very sad situation and world that we live in. But it appears if the people that originate these scams put as much time into actually making an honest living, they'd be wealthy and there would be a whole lot less fraud going on.

eBay unable to contact anyone

I bid on a vehicle and was the highest bidder without reaching its reserve. After the auction as I thought closed, I was contacted by the seller of this item directly to my email address which I did not provide but as he contacted me after my bid offer and using what looked like standard ebay header mails, i assumed that it was legitimate. I had already made checks into the vehicle status etc which appeared to be again legitimate. The emails I received appeared the same as many more I'd received for previous transactions through ebay. Furthermore the seller said he was doing the transaction through the safeharbor facility on ebay. Safeharbor is their so called security and trust section. All of the transaction emails were on what looked like standard ebay header and following satisfactory answers being received through this mechanism, I proceeded with the purchase at a cost of £ 8000. I'm now told by ebays online help that this item was blocked from sale as a result of suspected fraud and that I should have received an email at 'my messages' folder on ebay saying this as I had bid for the item. This did not happen and furthermore I did not give the seller my email address so I can only conclude that despite ebay assurances regarding the safety of their site, it is not a secure site. I am now fraudulently down £ 8000 due to ebay neglect and have been unable to make a complaint so far through the online facility. Online is the only option available as no telephone contact is permitted. I would appreciate any help that's out there

As much as it pains me to say this, the fact you lost 8000 pounds isnt ebay's fault. eBay sends messages all the time about this scam. A red flag should have gone up when you got an e mail after you hadnt provided the seller with your email address. A second red flag should have gone up when the email said the sale was thru ebay safe harbor. Safe harbor has nothing to do with making transactions. eBay suggests when getting these 'second chance" offers ALWAYS verify that the second chance off is shown in your my ebay page under items not won AND look for an ebay message that starts with your name. You didnt do this and that is why your out 8000 pounds. This problem is so big that eBay needs to do something about it. They have a responsibility to do something about it. messages about the scams arent enough. They need to have each and every buyer acknowledge that they understand second chance offers can ONLY be made on the MY eBay page. and it should be very obvious on the My eBay page, not hidden in the "items not Won" page. Have a Second Chance category with an alert.

eBay scam website!

After going to their website and fulfilling the three offers they asked for, I was locked out and could not even get on the website any more. I let Blockbuster and Entertainment Weekly know what they were doing, and have never heard a word from them. I paid for the trial subscription and was told it would not continue unless I gave permission. They charged me anyway, and I had to fight with them to get my money back. BAD IDEA! Don't go there. I never got the TV that I
was trying to buy.

I am planning to launch a class action against Half.com and it's unethical practices. Any seller who has their money stuck with them, please email me back. My email address is: raman6@gmail.com. I sued eBay and recovered my money which Half.com had withheld without any reason. Since they restrict all legal action to the county of Santa Clara, CA it is a problem for many outsiders. I stay in Santa Clara county and can take them to court and ensure they change their practices. Look forward to hearing from you all.

Half.com allows sellers to send the wrong books and then expects you to pay for the return shipping before a refund can be given (not including the cost of shipping). There is no customer service to respond to either and what little there is will take you months to hear from. I eventually filed a charge back and I will never use this company again or Ebay. Take your money and go to Amazon.com if you want to save on used books. Or better yet pay the bookstore price, it is worth it when you don't have to deal with scams and money loss.

As an x seller on half.com I can tell you they are a back room company.
I sold a new book on half .com and shipped it in shrink wrap and in a box 2 days prior to the half.com shipping deadline. The book arrived to the buyer in 3 days using media mail. (quick) The buyer decided he didn't want the book and contacted me about a return. He bought one locally. I emailed him and said unless the book was damaged we don't accept returns. The buyer then contacted half.com and told the the book was damaged. Half.com without contacting me issued him a credit from my account and he was to return the book to me. The book that was returned was not the one i shipped to him and the enclosed CD was open. Half .com will not return any calls and only state they make final decisions.
It is not worth it to deal with Half.com

I agree with you. They done the same to me. I sold nearly $15k of inventory and now my accounts are locked and I dont know if I will get my money either. This is ridiculous, as they close the account right before the pay period, insuring that you sell as much as possible before they suspend your account and block your funds. This is really ridiculous. They keep your money without paying interest and guess what? Thats right, no customer support at ALL! No phone number, no live chat support only some slow email service at half.com. This is unethical and immoral and should be against the law. Those people need to get right with God or they will end up in hell. I mean work with people as we are confused and they have our money. Anyway visit www.needgod.com its a good test to see if your good enough to go to heaven.

Buying or selling, it is no different. I sold over 300 dollars worth of textbooks on it and all books have shipped out. Now half.com suspended my account for no reason whatsoever, and that is 300 dollars I am going to lose. They just want to keep the money for themselves! I just graduated from college and I am just trying to get at least some money back from the books so I can start paying off student loans, but nope! Half.com takes it, their motto should be 'we take 100% commission from your sales'. Not dealing with them ever again!

Half.com sucks. I placed three orders on half.com for college textbooks. I ordered two of them on Apr 25. One issued a refund saying the book was no longer available (2 weeks after I placed the order and only after I contacted the buyer) and the other sent me an e-mail saying that the book sold MONTHS ago and that she didn't know why half.com had it listed to sell OR listed as shipped. ALL the textbooks were listed as shipped and all DEDUCTED MONEY from my debit card. WHY is this? I am so upset. My classes start tomorrow. I will NEVER order from half.com again. This has been a complete waste of my time and money.

eBay useless helpdesk

I was a user of ebay. I thought its a good web portal or online shopping. I was in the process of purchasing a mobile phone and a mouse. The payment has been made amounting to Rs 13,500/-. In the meantime my account was blocked on some flimsy ground. The seller even after acknowledging that he ad received payment gave an unpaid strike against me thinking that as i was suspended i cant do anything. I am trying to reach helpdesk but they are not responding. I think nobody is reading my email and i am getting an automated reply every time i tried to reach them. I think it is useless now as there is no phone number listed for solving my prob on there website. So ebay is good as long as u dont landup in a problem. The moment u r in trouble even on flimsy ground. there is no one whom u can ask for help.

I fully agree with the complaints. Reason is not far to see. Most often, as they say, if it is too good to be true, it probably is ! Transactions are painful. Products are faulty and subsequent transactions to redress adds to the pain. Risky and not worth the trouble to buy from eBay.

Having said that, my best experience was on Amazon where the customer service is excellent. But then it is also a lot less risky buying a book than, say a flash drive mp3 player as I foolishly did.

Bottom line, stay away at any rate from electronics, mobile phones, computers and the like.

eBay ebay does not appreciate their buyers

Ebay
http://www.ebay.com

I want to make the public aware of my experience with an ebay seller which goes by the name augleo74. I bought three products from the user. All a few days apart. One product took longer to be received than others. On the feedback I mentioned that the shipment was slow. The seller then posted a sarcastic comment in regards to my feedback. Then on the other products provided defamatory feedback unrelated to the items or issue at hand. A request to remove the feedback due to the user is retaliating against the one negative remark was sent to Ebay who stated they would not remove the feedback. Ebay does not care about the buyers experience and obviously not aware that without buyers their company wouldn't be active. They allow insulting comments to defile your feedback page and there only response is to provide a feedback to the comment received. NO ONE should have to fear posting THEIR experience with a seller in FEAR of retaliation! That is PROMOTING misleading information to the public! That person is not the only seller Ebay allows to terrorize customers treasure_in_florida, beeatchook, bookmarkthispage are just to name a few.

Here are some of the negative remarks.

I bought a violin case on e-bay. You can check my FB to find the seller. The case arrived and I quickly opened it, looked at it, closed it and left positive FB. 2 days later I opened the case to put my violin in it, and it selled of cat pee. It came from up north, to humid Florida where the stench blossomed. I filed a dispute when the seller refused to answer ANY e-mails. The seller, herself, made a claim of it. EBAY'S DECISION WAS THAT CAT PISS IN A VIOLIN CASE DOES NOT DEVALUE THE ITEM!

I paid $52.00 for what can only be used as a kitty litter pan now (but I have no cats). So much for e-bay protecting their buyers, as their so-called recent 'enhancements' proclaim.

If you do business on e-bay, you better figure out who this seller who sold me a cat pee violin case and avoid her items. Also, keep in mind that cat pee on a seller's items is just fine with ebay!

eBay ebay company fraud

eBay charges seller fees when an item is listed. However they do not list the item for the entire time purchased. For example: I listed a 5 day auction and the listing was not available for view by buyers for over 10 hours. Now, I paid $3.65 for the 5 day listing which calculates out to 3 cents/hour. This means I was defrauded 30 cents. Doesn't seem like a lot but magnified over the many thousands of sellers it's no wonder eBay is a multi-billion dollar industry simply for providing computer servers and software to manage auctions. No other company has made this volumn of profit in the time the company has existed. They over charge for seller fees and do not display seller items for the length of time purchased. This has happened with each of the several auctions I have posted.

No other company has made this volume of profit in the time the company has existed. They over charge for seller fees and do not display seller items for the length of time purchased. can anyone tell me how it works as far as Paypal charging you to use their service? So when you sell an item and the buyer pays with Paypal, they take a percentage of your money or what? What about when you pay for something using Paypal? I never even knew that Paypal did this!

Ebay is turning to the biggest peice of Crap. As a seller I have sold on their site since 2002. I have seen charges change like the seasons. What use to be 2.00 now cost 6.00 or more. When I list something I sometimes do not see it on their site for up to 12 hrs in some cases. That I think is what is called Fraud I signed up for 7 Days I got 6.5 Days. As a Seller You can not leave Neg. Feedback, They tell you they will pull your listing if you are charging too much for shipping A bayonet costs about 9 to 10 Dollas to send they pulled it. Customer service sucks they would not know how to fix an issue if it was in teir face. Fees are outrages. Where can I go to Sell my stuff and make my bills I got Laid off last Nov. Now I use to pay bills now I give it to ebay. I am going to go some where else with a computer science degree I think I can figure it out. Craig's List, Or Maybe I'll call it sh**ebayersalike. What are they going to do sue me They are so busy changing things on their site they wouldn't even notice. Oh I have to add this on the 20th of Oct. you thr Buyer and myself the Seller will NO longer be able to pay with a Check, Money order, The only way you can pay is through Paypal Gee who own Paypal. That is a triple Whammy for me I get charged to list, I get charged when it sells, and now I get Charged when they pay with Paypal THE ONLY way to pay after Oct.20 20% of my buyers pay with CK, MO, OR ? As a Buyer you you only get hit twice if you decide too buy at all My prices are going down my customer base is running the other way and I'm standing here with my D*** in my hand. Good luck out there we are getting screwed. Any one have an Idea n where you can sell and not get gauged?

Ebay Company is a total scam. It's a multi-billion dollar company that is allowed to blatantly scam their sellers and buyers on a daily basis. The Government needs to start cracking down on eBay and hopefully put them out of business. THEY NEED TO BE REGULATED! I do not believe years ago that they started out this way, but have since become the biggest Internet scam of all. Creating fictitious buyers and sellers. Scamming buyers and sellers out of thousands of dollars on a daily basis, Clark Howard in Atlanta, Georgia has covered this topic extensively. I used to think eBay was the bomb. Now, I now can only hope that the US Government will step in and stop this completely unethical company and shut them down completely. They are the worst offenders on the Internet. They have been stealing from sellers for quite some time and many Power Sellers have ended their eBay sales for good. They have stolen millions of dollars by their own self created scams. They have ripped me off many times and I am just a hobby seller. I don’t make a living off of this and they have ripped me off over and over. I pay good money to list items that they never run, they create fictitious characters that bid then don’t pay, thus eBay gets their listing fees and the percent of the sale. The seller gets screwed. Do they ever resolve this or pay the seller back? Absolutely not! They are scam artists that need Government regulation SOON! Ebay, you’re done!

Open a basic Ebay Store acount.
Auctions is where they screw you.I found out the hard way too.
The store is like $15.99 p/month and the fees are really, really low, which is how it should be all the way across the board, and they dont even tell you tips like that to save you money.
Im especially pissed that they went against a mutual agreement and sent my account to this piss ant collection agency.

Dispute your credit card charge. You didnt receive the services you paid for. make them respond or they lose the dispute. if they retaliate by suspending you, sue them in court in your jurisdiction. make them hire a lawyer in your area to defend them, it will cost them tons!

eBay is price gouging. The government was sure after Microsoft for Anti-Trust, why can't they go after eBay? At least Microsoft provided honest products, and revolutionized the computer industry. eBay does nothing, and demands too much money with little concern for their sellers. I can understand .50 per listing, but not several dollars, and several dollars more if you want a reserve price. But, they can over charge because they have no real competition. I think they need to be investigated for price gouging.

eBay no protection for buyers!

Last month I did a online transaction(bidding) for an item(mobile,
Ebay Item no: [protected]) on a site called www.ebay.in. I won the bid and
was supposed to pay Rs.16799/- for the item to the
seller([protected]@yahoo.com).

I promptly dropped the cheque for the required amount in next couple of days.

The seller once he got the money into his account, has refused to send me the
item inspite of my repeated mails and efforts to convince him.
With no other alternative left i desperately tried to contact the Ebay officials.

Every time i wrote to them i got a emphatic mail saying that there are a set of rules and that they can only escalate the claim...only after stipulated time... and above all they didn't even verify the seller details and werent able to trace him at all... and then they talk of rules and procedures.

Their customer support and security practices are so pathetic that they don't even have a proper mechanism to verify the seller details. On top they claim that they cannot reveal the details fo the seller to the buyer! The buyer has to bear the brunt of all these shabby stuff.

The guy who cheated me must be enjoying all this... it's really shame that Ebay encourages ppl to CHEAT...

Please never buy anything at EBAY!

Ebay and Paypal are for anyone who wants to make good money by scamming honest and innocent people.I 'm having the same problem now and Ebay support and Paypal are ignoring my complaints after they've had a chance to see that I am due a refund and I can prove it, I have documentation.
EBAY AND PAYPAL ARE NOT THERE TO HELP ANYBODY BUT THEMSELVES MAKE GOOD MONEY DISHONESTLY.

eBay trying to charge me for merchandise that didn't sell

I had auctions up for several auction of high priced merchandise like laptops and ipods. After the auctions were complete I collected the money from the winning bidders and then when I went to order the merchandise from the new supplier I started dealing with I found out that my supplier was a scam artist and didn't really have any merchandise. So I refunded all my customers there money and requested Final Value Fee credits from ebay because I didn't actually complete the sales with the customers. At the end of the month Ebay sent me an e-mail stating that I requested to many final value credits and that they are reversing every single one I requested from that time period. I told them I had proof from my Paypal payments that I refunded the customers and that is why I requested Ebay and they told me that they don't look into investigating matters like this. So they said they had the final word and that was it. So now I owe over $400 in fees on transactions that I never completed. Ebay allows for final value credits for situations like this but they felt that I requested to many so they reversed all of them instead of talking to me and trying to find out the whole situation. They just want money they aren't due and that isn't fair.

I guess you shouldn't attempt to sell stuff that is NOT in your possession to sell. You didn't have the stuff, but collected $$, and then attempted to purchase the items from ANOTHER middle-man. YOU should pay the eBay auction fees and quit your whining. It's a $400 lesson you learned, not to advertise items for sale that you don't even have or own, or have paid for. YOu got what you deserved, If you want to be a reputable businessman, then invest YOUR $$ in inventory, then re-sell it, not sell stuff that isn't even yours. What a ###!

eBay I got completely ripped off

I have fallen victim to a scam through ebay, I was selling a very expensive phone worth £300 and a fraudster from Nigeria put in a bid for £443.00, Ebay emailed me to say that i needed to re list it as the bidder did not have the authority to place the bid. But then i got an email from deanleber (the bidder) saying that the bid was made by him. 5 minutes later i got another email to say that it was the authorized bidder and the account has been restored and if i didn't send the phone within 24hrs my account would be suspended, i also received an email from paypal to say that the money was being held in an account and would be released into my account as soon as i gave them a shipping number I fell hook line and sinker and posted it off, I had a horrible feeling that something wasn't right so i searched through the ebay site t0o try and find something to do with spoof emails it took me 2 hours they are that well hidden, they are no good to anyone... My gripe with ebay is why do they not have alerts on there home page for people about these sort of things, i had never used ebay before and will never use them again because of this i am a victim but all ebay could do was say they were sorry (that didn't give me my £300 phone back though did it). I am so angry that someone has done this to me and i am so angry that ebay have done nothing to try and make me feel better.

They are useless!

This is an Ebay scam run completely by Ebay themselves.

Let me start off by saying that I’ve used eBay and PayPal for years (about 10 at last count) and was satisfied with both services until about two years ago. Let me tell you why I have become disgusted and think eBay and PayPal have turned into nothing more than a den of thieves.

Instead of regale you with hearsay and colorful antidotes I will impart the details of my last three selling experiences.

The first sale was a PowerMac G5 computer that was about two years old. Now while I didn't lose any money, (I’ll talk about the wonders of charge-backs later) I should have taken it as a clue as to what eBay had become.

It all started when I began to get a deluge of people wanting to know if I could end the auction early, sell it to them at nearly double the asking price and ship it to their poor family still in Nigeria. Why a poor family in Nigeria needs a $6, 000 PowerMac is beyond me.

I finally did sell the item to a person in Florida and so far everything has worked out. The reason I say so far is that charge-backs are now a staggering problem on eBay.

A charge-back occurs after a buyer has paid and you have shipped the item to them. The buyer informs either PayPal or their credit card company that the item was defective, not as advertised etc. At this point PayPal removes the funds from your account pending an investigation. This can happen up to a year after the payment has been made.

While I understand this is necessary to protect the buyer I think more protection is needed for the seller (PayPal seller protection is a joke and I wont waste your time retyping their abhorrent terms of service here). I strongly feel that the buyer should have to return the item to the seller before a refund is issued.

Second item up for bids was an original XBox that I stopped using. While I still had the Nigeria problem the real fun with this auction started when the XBox went for twice what it should have.

Now you might be wondering why I would care that the item sold for 2x what I wanted. Normally I wouldn’t mind and would disregard it as bidding zealously, but in this case the higher bidder was, drum-role please... A man from Nigeria with zero feed back! I dislike how eBay lets bidders bid with no confirmed address or on items for US sale only when they do not have a valid US address.

The XBox was an interesting auction not just because it was won by a person supposedly in Nigeria, but that it was eventually won (through the second chance option) by a individual that contacted me before the auction had ended letting me know the current winning bidder was a fraud. Now while this in and of itself doesn't seem like suspicious behavior the sequence of events that follow sure did.

The high bidder started to haggle over the final price. He had a high bid of $170 but said he was just “feeling out the fraud from Nigeria” and wanted to know If I’d sell the item for $150 shipped. I informed him that I had another bidder willing to pay $165 shipped and would let him have it for that. In case your wondering he should have paid $190 shipped.

After the XBox auction I started doing some research and it seems that this is a common eBay scam. The idea behind the scam is to use a fictitious account to run an auction up a ridiculously high price thus deterring anyone else from bidding on the item. After the auction the scam is to either sit and wait for a second chance offer or to approach the seller with an offer to buy. While not a total bust for the seller it robs the seller of fair auction and the price they should have gotten.

Not for a lack of trying the last item I never did sell on eBay. The item was a two month old MacBook Pro 17” laptop. I placed it on auction with a buy it now price of $1, 999. Of course no one used buy it now option and the laptop went through what is now the normal course (fake bids, side selling, etc...) until the auction stood at $2, 975, which is more than the unit cost new from Apple. The same scam as the XBox seemed to be at play.

The buyer sent funds to me before I could withdraw the auction and requested shipment to an unconfirmed address. Now this really gets the seller into a bad situation. You can’t deny the payment you have to accept it and then refund it and then get eBay to waive their fees. In the end, if you are successful you will just end up losing about 2 weeks of your time.

Obviously not every buyer/seller on eBay is a scam artist. I’m absolutely certain that tens of thousands if not millions of auctions a year go off with out a hitch, but for me the headaches, risks and time just aren’t worth it. As a result I’m done messing around with eBay and PayPal. I’ve closed my accounts and will stick to services like Craig’s List and the classified section of the local newspaper.

eBay paypal - cheating buyers

I am having a very bad experience with PAYPAL - buyer protection claim. I bought a scanner on ebay in which it was clearly mentioned that scanner comes with power adapter, but when i received the package, power adapter was not shipped. I tried to contact seller who offered me for $5 refund but power adapter is not available in market in $5. so I approached paypal resolution. after reviewing the case for 45days paypal informed me that my dispute does not fit in their criteria for the category "Item does no received as described".

It is really unable to digest, how PAYPAL claims that it does not fit into the category "Item does no received as described. It means PAYPAL encourage incomplete order from seller and harrass buyer for the same.

I have included the email exchange between me and paypal.

I sold a brand new in the box Klipsch Soundbar to a man named Charles Hoover in Hawaii around christmas. A month later he files a dispute for "item not described". The ad had pictures of the unopened boz with the model number on it and everything. Paypal reveresed payment even though I sent them documentation straight from Klipsch saying it was their product. He was supposed to send it back within 2 weeks. He printed out a postage label as proof of shipping but the post office confirmed they never received it. Now two months later it was supposedly shipped but I never received and it was shipped with no delivery confirmation. I have never had issues with anyone doing this. It was ebays mistake with the reversal to begin with so they should be covering it with ebays buyer/seller protection. Now they have taken money out of my account for things I sold yesterday that doesn't even belong to me. I told them they were going to have to pay Mr. Hoover and these 2 other peoples money they took anyways so why not do what their policy states they will do. They said basically we don't care. Oh well me neither.

My biggest complaint is that Paypal holds your money for so long and not so much it the total cash form but I buy and sell on Ebay if a buyer pays shipping then you should be able to ship that item right away and not wait for up to a week to be able to print a shipping label I have gotten complaints about the time table and clearly showed Ebay that it was them and Paypal that were holding up the transaction its not fair for me or you to front the shipping cost. Second they will put you out of business in the blink of a eye..And to think its a wonder why people have to keep trying to open new accounts If they say you owe them and you don't you have to pay no matter what..Well right now I owe them $65.00 dollars that they took from my account I showed Paypal/Ebay where and when the money was taken there answer was that that money was shipping fees which was not so but your left with a choice to pay it or try and open a new account man I had such a good account my buyers were all happy the sellers were all happy and these people from paypal/ebay ruined that account my account now I have five people waiting on shipping I can't print the labels

I agree with you that Paypal cheating buyers. I have bought a watch through i-offer.com, and paid 169.00 USD, One hour after payment trasaction is done, I received an e-mail from i-offer informed that the seller is deleted and my recent transaction may be fraudulent, I cotacted Paypal the same day ans as soon as I received i-offer.com message. One wek later I received a registered package from the seller containg a plastic strap for a little chinese watc. I reported the issue to Paypal and asked for refund. Paypal asked me to report the case to the police and send a copy to of police report to Paypal. The same day I contacted the police and acquired a police report and sent it to Paypal. Later Paypal asked me to send translation of the police report, I have done. One week later Paypal asked me to acquire more information from the Police, I contacted the police by e-mail with c.c. to Paypal. After receiving Police information I translated it by Google and sent the original answer and Google translation to Paypal. furthermore Paypal has got all references and was asked to contact the Police directly for further information when it is needed. Meanwhile I received a message from Paypal informing that the police report is invalid and the case is closed. Now I have neither the watch nor Money back. My advice to you is, Please see the buyer feedback and think for buying an exepensive item by Internet. Paypal buyer's protection means nothing. Surely it is the buyer problem and the buyer is not protected at all.

Paypal is always cheating, last time, I receivece a broken laptop, I ask them to stop paying to the seller, they just ignored my request, continued to pay the seller. This time, I payed with a Canada dollars, they will use the exchange rate: 1 CAD = 0.972488 USD as the exchange rate is 1 CAD = 1.0011.

eBay shopping on ebay india is very very risky!

I had purchased a product from ebay online on 4th april seller discountedgames07 item code is [protected] & the payment is made of rs 1349, paisapay id [protected]. But on 7th april the seller become unregistered member on ebay. And i had not received the product yet, seller has not responded to me after several mails & even ebay india is also not taking any serious action against it.

Ebay company should take some serious responsibility to solve this problem, they are not responding well. I know i had lost my money but i had also lost faith on ebay india online shopping concept, as they have no rules if any buyer or seller become defaulter. In future i will never buy online from ebay india, this was my first & last dealing...

Please note: shopping on ebay india is very very very risky.

eBay cheating at ebay purchase!

I have paid INR 450/- on 11/02/2007 to online purchase of item AB Slimming Belt (Item No.[protected]) through Paisa Pay (ID: [protected]) from the seller srinivasan15. But the item has not been delivered to my address. Moreover, the seller has de-registered from ebay site after receiving the payment. From ebay I could not receive the email ID of the seller. The phone number given by them was proved to be fake. I lodged the complaint in dispute forum of ebay, but do not expect much help from them as they are lingering with my complaint on the pretext of dispute rules. ebay does not verify the contact information of the seller when they register to the site. ebay is only interested to extort fees from the seller at the expense of customer security. There is no security to the customers purchasing items in ebay and they are at the mercy of dishonest sellers who in connivance of ebay are robbing the customers. Be careful to purchase anything through ebay.

I bought a Panasonic 42'plasma TV from ebay India. The product got delivered to the address on 17-11-11. Obviously the panel in the TV was broken and when approached the seller he said ha can't refund.I opened a dispute under item not as described on resolution center and after waiting for 10 days for seller's response, I escalated the claim for a refund under buyer protection policy on which I was advised that I will receive an email from ebay with further instruction within a week about what to do next.

Ebay claims department never sent me an email with further instruction and after 24 days of waiting for emails and tons of phone calls to customer care explaining the situation everytime, finally received an email from claim adjuster saying I need to send the pics within 3 days. I sent the pics the same day when I received the email from him and he closed the case the next day in favor of the seller without any explanation in writing.

I feel so much violated and exploited by this act as no one holds any accountability or responsibility for this. On phone he said he has the absolute power to do this and he has made a decision and that is final.

Please help me to make a complaint on this particular claim adjuster who has been very arrogant and rude and also escalate this situation to a higher official to review this matter.

I am absolutely devastated by this experience as the amount involved is 37, 000 INR. I Live in Australia and never faced with situations like this here.

It makes me feel like the claims department in ebay India works in favor of sellers. I would really appreciate, if anyone can help me to resolve this situation.

Looking forward for your advice,
Regards,
Theo

I am also victim of Ebay. I purchased a Shirt from Ebay Amounting 2500/-. Surprisingly the seller sent the used Shirt (Even Sirf Excel scent was coming). I claimed to Ebay but instead of going through issue, they just closed the issue in seller favour. Honestly I don't have faith with ebay.

Remember: Always purchase from shop because:
1. You are not aware what seller is sending. He can send a packet of soil, and if you complain ebay won't come for rescue.
2. Even if they send the corret item it is not sure it will be new one (He can send used one and ebay won't bother to check).
3. If product won't be working even though you will have to pay. Noone worry about it.
4. What about the warranty. If you purchase from ebay you won't have any proof of purchase (The Seller never sents stamps on the warranty card, which is mandatory for warranty in many case) as they are not dealer, they are not authorized or dealer of that company.
5. If you go the the Service center of that product they will ask for the date of purchase, and other docs that's why your product won't have warranty.

So friend always go to shop for purcahse you know the shop and in case of anything goest wrong atleast you can atleast complain for them. Ebay never bother to take your advise once you make the comment.

SO FRIEND BEWARE THEY ARE ONLINE PORTALS NOT A SHOP. BEWARE

Pl refer PaisaPay ID [protected]. The 'PaisaPay protection' / 'PaisaPay Customer Support' / 'ebay Guarantee' and after all "eBay" seems to be farce.PaisaPay Protection / PaisaPay Customer Support etc., all are big farce. I came to know that eBay is the world's biggest online cheating portal.

If my amount not refunded as eBay mentioned earlier I will post My Opinions regarding cheating tactics of eBay in all social networking sites / all National/International Consumer Complaints Forums.

Not only MR. SOHAIL (CELL NO:- [protected]), almost all the team of customer support are out of their very basic purpose.
They are very busy in settling their percentages. TnS and ebay emplyees are mixed to even manipulate Feedback, account info. etc. I hope the parent company ebay.com will fix this issue. Spana, mistry etc. all are mixed for their own well being

RESPECTED SIR/MAM,

IN THIS MAIL I WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE WHICH HAS HAPPENED WITH ME.
BRIEF DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS:-

A BUYER NAMED SATISH KUMAR ITEM I.D.:- [protected] BUYER I.D.:- 2009SATISHKUMAR PURCHASED THIS ITEM FORM ME .
IT IS A VERY RARE AND EXPENSIVE ITEM.
A FEW DAYS AFTER THE DELIVERY TOOK PLACE HE CALLED ME AND SAID THAT HE DOUBTED THE ORIGINALITY OF THE ITEM. I TOLD HIM TO RETURN THE ITEM FOR A FULL REFUND.
NOW, AT THIS TIME HE SAID THAT I SHOULD RETURN 50% OF THE AMOUNT BACK AT FIRST THEN HE WOULD SEND THE ITEM BACK.
I FLATLY REFUSED THIS DEMAND AND TOLD HIM TO SEND THE ITEM BACK AT FIRST.
NOW, SUDDENLY AT THIS POINT OF TIME THIS BUYER OPENED A ITEM NOT AS RECEIVED/DESCRIBED CASE AGAINST ME. STILL HE DID NOT COURIER THE ITEM BACK TO ME.
THE CASE KEPT ON LINGERING.
NOW, SUDDENLY A WEEK BACK, ONE MR. SOHAIL I BELIEVE FROM THE CLAIMS DEPARTMENT CALLED ME UP.AND WITHOUT LISTENING TO MY SIDE OF THE MATTER TOLD ME IN STRAIGHT TERMS TO REFUND THE AMOUNT.
I TOLD HIM (MR. SOHAIL) THAT THIS IS NOT THE CASE AS IT SEEMS TO HIM AND HE SHOULD LISTEN TO MY END OF THE CASE AS WELL.
NOW, MR. SOHAIL FROM THE CLAIMS DEPARTMENT IS CALLING ME 2-3 TIMES A DAY AND HE FLATLY REFUSES TO LISTEN TO ME.
I AM A POWERSELLER ON EBAY. I HAVE HUNDREDS OF SATISFIED BUYERS WITH ME.
YESTERDAY I.E. 2ND DEC 2010 MR.SOHAIL CALLED ME UP AND HAD AN ARGUMENT WITH ME.HE FLATLY TOLD ME THAT, THE BUYER IS CORRECT AND I AM WRONG. NOT WILLING TO LISTEN TO ME.
HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT IF I WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT HIM I AM FREE TO DO SO. AND THREATENED IF THAT IF HE WANTED TO CLOSE THE CASE HE CAN DO IT ANYTIME AGAINST ME.
IS THIS A JOKE GOING ON? I HAVE SENT A EXPENSIVE ITEM TO THE BUYER. AND MR. SOHAIL WANTS ME TO REFUND THE BUYERS AMOUNT.
SO I BELIEVE THE BUYER KEEPS THE ITEM AND ALSO GETS THE REFUND IF I GO ACCORDING TO MR. SOHAIL FROM THE EBAY CLAIMS DEPARTMENT.
NOW, AFTER I TALKED TO MR. SOHAIL YESTERDAY I CALLED UP EBAY CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND TRIED TO LODGE A COMPLAINT REGARDING NON TRUST IN MY CLAIMS ADJUSTER MR. SOHAIL.
I TOLD THE EBAY CUSTOMER SUPPORT THAT I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN MR. SOHAIL FOR A FAIR TRIAL AND THAT I WANTED A CHANGE. THIS CALL WAS RECEIVED BY A LADY I BELIEVE NAZARIN( NOT SURE OF THE SPELLING) AND THIS LADY CAN YOU BELIEVE TRANSFERRED THE CALL DIRECTLY TO MR. SOHAIL.
HE IMMEDIATELY TOLD ME THAT IF I WANTED TO COMPLAIN I AM FREE TO DO SO.
AND THAT HE WOULD REMAIN MY CLAIMS ADJUSTER AND NO MATTER WHERE I COMPLAIN AND HE BANGED THE PHONE.
I ONCE AGAIN CALLED UP EBAY CUSTOMER SUPPORT. NOW, THIS CALL WAS RECEIVED BY ONE MR.SUMIT. WHEN I TOLD HIM MY ISSUE HE PUT ME ON HOLD AND TOLD ME TO WAIT.
AFTER A WAIT OF MORE THAN 6 MINUTES HE CAME BACK(MR.SUMIT) AND TOLD ME THAT HE HAD A WORD WITH MR.SOHAIL.
AT THIS POINT OF TIME I TOLD THE EBAY CUSTOMER SUPPORT THAT IF I AM COMPLAINING AGAINST NON BELIEF IN A EBAY CLAIMS ADJUSTER THEN HE SHOULD HAVE TALKED TO A PERSON SENIOR TO HIM. HE TOLD ME THAT THERE IS NO POLICY UNDER WHICH A CLAIMS ADJUSTER CAN BE CHANGED. AT THIS POINT I TOLD HIM THAT EBAY ALSO DOES NOT HAVE A POLICY WHICH SAYS THAT A CLAIMS ADJUSTER CANNOT BE CHANGED.
I THEN TOLD EBAY C.C.(MR.SUMIT) TO FILE A COMPLAINT REGARDING MY MATTER. AFTER A LOT OF HASSLES HE LODGED A COMPLAINT FOR CHANGE OF
CLAIMS ADJUSTER VIA COMPLAINT NO: [protected].

PLS. HELP ME OUT IN THIS CASE. MR. SOHAIL IS DEAD AGAINST ME. IF THERE IS ANYONE IN EBAY WHO CAN HELP ME OUT. IF I AM TALKING A CLAIMS ADJUSTER SHOULD ALSO TALK AND NOT GIVE THREATS. DON'T YOU THINK THIS AMOUNTS TO UNFAIR PRACTICES FORM THE CLAIMS ADJUSTER MR. SOHAIL...MAYBE JUST TO SHOW EBAY RESULTS. BUT TO SHOW RESULTS HE CANNOT MAKE A SCAPEGOAT OF ANYONE ACCORDING TO HIS WHIMS AND FANCIES.

PLS. HELP ME IN GETTING MY CLAIMS ADJUSTER MR.SOHAIL CHANGED FOR A FAIR TRIAL TO TAKE PLACE. MR. SOHAIL HAS ALSO GIVEN HIS CELL NO:- 9967319XXX(NUMBER WITHHELD FOR SECURITY REASONS) TO ME. FOR WHAT PURPOSE HAS HE GIVEN ME HIS CELL NO? DOES EBAY ALLOW ITS EMPLOYEES TO GIVE THEIR PERSONAL CELL NUMBERS TO THE ANYONE ON THE EBAY PLATFORM? I DONT THINK THAT EBAY ALLOWS ITS EMPLOYEES TO DISCLOSE THEIR CELL NUMBERS.
OR MAYBE MR SOHAIL IS ABOVE ALL AND IS EXEMPT FROM ALL EBAY POLICIES WHICH GOVERN ITS EMPLOYEES.
I DOUBT HIS INTEGRITY AND IF YOU CAN LISTEN TO ALL THE CONVERSATIONS IF RECORDED WHICH HAVE HAPPENDED BETWEEN MR.SOHAIL AND ME..YOU CAN EASILY MAKE OUT THAT IT IS JUST PRESSURE AND THREATS WHICH ARE BEING ISSUED BY MR. SOHAIL.
REGARDS

eBay the bidding system is rigged!

Details for item number: [protected]
Item title: mint dell wifi laptop+huge accessory bundle+1 day sale!
Item url:

During the final minutes of the bid it appears that the site was using an automated system to force up the price of the item. we were receiving challenging bids in dollars and cents e. g. $238.35 faster than we could type.in other words it appears that a number of individuals affiliated with the site are actively collaborating to increase the price on the item. we have bid on items many times on ebay and have never seen it done this obviously. we want you to investigate this matter and let us know if such behavior is appropriate. we have notified our colleagues and affiliates to avoid bidding on that site and to be wary of other sites on ebay that exhibit the same behavior. we are also reporting this matter to the us department of commerce and us department of justice. thank you.

That's called "sniping". There are dozens of programs that do it for you; it's not done on eBay's end. Those are just other bidders.

eBay beware, having any dealings with this nut!

I won an ebay auction from Rebecca Wildfong in which I paid for within 5 minutes of the auction ending. After 14 days, I received the wrong set of bowls. I find that Rebecca Wildfong has turned my bid on an auction win into a direct order to Tupperware. After almost 3 weeks, she sent the correct set of bowls through yet another person/company in another state. Rebecca Wildfong sent me the money to ship back the original WRONG set of bowls, to her, even though she did not ship them to me, Tupperware did, and I boxed and shipped them back to her at the address provided to me from her payment company, PayPal. After 2 weeks the bowls came back to me as undeliverable. I did refund, at her request, the $6.00 that Rebecca Wildfong sent me for shipping. Rebecca Wildfong in no longer a registered user at ebay because she apparently deceived others as well. She is no longer an active Tupperware consultant because Tupperware strictly forbids an active consultant from selling Tupperware brand products on ebay or any other online auction site. This is just another harassment tactic on Rebecca Wildfongs part. I can only put my side of the story out there and let others make up their own minds as to who the fraudulent party is.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE...This freak is currently signing me up for any and all junk e-mail and spam that you can possibly find on the internet to sign up for. BEWARE... Having any dealings with this nut may result in the same thing for you. Please search for REBECCA WILDFONG on Google and find all the personal information on her and you will see what a freak she is. She is involved in MANY direct selling companies, websites and contests. She has her age, children names and ages her address, her resume, and other interesting information all over the world wide web. Check it out!

Rebecca Wildfong's current e-mail addresses are [protected]@sbcglobal.net. and [protected]@hotmail.com

Interestingly enough, all of this could have been avoided it Rebecca Wildfong had been running an honest ebay business. She would have not been trying to sell something that she did not even have in her possession. She would have mailed my item out within a reasonable amount of time (3 days instead of 14), she would have mailed the correct item (not a substitution because the original item was out of stock at Tupperware) or, imagine this, she would have not even listed the auction in the first place...since she did not have the product, she was not suppose to be direct selling Tupperware products on an auction site or, now, I know this is the hard one...go out and get a real job and stop trying to make people think you are someone you are NOT! I was successful in getting her off of Ebay, banned from selling Tupperware and I am sure within a day or so, she will not have any of the e-mail addresses that she has been sending spam from...because I have contacted Yahoo, MSN, SBC Global and other direct selling companies that she has an e-mail address through to get her shut down due to the excessive amounts of junk mail and spam that I received yesterday from her and all the internet crap she signed me up for. Oh yes, she has a cat named Gilligan. She also sells Adult only items from a company called BEDROOM SECRETZ! How SICK!

eBay beware of purchasing from this dishonest person!

I was the seller through Tupperware, and this person purchased from me. I sent the item a little late, and the buyer filed a dispute with Paypal. Paypal gave them their money back out of my account, but I had already shipped the item to them. So I appealed the dispute with a shipping tracking number, and I won the appeal with paypal because I had proof of delivery. Paypal told me it was my responsibility to get my money back from the customer. The customer has not responded to any of the many emails I have sent them asking for payment for their purchase. I have proof of the purchase, proof from Paypal that I won the appeal, a tracking number showing proof of delivery, and also proof that paypal gave them their money back, plus copies of all the emails I have sent to this person asking for payment. The original purchase from me was on May 2nd through Ebay, Item Number [protected]. Payment was made to me on May 2, 2006 through Paypal for $34.99, Paypal Transaction number 6WJ345454S056014E. Paypal gave money back to buyer on June 12, 2006, Paypal Transaction number 8MM4408025628092T - BUT my merchandise was DELIVERED to them on June 9, 2006 - www.usps.com tracking number [protected]. June 14th, 2006, I appealed case with Paypal and won, but Paypal said I was on my own to get money back. Customer has ignored repeated attempts to collect. BEWARE OF PURCHASING FROM A DISHONEST PERSON, YOU COULD GET TAKEN!

eBay she scammed me!

Brenda Thornhill aka Richard Bailey purchased one set of Tupperware bowls from me, then requested a second set shipped to her. Brenda was shipped out the second set of Tupperware bowls, but she only paid for the one set (first set). She requested the second set after purchasing the first set from me. She refuses to ship one set back, or pay for the second set. It is considered a crime to accept merchandise and not pay for it. I have 2 tracking numbers showing delivery of both bowl sets. Set one sent via FedEx. Set two sent via the US Postal Service. I am an independent Tupperware Representative. Tupperware Corp. has on file the tracking numbers of both bowl sets as well. FedEx [protected] USPS 9102805213907243624815. Brenda Thornhill sells on EBAY under the name richardb5748. Shop with this person at your own risk! She scammed ME!

eBay unjustly removed from ebay!

On Jan. 7, 2007 I received noticed from eBay that my account dhskansas1 has been suspended for association with another account for which they suspended also. The other account was mamawshouse2, which is my wife's account, but I have nothing to do with. She sold an item the person claimed they never received. On Jan. 7, 2007 this person filed an "Item not received" dispute. eBay immediately removed both accounts. Usually, you have have at least 10 days to replay to a dispute. The dispute was resolve on Jan. 7, 2007 by issuing a full refund.

This is unjustified, arbitrary and an abuse of their power to remove my account, dhskansas1, from selling on eBay. I have 952 (100%) positive feedback and have been a powerseller for over a year and half. Despite numerous emails and telephone calls, my account remains suspended.

Their action and in-action is outrageous and I cannot believe they would treat me like this. eBay has no reason to suspend my account. Something needs to be done about this type of action by eBay. I left my job to sell on eBay and have done a great job at it. This is how I am rewarded, suspended for something that nothing to do with my actions or account.

eBay is the biggest scam ever perpetrated by entrepreneurs. From how eBay operates, I would bet my secret gold mine that they are ran by left wing liberals. No conservative business or entity would declare such war on honest buyers and sellers that eBay has commenced. I was suspended for things I did not do, but they only took away my auction format listings for 14 days, I can still do fixed price, but they cancelled all my store listings! And kept the fees... Someone seriously needs to start up competition for them! Why can't the government go after eBay like they did Microsoft? Microsoft did nothing wrong, they just built a product that everyone standardized on, it was the choice of the consumers. eBay on the otherhand, provides crappy services, and gets away with it because there are no other auction sites of similar size and customer base, so we are stuck.

I agree. Ebay allows sellers to pay shipping for instance $30 dollars for a 9.99 item sent parcel post. The item is sent in its own box or you get hacked then your basically screwed.
